Weather: Clear, blue skies, but bitter cold with the chance of showers.

Remember to observe the new Quidditch rule: day one is for arriving to the pitch, after which the referee will post and the game can properly begin!

(Ravenclaw Chaser)

Oh, I hope I'm not late! Kim worried as she walked down to the Quidditch pitch. She quickened her pace. Oh my Lord, It's freezing out here!! She tightened her scarf around her neck and took a sip of her hot cocoa, that she had in a thermos, as she ran to the locker rooms. Look on the bright side, the sun is shining and the skies are blue!

She put on her robes over a pair of long johns to keep her extra warm. She threw her scarf in her locker because she didn't want it to fly off and be lost. She brushed her hair and put it in two low pig-tails so she could put on her new hat. (It was Ravie colors and it had a piece of cloth that hung down over each ear with a string attached so it could tie underneath. It said 'ravenclaw chaser' all over it.) KIm put on her Converse and grabbed her broom. She headed out to the field.

This should be good. Now that I'm nice and warm all I have to focus on is the game. Kim was feeling optomistic as she gripped her broom and kicked off into the air. She looked around, she was the only player there. She was ready for a game. She hoped this game would actually happen as she remembered the last Ravenclaw 'game'.

(Hufflepuff Chaser)

Dragon pulled her hair into a tight ponytail and waved her wand letting the warming and waterproof charm settle over her. She squinted at the sky and noticed one Ravenclaw Chaser was already there. She threw her leg over her broom and did a warm up lap around the field. No one in hufflepuff was there yet so she idly hovered at the center of the field to wait for the game to start.

{Ravenclaw Seeker and Co-Captain}

Rigby stepped out onto the pitch, broomstick in hand. The bright sunshine was a glaring contradiction to the freezing cold that is usually reserved for ice storms and gray cloudy skies. Thankful to be wearing blue longjohns underneath her quidditch robes (and three pairs of socks!), Rigby hopped on her broom and flew high.

The cold air hit her hard, and for a moment she lost her breathe. She reached her favorite altitude, about 20 feet above the game play, and hovered, catching her breath. She waved to the lone Ravenclaw on the pitch, Kimber, and then to dragon too because until the game started she could still think of the Hufflepuffs as her friends, instead of opponents that needed to be crushed.

Realizing that no matter how many layers of clothing she was wearing she would freeze unless she stayed moving she sped off. Rigby practiced her reach and grab snitch moves, occasionally flying by the spectator stands to grab a sip of hot chocolate or handful of warm cinnamon roasted pecans. She noticed Madame Hooch coming on field and got ready for the start of the game.

(Ravenclaw Chaser)

Kim waved back to Rigby, who had appeared on the field right after Pamela, a Hufflepuff Chaser. She knew Pamela was nice, having heard so from many people, but she was on the opposing team and this was a battle. She didn't expect blood to be spilt but she knew there would be competition for the game. Yes!! We have a challenge, after a dud game this is exactly what I want!! I just hope, for once, our whole team would show up. Kim was flying around waiting for the game to start.

(Hufflepuff Chaser)

Dragon rubbed her hands together and stuck them under her armpits. It seemed like that warming charm hadn't help much. Humming a song under her breath from the HE DJ list that she had heard earlier, she scanned the pitch for any new players. Spotting Rigby, the ravenclaw seeker, on the field she glanced at the hufflepuff empty field. She didn't know when the game is going to start but she hoped that some of her team members will remember to come soon. Maybe that had too many firewhiskey last night.

(Hufflepuff chaser and captain)

::Dani ran onto the pitch to see that the qwaffle hadn't been released yet, she sighed with relief, she'd almost thought she'd missed this game as well. She rubbed her head, as it throbbed once more from her recent hangover, stupid firewhisky

She let a smile spread across her chapped lips and she waved at Dragon, before hopping on her broom and flying over to her. The sudden rush of cold air felt good on her face and she felt her headache receed. Running her fingers through her hair she suddenly realized how cold it was, she was glad she was wearing her long johns under her uniform as the recently comforting cool breeze turned foe and stung her eyes and exposed skin.

"Hey Dragon, how are you?" she asked once she was within hearing range of her fellow Chaser::

{Ravenclaw Seeker and Co-Captain}

Rigby was sad to see so many Huffies on the field so early, and still so few Ravens. However once she heard Dragon humming the song she'd submitted to HE DJ she was cheered up. Her song was pretty hummable! XD

She watched Madame Hooch release the balls and blow her whistle and sped off in the direction she had watched the snitch streak towards. At least blue skies meant her vision wouldn't be compromised. Rigby shivered a bit as the cold air attacked her, but she kept her eye on the prize. Ravenclaw could use a good, solid win, and that meant a snitch catch.

(Referee)

Amy flew onto the pitch, whistle in one hand and the box of Quidditch balls in the other. This, the penultimate match of this term's Quidditch season, looked to be an exciting one.

She opened the lid of the box and lifted her whistle to her lips, blowing it and shouting, "Let the match begin!"

The bludgers and snitch zoomed from the crate, and she threw the Quaffle into the air.

(hufflepuff Beater)

Etta ran as fast as the wind onto the pitch, still pulling on her Quidditch robes as she jumped onto her broom.

The cold suddenly began to snake its way into her bones and she shivered involuntarily.

"HI" she screamed to her team mates and waved her beaters bat mencingly at Kate from Ravenclaw.

Not stopping to chat, Etta sped off in the direction of the Bludgers and began calculating which memeber of Ravenclaw she would assault first.

Gaining speed, Etta suddenly realised she was to far above the closest Bludger, quickly performing the Badger Roll, Etta rolled over on her broom, wrapped her legs around the hard cold wood and dropped her body down, swung her bat back and counted,1, 2, 3, hitttttttttttt

Her bat flew with the wind and her arm and smashed into the Bludger, sending it spiralling at the Ravenclaw Chaser

(Hufflepuff Beater)

Streams ran out onto the pitch, her broom gliding alongside as she huffed and panted over the frozen ground. The sky was beautiful, the trees sharply outlined against it, and the air was fresh and cold. Streams grinned and flung a leg over her broom, rapidly rising into the air. Her bat held aloft, she couldn't resist a loud "WOOHOOOOO!"

Something had sure gotten her excited, but whatever it was, she didn't seem to be telling just yet. "Badgers for the wiiiiiin!" she shouted, and promptly went pelting off after the other bludger.

"Nothing can go wrong today...lalalala!" Her singing was swallowed by the wind in her face as she flew with her body almost horizontal in order to go faster. "Come on come on come on lovely little bludger..." she murmured, doing a quick Badger Boogie to avoid from crashing into the Ravenclaw seeker. After the multiple zig-zagging she was a bit dizzy, but her head cleared up immediately the second her bat connected with the bludger with a satisfying whack. It went rushing after the Ravenclaw seeker, who seemed a bit stunned after nearly having collided with Streams...

( Hufflepuff - Keeper)

Kaitlyn flew onto the field and looked around. Seeing the two Hufflepuff beaters she smiled at them and waved. They where funny to watch at times. She than turned around and was that two of the Hufflepuff chasers where there. She waved at Dragon and Dani and than flew to the rings on the opposite side.

Now in her place Kaitlyn put on her goggles and looked around. The skies where clear ,but I was cold out. She raped her Hufflepuff scarf tight around her neck and put on her Hufflepuff hat. Seeing as a Keeper didn't move as much as a Chaser in a game she could get cold. After preparing she looked around for the quaffle and noticed that it had just left the box including the snitch and the bludgers with them. The beaters for the Hufflepuff team where already into action. She smiled and waited for the quaffle to come her way.

(Hufflepuff Chaser and Captain)

::Dani smiled as Amy released the balls, nodding to Dragon she said "let's get this show on the road, shall we?"

With that she was off, racing towards the qwaffle that had only momentarly been released, she bent over her broom and felt the wood under her, smooth and solid. With her sudden speed increase the wind stung her eyes, making them water. Dani blinked back the tears and reached out to scoop up the qwaffle, with the red orb frimly in her arms, she checked over her shoulder to see if Dragon was following her, before zooming off towards the Ravenclaw goals.

(Hufflepuff Chaser)

Dragon waved back at all the Hufflepuff members who had rushed onto the field just as the game started. Trailing after Dani, she grasped her broom tightly and floated after the other Chaser. Doing aloop in the air she hummed brightly and flew along. Today was a nice day for a fly.

"So..." she murmured to herself while watching the Ravenclaw Chaser who was at the other end of the field, "Better start scoring before the other team members show up."

(Ravenclaw Chaser)

Kim heard cries of "Look out!!" and turned around and it was too late. She heard and felt the Bludger ram into her left arm. It bounced off and flew through the air, back in the direction from which it came. She yelled in pain and was almost knocked off her broom, already. Great, ten seconds into the game and I'm almost out!! Bright side, bright side, hmm, it wasn't my right arm? Yeah, thank God I'm not a lefty!!
Gathering her wits she whirled around and saw the Hufflepuff Chaser flying with the Quaffle. She was clear on the other side of the field. This is just wonderful!! They're already gonna score, and where's the Keeper?? Kim flew towards the Chaser. "Rigby!!" she yelled desperately, wondering if they were allowed to block the ball, or if it was against the rules.

(Ravenclaw Keeper)
Feeling devisated that she was late Polly ran as fast as she could down to the Quidditch Pitch. Cursing herself for forgetting that they had a game today. Usually Polly was one of the first people down on the picth. Tearing into the changing rooms, she quickly pulled of her short black skirt and tights throwing them into a small pile on the floor she shoved her Quidditch bottoms on before ripping of her robe. Hopeing that she had not permently damaged any of her uniform she ran to the small mirror hanging on the wall. Searching her pockets she could only find a small black clip. Kicking out against the wall, Polly pulled the few stray bits of hair that usually liked to go in her eyes during a Quidditch game and pulled them back into a clip. Grabbing her broom and stroking it as she quickly bade her way onto the pitch. Her face turning a nice shade of pink as she kicked of from the ground and hurridly made her way to the Ravenclaw posts.

Looking around Polly tried to make out what was happening, she winced as a bludger made contact with the Chaser but saw that no pernement harm had been done. Letting a breath of relief escape her lips Polly looked around at who had posestion of the quaffle. A hufflepuff. "Darn" she cried out before taking her favourite place in the centre of the goals. Coughing loudly she hoped to draw the attention of other ravenclaw's without alerting the Hufflepuffs. Unfortunatly it seemed that before any Ravenclaw's were going to notice the current situation that Ingrid was going to make an attempt at scoring. Looking at her grip Polly saw her pink hands in front of her. She had forgot her Quidditch gloves. No doubt this would be an awfully painful game. Though that was half the fun of Quidditch.

{Ravenclaw Seeker and Co-Captain}

Rigby's heart was beating fast after a narrow collision with a Hufflepuff player. And now Etta and her painful bat were on the field. She sent up a quick prayer that more of her fellow Ravens would arrive to whack some bludgers at the Badgers.

Rigby flew higher still, trying to stay out of the path of bludgers so she could concentrate of her snitch hunt. The wind higher up was stronger and colder, numbing her face almost instantly. Not to be put off by the threat of frost bite, Rigby pulled a dark blue ski mask out of quidditch robes, smaishing it over her head. She looked like a bank robber, but at least she wouldn't end up with the tip of her nose freezing off.

Rigby decided to try to get the crowd fired up, maybe their shouts would rouse any of her sleeping Ravenclaw players. Flying lower, and close to the Ravenclaw stands, she began to chant.

"Here we go, Ravenclaws, here we go!" she clapped in time, and the crowd clapped and chanted with her. A few people were just flat out screaming their support, but hopefully the noise would distract the Huffies. Suddenly a glint of gold caught her eye. Rigby took off, chasing the snitch down, leaving the Ravenclaw supporters to carry on cheering on their own.

(Ravenclaw Beater)

Stephy quickly ran down to the field, her qudditch robes were flapping around her as she tried to pull her hair into a pony tail, along with holding her bat and her broom. The game had already started and she had missed just about half of it. How did this happen Stephy thought to herself as she ran onto the pitch and threw her leg over her broom. Stephy kicked hard off of the ground and rose several feet into the air.

Stephy quickly slipped on her Beater gloves as she scanned the pitch looking for a bludger and within seconds she found on. She made sure that she had a tight grip on her bat as she flew towards the black ball. Once she was close enough she threw back her arm and hit the ball as hard as she could. Stephy watched as it soared towards one of the Hufflepuff Chashers. Stephy beamed as she turned to her fellow teammates and called out "Sorry Im late guys"

(Hufflepuff Seeker)

Rose hobbled around inside the locker room, trying viciously to get her clothing on. She grabbed her broom, and sped out onto the pitch. The game had already begun, but it looked like no one had scored yet. So Rose wasn't too late.

She let out a sigh of relief. Rose had missed the last match due to a large amount of extra homework. She felt like she had let the team down.

Quickly Rose spotted Rigby, the Ravenclaw Seeker. It did not look like she had seen the Snitch yet, which was good news for Rose. The black haired Hufflepuff jumped on her broom and kicked of the ground. She sped past Rigby, in search of the little gold ball.

"Am. Late. Must. Get. Up." Skie mumbled practically incoherently, arguing with herself uselessly as she tumbled back and forth on her bed. "HOLY CRUD!" Jumping up from her bed, and of course hitting herself on the headboard, she realized that today was NOT a good day to sleep in. "QUIDDITCH!" She cried, leaping out of bed. Shrugging into some clothes and grabbing her shoes as she shot out of her dorm, Skie rushed into the Hufflepuff locker room as quickly as if she were being chased by man eating, three- headed dogs. Grabbing her broom and quidditch robes, still shoe-less, Skie stuck her arms through the black and gold silk, and thankfully put it on correctly. Jumping on her broom, Skie shot up into the air and stuck her feet into her shoes, struggling to tie the laces while floating in midair. When her shoes were finally tied, although the bows resembled knots, Skie scanned the pitch for the quaffle. "Oh where oh where has my q-a-uffle gone? Oh where, oh where could he be? With his redishness and..." Skie's pitiful song died almost as quickly as the words had sprung to her lips as she found the quaffle. 'Whew, Dragon's got it.' Glad that the scarlet ball was in Hufflepuff paws/hands, Skie chased after Dragon, glad that she hadn't forgotten entirely about the game.

(Hufflepuff Chaser)

'Hm..Skie thought I had the ball instead of Dani.' she thought to herself and glanced at the Ravenclaw Chasers and Keeper. Maybe she could use it as an advantage for tricking them to chase after her instead of Dani? She waved to Skie, the other Hufflepuff Chaser then turned to Dani, "So do you want me to distract the keeper while you go score? Or Skie and can help you use some tactic or something..." she asked slightly unsure since Dani seemed to be focused on something else.

( Hufflepuff Keeper)

Kaitlyn watched as the three Hufflepuff chasers went soaring down the pitch. She smiled and giggled. This was very good. she just hoped that the Ravenclaw Chasers wouldn't get the quaffle anywhere near the goals for she wanted Hufflepuff to win.

(Ravenclaw Chaser)

Kim flew towards the Hufflepuff Chasers, there were all three. She swooped in interrupting their conversation, oops, not!!! she thought. She cleanly snatched the ball straight out of her hands. She giggled as she sped towards the other goal end, clutching the ball. Her hands were almost frozen, with gloves on but she didn't care. This was called a team sacrifice, she thought. She could hear the Hufflepuff Chasers curse and chase her. She hoped dhe would make it.

She got down to the hoops and heard the Keeper humming, but watching. The Keeper was ready for it. Kim faked a throw to the right hoop, the Keeper lunged. Quickly Kim threw the ball into the left hoop, she made it!!! No way!! Where's Elana? My fellow Chaser missed it, she'll be here soon, hopefully. Kim heard the ding of the bell and cheers from Ravenclaws and Gryffindors.

(Hufflepuff Beater)

:Etta swooped to the left and swerved to the right as she chased down another Bludger, her eyes were half on the game half on the Bludger which kept lunging towards members of her team.

With a deep intake of breath, Etta kicked hard, the cold rattled off her face turning her cheeks rosy red and her ears numb.

The Bludger began to change drection it halted in mid air and then dropped straight down.

Flying like a bat of hell, Etta gained speed on the Bludger, as she grew nearer she noticed it was the Bludger with her name carved on it.

sweet she thought as she brought her bat crashing down hard into the Bludgers right side and sent it vibrating and shaking with power towards the Ravenclaw Chaser.

(Ravenclaw keeper)
Polly let a woop of delight escape her lips as the quaffle went through the opposite hoop. Twiling around on her broom in delight she forgot that she did not have her gloves on and her sweaty hands began to slip as Polly began to fall sideways of her broom. Clinging on tightly with her legs she cursed herself for forgetting her gloves and for fooling around on her broom. Smacking her arms upwards in an attempt to grab the broom Polly snook a quick look at what was going on, on the picth. A bludger was zooming towards a Ravenclaw chaser. "Darn" she cursed herslef as she was still helplessly dangling upside down. Shuffling her bum she tried to movie upwards as in her attempt she somehow managed to smack her head on her broom. " What on earth." she cried going pink as some of the audience began to watch her. In her attempt not to be too embrassed somehow she managed to uncomfortably get back on her broom. Looking around at the audience she saw they were now looking back at the game. Phew she thought whipping her hands on her quidditch robes before crying "Kimber, Rigby watch out!"

(Hufflepuff Seeker)

Rose flew around the whole pitch in search of the Snitch. The cold air felt great on her skin, making the seeker feel better. She concentrated hard, squinting her eyes. Not there. Not there ether. No, don't see it there.

Rose sighed and looked behind her. She didn't see the Ravenclaw seeker. But that could be bad, for Rigby might have already got it.

Then, something shiny caught her eye. The very something Rose had been looking for. The Snitch was hovering right behind Skie, a Hufflepuff Chaser. Shaking with anticipation, Rose kicked her broom and speed forward. As she neared, she called out to Skie. "Yo Skie, DUCK!!!!

Luckily, the Hufflepuff Chaser immediately went down, and Rose dived for the gold ball.

(Hufflepuff Chaser)

Dragon cursed as she realized in the short period of time that she had blanked out, the Ravenclaw chaser had scored. Sending a glare towards Kim she grasp the quaffle that she had spotted by the middle of the pitch and held it with her right arm tightly so that it would not get knocked away. Flattening herself on the broom, she flew really fast over to the hoops and a few feet away from the golden gleaming goals, (lol three Gs) she did a sharp you turn and looking slightly back by turn her head a bit, she tossed the quaffle over her sholder and towards the right hoop.

(Ravenclaw Chaser)

Kim cheered at her goal. But her joy didn't last long. She heard Polly's warning too late, the Bludger hit her arm. This time she wasn't lucky, it was her right arm. Actually, her right elbow, it's bone shattered, judging by what she heard. She looked down at her arm. It hung limply at her side, just dangling. It wasn't bleeding, just hanging. Oh, my God!! I think I'm gonna pass out! That hurt, bad!! She looked over at Etta, the one who had hit it at her. Payback sucks!! she thought as she tried not to cry.

She saw the Hufflepuff Seeker dive for something. Hopefully it's not the Snitch, she thought.

She decided to turn her pain into anger, like she usually did. She looked around for the Quaffle, remimbering that the game didn't revolve around her, and that it wouldn't and didn't stop for her injury. She turned around just in time to see a Hufflepuff Chaser throw the ball towards a hoop. She hoped with all her might that Polly would catch it.

*how's that?*

(Ravenclaw Keeper)

Gasping with panic and exaustion Polly looked up to see kim's arm dangling limply at her side. Instantly Polly thought of flying over there to help her friend, her heart beating fast in her chest she tried not to let the worry of a hurt friend take over the game. Its quidditch these things happen she tried to tell herself calming her down. Closing her eyes she took a deep breath and opened them to see the quaffle head full spead towards her. It was now already in the scoring area and Polly cursed herself for taken a moments breather. Noticing that it was going towards the right hoop Polly began to speed towards it, urging her loyal broom forward. "Please just a bit more quicker." she soothed it. But all her soothing and longing was too late as she heard the all to familiar clunk which meant that Ingrids ball had got through the hoop.

"Darn" she bellowed as she flew down to retrive the Quaffle. Why on earth did she let her mind wander so much. Of course it was okay to worry about a fellow quidditch player but that move could have cost her the game. As her blistered fingers grabbed the quaffle she pulled it in tight to her chest before quickly flying up to the posts. Sitting up right on her broom Polly scanned the pitch looking for anyone to pass to but the only Ravenclaw chaser that had turned up for the game was kim. So signalling to her to come forward Polly made a long throw towards her hoping that although her arm was injured Kim would get the quaffle and bring Ravenclaw back up.

But as the quaffle escaped from her grasp Polly saw to her dismay that the Hufflepuff chaser had seen the snitch. Swearing under her breath she sent a small spell towards her fellow seeker that would just pinch her in the side in a vain hope of calling rigby's attention without alerting the ever amazing hufflepuff beater.

(hufflepuff Seeker)

Rose closed her eyes as she dived for the golden ball. She was going so fast, and the air was so cold she did not feel if she had snatched it up or not. She pulled up after three seconds, and slowly opened her eyes as she slowed her broom. The Hufflepuff Seeker slowly opened her palm.

No Snitch.

Rose sighed and laid down on her broom. So close, she thought. But then, she felt something vibrating against her arm. Rose quickly reached up her sleeve ans felt something cold and round. She pulled out the Snitch.

It tried to fly away, but Rose had a tight grip on it. Her eyes glowed as she stared at the tiny ball. She had never caught it before. She smiled and held it up in the air for everyone to see.

"Yes!" She flew around the pitch, waving the Snitch around as she herd the Hufflepuff's cheer. "YES!"
