HEBB 2 : Bedroom

Shadow had been lying awake for a while, but hadn't shown it, as was her habit. She had been awoken by the movement of the others. Cursing her sensitive sense of hearing, she quietly got out of bed. Silently going through her things, Shadow managed to pick out her drawing pad and pencils. She sat down and began to draw the room and everyone in it.

Groggily, Katie came back into conciousness after a horrible night's sleep. It turned out she had been awoken by the others arousing themselves and the noise that was a result of that. She yawned and stretched, tired, homesick, and hungry. It took every bit of energy not to break down and show her vunerablility. She sat up against her pillows and realized just how lonely she really was. It was hard to beleive that in a house full of people she could feel so alone. As she was pondering these thoughts she realized that nominations and evictions were coming up and her stomach plummeted. She was so nervous because even though she missed home there was no where else she would rather be then here.

She swung her legs out from under the cover so they dangeled over the edge of the bed. Katie slid her feet into the slippers that she had laid out the night before and stood up. She opened the top drawer of her nightstand and pulled out her pink bathrobe and put it on. She was now consderably warmer and more comfortable. So she proceeded to make her bed and look around at the rest of the room. A few people were already awake and one was already drawing. Most people were still sleeping or just waking up. She took her clothes out of the drawer form which she stored them the previous night and layed them out, but didn't put them on deciding she would wait for more people to wake up before leaving the bedroom.

Shadow jumped as she heard some one move. Glancing up, she saw that it was Katie and turned back to her sketching.
"Morning." She said quietly.

Shausto stepped into the bedroom, pausing as she noticed a towel covered figure laying on the floor. Wondering why Gemma would really want to lay down the floor half naked, Shausto grabbed a bedsheet and threw it over Gemma before stepping over her and flopping down on an empty bed.

As she flicked on her iPod, she realized it was almost out of battery.
'..I wonder if theres any computers, maybe here to charge it..' she thought as she realized she had forgotten her converter to a wall outlet.
cursing her dreadful memory Shausto began a search for a way to recharge her ipod...

Finishing her drawing, Shadow replaced the pad and pencils back into her bag. Straightening up again, she looked around before sitting cross-legged on her bed, one eye closed.

"I'll meet you out there later" Shausto replied to Polly, before crawling under the beds.
It was rather dark under there and Shausto had a hard time searching, but eventually she was sure that there was no secret way to charge an iPod under the beds.

As she was wriggling out from under the last bed, Shausto found a long forgotten air horn. It looked all alone, so covered with dust, Shausto couldnt resist the urge to pick it up and make it feel useful. She sat up next to the bed of which she was just under and picked a dust bunny out of her hair, promising herself she'd take a shower after this.

Holding the air horn away from herself, she delicately pressed her forfinger down on the orange button waiting for the blast of sound, convenietnly forgetting that the room she was sitting in at the moment was, in fact, the bedroom.

Shadow leapt three feet in the air when the noise from the horn sounded.
"WHAT ON EARTH WAS THAT?!" Shadow cried, falling off the bed. Once she had picked herself up, she glared at Shausto.

Shausto, still sitting on the floor, quickly hid the air horn behind her back.

"Goodness, I have no idea!"
she responded, pushing the airhorn back into the depths of the under-bed.

Mumbling, she stood up and extended a hand to Shadow.

"Well, I dont think we've officially met yet, so in order to be polite and friendly and all that fun stuff, I believe my name is Shausto."

Shadow ignored the hand, folding her arms.
"Shadow." She replied curtly, still glaring at Shausto.

Shausto retracted her hand to brush some dust off of her shoulder.
"Lollipop?" she offered, holding one out by the stick.

She glanced around herself, wondering why there were no windows to be found in this room. "We should make this room more fun...hm. I wonder if Big Brother has a problem with us repainting the walls...?" Shausto said out loud, more to herself than to Shadow.

Shadow shook her head,
"No thanks." She sat back down on her bed, cross-legged, and closed one eye. The open eye drifted out of focus as she returned to the confines of her thoughts.

Katie who had laid out her new clothes for the day pikced them up and headed for the bathroom to take a shower and get dressed. She saw Shadow and Shousto engage in conversation but it didn't seem to be very intriguing. Shrugging, she left the room and headed down the hallway.

Pamela woke up to the sound of people talking. In the night she had thrown her pillow, half her blanket, and Quidgy to the floor. "Whoops, must have slept pretty hard," she said to herself. "Morning, everyone! You guys sleep okay?"

Then she got up and began picking clothes out for the day. She chose an aqua colored tank top that had brown little bangles all over it and a brown skirt that hit at the middle of her thighs. Then she grabbed a towel and her shower things. Then she plopped back onto the bed to let herself wake up a bit.

As no one appeared to hear her say good morning--everyone was already involved in their own conversations, Pamela decided to get her stuff gathered up. Then she started to go to the bathroom. After a moment's reflection, she decided she needed a cup of coffee. She was a bit crabby.

Dani dragged in her suitcase...she was late from bringing it in from the entry way, but that's what she always was...always behind. She passed Pam on her way into the room and gave a friendly smile.

"Good Morning Pam," she said as she passed her. Pam, however, seemed in a bit of a crabby mood.

Dani sighed and walked away she pushed open the bedroom door and looked around, it was a mess! With dirty clothes lining the floor, empty boxes of pizza, etc, etc. She looked around for a spare bed and spotted one, she dug through the already accumulated bits of trash and set her suitcase ontop of her bed. She pulled out her pillow then shoved the bag under the bed frame. Laying down on the dull blue top she looked around the room and saw a couple of slytherins and a couple of other house members. She pulled out her wand from behind her ear and flicked it a couple times making bright pink streams of confitee come out of the tip as a way to entertain herself.

Violet walked in."Oh my gosh.I lost my way here."And walked over to a bed. "Hello. Im Violet."She said to a girl who had just walked in

Ingrid woke up in mid-snore when she rolled off the bed. "Ow." she muttered and glanced around. There seem to be more people in the room now. She perked up and waved at random people around her before hauling her luggage into her lap and dug through it frantically.

Violet turned around."Are you ok?" She asked

Chelle peered through the door of the bedroom and decided against sleeping in there for that night. Too overcrowded. With the heat in the garden, she decided to sleep out there for the night.

Jumping over a couple of cases on the floor, Chelle grabbed the nearest sheet to an apparent uninhabited bed and started to drag it out ot the garden

Dani looked up when someone addressed her, but at the moment her back was turned. Dani smiled a conforting smile and when the girl, Violet, turned back around she held out her hand.

"Hello Violet, I'm Danielle, but you can call me dani." the hufflepuff offered a warm smile that danced behind her eyes and with her free hand twisted a lock of her blonde hair around a finger.

"Over hyped huh?"Violet asked and laughed.

kIM had gotten back from the restroom, showered, and came back. She found a new kid in the room, talking with violet. she went up and introduced herself:

"Hello, i am kimber, but you can call me kim. we are glad to have you here she said. most of us have claimed our territory so good luck finding a bed, although i think the one on my right is free. but on the left is polly."

kim waited for her reply.

"Umm I already found a bed."Violet siad." And you can call me Violet or Vi" Violet said.

Dani smiled at the new girl, "Hey kim, I'm Dani" she said and looked at the bed she was sitting on, it probably did belong to someone else, she just hoped they wouldn't be to paranoid that she had sat there for a few minutes.

"Thanks for the offer! Um...where do you sleep?" she asked looking around the bed crowded room.

Jess bounced into the bedroom happily. Today was the day, the day that changed her life, the day that she was invited BACK into the BIG BROTHER house.. Some of her best memories took place in this very house, and being back made her chipper. She lugged her bags over, and looked around at the busy room. The first thing she noticed was that there was only two unoccupied beds, and they were probably unoccupied because there previous owners were booted out just moments ago.

She walked up to one of the empty beds and grinned, she stripped the bed of its sheets and threw them on the floor. She then grabbed out a full bed set from her bag and procieded to make her bed. She smiled looking around, realizing her bed was the coolest, all adorned in green. She plucked two pillows out of her bag and put them on the bed along with the little plush gray wolf that her friend had givin her as the finishing touches, then she picked up the old sheets and threw them in a corner.

Oh it was great to be home...

Mick followed Jess into the room. He hadnt picked out a bed yet though he had decided to take whichever bed was leftover, and if necessary, sleep on the couch in the living room.

Grinning, he looked over at Jess and conjured up a box of chocolates, some tissues, a soppy DVD and cup of hot chocolate.

"In case of a repeat of last HEBB" he said grinning as he handed them to her

Jess Grinned and rolled her eyes. "Thank you, but I dont think Ill be needing all of this," She said, grabbing the stuff, and sitting down on the night stand beside her bed. "it might be good to have just in case though," she giggled slightly. Last years HEBB had been drama rama city. She was just hoping that the drama this year was a little les relationship based and a little more... well psycho based.

"Are you looking for a bed?" She asked, smirking slightly.

Jess jumped at some loud speaking coming from a few beds down, "Oh My gosh is that what I think it is? Are you really married......"

Jess became more interested, and smirking to herself she slid over closer to the two talking and interupted, "Hey Im Jess," she said to the two, "and did I hear right? Whos married?"

Pamela walked into the bedroom again, her spirits lightened considerably after her shower. She walked over to her bed and, pulling out her make-up case, plopped down and decided how she wanted to do her face today. "Hi everyone! How are you all doing?"

Jess sighed and slipped away from these girls heading for her bed, She sat down grabbing the DVD Mick had givin her and pulled out her laptop. "Hmm.. What sappy movie did he give me," She looked at it and grinned, "The Princess Bride," She grinned, "A classic." She popped it into her laptop and leaned back stretching, with the laptop in her lap.

June yawned as she sat up in bed. It felt as if she'd been sleeping for days and days... which she probably had. She usually didn't sleep so late, but it might have been because of being in the unfamiliar house. "Hi," she said softly to no one in particular. There were a lot of new people in the house, and June hoped that they'd all be friendly. She suddenly noticed that one girl was sitting and staring at a laptop. June got up and stretched before heading over to that girl; she wondered what she was staring so intently at. She bent down and grinned as she recognized The Princess Bride. "I love that movie," June said, hoping she didn't startle or annoy the girl who was so intently watching.

"Heh," She looked up, "Really? Its one of my favorites," She grinned

"Im Jess btw,"

June smiled and nodded saying, "I'm June." She waited for a moment, gathering the courage to ask, and then said, "Can I watch, too?"
