Astronomy Tower

Morgan walks up the stairs to the astronomy tower, she sits down at the top. "It's nice up here" she thinks to herself

Sophia can't sleep so she heads to the astronomy tower only to find someone else there, she decides to walk over and introduce herself

"Hi, I'm Sophia, I'm a 6th year hufflepuff" says the tall dark haired girl to Morgan

"Hi Sophia, my name is Morgan, I'm a 7th year gryffindor. I was just meeting some friends up here but you should hang out with us" Morgan says with a smile

"Hey Morgan, I finally snuck out, Filch was on the 3rd floor and I had to hide" Kate then looks at Sophia

"You're Sophia Dragon right? I've seen you around the hufflepuff common room and we have a few classes together"

"Yep, we have potions and transfiguration, and maybe history of magic" looking at the rave haired girl she tries to remember her name.

"You're name is Kate right?"

Haley walks up the stairs and notices there are already a few people there, but she pauses on the stairs to wait for her twin brother Jake to meet her

Jake finally made it to the astronomy tower, he sees his twin sister Haley waiting for him.

"Hey Haley, lets go up to the tower now" They both head up and see everyone sitting around talking

"Mind if we join?"

Shadow made her way up the stairs to the astronomy tower, her black cloak billowing out behind her. Opening the door, she spotted several other people and turned to leave again.

Jake hears footsteps behind him and turns around to see someone going back down the stairs, and calls after her

"You don't have to go, we are all just hanging out, you can join us if you want"

Jamie had seen Shadow walking about and decided to follow her to make sure she was alright. "you okay?" he asked her kindly

"Yeah, fine." She said, slightly bitterly.

"what's wrong shadow?" asks Morgan walking over

Shadow looked up at Morgan, keeping her mouth shut.

Jamie sensed Shadows bitterness, " No whats really wrong shodow, i can read you like a book" he sent her telepatically

S.master appeared. (no you don't. bugging into others mind is too rude.) s.master said telepathically.

(actaully, i wasen't bugging into her mind, shadow and Jamie are both half demon half good, and we comunitcate in different ways than humans do, its not bugging its just like knowing some-one very well.)

Jamie watched S.master with a sour eye, he didn't know why he disliked the boy so much, he was still younger than him

Shadow bowed her head.
"You really do know me too well." Shadow replied.

(When have I be liked? Anyway, Half-Demons are more hard to control than full ones.)
S.master scanned the surrounding. " Duh, I forgot my chart. Accio!"

Shadow pulled her hood over her face, hiding all but her violet eyes in darkness.

S.master looked around the sky. "Everyone, I sense we've got some visitors."

Shadow saw Eliza and smartly walked down the stairs, away from the tower.

"What's wrong Eliza?" Morgan walks over to her and sits down

S.master try and concentrate on his chart rather than letting his mind diluted.

Jake walks over after overhearing "Why does Shadow hate you?" he asks

Natalie entered the astronomy tower, clutching her new, golden telescope (one of the things she spent her Christmas money on). She set it up and gazed up at the star- strewn sky through it. It magnified everything 10 times and little lables appeared to show the names of the different constilations.

"Wow, that sucks, maybe you guys just need time to get to know each other" says Morgan after hearing Eliza's explaination

Jamie looked at the gossiping people
"you know, its not nice to talk about people behind their backs!" he said as he walked away to join Shadow..

Morgan looks over at Jamie "Well then Shadow should try to talk out her differences with Eliza"

Shadow materialized in the shadows of the room, watching everyone else.

"Shadow? Can we just forget about that 'incident'? Because there's no point..."

Catheryne walked in, expecting to find an empty room seeing as how it was so late and was surprised to see the room filled with various groups of people. After looking around she figured there weren't too many people and scurried over to one of the windows, with a small telescope in hand.

While she set it up, she glanced around. She recognized most of the people, but she wasn't on intimate terms with them. As she recalled the few classes she had with them, her bad habit of eavesdropping started up and she began listening to the small quarrel.

Catheryne glanced over at the newcomer, "Not another one," she muttered dryly.

"Be nice to the newcomer" mumbles Morgan who heard the muttering

"I wasn't gonna hex him or anything," Catheryne said a bit defensively. "Though it would have been fun, " she whispered under her breathe.

"I heard that" said Will looking over

Catheryne giggled, "Don't worry I don't mean anything by comments like that, they just sort of slip out."

Will looks at Catheryne and decides to believe her, turning back to look out the window

After specifically denying her intention of hexing Will, she starting mulling the idea over in her head, but after thinking of nothing too creative she decided to let him be.
All this talk had gotten her a bit worked up and she didn't really desire to stare peacefully at the stars. Instead she took to staring at everyone in the room trying to remember their names and such.

"Have you memorized the names yet?" Will sneaks up and asks as he sees the look on Catheryne's face.

Catheryne fell off her chair rather clumisly from shock. "No, thank you very much..."
She sighed and sat back down, "I have a bad habit of forgetting things like that, Walter."

"So I noticed" chuckled Will

"...wait...Bill then right?" Catheryne guessed.

Will chuckles again "Close, it's Will"

"Okay, I suppose I've got it now," Catheryne introduced herself, " I'm Catheryne, nice to meet you."

"I'm Will, nice to mean you too"
