Astronomy Tower

First topic message reminder :

Morgan walks up the stairs to the astronomy tower, she sits down at the top. "It's nice up here" she thinks to herself

"When you met, he thought he had you sussed out."

"And what was his opinion?" Shadow asked.

"Like I said." Eliza said. "He thinks you're a drama queen..."

"Then I think that he may be mistaken. I try not to draw attention to myself." Shadow said.

"I don't think this! I'm just telling you what he thinks."

"I know." Shadow replied softly.

Eliza smiled. It seemed that Shadow trusted her.

"I'd tell you about my past, but hardly any one knows." Shadow said. She stood up, meaning to leave.

"Why don't you tell me then?" Eliza stood up too. "Let's talk. I'll tell you about mine."

Shadow turned back to Eliza.
"Ok." She said and sat down again.

"Well... Shall I start?" Eliza asked, sitting down next to her.

"Ok." Shadow said again.

"Ok... My father, Lord Oberon, was in love with my mother. When she found out who he was, she left him, but not before giving birth to Zeke and me. Zeke went to live with his father for a bit, and I had to live with my mother, going to muggle schools where Zeke in particular was bullied. At first we were popular, but then we lost control... Zeke's always had less control, so they would try and make him. We got expelled a lot, until I went to Beauxbatons." She said, "Zeke came too after a bit, but then after a year or so after, we came to Hogwarts. We still keep in mind contact with our father, and during the summer holidays we live with our mother. That's they very basic summing up of Zeke and my life." Eliza concluded. "In a nutshell."

Shadow nodded.
"My mother was tricked by a demon, which resulted in Raven and I. We were raised in the dimension of Synairn. Until we were three, we stayed with Arella, our mother, but then our magic manifested itself. For our safety, and the safety of everyone else, we were placed in the care of the senate of that dimension, and allowed to see our mother once every two months. When I was five, I was staying with my mother for the night, and some one came to the house. Arella recognised it as my father, Kar. She told me to run, but I disobeyed. Kar shot a killing bolt of magic at me, but Arella jumped in front of it to save me. I summoned a portal and pushed him through. I don't know where I sent him. After that, it was decided that I couldn't stay in that dimension, and I was transfered here when I was 7. I was placed under the guardianship of some one called Galen, and that's about it really."

"D'you miss your mother?" Eliza asked, worried she had gone too far.

Shadow nodded.
"That's why I took Dorothy's death had. It was like Arella all over again."

Eliza nodded. Now, she understood why Shadow had hated her.

Shadow looked downat the floor.

"It's not as if I miss my father... I still talk to him, and on some holidays I go and see him, but the last time was when I was at Beauxbatons..." She had just said this to break the silence.

Shadow nodded, keeping up the silence.

Eliza just sat there, not saying a word.

((Ha ha))

Shadow looked around before standing up.
"I'd better go..."

"Right." Eliza stood up too. "Uh, where?"

Shadow didn't answer.

"Shadow? Do you not want me to know?"

"I have to go." Shadow repeated.

"Well, I'll see you around." Eliza sat back down, feeling a little dejected.She had thought that Shadow had started to like her, but apparently not.

Shadow sensed Eliza's emotions.
"I'm sorry, I have to go back to my dimension."

"Really? Would it be too much too ask why?"

"There's a problem I need to deal with." Shadow replied.

Catheryne sighed. She wasn't able to concentrate on her star gazing so she decided to go back to her common room for some sleep.

Eliza turned away from Shadow.
"You have to go. I'll see you later, then."

Natalie continued to star-gaze.

Eliza walked over to atalie, not having seen her before.
"Hi."
