In the Ravenclaw Common Room

Dominus LeStrange was currently reading a book on the couch of the Ravenclaw Common Room. The book was titled Advanced Dark Arts and What You Need To Know. His hair was currently dark green and was styled to look a palm tree.

Lolly entered the Ravenclaw Common Room a bit exhausted carrying a huge pile of books for Ancient Runes. "Whoah! Who made your hair?" she blurted out as she looked amusingly at a guy's hair. "I am Lolly, by the way. I don't think I have met you before. In what year are you?"

He looked up from his book and saw the Ravenclaw Prefect known as Lolly standing in front of him. He grinned at her first question, finding it amusing. "My name is Dominus LeStrange and I am a first year here and to answer your first question, I did it myself. I am known for having strange hairstyles" he said with a grin as he snapped his book shut.

(Oopsy! Forgot to tell you, the character I'm using is also a firstie. Wehe. Sorry sorry.)


Lolly's eyes widened with the thought that he did the thing all by himself. "You really did? Cool! Well, isn't it hard?" she asked with interest.

(Oh, OK then)

He shook his head, telling her no. "Nope, it isn't hard. It's as easy as one" he started to say as his hair turned blue and was draped across his back "Two" he said as his hair turned purple and was tied back into a low ponytail "Three" he finished as his hair turned orange and was spiked up.

Lolly looked with such amusement as he demonstrated. "Where did you learn that? And why are you doing that? I mean, I know a bunch of guys myself, but none of them ever bothers to do such stuffs with their hairs."

He chuckled at her as he turned his hair dark green again and turned it into the style of a palm tree. "Well I'm pretty unique. I like to be different" he told her with a grin as he stared at her with slitted, violet colored eyes.

Lolly sat on the couch and fixed the pile of books she got. "I see. Good thing you have a cool difference to others," she smiled as she fixed her books. What a color! she thought to herself as she looked at his eyes from time to time.

"So, how's Hogwarts treating you so far Lolly?" he asked her as he flipped to the next page in his book, obviously very engrossed with his reading.

"So far so good, somehow," she answered. "And you?"

"Eh, it's fine. Getting a lot of unsavory people bugging me and accusing me of being a Death Eater because of who my parents are but other then that, I'm good" he said as he shrugged his shoulders and turned another page of his book.

"Why? Who are your parents, anyway?" she asked as she started her advanced study for next week.

He shrugged his shoulders and answered her monotonously by saying "Their Bellatrix and Rudolphus LeStrange. I am their son Dominus LeStrange" as he flipped to another page.

Lolly accioed her parchments and quill. "Oh, now I get it. Good to hear you're not...most likely...one of them."

He looked up from his book and gave her a raised eyebrow. "Glad to see you believe me. I'm not a Death Eater. I'm not a terrorist that kisses the robes of Sir Scales and Baldy Moldyshorts. However, I don't work for Albus Dumbledork or his Order of the Kentucky Fried Chicken either. I am of the Gray Side" he explained to her as he went back to reading his book.

Lolly nodded as she put down notes. "Things about people just don't interest me that much. I have been taught that "Poor minds talk about people. Whereas rich minds talk about ideas. So, I sort of live in that way. But of course, I still am not forgetting that I have to be open to the social world." Elaborately she tried explaining in a short piece.

"I see. Well, that is very smart of you" he said with a nod as he stopped at a page and ran his finger over a passage in the book. It appeared he found whatever he was looking for.

"Thanks," she said. "What is that you're reading anyway?" she asked.

"I'm reading a book called The Dark Arts and What You Need To Know. I am currently reading up on the Killing Curse Avada Kedavra. I am currently doing research to see if it's possible to actually survive it, like the Potter child did" he explained to her as he read the final passage about the Killing Curse and snapped the book shut.

"Interesting. Well, I must say, not lots of wizards have thought to seek explanation for that," she pointed out quite impressed.

"According to the information, what little it had on the Killing Curse, that the Unforgivable does exactly has it's named. It kills. The heart stops beating, the brain shuts down and all bodily functions cease to exist. If that is so, then Voldemort should have ceased to exist when Potter sent the curse back at him. However, I think I know how he survived. According to what I know, there is one thing that the Killing Curse does not do when it hits it's target. It does not kill the soul. Now, according to that, Voldemort must have used some type of magic to keep him alive using, from what I can gather, Soul Magic of some kind" he mumbled to himself as he started writing equations on a chalkboard in the room. It appears he was currently having a brain blast of some kind.

Lolly was blaked as she looked at Dom writing on the chalkboard. Equations? Is he Albert Einstein or what? she asked to herself. And as she have thought of it, she have imagined Dom's hair ssame as Einstein's and she crackled aloud.

He ignored her laughing and finished with the equation with a big question mark. "Now, the only thing I can't figure out is how Potter survived. It has to be a kind of ancient magic that has vanished into existence. It has to be a type of ancient blood magic. Maybe from a sacrifice of some kind. Maybe, could it be possible? Yes, that's it. His mother or father must have invoked some old magic during the time they were being attacked Voldemort. One of his parents, his mother most likely, sacrificed herself for Harry and in turn, invoked ancient magic that protected Harry from the Killing Curse. That must be it" he mumbled to himself as he tried to figure out what type of magic was used to give Harry Potter that kind of protection.

Lolly stood up and went beside him in front of the chalkboard. "Seriously, I am also a Ravie, also into finding out stuffs about mysteries, but..." she told him as she continued laughing but didn't managed to finish her statement. "...Do you still, hang out?" she asked him instead, though it appears to ba a random question.

He turned to her and gave her a raised eyebrow. "Hang out?" he asked her, obviously not familiar with the term.

"Yeeeeees! Hang out, as in spending time with other people, a group, friends. Doing silly things and enjoying life to the fullest," she said with some hand gestures.

"I don't have any friends" he said as he turned back to the chalkboard. He was obviously determined to find out what type of magic helped Harry to survive.

"No friends?!!" she exclaimed. "How come?" she asked as she seemed to be not bothering if she's disturbing him.

He turned to her and turned his hair orange and spiked it. He then also morphed his facial area around so that he had six piercings on his nose, five on each ear and one underneath his bottom lip. "People tend to avoid me since I'm a LeStrange" he said as he rolled his eyes.

"Well, I don't," she said, giggling. "Don't tell me you have missed that?"

"I have noticed that, believe me" he said with a look on his that said 'Of course I knew that.' He was grateful that she didn't avoid him like the plague like most of the other students.

"Well, I hope you could consider me as a friend, then," she smiled.

"Who knows? Perhaps I do" he said with a smirk as he turned back to the board and suddenly, he snapped his fingers. "I got it. Blood Protection Magic" he said as he erased the question mark on the board and wrote a sequence of numbers.

"Nah, I take that as a yes," she insisted. And as Dom have exclaimed 'Blood Protection Magic' she too looked at the chalkboard and asked, "What do you mean? Who's blood? Lily's??"

"I assume so. It doesn't really require blood for this type of magic. This type of magic merely requires the two, sometimes more then that, people to be of the blood, meaning they need to be related. When a person sacrifices themselves to protect someone they love, the magic kicks in and protects the person from any harm for a short amount of time. With Lily's death, the Blood Protection Magic kicked in and it rebounded the Killing Curse right back at Moldyshorts" he said with a grin as he turned to Lolly.

Lolly crackled as she heard he called You-Know-Who, Moldyshorts. "You're like a funny person stuck on a serious one, physically! I dunno, but, hah! You ARE funny!"

"I know. Moldyshorts isn't the only name I have for Voldemort. There's also Moldywart, Sir Scales and Baldy and Moldypants" he said with a grin as he chuckled.

Lolly can't believe it, he was a seemingly TOO serious man earlier, and now he's stating lots of names for Voldemort. "Sir Scales and Baldy?...And...and Moldypants?!! You made up all those? And to think that you're a LeStrange! Are you sure you're really existing?" She laughed harder and held onto her stomach. "I mean, I haven't thought a son of Death Eaters would call their MASTER names like those," she explained. "And oh, Moldypants suits him best, it sounds gross," she added as she continued laughing.

"Meh, I'm not too keen on all that Pureblood Supremacy crap nor am I too keen on their mannerisms. Besides, those purebloods that serve that slimy snake in the grass Moldywart are hypocrites. They always say how Purebloods don't bow to anybody yet they bow to some stupid bald, snake faced madman who could be nothing more then a damn half-blood for all they know. For Merlin's sake, they don't even know his real name yet they claim he's a pureblood. If the Dark Lord Voldemort was a pureblood, don't you think he would have told his merry band of Death Nibblers, no offense to my parents and Uncle, what his namewas?" he asked her with a raised eyebrow as he crossed his arms.

"Oh, you sure got a point. Well, I guess they must've just been blinded by his...uhm..cunning?" she said with a sort of obvious doubt with the last word as she shook her head when she've said it.

"His ugly, snake faced mug. Although, that's not really very impressive. With my abilities, I can look more snake then he ever could" he said with a roll of his eyes as he turned his hair a bright blue.

"you mean, turn into snake? Or look like one?" she asked in horror. "If so, I don't wanna see any demonstration, I'm already impressed with what you can do and all, just don't turn into a snake! Goodness!! Puh-lease!" she begged in worry.

"I can turn into a snake no problem. I just meant that I can look more snake like then he can. I think I will show you, just to spite you" he said with a grin as his hair became long and black, his eyes turned from violet to gold but his pupils were still slits, giving his eyes the image of a snake's, his skin became pasty white, kind of like what you would see on a corpse. He then opened his mouth and a long, purple tongue came out of his mouth and wrapped around his waist. All in all, he looked like this:

"Aaaaahhh!!!" Lolly shrieked, ran and hid behind a couch when he heard a hiss. "Don't come nearer if you're still snake looking. Snakes really freak me out!!" she shouted behind the couch covering her face.

"Kukukukuku. I don't know why your so freaked my dear. After all, it was only a harmless transformation" he chuckled in a smooth, slightly queer type of voice as he went back to his real self, this time is hair was a blood red, he had dark circles under his eyes, he had a weird japanese symbol in blood red on the left side of his forehead and his skin was pale.

"Funny!" she yelled ironically. "I am born to fear snakes, if that answers your question," she said.

"And, are you obssessed with manga?" she asked afterwards.

"Not really. I just take appearance from the Mangas. Although, there is one appearance that I rather enjoy" he said with a grin that made him look like a nutcase.

"And which one is it?" she asked.

"That would be this one" he said as he his hair turned dark green and was styled like that of a palm tree. His skin became pale once again, the deathly type of pale, and his body became more feminine like. His shirt turned into a female seductress shirt and his jeans became a skort. All in all, he looked like this:

"Whoah!" Lolly said in awe. What a look! Gorgeous one. she thought to herself as she circled him.
