"Yeah....nuts and raisens," Natalie laughed.

The twins groaned simultaneously.

"What?" said Natalie, and since it was the weekend, she jumped into the lake, clothes and all.

"Wow...th-th-that's cold," said Natalie, shivering.

"We're sitting in Scotland, what did you expect?" Shadow asked.

((Sorry, I'm scottish...))

"Well," she shivered, climbing out, "it is April after all...I thought it would be warmer than Janurary."

Shadow shook her head.
"I wouldn't try."

((Aww...I think they are so cool...I had a friend called Jenny who was from Scotland, but she moved back))

"I did....in Ja-January....a bit colder than this," said Natalie.

"You. Are. An. Eejit," Holly said to Natalie.

Shadow and Raven watched with bored expressions.

"What does it take to get a laugh out of you people?" Holly demanded, "Do I have to fall over and roll into the lake and then be dragged into a secret layer of the Giant Squid where I have tea with Citrus and jammy dodgers and then we go and watch a comedian at the underwater cinema to get a chuckle out of you people?"

"True....but to get dry...I think I'll do the leprechane dance," said Natalie, prancing around.

Holly just watched, shaking her head with disbelief.
George laughed and crawled up to Hollys shoulder.
"Hyper Nat?" he asked.

"Oh yes....too much condensed milk and marshmellows from helping the House elves back 15s," said Natalie.

Holly shook her head.
"Never again," she warned, produced Quidditch Through the Ages from her bag and began to read.

"Do you happen to have fantastic beasts and where to find them on you," asked Natalie, "because I need to look up that," she pointed at a small evil looking animal in the water, "it looks like a Hinkeypunk."

Holly shifted her bag over within Natalies reach.
"Go wild," she said unenthusiastically.

Natalie hoaked around and found what she was looking for and quickly went to the H, where she found the word, 'lama' written on the page.

"Yo Holly, are we just writing down random words now...oh look...it is a hinkypunk...it describes it's horns and facial features exactly as it looks here."

Shadow and Raven shrugged, returning to their meditation.

Holly rolled her eyes and grinned.

"I've read this book three times....and it never gets old," said Natalie, closing the book and putting it back in the bag. The she opened her own bag and pulled out her copy of The Monster Book of Monsters.

She stroked the spine and took off the belt that was binding it shut.

"I want to look up the minitor," said Natalie, "were doing about monster legends in muggle studies."

"Sounds fascinating," Holly muttered, not really paying attention.

"Your not listening to me are you Holly?" said Natalie.

"Huh?" Holly asked looked up sharply. Though looking at the book she hadnt been reading.

"I hope a new up-dated version of 'Fantastic Beasts and where to find them' comes out soon" said Hayley absent-mindedly.

"Mm," Holly said thoughtfully, "That would be cool,"

The twins meditated quietly, side by side.

Holly watched the twins meditate for a moment.
Suddenly, there was a huge explosion.
The water of the Lake errupted and from the centre, a huge firey red monster appeared.

((Sorry i was bored!))

"Oh....that woyld be cool Hayley!" said Natalie with a smile.

Shadow and Raven leapt back from the edge of the lake as the creature burst from it, summoning their magic.

"WOW....IS THAT THE GIANT SQUID?!" Natalie asked in a surprised voice.

"I don't know what it is, but I'm gonna send it to hell!" Raven snarled.
"Peace, Raven. It may not harm us." Shadow said softly.
"I'm not willing to wait and see..."
"You don't have a choice."

Holly stood up, gawping, wandering what on Earth this beast was.
It thrashed around in the water, something in between its might jaws.....a person.
Natalies sister.

Raven had frozen, but Shadow hadn't been about to kill it. Using her magic, she tried to levitate the person away from the creature.

Holly joined in as best she could with her full human magic, but nothing would budge the girl from beast.
Frantic now, Holly picked up the nearest stone and started fireing them at the creature, careful not to hit Jane.

Shadow focused her energy and teleported onto the beast before trying to reach Jane.

Holly watched in horror. Gosh, this kid was brave. But she was sure no amount of magic would let a person kill such a beast alone.
SHe grabbed George and he apparated her onto the back on the beast with Shadow.
"Hello again," she muttered before lunging on the beasts head.

"Holly, it's ok, I think I can get to Jne, go back to the shore." Shadow said.

"But shes not magical at all!" Holly said, not sure if this would effect the matter, "Ill distract this....thing while you get to her,"
She took out her wand, and thought for a moment before stupefying the beast.
This....was a mistake. The spell worked perfectly, but did not have the desired effect.
The beast was instantly knocked out, and fainted back into the water....but with nothing to stand on....the others fell in after him.

Shadow fell into the water, but managed to grab Jane. She looked around for Holly, hoping that she could get to safety.

Holly thrashed around in the water, with only George to hold her up.
It was not a well known secret that Holly couldnt swim.
She fumbled around for her wand in her back pocket...but it had fallen to the bottom of the lake.
She took a look around, making sure Shadow and Jane were alright.
When she saw they were, she took a deep breath, and dived into the water.

Shadow teleported Jane to the shore, discarded her cloak, and then returned to find Holly. She dived under the water, swimming down to find her fiend.

Meanwhile, George passed some magic into Holly, giving her the ability to breathe easily under water and talk. She couldnt exactly swim, but she made her way to the bottom of the lake.
George spotted Shadow coming and passed some of his magic into her, giving her the same ability.
Holly glanced around wandering what George was doing, and instantly said,
"Shad go back to the surface! There could be more of them down here!"

Shadow shook her head.
"I'm staying with you."

Feeling an urge of affection Holly nodded grudgingly.
"Well just dont get hurt," she warned, "Or on my head be it,"
And she groped around in the dark water looking for her wand.
Georges magic only lasted for a few moments.
"And thanks," she added.

Shadow began to help Holly search.

"FOUND IT!" George said, before setting down the oddly shaped piece of rock he had found.
"Never mind," he muttered, and continued the search.

Shadow smiled slightly and continued to search. She found longishpiece of wood.
"Is this it?"

Holly squinted over.
Sure enough, it was the black Holly and dragon heartsting wand, with her fingerprints all over it.
"Yeah," Holly said relieved, and all the breath left her. Georges magic had worn out. She choked and her eyes watered as she attempted to breathe.
She looked around for George to replenish the magic....but George was no where to be seen.

Shadow had felt the magic beginning to wear off and grabbed Holly, beginning to swim towards the surface. Once there, Shadow pushed Holly towards the shore and dived down again to find George.
