"It takes a lot of time and practise." Shadow said.

Eliza smiled, and slipped out. She sat down on the frost covered rock and the air was penetratingly chill. She loved it.

She sat back to wait for the Northern Lights to come out.

"Aww...well now you and Blueberry are here," said Natalie to Hayley, "You can join the ....erm....party."

Shadow looked at Natalie.
"What party?" She said sarcastically.

"The world was used in this context as another name for a gathering Shadow," Natalie pointed out.

"Sorry, I still need to get used to that." Shadow said, shaking her head.

Natalie smiled.

"It's ok," said Natalie, conjuring a giant blanket to put over them all. It felt soft and warm.

Shadow morphed into a wolf and shook herself before curling up by the fire again.

Natalie smiled at the Wolf Shadow.

Shadow opened one eye and returned a wolfish smile.

Natalie pulled the blanket up to her chin to keep warm.

Shadow closed the eye again and sighed.

Hayley smiled, then turned to look at her surroundings. "Where exactly are we?" she asked, pulling her cloak around her.

"North Pole...only safe place....Voldemort's at Hogwarts," said Natalie to Hayley.

Hayely's eyes widened. "Again?" she said, "Wha- well, why?" she sounded shocked. She looked down at Blueberry who was shaking, but not due to cold. There was a loud popping noise, when Blueberry opened her eyes, and a small cloak was conjured aroud her. Hayley smiled. "Wow, non-verbal, wandless magic, awesome," she said.

"To be honest, it's not that hard." Shadow said telepathically, allowing the thought to echo around the cave.

"That rabbit's so cute...I purchased a Kneazle in Diagon Alley recently, but sadly I didn't bring him here with me," said Natalie, frowning.

"You're all being annoyingly loud!" Holly retorted, and turned to face them all.
"Hello Hayley.....Eliza.....glad you could....join us,"
She rubbed her eyes.
"Im sorry. Im just annoyed....so....,"

Hayley smiled weakely at Holly. "Um, so, when do we....get out of here?" she said nervously.

"I think tomorrow, when a new portal can be produced," said Natalie.

Shadow looked up and morphed back.
"I think I may be able to help you there."

Eliza heard what they were saying.
'Why would anyone want to leave here? It's the most amazing place... And reeindeer fur cloaks would be best to keep warm if you guys don't like the cold - their hairs are hollow, they provide insolation." She conjured them and handed them out. "The Aurora might come out soon."
Her ermine flowed on to her lap and stared up at the sky.

Hayley looked up at the sky. Sure enough, it was beautiful, but she missed Hogwarts, and Jake. Especially Jake. She stroked Blueberry's fur.

Shadow sneezed violently and accidentally teleported to the other side of the cave.
"Oh Arias no..."

Hayley watched Shadow, amused. She held up a tissue. "Tissue?" she asked.

Shadow accepted the tissue.
"I seem to have acquired a cold." Shadow said, blowing her nose. "Not fun."

Hayley half-smiled. "Aaw," she said sympathetically. "I hate colds," she added.

"Raven and I hardly ever get colds, but when we do... It's not pretty." Shadow said with a small smile.

Hayley smiled back.

Shadow sneezed again, teleporting once more. She tried to walk away, but her arm was stuck in the wall. Concentrating hard, she tried to teleport out of it again.

Hayley breathed in sharply. "You okay?" she asked, slowly moving forward, to help her.

"I've got my arm stuck in a wall, what do you think?!" Shadow said angrily, finally teleporting. She appeared a few feet in the air and fell to the ground in a heap.
"Ouch." She muttered.

Hayley stepped back, an eyebrow raised. "Just asking," she muttered.

"Guess why I hate colds." Shadow said, picking herself up. "Sorry for snapping."

Hayley smiled. "That's okay," she said, "I get like that when I have a cold,"

"Raven and I teleport, morph, or blow something up when we sneeze." Shadow said.

"Oooh," Hayley replied, "I just sneeze all the time," she said half-smiling.

"We don't tend to get ill in the first place." Shadow said.

Hayley frowned thoughtfully, interested in the lives of part-demons.

"I heard that one." Shadow said, banging her head off the wall.

"It's a compliment, that I'm interested," said Hayley in reply.

"Yeah, I was going to say that you can just ask a simple question." Shadow said.

"oooh touchy," Holly muttered yawning and stroking George.

Eliza looked up, and the aurora appeared. It was like curtains of incandecance, and she could feel the tingle of it on her bare skin. A broad smile came to her and Pago mewed contentedly.

Hayley gasped, and even Blueberry tensed. "Wow," they said at the same time.

((My life dream is to see the aurora, just in case you needed to know... lol))

Eliza sat back against the rock. Coming to the North Pole was her rest cure, and she was loving every minute of it. Of course she was cold, but she could stand it for the tingle of the aurora on her skin, the moon's glow and the star's twinkle.

Hayley sat down, relaxing. It was beautiful. She rubbed her hand up and down her arms, and shivered. It was cold, but warm at the same time.

Eliza didn't notice. She was mesmerised by the beauty of the Northern Lights, so she also didn't see the polar Bears loping towards them.

Hayley got up, and whipped her wand out. "P- polar bears!" she cried.

Eliza snapped out of it, and saw the great white figures.
"I'll take care of them."
She strode up to the bears and held out a hand to stop them. Snow streamed from her hand, and engulfed them. The bears instantly recognised her, and sat down on the snow, peaceable. She began to talk to them in a strange language, and presently, the bears went in search of other prey.
