Hayley raised her eyebrows. "Wow," she said. "Um...thanks," she said gratefully.

"It's ok, they've learnt not to hurt us now... It's not the first time, and I was terrified of them, to tell you the truth." She smiled. "Let's go back innside the cave. Maybe Shadow can get us back to Hogwarts."

Hayley nodded, pulling her cloak around her. She walked inside followed by Blueberry.

Eliza followed her with her ermine, and sat further away from the magical fire, glancing at it every so often in distain.

Hayley conjured a few pillows, and sat down. "Pillow?" she said to Eliza.

Shadow looked up at them as they walked back in,.

Eliza took the pillow from Hayley, thanked her, and lay down, looking up at the cave ceiling. The aurora had gone by then, covered by the clouds, and Eliza hoped to see it one last time before going back to Hogwarts.

Holly glanced up at the sky. The Northern Lights were rather pretty.

Shadow morphed into a wolf, seeking the thick fur coat that came with it and curled up by the fire.

"So how did you get here?" Pago asked them, and Eliza looked over to them.

Natalie, who had fallen asleep, woke up with a start.

"Bloody hell....oh look....the Northern lights...aw crap....they're going away," said Natalie, frowing

"Nattie, why are you and everyone else here, of all places?" Eliza asked again.

"Because a portal was created to get us away from Voldemort at Hogwarts and we can't go back 'til morning," said Natalie, "I think we're here because it was only safe place Riley could get a portal to in such short notice."

"Riley?" Eliza raised an eyebrow, then realised who he was.
'Oh, Holly's boyfriend?"

"Apparently, he's not Holly's boyfriend," said Natalie, "we're just friends." Natalie did an uncanny impression of Holly's voice.

"Hey!" Holly called over, "That was really good! And we are just mates.....,"
Riley glanced at her.
"Yeah. Yeah totally,"
"Suuuure," George said.

"Yeah, and my names Billius," Hayley replied sarcastically.

"Thank you George," said Natalie, grinning.

Hayley grinned. "I'm cold," she said quietly.

"Me too....hey Riley, how long before you can make another portal?" asked Natalie.

Hayley curled up into a ball, and huddled under her coat.

Natalie put the extra large blanket around Hayley.

Eliza and Pago rolled over on their back and looked up at the sky. Soon the clouds would clear...

Natalie also looked up.

Hayley smiled thankfully at Natalie, and also turned her head up to the sky. Blueberry shivvered beside her, and Hayley cuddled her close.

The last of the clouds rolled away, and the Aurora appeared. An intake of breath from Eliza. No matter how many tims she saw it, it never failed to astound her.

Hayley gasped sharply, and stared wide-eyed at the beauty of it. She drew her blanket closely around her, but the light of the Aurora seemed to warm her.

Natalie smiled.

"I've alway wondered what this looked like up close," said Natalie quietly.

"Twenty hours till the next port can be opened," Riley said quietly, handing Holly over his jacket.

Hayley smiled at Riley. "That's immense...that you can open port-holes. Why can you do it anyways?" she asked thoughtfully.

"I was wondering that too," said Natalie.

Hayley looked at Riley, and waited for an answer.

Natalie also waited patiently.

"Riley?" said Hayley.

"Yes?" Riley said snapping into the room.

Eliza ignored what they were saying. What did it matter? She was in one of the places that she loved the most, aside from Hogwarts, and her father's kingdom.

"You alright 'Liza?" Holly asked glancing over at her.

"Riley, how do you open a porthole?" Hayley asked.

Eliza came to her senses as Holly asked her a question.
"What?" She sat up. She must've dozed off.

Holly nodded at her. It was easy to become transfixed by the lights.
Riley looked up at Hayley.
"Its a complicated kind of magic. One that only half warlock's- (is that what riley was again? lmao)- can do.....,"

Natalie was getting confused by the two different conversations going at once.

Riley smiled warmly at her.
"You alright?" he asked Natalie.
Holly glanced at him.

Eliza settled back on her pilow once more. Their conversaton became meaningless noice, as she slipped into a sort of state of meditation.

Holly watched her for a moment and then sighed and looked around the cave.

"Yeah," said Natalie, still watching the aroura borialus

"Im bored," Holly muttered, "Im gonna go walk.....you coming George?"
George nodded and followed Holly out.

"I'm coming too," said Natalie.

Shadow fell asleep, one ear twitching occasionally.

Holly walked the length of the cave, and turned. She continued down a little path, through the snow. Thinking.

Shadow woke up and stretched, before padding out of the cave, glad of her thick fur.
