Dare the Master

First topic message reminder :

Holly placed the sign "Dare the Master" on the table top and sat on one of the two vacant seats behind it.
She was in behind a portrait on the seventh floor, and ready to be dared.
In front of her was the advertisement she had placed around school and in Hogsmede, "COME DARE THE DARER, Holly Bristol will do just about any dare you dare her to. Three sickles for each dare Holly completes. Seventh floor. First come first serve,"

Natalie sat down.

"I can stay here with you to wait if you want," said Natalie kindly to Shadow.

Hayley walked back into the corridor. "Nothing else better to do, so I thought you guys would still be here," she said.

Natalie grinnied.

Hayley smiled to. "S'up?" she asked.

"Did you get lonely?" Natalie asked.

"Aye," relpied Hayley smiling. "I thought maybe Jake would be in the Hall, but he must be up in the Common Room, and I couldn't be bothered goig up there."

Suddenly, Daisy came racing up the stairs. She stood for a momement, breathing so heavily from running up the stairs so fast. "Hayley, you have got to come and see this." She grabbed Hayley by the arm and started dragging her down the stairs.

Shadow watched the goings on, thinking carefully, plotting.

Hayley looked behind her, not knowing what was going on. "I'll be back soon," she said.

Shadow nodded, not really listening.

After ten minutes, Hayley ran back upstairs, looking frustrated. "She's so annoying," she said, "Daisy just wanted to show me her new...trophy or something."

Shadow smiled slightly.
"Thankfully Raven never does that."

"Lucky you," replied Hayley grinning.

"That may be one advantage, but there are two sides to every story." Shadow said.

Hayley nodded. "Hmm," she said thoughtfully.

"What's the 'hmmm' for? What's on your mind?" Shadow asked.

Hayley's eyes welled up. She sniffed. "I, um, sorry, I'm just thinking, about, Emma. I used to have sister called Emma, and I never appreciated her, until she was gone.," she sniffed again. "Deatheaters," she added.

Shadow nodded sympathetically, pushing a few of her more upsetting thoughts to the back of her mind after they had resurfaced.

Hayley smiled slightly. "Sorry for dumping this on you," she said.

Shadow smiled slightly.
"I don't mind. There are some things I can help with, and sometimes it just helps to tell some one."

Hayley smiled. "Thanks," she said.

"You're welcome." Shadow replied.

"Aw Hayley...you never told me about that," said Natalie quietly, "I feel so sorry for you."

Hayley smiled. "Thanks, not many people know, but I feel I can trust you guys," she said.

"You can... most of the time." Shadow said.

Hayley half-smiled and nodded.

Holly grinned back.

Hayley heard footsteps coming up the stairs, and Jake arrived. "Well goodlooking," he said grinning. Hayley grinned. "Yourself?" she asked smiling.

Natalie snapped back into the room.

"What were we talking about?" Natalie asked

"Talking about how hot i was," Holly muttered.

"Ahh....well...that would be quite to me...but very to Riley," said Natalie.

Hayley put her arm around Jake, smiling. "Yes Holly, we were talking about how hot you were," she said sarcastically. Jake laughed.

Natalie giggled.

"Wish Gareth didn't have to do OWL now....still...they are important to determain what you will do with the rest of yoy life," sighed Natalie.

Shadow nodded.
"What are you lot planning to do with your life?" She asked.

"I was thinking of...well...helping Hermione Granger in her mission of taking S.P.E.W further...she's already made me deputy head of the organisation," said Natalie excitedly.

"Cool." Shadow said.

Hayley smiled, "Awesome," she said.

"What do you'se want to do after you leave Hogwarts?" Natalie asked.

"I'm planning on becoming a Healer." Shadow said shyly.

"Aw...That's amazing Shadow...and you do have a great talent for healing," said Natalie, grinning

"Thanks." Shadow said.

"No problem," said Natalie lightly.

"Yeah, you healed my wound that Voldie gave me," she said smiling.

"True that," said Natalie, smiling again

Hayley nodded, grinning.

Natalie grinned too.

"Okay, enough grinning," said Hayley sternly. Then she grinned again.

Shadow merely watched the pair, faintly amused.

"I amuse myself," said Natalie, laughing.

"Aye, and you amuse me to," replied Hayley laughing.
