Dare the Master

First topic message reminder :

Holly placed the sign "Dare the Master" on the table top and sat on one of the two vacant seats behind it.
She was in behind a portrait on the seventh floor, and ready to be dared.
In front of her was the advertisement she had placed around school and in Hogsmede, "COME DARE THE DARER, Holly Bristol will do just about any dare you dare her to. Three sickles for each dare Holly completes. Seventh floor. First come first serve,"

"Yay me," said Natalie, jumping up and down and clapping.

Hayley copied, lauhing, untill sat down again, with a stitch.

"Stitch? Aw rage...you ok?" Natalie asked kindly.

Hayley nodded smiling, "Yeah, fine thanks," she said.

"Good," said Natalie, grinning.

Hayley got up, and grinned. "So what's the hot goss then people?" she asked.

"Not much," replied Natalie.

"Boring," said Hayley, then grinned to show she was joking.

Natalie grinned back.

"I am boring though...but if you'se didn't have me, Holly wouldn't be passing History Of Magic." said Natalie, grinning.

Hayley nodded then said, "Yeah, by the way, thanks for all those times you helped me and Holly. We're such failures...." she then smiled and said, "Actually, I'm not even that dumb..." Hayley then walked into a door.

"Holly's not dumb either," Natalie frowned, "but I will give her 10 galleons if she passes history of magic on her own this year," said Natalie, looking thoughtful.

"Ooh, I'd like to see that happen." Shadow said, but it was clear in her voice that she was joking.

Natalie smiled at Shadow very widely.

"So...how are you?" she asked her.

((I nearly went insane because I missed you guys so much!!! My internet got cut off, and the school librariens don't like me that much.)

"Tired, but other wise fine, you?" Shadow said.

((Aw...that's so sweet...I really missed you too. Hannah won't be online 'til like next Thursday as she's on holiday, and then myself and Hannah will be on holiday sometime in July so we won't be on...but I'm online for now anyway....lol...glad your back))

"I'm ok...getting stressed about OWL's...but I'm ok," said Natalie, grinning again.

(Yeah, I won't be on as much until about halfway through july, and one week at the end of august, otherwise, I'm hoping to be around.)

"There's nothing worth stressing about if you know the stuff enough." Shadow tried to assure her.

"And I know my stuff well," said Natalie, grinning, "honour role students have to know there stuff, right Shad?"

Shadow chuckled quietly, which sounded a bit like a dog barking softly.
"I suppose so."

Natalie smiled.

"Same old Shadow," she said quietly, so as only Shadow could hear her.

Shadow smiled slightly.
"Not much changes, does it?"

"Change isn't always good," said Natalie, grinning back

"And sometimes it's just what one needs." Shadow replied.

"That is true," said Natalie, "alot has changed in the past while Shadow...there are new....well...I could call them people...in my life...you want to meet them?" Natalie said to Shadow, taking out of her pocket the amulet of Dambella, "I could call them here if you want."

"There is someone new on my side as well, so we might as well make all the introductions now." Shadow said.

Natalie smiled.

"Ok Shadow...but prepare yourself...." Natalie said. She held up the amulet.

"Ade Due Dambella...guys...come and meet Shadow," said Natalie quietly.

There was silence for a few moments, and then Natalie heard the pitter patter of tiny feet behind her. She whipped around. There was her dolls, Chucky the good guy doll and a bride doll named Tiffany and a smaller doll named Glen...or Glenda (He thinks he's both a boy or a girl), who were a killer dolls but had a spell put on them so that they couldn't kill anyone, until such time when the spell could be taken off them and they could be used against death eaters.

"Hey sweetface, what's up?" said Tiffany.

"And who the heck is Shadow?" asked Chucky in an interested tone.

Glen hid behind his mother.

Shadow bowed deeply to the trio.
"I am Shadow." She said quietly, "and this is my sister, Raven."

"Very nice to meet you both sweetface," said Tiffany.

"Yeah....at least this one shows me some respect...not like that Phoenix girl who started telling me I wasn't scarey...I mean...HELLO....I am a doll who could kill someone with anything you give me....and that includes a pillow," said Chucky, grinning broadly at Shadow. Then he looked at Glen who was pulling his mother's dress and screaming.

"Don't mind Glen sweetface...he's not like me and Chucky...he isn't a killer...when he's Glen...but as Glenda...well Glenda loves to kill....it's basically like we have two kids in one," explained Tiffany, grinning.

Natalie grinned.

"See...didn't I tell you to prepared yourself," said Natalie, grinning fondly at the dolls.

"I've lived with demons." Shadow said with a small smile. "Not a lot can shock you after that, but I see what you mean." Raven looked disinterested.
"Ok, who brought the titches?" She said, until Shadow stood on her foot.

"Oh...well...see...Holly gave me Chucky for my birthday, and then Gareth gave me Tiffany because his late Aunt who was a Hollywood actress left her for him in her will, but he thought I'd like it because he's a boy and therefore doesn't like dolls....and tehn Glen...or Glenda...got posted to me from England to be with his parents....and he is there real son....or daughter..." said Natalie, grinning, "it's all very confusing."

Shadow raised her eyebrows, surprised.
"Ok... well... would you like to meet the new addition from my side?"

"Yeah...ok sure," said Natalie, grinning, "Oh and by the way...the reason they are alive is because they are possessed by humans....and I woke them up with the amulet on my birthday. I had heard the urban legend of these guys...buy didn't know the existed until then...so I know the amulet would be in Chucky's pocket."

"Cool." Shadow said. She chanted something under her breath and a tall boy appeared next to her. He had floppy silvery hair, but was only about fifteen. His eyes were completely grey, with no white and his skin was whiter than a sheet, giving him a trapsparent and weak air, but he was anything but. He folded his arms, watching everyone carefully. "Er... meet Shaeman." Shadow said auietly.

Hayley had popped out to talk to Proffesoor McGongal about a time-turner, as she had lost her old one. "Hi Shadow!" she said, walking back in, "And Raven, aaaand...." she looked at the newcomer, and wondered who he was.

"Hello again Hayley. This is Shaeman, from my dimension." Shadow said, introducing the boy next to her.

Hayley smiled, "Hi Shaemen, nice to meet you," she said, hoping she pronounced his name right.

Shaeman didn't reply to Hayley, glaring at her. Shadow tapped her foot impatiently at him.
"How many times do I have to tell you?"
"Countless." Shaeman said in a low hiss. Shadow rolled her eyes.

Hayley narrowed her eyes questioningly, and didn't know what to say next.

"PLease excuse him, he still hasn't managed to get a basic grip on manners." Raven said quietly to Hayley.

Hayley nodded, "Oh, right, okay," she said, half-smiling.

Shaeman stalked off to examine a statue, leaving Shadow to graon.
"Raven, I know he's one of us, but why did we agree to look after him?"
"No idea."

Natalie, who had nodded off, smiled at the new comer.

"So...he's on our side," she said, looking the new boy, Saeman apparently, up and down, "seems cool, doesn't he?"

"On your side? Your guess is asgood as mine." Shadow said darkly.

Hayley frowned, and shook her head.

"Really?" said Natalie, "I think he looks like someone who has come from the dark side, to our side....but I'm only going by his looks."

"To me...he looks as sly as that dude you're all afraid of," said Chucky thoughtfully.

"Voldemort," Natalie prompted Chucky.

"Yeah...him," said Chucky, nodding his little plastic head.

Glen and Tiffany nodded too.

"Don't mention him, ok? I don't need him getting any ideas. He's three quarter demon, not half like me and Raven." Shadow muttered.

Natalie shifted her wait from side to side.

"Ok," she said, "we just need to be careful what we say or do around him."

"Kind of, yeah..." Shadow said.

"Aw...rage," said Natalie, grinning.

"He's only with us to learn some manners." Shadow said. "I don't really approve of him, even if me is my half-brother."

"Is he now," said Natalie, interested, "he doesn't look too bad...really."
