Shadow, Raven and Shaeman's leaving party.

The trio stood in the shadows just inside the forbidden forest, waiting for the friends that they had called. Everyone had been called so that they could say a last farewell before they had to leave them, their home, Hogwarts, everything, and return once more to their home dimension. Shadow held her head low, trying not to cry. Raven was picking at the hem of her cloak, and Shaeman was emotionless, even though he screamed out to the sky in his heart. They had told no one that they were leaving, and now was the time to tell them, before anyone tried to find a way to let them stay.

Shadow had read the stars so often, that she knew that there was no hope of being allowed to stay. The High Priestess' orders were clear. All Synari were being called back to their home dimension, no exceptions. She blinked back her tears desperately, trying to put a brave face on their leaving, but to no avail.

Raven wasn't crying, but her heart was filled with anger. Anger at the orders they had received. Just as they found their place and a close circle of friends, somewhere that didn't care who your parents were or how dangerous you were, they had to be ripped cruelly from everything that they wanted.

Shaeman stood a little way off, standing with two pegusi, one a rich brown, the other pure black. He was rubbing the black one's shoulder, trying to sort out his head. One part of him wanted to break down and cry, the other begged him to scream aloud in anger, but he did neither. It was not his place. He had found company on Earth, even though he was more dangerous than his half sisters, he had found a girl he loved more than anything, but no. It was not meant for him. Not for someone like him.

Violet looked up. "Didnt find her?" She asked, sitting her diary down.

Shaeman shook his head.
"No."

"Maybe we can find her in the morning." Violet said, twisting her neck.

Shaeman nodded tiredly, sighing.

"If your still tired, you can lay down." Violet said, scooting over on her bed. "It's not like Luthwing minds, he stays under the bed." Violet said.

Shaeman nodded, lying down beside Violet.

"So how long do I have to wait for this story?" She asked, grabbing a quil from beside her table.

"As long as it needs to be." Shaeman replied.

Violet sighed and started to write down things for her homework.

Shaeman slipped into a light doze.

Violet looked over to see Shaeman falling sleep, so she grabbed her diary again. She started scratching out some stuff and writing down things in its place.

Shaeman opened his eys staring straight ahead of him.

Violet turned the page, scratching out something on the page. She sighed, setting it down beside her and grabbing her homework essay again.

Shadow shivered, even though the night was warm, moving closer to Merlas, who shielded her with a wing. She coughed hard, feeling the pain in her ribcage.

"Do you think she will be ok? I wish I knew what happen." Violet asked, setting her homework aside.

"Hmm?" SHaeman asked, turning his head towards VIolet.

"I asked do you think she will be ok?" Violet asked again, turning on her side. "Ive been there to where she was....I think. And I remeber it being horrible but not to dam depressing." She said.

"You only saw part of it, the better part." Shaeman replied.

"Oh." Violet said, using her hand to prop her head on. Seeing as I'm never hearing the story, why did you, Shadow, and Raven come back? I mean, I'm glad your back, but why?" She asked.

"We saw Merlas flying like she had dynamite stuck up her butt, Shadow unconscious on her back and followed thel here." Shaeman said.

"Oh." Violet said, laying back on her back again. "What else is bad about where she was?" Violet asked.

"You don't want to know." Shaeman said darkly.

"Shaeman, I've lived with my father. What else is to dark for me?" She asked, putting Luthwing back on the floor.

"You have only seen a part of it. THe darkness there is neverending, it is more than can be described." Shaeman said.

Violet huffed, but nodded. Kicking her shoes off, she grabbed her cover from ealier.

Shaeman sat up and looked around.
"Do you mind if I go and take a shower?" He asked.

"Does bother me. Dont use the vanilla, it belongs to the puggys." She said, laying back down.

Shaeman nodded and walked over to the bathroom.

Violet made sure the water was on before she got out of her bed. She walked over to her trunk and opened it, grabbing her purse and lighter.

Shaeman walked back out, his silvery hair flt aver his head, hanging over his eyes.

Violet had lit her cigarette was leaning against the window. She heard the door open and didnt turn around.

SHaeman saw Violet smoking, but payed no attention.

"NIce shower?" She asked, inhaling. She blew it out, bitting her lip.

Shaeman nodded, conjuring a small flame in his hand and using it to dry his hair, blackning the tips very slightly.

Violet nodded and after a while, threw her cigarette out. Walking to the bathroom, she brushed her teeth and sat back on her bed.

Shaeman had started to read a book, even though he was just trying to hide his worry.

Violet laid on her stomach, trying to do her homework. "I'm sorry, but I cant sit here any longer." She said, putting a pair of jeans over her shorts. "I'm going to look for her, even if I get killed doing so." She said, grabbing her cloak, Luthwing, and wand.

SHaeman nodded.
"I'll come with you."

"Well come on." She said, slipping her shoes on and walking back down the stairs.

Shaeman followed, morphing into a pegasus as he went through the main doors.

"I wish he didnt do that." Violet mumbled, running down the stairs to outside. Saying "lumos" She walked futher into the woods.

Shaeman trotted alongside Violet until he stopped and whinnied loudly. Merlas answered him faintly, and he trotted off in that direction.

"Wait up!" Violet yelled, running behind him. "Do what you want Lutwing." She mumbled.

Shaeman stopped and waited for Violet. He looked at his back, and then at VIolet.

"Do I have to?" She asked. Without waiting for an answer, she got on his back.

Shaeman waited until Violet was settled between his wings before throwing himself forwards in a gallop.

Violet held onto his mane, closing her eyes.

Shaeman controlled his pace and slowed down next to an ancient oak tree where Merlas was curled up in a hole in the roots.

Violet jumped off, a little shakey.

Merlas looked up at the two and whinnied softly.
