Shadow, Raven and Shaeman's leaving party.

The trio stood in the shadows just inside the forbidden forest, waiting for the friends that they had called. Everyone had been called so that they could say a last farewell before they had to leave them, their home, Hogwarts, everything, and return once more to their home dimension. Shadow held her head low, trying not to cry. Raven was picking at the hem of her cloak, and Shaeman was emotionless, even though he screamed out to the sky in his heart. They had told no one that they were leaving, and now was the time to tell them, before anyone tried to find a way to let them stay.

Shadow had read the stars so often, that she knew that there was no hope of being allowed to stay. The High Priestess' orders were clear. All Synari were being called back to their home dimension, no exceptions. She blinked back her tears desperately, trying to put a brave face on their leaving, but to no avail.

Raven wasn't crying, but her heart was filled with anger. Anger at the orders they had received. Just as they found their place and a close circle of friends, somewhere that didn't care who your parents were or how dangerous you were, they had to be ripped cruelly from everything that they wanted.

Shaeman stood a little way off, standing with two pegusi, one a rich brown, the other pure black. He was rubbing the black one's shoulder, trying to sort out his head. One part of him wanted to break down and cry, the other begged him to scream aloud in anger, but he did neither. It was not his place. He had found company on Earth, even though he was more dangerous than his half sisters, he had found a girl he loved more than anything, but no. It was not meant for him. Not for someone like him.

"It's nothing dammit." Violet said, turning to look at him. "I cant stand up to my father ok!" She shouted. "If I could I wouldnt be trying to kill your sister or say that you guys are weak. Do you get it now." She hissed.

Shaeman looked at Violet with a calm down look, and sighed.
"All you had to do was say that."

"Well if I wanted to say it the first time I would have." She said, walking past him.

Shaeman sighed and walked over to the window, looking out over the school grounds. A storm was approaching, judging by the swirling clouds and the ominous sound of distant thunder.
"He will arrive soon." Shaeman said aloud, looking at the flickering, dancing shadows in the castle and the grounds.

Violet walked outside, making her bottle of firewhiskey appear again. "No one is stopping me." She mumbled, taking a swallow.

The shadows bubbled, rising up and taking the form of a cloaked figure. The hood-covered face slowly turned to see Violet.
"Where can be found Shaemanata Mercian?" The figure said in a rasping voice that eminated from the storm.

Violet looked at...thing. "I no one of the them name Shaemana...what ever the hell you said. Who are you anyway? Get lost." She said, taking another swallow from her drink.

The creature's head looked towards the castle, and then back at Violet.
"I seek Shaemanata Mercian, kin to myself and to Allyssianne and Rachel Roth." It said in the same rasping voice.

"You have issuses. Rachel? Alyssia? Shaemanat....oh." Violet said, knowing who he meant now. "Sorry, you cant see either of them becuase I dont know where they would be." She said. 'Shaeman, someone is here to see you.' She thought to Shaeman, praying it got to him.

Coming straight over. Shaeman said, striding towards Violet.

"I have no knowledge of these... issues, and Shaemanata will know who I am, there is no need for you to know." The creature replied.

"I have to right to know everything about my boyfriend. Ok?" She told him, taking another swallow. "So you, go and what ever." She said, losing balance.

Shaeman strode out of the castle and stood next to Violet.
"Caleb." He said politely.
"Shaemanata." Caleb replied.

Violet sat down, so she couldnt fall completely on the ground. "Violet." She mumbled, raising her hand a bit.

Caleb turning his head slightly to look at Violet before turning his gaze back to Shaeman. They started to talk in low tones, impressing the secrecy of the conversation.

Violet raised her bottle, wondering if she should drink the rest and just throw the bottle. Drinking the rest, she threw the bottle and felt her mark burn. "Ow." She said, covering it, hoping to make then pain stop.

"ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR TINY VAMPIRE MIND!" Shaeman shouted. Caleb spoke in the same calm voice he always used.
"There is no mistaking the signs, and the shouting was pointless."

Violet fell over with an yelp. "Holy cow. What was with the shouting." She asked, sitting back up. She pulled her wand out and placed a sobering charm over herself.

"You have got to be kidding me." Shaeman hissed at Caleb, his silvery eyes narrowed. The shadows around Caleb started to rise and take form, causing Shaeman to back away in fear until they dissolved.
"I "kid" you not."

"Shaeman." Violet whispered, walking to him. "Whats the matter?" She asked in a whisper.

"Caleb said that Kar isn't dead." Shaeman replied in a low tone.

Violet swallowed. "Thats a lie. I saw him. I knew he was dead when the ring he gave me fell off." Violet said. "He is dead, dead like....a bug being feed to a bird." She said. "And who is Caleb?" She asked, still rubbing her mark.

"I present myself as Caleb von Neckrark." Caleb said calmly.

Violet backed up a little. "Ok..." She said, looking at Shaeman. "Can you make it stop. My father made this one perment." She said, blowing on it to keep it from burning.

"Love to help, but there's a huge problem in the demon end of things here. I need to call up all the demons I know." Shaeman said.

Violet nodded, rubbing her mark more. "I'm going to kill him." She mumbled, sitting down. Looking back at Caleb, she asked. "What are you?"

"I am death and the shadows in human form, I am what people most fear." Caleb replied.

"Dont look scary to me." Violet mumbled, whimpering a bit as she felt another wave of pain go threw her arm. "AM NOT COMING FATHER! SO YOU MIGHT AS WELL STOP IT!" She yelled, looking at the school.

"You would do well to fear me." Cameb replied.

"Oh I'm scared." Violet said sarcasticly, standing up. Her father must have heard her becuase her mark stopped burning.

Caleb looked at Violet, his pure black eyes showing under the shadow of his hood.
"I am Caleb von Neckrark, half demon, half Vampire. I control death and the shadows. You would do well to fear me."

"I am Violet Alyssa Riddle. You will do well as to back up out of my face, cause I'm a witch. You will do well to fear me if my father comes out here." She mocked,crossing her arms over her chest.

"You fear your father to much and he feels no emotion for you. Who are you to tell me not to fear?" Caleb replied in the same calm voice.

"I never said I didnt fear my father did I?" She asked. Violet turned around, walking back towards the school. "If you coming, come on." She said, turning back towards the school

The two boys followed, Caleb standing in the shadows where possible.

Violet walked into the school, looking at Shaeman. "What now? Go and find Shadow? Thats going to be impossible." She said.

"I need to find her anyway." Shaeman said, his brow creasing with worry.

"Come on." Violet said, grabbing his hand and running up the stairs.

The two boys followed again, one keeping to the shadows, one running alongside Violet.

Violet ran into the hospital wing. "Father, can we talk?" She asked.

Shaeman ran in beside her while Caleb walked in with dignity.

Voldemort glared, walking forward. "Why would you need to talk to me? I'm not handing her over. How many times do I have to tell you! CLOSE YOUR MIND!" He said, grabbing her by the arm and pulling it behind her back. Violet tried to move but couldnt.

Shaeman leapt at Voldemort.
"LEAVE HER ALONE!" He roared.

"Shaeman!" Violet yelled, kicking her leg out to kick Shaeman. "I got this." She said, her amr being jerked up futher up her back. Violt winced, looking at her father. "Look, just let her go." Violet said, trying to move again.

Shaeman ran over to the sphere holding Shadow and attempted to break it.

"Stop it." Voldemort sneered, pulling his wand out. "We can make a trade. Violet or Shadow." He said, holding the wand to Violet. "Here is how it goes. If you want Shadow, you get your sister and never see Violet again. Like wise if you want Violet." He said, smirking.

Shaeman stood, fixed to the spot, his eyes wide with fear.
"How about the negociation with me?" Caleb said from the shadows. An aura of fear surrounded him like with dementors.

"No. Take you pick. Her or your sister." She said. Violet looked at Shaeman, shaking her head. "You can leave me, get Shadow." Violet mumbled.

Shaeman looked at Shadow, who inclined her head to him.
"I choose Violet." He said.

"No! Shadow. Take Shadow." Violet said, trying to move her arms from her father.

"No, I chose you." Shaeman said firmly.
