Hogwarts Graduates- The Final Day of Hogwarts

"......Zeth Zymbler," Professor McGonagal called, and Zeth accepted his award, "Well, thats everyone. Goodbye and good luck students, you have a few hours before the Hogwarts Express arrives....make the most of it."
Graduation day. Holly would never have thought seven years ago that on this day she would be happily accepting her scroll for McGonagal along with everyone else. She assumed she would be expelled before then.
"Last day Georgie," Holly stroked her monkey, "Y'gonna miss it here?"
"Yes," George said sadly, "Very much. Mostly the people though....where are we going to go now?"
Holly sighed.
"I dunno," she said uncomfortably.
The seventeen year old skimmed a flat rock into the black lake, wondering.

Shadow grinned slyly.
You'd be surprised to know that a little wolf tends to follow you around."

Holly snorted.
"Which one?" she asked looking from Shadow to Archangel, "I know several."

"You'd notice me. Archangel and Oyx have been wandering around the school. Mcgonnagle keeps an eye on them for me." Shadow said.

"Ah," Holly said grinning, "I see. Been watching me have ya kid?"

Archangel smiled slyly as well.
"Me and Onyx have. We keep an eye on you.."

Hollly smiled, amused.
"Fair enough," she said, "But I am seventeen. Nothing been too inappropriate for you?"

"Thankfully nothing to traumatise the children." Shadow said.

"Oh good," Holly said happily, "Wouldnt want to traumatise 'em...."

"No... and if you did you'd have to answer to me." Shadow said.

Holly nodded solemly.
"Yes sir," she said seriously.

Shadow smiled and shook her head.

Holly grinned.
"So, you gonna come to Hogwarts eventually kid?" she asked Archangel.

Archangel nodded with a big grin.

"You had better not get into HALF the trouble we did," Holly warned, "Or just me...."

Archangel smiled sweetly and Shadow groaned.
"Did you have to make that sound like a challenge?"

"Sorry," Holly said laughing, "Nah she looks sweet and innocent. But then again so do I ..."

"Archangel... I wish she'd been like her name." Shadow said.

Holly laughed.
"Luck of the draw. Aw well.... you getting married to Jims? Imagine that ...."

Shadow smiled, showing Holly the ring on her finger.

"You-" Holly almost swore but stopped herself, "You lucky person.....its goregous...You've put me in a bad mood now."
But she laughed.

Shadow smiled again.
"But what's this Archangel has told me about you and Matthew?"

Holly snorted lightly.
"I dunno to be honest. Kinda goin out and such. But I dunno if hes ...." She trailed off and shrugged.
"Serious or not." she finished.

"I don't know I'm afraid, but keep working on it." Shadow said.

Holly nodded.
"It'd be cool if I was a demon like you. It would be awesome to be able to "scan" people....so useful..."

"It's not just a thing for demons. But it's just easier for us." Shadow said.

"Mm," Holly said, "If I get a moment in my new life I may well try and learn how to do that."

Shadow smiled.
'Just, don't try to do anything stupid if you manage. You'll land yourself in St Mungos, and I'll probably have to restore your sanity."

"You've done it before," Holly reminded her, "Several times actually...."

"I know, but let's try to leave it there." Shadow said.

Holly nodded.
"I like that idea. And I wouldnt do anything stoopid with it. Just look into Matt's head, read his thoughts and if necessary change them....im kidding dont worry."

Shadow looked at Holly with one eye open.
"I hope you are."

"Yeah," Holly said, with shifting eyes, "Course I am......race you to that tree! NO MAGIC!"

Shadow shook her head, but Archangel was already sprinting off.
"ARCHANGEL!" Shadow shouted, giving chase.

"Haha, the kid reminds me of you!" Holly yelled, and ran after her.

Shadow growled, morphing into a wolf in mid flight, Archangel doing the same and speeding off.

"OKAY THAT JUST AINT FAIR!" Holly whined, "Racoon's suck at running!"
And she morphed too.

The big wolf caught up with the cub, grabbing it by the scruff of the neck in her teeth, but then continued running until she reached the tree where she sat down, putting the cub down as well and keeping a paw firmly on her tail.

The racoon narrowed its eyes and muttered something, before changing back into Holly.
"Whatever, I would have won if it weren't for these shoes..."
She looked down at her running shoes.

Shadow shook her head and the pair morphed back.

"Teachnically I won," Holly said, though it made no sense.

"Er no!" Archangel said, offended.
"Peace, Arc, you need to stop being so competitive."

"Yeah Arc," Holly said sticking her tongue out at the girl.

Archangel stuck her tongue out in retaliation.
"Archangel, enough." Shadow snapped. Archangel bowed her head.

Holly smiled and sat on the grass next to them.
"I dont think I'll ever grow up," she said thoughtfully.

"No, I don't think so either." Shadow said.

Holly laughed.
"Nah being a kid is too much fun," Holly decided, and lay down on the grass.

"It depends." Archangel said.

"On what kinda childhood y'get?" Holly guessed.

"Well, I don't like the school part." Archangel said.

Holly cocked her head to one side, sussing her out.
"I thought I didnt." she said, "Turns out ... I pretty much loved it."
