The End of Hogwarts.

Shadow stood on one of the ruined towers, looking at the dust falling to the ground. She looked up at the night sky, watching the stars coming out. People were slowly coming out of the Forbidden Forest, shaken at having been inside the school as it started to collapse around them.

Raven looked up at the sky, judging the time.

Hayley was also wondering the time, and looked at her wrist, where her watch normally was, but it had been lost during the kerfuffle earlier. "Do you know the time?" she asked Raven.

Raven nodded.
"About nine o'clock." She said quietly.

Hayley pulled her cloak around her shoulders as the night air got chillier. "I wish...I wish none of this ever happened," she said quietly, thinking of the school, and all her friends.

Raven nodded.
"If only Shadow had remembered to meditate."

Hayley stayed silent.

Raven looked up again, trying to find answers.
"People always said that the stars held answers..."

Hayley half-smiled, "I never really got Astronomy," she said, also looking at the night sky.

"Shadow could read the answers up there..." Raven said.

Again Hayley was silent. "She was super smart," she said after a while.

"She spent most of her time with books." Raven replied.

Hayley half-laughed, "Books are good things," she said, thinking of all the books she had read. "But she used them for good, like...information books. I just read stupid fantasy novels," she said, grinning slightly.

Holly nearly smiled, but then remembered Riley and Shadow and stopped, keeping her eyes down.
"I reckon we should take her with us," she said stopping quite suddenly, "Shadow I mean."
She took out her wand, cleared her throat and said "Accio Shadow". Shadow's body zoomed towards them and Holly let her land softly on the ground.

Raven turned her head to look away from her sister, not wanting to see what hse had done.

Jamie smiled weakly

"I don't know what you're smiling at." Raven snapped at Jamie.

Hayley looked away from Shadow's body. "Hmm," she said, agreeing with Holly.

An icy hand reached for the dagger still in her chest, pulling it out with a sharp tug. Shadow's Violet eyes opened, blinked and looked around her.

Hayley frowned, and blinked rapidly, "Whoa, what just happened?" she asked, hardly daring to hope.

Shadow groaned silently, putting a hand to her head.

Hayley opened her mouth wide, before kneeling down beside Shadow, "Sh- Shadow?" she asked quietly.

Shadow looked up at Haley and smiled her hello, even though she was a bit confused.

Hayley's eyes widened, and she gasped, "Oh God!" she cried, "Shadow! What...how the- Are you okay?" she asked, grinning in disbelief.

Shadow nodded slowly, rubbing her head.
Just a headache, but that's normal... Shadow signed to Hayley.

"But...you were dead!" Hayley cried, shaking her head.

Raven knows the tricks to stop the Senate coming after me. But I don't think she was expecting me to wake up now. Shadow signed, and Raven shook her head.

Hayley frowned, not fully understanding what Shadow meant. "Well, you're alive now, and thank God,"she said, grinning, "I think Holly might have done something stupid, if she had to live without you for much longer."

Shadow noticed that Haley didn't understand and signed rapidly to Raven, who translated.
"When I 'killed' Shadow, she was healing herself, and already in a death like state, therefore, she just healed the stab wound as well."

Hayley nodded, "I get it," she said, "That was lucky," she added, grinning.

Shadow nodded, getting to her feet and brushing the dirt off her cloak.

Hayley stood up also. "What now?" she asked, looking at the sky.

Shadow and Raven shrugged.

Hayley sighed. "This sucks," she said quietly.

The twins nodded, not speaking.

"I wonder where we'll go now," Hayley said absent-mindedly.

Raven looked at Shadow, and Shadow looked at Raven, planning in their linked minds.

Hayley's brow furrowed, "Are you guys planning?" she asked hopefully.

Raven nodded slightly, frowning and concentrating.

"Any ideas?" Hayley asked, frowning.

Raven's eyes widened.
"ARE YOU COMPLETELY OUT OF YOUR MIND!?" She yelled.
Shadow shook her head.
"Please tell me your joking..."
Shadow shook her head again.

Hayley jumped back when Raven yelled, her eyes wide.

"Someone get me a wall to bang my head off." Raven groaned. Shadow shook her head, smiling slightly.

Holly, who had been speechless for the past little while, moved toward Shadow, a kind of half frown on her face.
"Dont do that again please," she said smiling a little.

Shadow smiled slowly at her friend.
I don't plan to. She signed.

"So," said Hayley, twiddling her hair, "What's the plan?"

"One that isn't going to work." Raven interrupted just as Shadow was raising her hands to explain.

Hayley frowned, and her brow furrowed, "Any ideas you can agree on?" she asked.

Shadow and Raven shook their heads.

"Any ideas you don't agree on?" Hayley asked hopefully, "Any ideas at all?"

The pair nodded, but Raven looked adamant that it wouldn't work.
