The Heart of the Forbidden Forest.

Shadow into the forest, running as fast as she could. The night was cold around her, but she didn't care. It was coming, and she could feel it. She had to get away from the school. She couldn't bear it if something happened and it was her fault. Her feet pounded on the mosy ground and she hurtled over fallen trees. She was nearly there, nearly there...

Shadow had, in fact, curled up under a tree and was dozing quietly.

"Awww....." Holly said smiling, "So cute...."
"Im back," Riley said returning.
"Flies down," Holly said without looking at him.
"Be riiiight back," Riley said giving Holly a thumbs up.

"Really Riley....you are such a clutz," said Natalie, grinning slightly.
She gave him a little push.

"I know hes a nerd, "Holly said absently looking up at the castle, "We had better be getting back...."
She leaned down and blew lightly in Shadow's face.
"Dude..."

Shadow opened one eye tiredly and sighed.
"What?"

"We're going back to school," said Natalei quietly to Shadow.
She put out a hand to help Shadow up.

Shadow nodded and accepted the hand, standing up somewhat shakily.

Natalie looked at Shadow.
"You can lean on my shoulder if you want," said Natalie, smiling at Shadow.

"Alright?" Holly asked as Riley joined them.
"What'd I miss?" he asked rubbing his hands together.
"We're going back to sch- what the hell-?"
Holly stepped forward to look at Riley properly.
Since they had last seen him, Riley's eyes had become a lot more sunken. And if Holly's eyesight wasnt tricking her....his pupils were red.
"Ri....?"
"What?" Riley asked.

"Oh my gosh," Natalie whispered, "what the hell happened to your eyes dude?"
She took at step forward to look at Riley.

"What?" Riley repeated again, but his eyes were not filled with concern. They just weren't filled with anything at all.
"Dude...." Holly said slowly.
"For God's sake what?" Riley snapped.
Holly ignored him and turned to Natalie and Shadow.
"How can you tell if someone's being possessed?" she asked in a whisper.

"I can sense it." Shadow said simply.

Natalie looked at Riley, then had a sudden though.
She reached into her bag, and took out Chucky.
"What?!" she Chucky.
"What colour did this dolls eyes used to be before you went into it?" Natalie asked urgently.
"Brown...I think...why?" Chucky asked irritably.
"Oh crap," said Natalie, for the dolls eyes were the brightest blue.

Riley was staring straight ahead, as if watching something.
Suddenly he started to walk, but after a few paces, he turned stiffly and said, "Why arent you following me?"
"And can you sense it?" Holly asked Shadow.
"Why arent you following me?" Riley repeated.
"Shut up Ri!" Holly yelled.

"That is one possessed boy," said Chucky, pointing to Riley, "and I, as well as the kid would know."
Natalie assumed that he was refering to Shadow when her said, 'the kid.'

"He's possessed?" Holly repeated, face white, "What do we do?"
"Follow me." Riley said softly, "Holly...."
Holly turned, spine tingling.

"DON'T FOLLOW HIM!" yelled Natalie, seeing into Riley's mind and where he was taking Holly.
She grabbed Holly's hand.
"DON'T LISTEN! THAT ISN'T REALLY RILEY TALKING HOLLY!"

Shadow had indeed sensed the possession, and stood her ground.
"Who are you?" She demanded of Riley.

Natalie brought Holly to the side.
"Just let Shadow deal with it," she said to Holly.

Riley seemed to think for a moment and then said, "Farthing. Riley Farthing."
Holly stared at him.
"We mean your possesed form Jack A-"
"Riley Farthing." Riley repeated more clearly.

Chucky looked at Riley with the weirdest expression.
"Ok...he's seriously being weird now."
"Chucky! The boy is POSSESSED!! said Natalie loudly.
"I know...but weirdly," said Chucky.

"You are not Riley Farthing. Who are you." Shadow said clearly.

"Yeah...who are you?" Natalie asked clearly.
Chucky watched, open mouthed.

Riley looked from Natalie, to Shadow, to Holly and then back again, turned on his heel and walked away.
"Weird." Holly commented.

Shadow teleported in front of Riley.
"I am Shadow Roth, princess of darkness. I demand to know who you are!"

"I know who you are," Riley said smiling slightly, "You work for me...."
"YOU WORK FOR HIM?" Holly repeated approaching.

Natalie apparated to Riley.
"And I'm am Natalie Patterson, Vampire....whatever."

"Hang on a tick, that could mean several things. Either Voldemort's after me again, or Kar found a way around the seal." Shadow said. "I asked WHO are you."

"And I said Riley Farthing," Riley repeated, the same distant smile on his face. After a moment he drew out his wand. "Get out of my way or I will hex you."

Natalie did not move.
"No," she said, frowning at him.

"Hew any of us and I swear it will not be pleasant for you." Shadow warned, allowing her magic to crackle in the air around her. "We know that you are not Riley, and I demand to know who you really are!"

Riley (or whoever the hell he was) smiled broadly.
"I'm sure it wouldnt." he said, "Alright....you've caught me out. I am this "Riley" kid on the outside. It's Voldemort. You miss me?"

"Oh yeah, about as much as I could miss a man who looks like a snake and pesters you like a four year old brother." Shadow said sarcastically.

"But you wouldnt miss a snake faced....ooooh...." Holly said, "I just got that."

"Holly, if you can't keep up, don't open your mouth." Shadow said before turning her attention back to Riley/Voldemort.

Natalie looked at Voldemort.
"What do you want now...I was having fun..." said Natalie irritably.

"Somebody's time of the month," Holly concealed in a cough, convieniently forgetting everything she had learned about demon ways.

Riley smiled slightly.
"I have no particular reason for taking on this form....but its more fun to kill him afterwards, anyway - It has come to my attention that my last two recruits arent so...... dedicated. And so I have decided to kill you both. My apologies."

Holly stared.
"Its weird hearing him talk like that....." she commented.

Natalie stood in front of Holly and Shadow.
"You want to kill them, you'll have to get past me first," hissed Natalie.

"Or me.... but you would never kill me. DAMMIT! I keep forgetting you are Voldy!" Holly said smacking her forhead.
"You are such an idiot." Voldemort said silkily, "Stupid....stupid....stupid- AVADA KEDAVRA!"
A bolt of green light hit Holly and she fell to the ground.

"HOLLY!" Natalie yelled, tears streaming down her face.
Natalie panicked.
She looked at Chucky.
"What do I do?" she asked.
"GET SOMETHING TO PUT HER SOUL INTO!" Chucky yelled.
"What?!" Natalie asked.
"ANYTHING! THEN GIVE ME MY AMULET SO THAT I CAN DO THE CHANT!" Chucky yelled, "just temporarily so that then we can put her soul back into her body with that spell that chic Phoenix did."

Natalie looked around her.
She took out of her bag the china doll her grandmother gave her before she died.

Natalie handed Chucky the heart of dambella.

"Ade due dambella, give me the power I beg of you. La ver boisette du acheteu, la couv ventaya mai poi damorte, mello depacorte la verb boisette, undalay porta boisette dambella....AWAKE!" Chucky did the chant, the amulet held aloft.

Chucky and Natalie held their breathe and waited.

((Did you put holly's soul into the doll or did you bring holly back to life??))

((Put Holly's soul into the doll until we get the spell to put her back into her body))

Shadow had seen this and was furious. She charged towards Voldemort, her magic surrounding her.
"Oh you picked the wrong day to mess with me." She growled.

Natalie told Chucky to stay with Holly and the doll, then went to help Shadow with Voldemort.

"Nat, stay with Holly." Shadow ordered.

Natalie did as she was told, and went back to stand tall beside Chucky.
"Um..." she said, looking at Shadow fighting Voldemort.

"The wrong day have I .....?" Voldemort said silkily, "Well that simply wont do......avada kedavra!"

Meanwhile, Holly's body lay sprawled on the ground. .... while apparently her soul was in some doll. Yeah. I know. Weird.

Natalie looked happy as the killing curse just missed Shadow.
She looked back to her grandmothers doll.
"Did it work?" she asked Chucky.
"Um....hold on....AWAKE!" Chucky said again, looking at the doll on the ground.
"What a croc..." he said quietly.
"WHAT THE HELL IS THAT SUPPOSED TO MEAN!" Natalie yelled.

"It may not have worked...I mean...went this happened and I put Tiffany's soul into her doll body, it didn't work for a minute...and then, she...um....punched me in the face...so I knew it had worked...so sometimes it just takes a minute for the soul to catch on that it's still with us...or else she's just dead and this was all a waste of time..." said Chucky.

Natalie watched and waited.

"And then," Chucky began again, "when we get her body back some-place safe....we can retransfere her soul into it."

"Why didn't we just do that now?" Natalie asked.

"Because she's safer like this for now....that dude may try to kill her again if she's human right away." explained Chucky as though it were obvious.

This was a very clever plan, thought Voldemort, but it like totally messed up his schedule.
"That idea sucks," he said, and after sending a few more badly aimed killing curses at Shadow, disapparated, taking Holly's body with him.

"NO!" Natalie screamed, "CRAP!"

"Chillax Nat," said Chucky, "we simply need to find her a new body...but first," he walked up to the china doll, "DID THE BLOODY CHANT WORK! ARE YOU IN THERE HOLLY! GIVE US A SIGN IF YOU ARE!"

"Or go after Voldy," Natalie said, "that is our possibilities....Holly...if she is in there....will need to decide which she wants to do."
