The Heart of the Forbidden Forest.

Shadow into the forest, running as fast as she could. The night was cold around her, but she didn't care. It was coming, and she could feel it. She had to get away from the school. She couldn't bear it if something happened and it was her fault. Her feet pounded on the mosy ground and she hurtled over fallen trees. She was nearly there, nearly there...

"Ow," Riley moaned half heartedly, "I think maybe I need mouth to mouth,"
Holly snorted. "Smooth mate, but Hayley isnt falling for it."
"Jezuz I meant......oh I give up."
Holly laughed.
"Everyone's fine," she said nodding and picking up George who was cowering on the ground.

NAtalie did not calm down.
Instead...she screamed VERY loudly and jumped on the werewolf.
The next few movements were done faster than that of a cat.
Natalie latched herself onto the neck of the werewolf and began to drink it's blood.
It tasted...pretty good...

Hayley grimaced, and looked at Holly, her eyes quite wide.
The sight of one of her friends drinking blood, was quite sickening.
Blueberry crawled into Hayley's robes, frightened.
Hayley turned away.
She swallowed, and fiddled with her hair, unsure of what to do.

NAtalie did not stop...
She was clearly out of control as the werewolf was screaming and begging for mercy...
But she couldn't stop herself...
She couldn't....
It tasted too good...

Hayley opened her mouth, trying to speak.
She lunged at Natalie, pulling her off the now unconscious werewolf.
Gently she stunned her, and looked at Holly.
"What on Earth just happened?" she asked.
She pointed her wand at the werewolf, and it was dead.

Natalie went into a sort of coma.
She was completely knocked out.
But she writhed in pain on the floor.
Vision after vision poored from her mind.
She was falling...falling deeper and deeper into sleep.
Deeper and deeper...
Yet it was nothing to do with being stunned.

"Well Hayley, I think Natalie is drunk," Holly said stupidly, which made George thump her.
"OI!"
"Natalie...." Riley said softly, "Can you hear us? DAMMIT WOMAN WE ARE LOOSING PRECIOUS TIME!"
"Ri...calm down....Nat....NAT?"
"I think shes fainted," GEorge said wisely, which cause everyone to stare at him.
"Well done G," Holly said sarcastically.

Natalie did not wake up.
She just lay there, writhing in pain.
She couldn't wake up...
She couldn't grasp consciousness
She couldn't...
She...

Holly made for Natalie's side.
Riley followed.
George followed Riley.
The three of them knelt there, speaking random words to try and console Natalie.
Nothing worked.
They sunk against the floor.

Natalie did not wake.
The writhing stopped but the visions continued.
Wave after wave a despair swept through Natalie.
The darkness was eating her up.
It filled her heart and her mind...

Holly felt drained, empty.
Riley felt tired, weary.
George felt sad, worried.
"What shall we do?" he whispered.
"I dont know," Holly whispered back.

Natalie lay still, breathing fast and uneven.
Her eyes were open, and glazed, yet she was unconcious.
Then she screamed, so loudly the walls trembled.
She began to shiver, though she was not cold.
She couldn't feel anything right now...

Hayley's eyes were wide, and she sat for moments, that seemed like hours.
Staring at Natalie.
She snapped. "Holly!" she said, suddenly, "Hospital wing!" she levitated Natalie gently with her wand.
Blueberry patted George gently on the shoulder.
Natalie was pale, and looked haunted.

Natalie could not feel any part of her...
For all she knew...all was lost...hopeless....dead...
Gone forever....
And ever...
And ever...
And ever...

"No, no, no," Hayley muttered.
Leahna appeared suddenly, "Hyley, what happened to her?" she asked, as she bent down, her wand out.
"I don't know!" Hayley said, her hands flapping, "SHe attacked the werewolf, then...she..and...coma!" she stuttered.
Leahna looked at Natalie, and after a few seconds, she lifted off the ground, Leahna waving her wand in strange movements, chanting under her breath.

"Okay Leah or whatever your name is, must you appear at every-"
Riley nudged Holly and pointed to Leahna.
"Look what shes doing..."
"YOu think it will help?"
"I hope so...."
Holly nodded.

Natalie screamed again and began to shake as an elecric shock like feeling ran through her body.
She fell deeper...
Nothing was going to catch her...
She was dying...
Everything was dead...
Gone...
Gone forever...

"Nat....?" Holly asked softly, falling to her side again.
Riley joined her and the two watched, a little scared.
"Please wake up nerdalie...." Holly said, "For me?"
There was a moment of silence and then.
"For me?"

Hayley knelt down, her hand over her mouth.
"Leahna..." she said, looking at her worriedly.
Leahna frowned, and muttered more frustratedly, whipping her wand around Natalie's body.
Hayley bit her lip.
Suddenly, Leahna dropped her wand, and put her head in her hands.
"I can do no more. Whether she wakes up, is up to her spirit," she said.
Hayley bit her lip, not aware she was drawing blood, "Oh Nat..." she said.

Holly looked sadly from Leahna to Hayley and back again.
"Cant you do anything?" Holly asked Leahna, horridness gone.
Riley bit his lip too and gently eased Hayley's tooth off of her lip.
"You were drawing blood," he explained quietly.
They stayed silent for the longest time.

Natalie began to breathe heavily again, and tears began rolling down her pale face, mixing with sweat and dirt.
Then, all of a sudden, her eye's clicked open.
She looked around.
"wh-what happen?" she stammered, shivering
She looked at the blood on the floor.

Holly stared at Natalie.
"Sorry I thought you were dead!" she said.
"Me too," Riley said smiling.
"And I," George said, "FOr sures."
"WELL IM NOT!" Darren said.
Who was Darren? Your guess is as good as mine.

Hayley landed on the ground with a thud. She held her broom tightly in one hand, her wand in the other. They weren't here. They would be soon....

Holly strolled int othe forbidden forest. "Hi..." she muttered to Hayley.

Shadow walked into the forest, the hood on her cloak pulled low over her face. As she entered the darkness of the trees, she pulled it down, shaking her black hair out of the confines of the material, pulling it into a high ponytail as she liked to keep it. Somewhere, a low whinny greeted her, and the demoness smiled.
"Hi there Merlas," She murmured to the black pegasus that had just appeared through the dark, sedately chewing on a few blades of grass. Shadow rubbed the mare's nose, deep in thought.
"Do you miss them Merlas?" She asked the mare, "Can you forget them?" The mare snorted, shaking her mane. "Me neither..."
