The Heart of the Forbidden Forest.

Shadow into the forest, running as fast as she could. The night was cold around her, but she didn't care. It was coming, and she could feel it. She had to get away from the school. She couldn't bear it if something happened and it was her fault. Her feet pounded on the mosy ground and she hurtled over fallen trees. She was nearly there, nearly there...

Riley smiled back which made Holly want to throw something. How mature of her. She was very mature.

Natalie frowned, as she know Holly would not approve of smiling around Riley, then continued to hex the hands until they let go a Hayley.

"Oh good," Riley said sighing with relief, "We make a good team."
"Yeah. Great team," Holly said, "Lets go!"

"Um...no offense Riley...but the only team I do is the Holly/Shadow/Nat team..." NAtalie sighed.
She winked at Holly.

Holly stared at her. Riley stared at her.
"DONT BE MEAN TO MY MAN!" Holly yelled.
Riley began to cry.
"Dont cry Ri,"

Alice took a deep breath "um so" she said trying to move the conversation.

"Yes?" Hollly asked, as if she had done nothing out of the ordinary.
"What is the problem?" Riley asked Englishly.

"I forgot sorry i was going to tell you something inportant but for some reason it eascaped my mind its quite wierd actully!" Alice rambled on.

"Jona over here" Alice said as she waved rto her "you can run really fast but yet you refuse to walk over here" Alice walked over to her and sat down "If a person with a prefect badge comes its not my fault and i'm not Alice k" she whispered to her but giggled in the middle.

"um that depends did you fight for it was a real fun time catching it ?" Alice asked looking at her.

"well if it was a real fight it was stollen and food always taste better when its stolen yep" Alice said with a smile.

"ok then I'll take a little dark meat. hey you know what i just relized is that ive known you for 150 years and i never new how you became a vampire" Alice said shoving her face into the leg.

"so then what happened if you were human how are you a vampire now wait is this to personal nevermind i shouldnt have asked" Alice said without a smile.

Natalie frowned slightly, but continued to lead on the little prosession.
"Come on guys," she said, irritated.

Alice picked up her head to see Nattily leading everyone probibly towards school. Alice glanced a smile at her but did not move from her spot.

"Thanks for getting whatever that was off my leg Nat," Hayley said to Nat, rubbing her leg.

"No problem....hurry up now..." said Natalie.

She was thinking about her muggle pen-friend Samantha, who had recently received a place at Cackles Academy for witches.....so she was not a muggle after all.

Hayley narrowed her eyes, and looked at Natalie, "Is everything alright?" she asked.

"Or does everything suck?" holly asked nodding as if she understood. She didnt of course, but dont TELL people!

"No...I'm just thinking of Sam...going to Cackles this Autumn," said Natalie, grinning.
She was happy for her friend...it was just a pity she wasn't coming to Hogwarts.

Hayley frowned, and patted Natalie on the shoulder, "You'll still se her," she said encouragingly, "Plus, you'll have us," she added, hoping this was a bit of a consolation.

"No...I've never met her...she's been my penfriend since we were like, nine, and she was always telling me about the weird things she could do and I though it was strange because I could do weird things too...then when I came to Hogwarts....I knew what I was....but I was wondering why Sam never got here...and then I read about Cackles and found out you have to be older before you went there...and now she's going there....I guess I always thought we'd meet at Hogwarts is all," said Natalie, shrugging.

"Weird, "Holly commented.
"Not really," George said poking his eyes back in, "Most monkey's can do it."
"Cool." Holly said.
"Not really."

"Um..." said Natalie, staring at George, "That was odd..."
Nitwit....Oddment....Blubber....Tweek!

Holly stared at Natalie's thoughts.
George wrinkled his nose in puzzlement.
"Weird," they commented in unison.
"Not really."

"Exactly," said Natalie absently.
She was having a vision about Dumbledore....his speech on the year that Harry Potter came to Hogwarts.

Holly laughed.
"I remember our first year," she said, "It was....alright wasnt it? I was a little worse behaved than I am now."

"I remember..." said Natalie frowning, "I remember being scared of Snape..."
She smiled.
"And I remember thinking how amazing all this was."

"Ummmm you are STILL scared of Snape," Holly reminded her, "And its STILL amazing. You are amazing. HOGWARTS is amazing!"
"Im amazing?" George said tentively.
"Yes of course."
"YAY!"

"I'm not scared of Snape....he just reminds me of a bat is all," said Natalie.
She smiled.
"And yes...this is amazing..."

Hayley nodded, grinning, "He is very batlike..." she said, imagining Snape hanging upside down on a tree.

((OMG, I was in the outlet today, and i was looking at this book of baby name, and one of them was Eroll (like the owl) and it said, "Origin Unknown, meaning 'wanderer,' Isn't that wierd, cause Eroll is always 'wandering' and smashing into windows and such lol. JK is such a legend.))

Holly laughed at the thought.
She then got out of Hayley's thoughts and into her own. Aaaah Riley. Ri.LEY.

She laughed at this too.

Natalie smiled at Holly.
She wandered into her own mind....ah Gareth....a Hogwarts; a history.

Shadow watched her friends silently from high up in a tree, making sure that they were ok while keeping her mind firmly blocked against all tracking and communication. She didn't want them to know that she was there. It would most probably lead to awkward questions.

Natalie soldiered on, leading the group through the dark forest....yet she felt safe....almost protected in some way...and she was glad of that feeling.

Hayley shivered, and frowned. She looked at Natalie, "Is it just me...or does anyone else feel particularly safe....and calm?"

"Yes...I feel oddly safe too...." said Natalie, smiling slightly at Hayley.
Natalie continued walking.

Hayley followed Natalie, smiling slightly. "I love Hogwarts," she said, smiling absent-mindedly.
Suddenly, Hayley gave a loud cry of joy. A tall, gold-haired girl was standing against an oak-tree. The girl smiled strangely, and put her arms out. "Hayley," she said slowly. Hayley grinned and went to hug the girl, talking quickly to her as she did so.
If any muggle had seen this girl, they would have thought they were going mad. She was pale, and tall, with long gold hair, and was wearing robes of black, embroidered with green and gold. She was quite skinny, and because of her height, she looked quite comical. Hayley let go of the girl, and turned to Natalie. "This is Leahna," she said, smiling, "She's um...like...a half-breed, but I'm not sure what of. I've known her for a long time, and I never imagined she'd come here," she grinned at Leahna again. "She's...well, eighteen as far as I know, but about about two-hundred in..her other breed years."
Leahna nodded at Natalie, bowing slightly as she did so.

"Who are you?" Holly asked. She hadnt listened to Hayley's explanation.
"You know who I am? I aint tellin' ya, ya should know."
She crossed her arms and Riley nudged her.
"Be nice." he said.
"Meh,"

"Hello Leahna..." said Natalie, smiling at the new comer, "I'm Natalie Patterson...vampiress....fifth year at Hogwarts....I was only created about four month ago....you know...to be the way that I am...." said Natalie smiling.
She held out her hand for Leahna to shake. She also handed the girl a blood pop.
"You looked a little too pale...." she explained.

Leahna smiled slightly, taking the blood pop from Natalie. "Thankyou," she said. Hayley grinned, and looked at Holly and Riley, "Dudes. Leahna, eighteen, half-breed...weren't you listening?"
Leahna eyed Holly with a furrowed brow. "Holliya Katalynn Bristol. Fifteen. Orphaned by Lord Voldemort." Hayley frowned and nudged Leahna.

Holly raised her eyebrows at the new girl.
"You've been doing your reading then....." she muttered, unable to think of a better comeback, "Why are you here anyway?"
"Holliya," Riley warned, "She is a new kid to the group, be pleasant and she will be too."
"Rilliya," Holly said but then stopped, "Whoops that came out wrong."

Leahna smiled, "I didn't read it Holly. I know it. I can see your mind. Not intentionally- I cannot help it."
Hayley nodded, "And she's here to learn stuff. Y'know...that's what you do when you go to school," She looked at Holly, "Duh,"

Natalie smiled.
"If you are here for a while, I can show you around the school if you like," said Natalie, smiling at Leahna.

((I love that name!)

Holly decided she was going to call the new girl "Lehna" cause it sounded worse.
"Ooh learning." Holly said non enthusiastically, "Awesomeness in a jar huh?"
Riley gave up and sighed lightly.
"I think I'll take this one back up to the school," he said supporting Holly again, who was still slightly ... concussed if that's the word.
