The posts can begin on Saturday 8th March - not before!
and will end on Wednesday 12th March - 5 days of rpg posting!

When you post - please put your position and team (eg. Gryffindor Beater) in brackets before you begin the RPG post - otherwise your post will be void of any points!

Remember to observe the new Quidditch rules: day one is for arriving to the pitch, after which the referee will post and the game can properly begin and chasers can no longer immediately state that they have scored. They must wait for the Keeper to post. See this post for more info.

(Slytherin Chaser)

Dorothy walked on the pitch, already in her slytherin quidditch robes, firebolt in hand. She was slightly tired, for she had not been able to sleep the night before for going over the different strategies and possible fouls for a chaser. "Blagging, Blatching, Blurting, Stooging..." Dorothy looked up and realised she was the first one at the pitch. "Oh, great." Dorothy said. "I hope the others get here soon." Dorothy's nerves prevented her from staying still. Walking up and down to release some of her pent-up energy, she waited for some other players to arrive.

(Slytherin Chaser)

Shadow strode onto the pitch, firebolt in hand, her new green and silver robes billowing out behind her. She glanced around quickly and spotted Dorothy. Nodding in acknowledgment, she mounted her broom and proceeded to fly a few warm up laps of the pitch, reciting all the quidditch rules in her head. Shadow was nervous about the match, having not played properly before, and was also afraid of making a complete prat of herself. Pushing these thoughts to that back of her mind, she continued her warm up.

(Slytherin Keeper and Captain)

Raistlin stormed over to the pitch to confirm his suspicions. Yes, two naughty Slytherins had come without his consent and even though he admired boldness there would be something talking to do later.

Only Slytherins were there yet "Good, let's hope Ravenclaw has not had the time to re-group yet." Mounting his broom he quickly flew into his goal posts. Adjusting himself and his clothes on the broom to make sure he had percfect mobility he surveyed the field with a piercing look "First game of the year to Slytherin, if we do well we might change our luck, I will not bear another term like the last one."

Raistlin was needing a rush of adreneline so he started flying around the hoops faster and faster while making several Sloth Grip Rolls, blood pumping into his head. When he felt more awakened he returned to his place in front of the hoops and waited for Ravenclawa to come.

(Ravenclaw Keeper)

Polly wandered slowly down to the Ravenclaw changing rooms her mind on the rest of the Quidditch team. Would they turn up? She had let them all know but it was possible some of them had forgotten. Entering the changing rooms Polly placed her bag on the floor and began to empty it out. Her quidditch uniform was crumpled up in her bag having been shoved in on her return to Hogwarts. In a hopeless attempt to smooth the uniform she slowly began to undress. Quickly pulling on her uniform she shivered in the cold. Rummaging in her backpack she finally came across a small comb with a bobble tied around it. Quickly scrapping her hair back she noticed what a mess she had made. It was a good job that the rest of the team had not shown up yet. Shoving the clothes back into her bag Polly grabbed her broom and ran to the mirror.

Walking the small way towards the pitch Polly noticed that she had left he gloves. As a keeper it was quite important to her. Dropping her new broom ' The keepers ride' on the floor she ran back to find her gloves sat staring at her. "Stupid things" she muttered pulling them on and running back to her broom. There lay a Christmas present from her family. It was called The keeprs ride and was specially designed for the keeper, with a large rubber grip on the handle for a better grip and the flatter end of the broom to make it easier to hit the quaffle away. The broom was Polly's pride and joy.

Running onto the patch she waved as a loud roar echoed from the Ravenclaw stands. Giggling slightly to herself, Polly moved towards the middle placed her broom under her legs. Even without flying it was easier to feel the benefits of the grip she didn't have to grip as hard to keeper it there. Smiling to herself she kicked of the ground to feel the wind blow through her hair. Pulling away the naughty bits of hair that would not stay in her would be perfect pony tail.

The familiar feeling of flying waved over her, it was the first time she had been back on the broom since she had gotten back from the holidays. Flying quickly to the Ravenclaw goal posts she waited for the rest of the team to arrive.

(ravenclaw chaser)

Kim walked into the locker rooms. She changed into her newly pressed quidditch robes. She put her hair in a bun and grabbed her broom. She walked onto the pitch and saw 3 Slytherins and 1 Ravenclaw. She flew into the air and greeted polly. then she flew around the pitch twice, and practiced some rolls. Her stomach growled, she forgot about the game and didn't have enough time to eat. She glanced over at Rastalin and shivered. He had always intimidated her in quidditch. SHe remember previous games. He can't scare me. I have to get past him to make points, if i'm afraid it will be hopeless. I am not going to be afraid of a Slytherin! I am KImber, hear me roar!!! Although roaring is for loins- gryffindor... But that sounds better than chirp.

Kimber laughed at her own joke, then shook head. "Get you'r head in the game!" she wispered to herself. Then she laughed again and started singing the High School Musical song. Is this what happens when i don't eat?? Stop it kim, get focused, do you want to lose?? This thought sobered her, and she finally focused.

(RAVENCLAW CHASER)

Their first match of the season - and what a fabulous season it would be! Elana took her time changing and putting her hair up, and took her broom from her locker. Hanging in the locker still was her old friend, her Beater's bat, from seasons passed. She looked at it lovingly for a few moments, remembering the feel of it in her hands. She kissed her fingertips and pressed them to the bat before shutting her locker and heading out into the brisk March air.

Her team was up and raring to go, ready to get ahead right away. As she swung a leg over her broom and kicked off, she took a look up at the sky. Spotting two Slytherin Chasers and their Captain-Keeper, and another Ravenclaw Chaser and their Keeper, Elana smiled. So far, they were evenly matched position-wise. Elana rose into the air, and flew over to the Ravenclaw goals where her teammates were hovoring, waiting for the game to begin.

"Great to see you Polly, and you too Kimmy!" she exclaimed, grinning ear to ear. "Ready to win?"

Yes, she knew that was a silly question. Winning - they were always ready for that. That thought in mind, her grin broadened, and her fingers tapped a quick beat on her leg. It felt so good to be back in the air, and she couldn't wait for the game to begin.

(Slytherin Seeker.

Violet walked out, her long black hair put up. Today was her first game and she was neverous. 'Good day for a game eh' She thought. Seeing her captain and some other. " I take it they think they are winning?" Violet asked." I wont let them." Violet said. She was neverous then anything, but she was trying her best no to show it. She looked over at the Ravenclaws adn raised her brow. "Is it normal to break into song?" She asked.

(Referee)

Amy flew up to the middle of the pitch. The two opposing teams were hovering nearby.

She opened the crate and let the bludgers and snitch zoom out, then tucked the Quaffle beneath her arm and placed her whistle to her lips.

Blowing the whistle, she threw the Quaffle into the air.

Which team's chaser would catch it first..?

(ravenclaw chaser)

Kim said hi to elana, a fellow chaser. Then saw another slytherin walk onto the field, a newbie. She glared at her after saying something about her singing. She told elana she was ready to kick butt, and win.

She thought about what happened to the third chaser. The chaser never showed up, Kim hadn't ever even met her, or him. She hoped today they would walk onto the pitch for the first time. She also hoped the rest of the team would show for the game. There were now more slytherin's on the pitch than ravenclaw's.

The ref walked onto the field and released the balls. Kim caught the ball (quaffle) and was glad to be first in possesion. She flew along with the ball, hoping elana was flying next to her, for a pass.

(Slytherin Chaser)

Shadow watched as Amy walked onto the pitch with the ball crate. Flying down lower, Shadow prepared herself for the usual tussle for the quaffle. She bit her lip, waiting for the quaffle to be released.

Once the whistle had been blown and the quaffle had been released, Shadow darted forwards, making a grab for it. She flew back towards Dorothy, hoping that their third chaser was going to make their appearence very soon. She had missed the quaffle, and the way things were going, Slytherin wan't going to do very well...

(RAVENCLAW CHASER)

Letting out a happy whoop at Kim's early capture of the Quaffle, Elana raced after her fellow Chaser. She was glad that, so far, there were no Slytherin Beaters on the pitch - she didn't fancy getting hurt today. The team needed its players in tip-top condition, of course, and getting hit wouldn't help things at all. Flying parallel to Kim a meter or so away, Elana kept her eyes moving, and herself alert. She watched Kim in case she wanted to pass, and had to keep her eyes out in front of them and around in case any of the opposing team's players wanted to get the Quaffle. Try, rather. The only thing in front of them was Rai stationed in front of the goals - they could do this!

"We got this, Kim!" The telling "ding" meaning that ten points had been won was already chiming in her head. It wasn't like she was feeling over confident or anything...well, maybe just a little.

(ravenclaw chaser)

Kim flew and was glad that elana was by her side. She yelled her name, but she was already looking. Kim passed her the ball and continued on flying, along with her. She was wondering if the ball would be passed back or if she would go for the goal. But either way a decision was going to be made as they flew up to the posts.

(RAVENCLAW CHASER)

Hearing her name, Elana took a hand off of her broom, and a moment later a big red ball was coming at her. It crossed the empty space and landed safely in the shelter of her arms. She continued to speed up the pitch, her fellow Chaser beside her, and they were soon just seconds away from the Keeper-guarded goal posts. Thinking quickly, possibility upon possibility on what to do jumped into her mind, and she chose a surprise attack. With a barely perceptible tilt of her head, she signaled Kim to head up to the goal on the right, while she continued on her course to the left. Flying as far to the left as she dared to still have a good shot at scoring, she hoped to lure the Keeper over there. From that position, he would most likely be too far away to protect the right hand hoop...

She advanced on the goal, and took her hands off of her broom to bring the Quaffle back as if to throw it into the hoop. Her gaze was even focused on the inside of the ring, and after a few fakes, she threw the ball. But, unlike what the Keeper probably thought, it didn't go towards the hoop closest to her. Instead, it soared up to where Kim was positioned. Smiling, Elana crossed her gloved fingers, and watched as the Quaffle flew towards the Ravenclaw...

(Ravenclaw Beater and Captain)

::Herby grabbed her fuzzy sweater, the pink one her grandmother knitted. The pinkness of her sweater went perfectly with her pink tutu. As she gathered up her belongings, Herby headed down to the Great Hall. It was lunch time now and she was starving.::

::As she gather up some grill cheese and a hand full of fries, she realized the game was going to start soon. Feeling better due to the food, Herby headed outside towards the dueling arena.::

::Upon her arrival, it was clear that she was officially late. It seemed her pit stop for lunch put her behind schedule. Gripping her broom tightly, Herby lifted off the ground. Soring through the air, a small smirk formed on her face. It was clear she was in a good mood to battle at Quidditch, specifically towards the Slytherins.::

::As she took flight, Herby took her position she waited for her next move to take action.::

(Slytherin Keeper and Captain)

Raistlin was overing in front of the hoops looking at the Ravenclaw Chasers as they tossed the quaffle between each other.

"C'mon birdies, let this snake bite you!"

Raistlin was now in a feverish mood, his eyes glitterring in anticipation. He grabbed the broom with one hand tightly and let the other free to caught the quaffle when it was thrown. As he saw Elana going towards the left hoop Raistlin flew to block it.

"Give it to me!"

But then she threw the quaffle once more to Kim once, if Kim was to send it to right hoop he wouldnt get there in time unless... Raistlin sat himself over the hoop leaving the broom which he grabbed with both hands and pointed it like a lance read to shoot it where Kim was to threw the quaffle.

(Slytherin Chaser)

Shadow cursed under her breath as the two Ravenclaw chasers headed for the goal. She secretly hoped that Rastilin was on hand to block what ever they were going to throw at him.
"Dorothy! Let's go!" Shadow shouted to her fellow chaser and darted off after the opposing team, glad that the beaters weren't there to knock them off their brooms. A list of different tactics ran through her mind and she quickly glanced downwards to see if their other chaser was there. She cursed again as she spotted a Ravenclaw beater though. Looking straight ahead again, she saw with relief that Rastilin was ready and waiting for the chasers.

(ravenclaw chaser)

(uh, oh, what now?) Kim saw Rastalin ready for elana to shoot. But they had other plans. Kim had got where elana signaled and waited for the fake out pass. It came and she caught it and threw it towards the hoop. She let out a squeal of excitement and flew away from the hoops, not wanting to see if she made it. She waited for the ding...

She saw Herby arrive, flying into the air. She waved and waited for the next action.

(RAVENCLAW CHASER)

"C'mon birdies, let this snake bite you!"

"Rai," Elana called out cheerfully, "we birdies eat snakes, remember?"

He yelled something back, to which she replied, "Give it? No way, you'll have to catch it!"

She spotted movement in her peripheral vision - the Quaffle in flight. She whipped around to see the ball heading towards the goal and Kim zooming away from it. Smiling, Elana flew after her and held up her hand for a high-five. "Nice catch, and throw!" she said happily. She turned back to Rai, trying to see if it had gone in or not...

(Slytherin Keeper and Captain)

Raistlin eyes narrowed when he saw Kim threwing the Quaffle. With a gracious movement Raistlin threw his broom to the right hoop where the Quaffle would get in. The Tip of the broom hit the Quaffle like a spear and sidetracked the Quaffle wich still hit the metal of the hoop but didnt got in.

"Good lord that was close. Hmm can somene get me my broom please?

Raistlin was sitting in the left hoop in a rather awkward position.

(Slytherin Chaser)

Shadow tried very hard not to burst out laughing at Raistlin's comment, but dived to retrieve his broom so that he could continue guarding the goal hoops. She shook her head as she passed the broom to him, but smiled all the same. She turned back to the game, hoping that it would continue to go in their favour.

(Slytherin Keeper and Captain)

Raistlin saw gladly Shadow bringing his broom back to him.

"Ohhh, thank you very much, let's just hope I do not need to that a lot" he said grinning and then put himself paralelly in front of the hoops but turned his head to the ravies.

"Almost got me there...almost... had you been three and you have might succeeded."

He pay more attention in the future to suble movements from the chasers.

(RAVENCLAW CHASER)

Along with the Ravenclaw supporters, Elana scowled up at Rai for spoiling their first shot at a goal. She knew she shouldn't be so angry, seeing as the game had only just begun and they had so long to get more goals...and now Rai was broomless...She smiled, but it wasn't in any way similar to her smile before he had knocked the Quaffle out of the way. No, it was an impish one, mischevious, and maybe even slightly demonic...

She flew nearer to Rai so that he could hear her, and called, "Of course, Rai, I'll be happy to get it." She looked around to it, and with a pout saw that Shadow had beaten her to retrieving the Keeper's broom. If only she had been a bit faster and had just zoomed off after it and taken it to the other end of the pitch before the other Chaser had gotten it...Oh well. Flying over to Herby to form a plot, the wheels in her mind were tick tick ticking as a plan of action formed.

(Ravenclaw Beater and Captain)

::Herby watched in awe as Elana headed towards the goal. But before she knew it Rai stopped the play and so far the score was zero. Gah, we must figure a way to get past Rai.::

::Sneaking past everyone, Herby watched and looked around for a stray bludger. There must be a way to find it. Surely by now everything was working out not as planed. Gripping her broom Herby did a few loop the loops and headed towards the opposite end.::

::After what seemed like several minutes, Herby saw it in the corner of her eye. One of the glorious balls in quidditch. Racing towards it, Herby smacks it gently with her bat. The echo created a remembrance sound. As she sored towards the Slytherin end, she noticed Rai standing alone. Thinking of an excellent plan Herby waited for the right moment.::

(RAVENCLAW CHASER)

The Quaffle was being collected so that it could be thrown back into play, and Elana was even more determined to score this time. Now that they had one of their Beaters on the pitch, she had an even better feeling about it. And speaking of the Beater...she turned to look for Herby, who had taken off to find a Bludger. Grinning as she saw that it was in Herby's posession, she felt a wave of nostalgia wash over her, making her grin falter. She suddenly found herself wishing that she had her bat back in her grip, wishing that she were taking on the Keeper with the Bludgers herself. Oh, the memories...Just then, the Quaffle suddenly came into view. Elana narrowed her eyes and took off after it, opening her arms for a catch. It came to a stop against her chest, but she didn't. Zooming towards the Slytherin goals once again, she hoped Rai wouldn't do his job so well this time.

(Ravenclaw Beater and Captain)

::As Herby waited for the right moment, Elana sored past her chasing the quaffle. It only took her a few seconds and she knew it was time to put their plan into action. A cracking sound could be heard as she sent the bludger towards Rai. As she did this, Elana took off towards the hoops with the quaffle in hand.::

::A huge smirk appeared on Herbys face as Rai would not only have to defend his goals but now he would have a bludger soring towards his head. It would be a tough choice to make, as Herby continued smile.::

(RAVENCLAW CHASER)

"Thanks Herbs!" Elana called as their Beater launched a Bludger at the Keeper. She didn't slow her speed as she neared the goals, bringing her arm up with the Quaffle. Glad for her past as a Beater giving her arm strength, she threw the ball at the center goal, knowing that it just had to go in this time. And if it didn't...she might just have to break the rules and grab Herby's bat and - she stopped that train of thought, and gave her head a shake. She'd have to stay clear of those thoughts, just concentrate on the game. And so she watched the Quaffle fly towards the goal...

(Slytherin Keeper and Captain)

Raistlin heard the dreadful sound of a bludger being wacked and there was only one beater on the field looking at Herby he saw the bludger coming at him.

"Of course..." he grumbled. He also took noticed of Elana so he decided for a 2 in 1 movement the Starfish and Stick. As soon as he was positioned below the broom he heard the bludger flying past him.

"I will be killed one of these days..." he whispered to himself. Luckily holding the broom horizontally with one hand and one foot curled around the handle, while keeping all limbs outstretched he was now in position to defend the hoops.

Unfortunatly Elana had sent the Quaffle to the middle hoop. The quaffle found an osbtacle and didnt got in, however the obstacle was Raistlin's stomach.

"Owwwwwwwwwwww" with a scream of pain but holding the quaffle in his stomach Raistlin let go of the broom and started falling.

(Slytherin Beater)

Mick moved quickly. He hoped no one noticed how late he was.

Straight away he fell into the action, diving forward into the path of the bludger that was heading towards Raist, and holding his bat with all his strength he blocked the path between it and Raist, eyeing the quaffle heading his way also.

Only one thing to do!

Yet he was too late, the quaffle hit Raist in the stomach sending him flying. Thinking quickly, Mick took the rebound of the bludger

As the bludger neared him Mick took a huge swing

CRACK

He hit the bludger full force towards the oposite end of the pitch and quickly flew after the falling Raist, balancing on his broom and stretching out his hand to him...

(Slytherin Seeker)
Violet flew around the pitch, looking for the snitch.' This is going to take forever. Where is the other seeker?' Violet just sat on her firebolt and watch the others. She spotted gold in her eyes and turn, only to see golden streamers down below. 'I believe someone has the wrong colors' Violet thought and flew round the field, looking for the snitch, avioding the bludgers

(Slytherin Keeper and Captain)

Raistlin didn't know if to congratulate or rant at mick when he caught him.

"Oh look you're alive! ouch" he decided for ranting though his stomach was hurting "Next time I'll be wearing metal plates! Now go and deal with Herby keep her of my way I can deal with the Chasers".

Getting back in his broom Raistlin was now more angry than ever and flew to the goal posts like a hazzard.

(RAVENCLAW CHASER)

"Gah!" Elana yelled, pulling at her ponytail with her hands. Were they ever going to be able to score?! If he would just get out of the way for one second...She took a peek at the goals, intending to send a glare his way, and saw that he wasn't there! Her immediate reaction was a squeal of delight and the thought to go after the Quaffle hit her, but then she realized that unless some bodily harm had come to him, Rai wouldn't have left his position. Concerned now rather than elated, Elana looked around for the Slytherin, and saw him falling down through the air. Now it was his broom that was left hovoring the goals and he away, unlike a few minutes prior. Thankfully, Mick's timely arrival saved Rai from an untimely doom. But it didn't look like he was in the best of moods...Elana quickly flew away from the goals and back towards the center of the pitch to await the Quaffle being thrown back into play.

(Slytherin beater)

Mick laughed as Raist ranted at him wondering whether he should have caught him or not, yet still, he was a good player and they needed to win this game.

As soon as Raist was back on his battered broom Mick flew up to guard Herby keeping an eye on Raist in case he decided to try flying without a broom again

(Ravenclaw Beater and Captain)

::Herby watched in horror as the bludger smacked Rai right in the stomach. It was so unbelievable that she was witnessing him falling through the air. She couldn't help but feel partly responsible with Rai getting hurt.::

Oh no, what have I done.

::Panic started to spread through Herby. She didn't mean for him to get that hurt, maybe just a bruise or two. Speeding towards him, Herby was cut off by Snape.::

What in the world? Where did he come from?

::It seemed Rai had a bit of luck as he was caught by Snape. Thank goodness, it would have been a huge problem if he had hit the ground and all because it was her fault. Herby started to feel a bit better but knowing however that the quaffle still didn't go in but instead smacked Rai in the stomach. Herby again chased after the stray bludger that snape sent soring.::

::After catching up to it, Herby noticed Snape was now following her. She decided it was best to do a few moves and started doing grip rolls and loop the loops. Before long, she was still ahead of Snape as she headed toward the Slytherins end again. For nothing was going to stop her from winning::

(RAVENCLAW CHASER)

Third time's a charm, Elana thought with a sigh as the Quaffle was once again thrown back into play after hitting Rai. Trying to not imagine the stomach ache he must have, she reached out for it and it fell into safety. Clutched against her as it was, nothing was going to get it away from her, she was sure of that. Well, only "nothing" if that didn't entail a natural disaster, like a sudden tornado or something. But they weren't planning on anything like that, so she assumed everything would be okay in that respect.

She and the Quaffle zoomed back to the Slytherin's end of the pitch, keeping both eyes out for Bludgers and other players. With a slight frown she saw that Mick was tailing Herby, but she was able to get away from him with a few quick moves. And Herby, or the threat of her, anyway, kept the way to the goals pretty clear. There was one Bludger that came spiraling towards her, but by pushing down on her broom she headed into a steep dive out of harm's way. Rising back to the level of the goals, Elana continued on her way, more than ready to send the Quaffle into the hoop.

(Ravenclaw Beater and Captain)

::After a while, Snape started to drive her crazy but following her around. As she noticed Elana was going again for the third time for the hoops, Herby smacked the bludger.::

::The sound was the same as before, except it wasn't going towards Rai but towards Snape. True he did have a bat but he wouldn't expect Herby to do something like this and this gave her an open opportunity. As the Snape was so close, it wouldn't take long for the moment to happen.::

::Herby watched and waited.::

(RAVENCLAW CHASER)

Elana didn't take her time shooting - as soon as she was close enough to the goals to have a chance at making one (finally), she threw the big red ball at the right hand hoop. She then pulled up on her broom, making a loose loop so she wouldn't run into the goals at speed. Though she knew it had been a decent throw, and that she had had a decent shot at the goals being clear for her score, Elana was reluctant to turn to see what the outcome had been. The ding...WHERE'S THE DING?! she thought frantically. It should've rung already, yeah? Or maybe not, maybe not...

(Ravenclaw Beater and Captain)

::Herby still waited to see what would happen with her bludger, but before she knew it Elana was soring towards the rings. It was almost as though time had stood still. She just couldn't wait to see it go through, after several attempts that failed this one surely couldn't.::

::After what seemed like a week, luck started to come to the Ravenclaws. The Quaffle went through the middle hoop. Screams of excitement filled Herby.::

"Whoot, go Ravenclaw!! Elana Roz my Socks"

::Chasing over towards Elana, Herby gave her a huge high five.::

"Good job! Patients is everything! Now lets kick some Slytherin butt"

(RAVENCLAW CHASER)

It - it had gone in! With a proper ding and all! Positively beaming from ear to ear, Elana returned the high five and couldn't resist a well earned victory dance. Now, though a victory dance may seem like a simple enough thing to do, while hovoring in the air on a small broomstick makes it a wee bit more difficult, as she had found out in terms past by nearly falling off (or actually falling) many a time. But still, the HE tradition of victory dancing was stronger than the sense of self preservation, and so dance they did.

"Your socks? Glad to hear it!" She took a look down at them and saw that they were...bright pink. Giggling, Elana took in the rest of Herby's appearance, not knowing how it hadn't really struck her as odd before then. Turned out, her socks weren't the only thing pink - add a tutu and sweater. "Herby...you, my dear, are amazing," she said, grinning.

(Ravenclaw Chaser)

Kim had apparently dazed off. She came back to reality and saw what had happened. The second attemp at a goal, the Bludger to Raistalin, Snape on the field, and the third attempt. And to her amazement and excitement it went in. She squealed and flew over and gave Elana and Herby high fives, and watched as Elana did a victory dance.

She turned to see where the Quaffle was now. She saw Ria retrieving it, grudgingly. She told elana she was sorry for not being there. And hoped the next plan would work too.

[Slytherin Chaser]

Kaylee ran out onto the field still pulling the rest of her uniform on with one hand and clutching onto her trusty nimbus 2001 in the other.

Crap I'm late again, maybe I just need to buy a new watch. Hopefully I haven't missed too much.

Looking up above her as she adjusted her uniform Kaylee noticed that the game had begun and was already in full swing. Counting off the players silently she noticed that she may very well be the last person from her team on the pitch.

I don't think Rai will let this tardiness go unnoticed. Hopefully he will understand when I tell him I didn't see that I was on the starting team until this afternoon.

Hastily she mounted her broom and kicked off sending her straight into the thick of things. Looking towards the opposing end of the field she noticed some of the Ravenclaw players had broken out into something resembling a dance, but wasn't totally sure if she was seeing things correctly.

Flying towards Rai to apologize for the tardiness she noticed he was looking slightly discombobulated, like something had almost gone seriously wrong. Obviously her tardiness had more serious consequences than she had previously imagined.

Before she could reach Rai she noticed that the Quaffle was back into play. Instead of stopping to apologize she flew off towards the Ravenclaws who were currently in possession of the Quaffle.

Well if nothing else he can lay into me for my tardiness after the game is over, now I have a Quaffle to catch.

(RAVENCLAW CHASER)

"Don't worry about it," Elana reassured Kim. "All that matters is that you're here now!"

Kim was here, and so was another of the Slytherin Chasers. Lovely. The Quaffle was tossed back into play, and she was happy to collect it. As she took off down the pitch, she called over her shoulder, "Hey Kim, ready for our clown act?"

Now, to random passerby, that phrase may sound strange. It was in fact, a code of sorts for the play they would do - Juggling. It was simple, yes, but an effective and safe way to get the Quaffle from one end of the pitch to another. As she sped up, Elana put her trust in her fellow Chaser by suddenly throwing the Quaffle behind to her left. If all was well, it would land in Kim's arms. And if not, she'd just have to dive after it. She continued her flight, bracing herself to catch it soon if everything was good.

(Slytherin Seeker)
Violet watched everything. She had saw her captain fall and peolpe chased by bludgers. One of her team mates had been late. Violet looked for the snitch. She kept wanting for the Ravenclaw seeker to chase her, to give her compation but yet they werent.

Shadow darted back to where the quaffle had now been put back into play. She looked down and spotted their third chaser. She felt relieved that they were all there now.
"Hey, glad you could make it!" She called out to Kaylee. Shadow saw that the two Ravenclaw chasers had started some sort of tactic with the quaffle, and that Elana had thrown the quaffle without making sure that it would land safely in her team mate's arms. Smiling slightly, she darted forwards and seized the quaffle while it was still in mid-air. Turning her broom around, Shadow headed back towards the Ravenclaw goalposts.

[Slytherin Chaser]

After giving Shadow a nod for her welcome to the pitch Kaylee continued on her path towards the Ravenclaw chasers. Before she got close enough to put her newly practiced Woollongong Shimmy into effect Shadow snatched the Quaffle in mid pass away from the Ravenclaw chasers.

I know we haven't practiced together much, but maybe I can tell her without actually saying it that we should try the Porskoff Ploy and see if we can mess up Kim since her, Herby and Polly are the only things standing in our way of evening the score.

Kaylee pulled on her broom hard into an almost complete 180 and leaned down into full speed position to catch up to Shadow before she came upon Kim. As she zoomed towards Shadow she scanned the pitch for the bludgers, neither of which at the moment were anywhere in sight.

Good hopefully we wont have to deal with those on top of trying to get this play down.

Knocking on her head three times hoping she didn't just jinx them Kaylee continued on her path. When she finally caught up Shadow was not more than a few yards from Kim.

Not knowing if Shadow could understand or pick up on her hand gestures Kaylee started to do her best to sign with her hands that they should try the Porskoff Ploy.

I sure hope she gets what I was trying to motion to her, or she's going to have to pull off some good flying to get around Kim.

Before even waiting for Shadow to respond Kaylee dropped down below the opposing chasers range hoping that if nothing else this would let Shadow know what she was trying to convey.

(Slytherin Chaser)

Shadow turned her head slightly as Kaylee came up beside her, and then started to gesture something. Shadow frowned slightly, but then realised what she was trying to say. Smiling slightly, Shadow angled her broom upwards, hoping that they would be able to pull it off.

(Ravenclaw keeper)

Polly looked around, she had been in a day dream for most of the game. Her eyes open wide she cursed herself for being a fool. She had her new broom which she was determined to try a few new moves out on. Cursing herself she looked around at the pitch. The slytherin chasers were signalling to each other.

O god o god what on earth were they signalling about? Was the thoughts running through Polly's head. Well at least Ravenclaw were in the lead. Shifting her bum on her broom she moved slightly towards the middle of the scoring area. Whatever the chasers were signalling about in the end its going to have something to do with her.

[Slytherin Chaser]

Noticing Shadows upward movements Kaylee realized that Shadow must have understood what she was trying to tell her. Watching Shadows above her Kaylee started trying to position herself in just the right spot to pull this play off.

Good now all I have to do is get into position and wait and pray that Kim takes the bait, either way she can only pay attention to one of us. The distraction should hopefully prove well enough to at least let the other person by to attempt to score.

"Lets just hope that Elana will stay distracted long enough for us to pull a fast one on her team mate." Kaylee mumbled to herself now fully in position to catch the quaffle once and if Kim took the bait.
