First topic message reminder :

Emmalynn wrote today's potion on the board as she waited for her students to arrive.
She'd been a teacher for a year now, and her classes were very small.
Not too many kids wanted advanced potions anymore, and Emmalynn refused to teach the dunderheads.
She'd taken a liking to her godfather's, Severus, teaching style.

"Really?" Mathew asked her trying to hold back a laugh, trying to act as serious as possible. "I havent heard about it and I know about all pocket lint conventions all over the world. If you say it's coming it must be. I must go off and get my collection" he said finally giving in to luaghter

Alice cracked up laughing loudly. she covered her mouth."your hallariuose and i hate my laugh" she said chuckaling inbatween each syllable.

MAthew luaghed along with her and once he was able to pull himself together he said "Nonsense your luaghter is vert cheerful. I love it"

"Loud laughter is the best kind." Mathew said. "Whats the point of having laughter if no one can hear it? We need laughter to make this world happier and yours accomplishes that well. See you made me smile" he said smiling the biggest smile he could muster

Alice laughed quitly along side him not moving from her statue like position.

"Huh? Oh, um.... How about you get started on the Polyjuice Potion," she said, thinking up a difficult potion for them.

"Polyjuice potion?" Mathew asked her. "I've seen my mom make that before. It'll be no problem" he said trying to impress Alice. "I could do that in my sleep"

"Really? Because it takes an entire month to make, Mathew," she said,, smirking at him.

Emmalynn grinned. "Well then, I guess you can stand up here and recite to the class and I all of the ingredients? In alphabetical order?" she asked smugly.

"Um" Mathew said. "Let me gather my thoughts here for a moment. I have to go through them all and put them in order you see" he said giving her a weak smile. Mathew took a few glances at Alice but had to look away.

Emmalynn laughed slightly. "No need, Mr. Showoff," she said, grinning.

"Now, class, the polyjuice potion, as I've already mentioned, takes a month to make. I will provide a seperate classroom, adjacent to this one, for you to work in as needed. I will also inform your teachers that you may have to leave periodically to work on your potions," Emmalynn explained.

"Now, take out your textbooks and read the incructions carefully before starting."

Mathew felt his face turn red as he pulled out his book and turned to the page. He held it up so that Alice wouldn't be able to see him with his face bright red.

Emmalynn grinned evilly at Matt's reaction and made a mental note to tell Oddie all about her son's new crush. Maybe she'd see her at the next staff meeting, given that Emmalynn bothers to go...

"well Mat can you help me polyjuice is not my fortay and you seem to be soooo good at it" Alice said suddgesting that they would be potions partner. Wich in a way is science partner in the wizarding world.

Mathew was glad that Alice had asked him and he let his book fall over. It landed on the floor but he didn't seam to notice.

"Of course I'll help you." Mathew said as he jumped to his feet, snatched his boom from the ground and sat down beside Alice. He than opened his book on his desk and said "Our potion shall be the best!"

Elladora skipped into the classroom, then she noticed the class was in session, and walked more maturely. She went straight to the desk and spoke directly to Emmalynn.
"Maly, er, Emmalynn," she stifled a giggle at her formality. "My mother would like to formally invite you to a party!-- I mean wizarding get-together-- at my house for the celebration of the anniversity of some important day."
Elladora screwed up her face in concentration, attempting to remember the important day. She was sure she heard her mother say it sometime earlier that day. But then she helped Hagrid take care of Grawp, and Professor Longbottom had asked for assistant with the baby mandrakes...

Mathew watched as some girl came and gave Emmalynn a message. He than turned back to his bokos waiting for the teacher to say that they could start on their potions

Emmalynn looked up when Elladora skipped in. "Elladora," Emmalynn said. "Why don't you ever listen to your mother? I mean, how hard is it to remember what she says?" Emmalynn sighed. "But sure, I'll go."

Looking out to her students, Emmalynn noticed that Matt and Alice seemed a bit distracted... with each other.

"Miss Lovegood, have you finished your reading?" she asked.

"I did remember it," Elladora said. "And I made a note not to forget it! But then, I had to go help Hagrid with Grawp, and Neville asked me to help him with baby mandrakes. And those things so screaming so loud, I'm surprised I remembered to ask you at all."

Elladora heard Emmalynn's agreement and said, "Great, just be over at my place by six on Friday."

Mathew sat at his desk and waited for wghat felt like forever until Elladora told Emmalynn to be at her place by six on firday. He let his head fall onto the desk to show his bordeom hoping this would make Alice laugh

"i would try it but i just know if i do i will hit my head really hard on axsident" Alice recalled so many times hitting her head on her desk wich was kind of an odd thing to do so often.
