First topic message reminder :

Emmalynn wrote today's potion on the board as she waited for her students to arrive.
She'd been a teacher for a year now, and her classes were very small.
Not too many kids wanted advanced potions anymore, and Emmalynn refused to teach the dunderheads.
She'd taken a liking to her godfather's, Severus, teaching style.

"Sure" Mathew said. "Well I drink like five galloens of water a day. Need to be well hydrated to stay focus in class"

"i think your exagerating theres no way you could drink five gallons in a day its redicoulse" she smiled.
"plus who needs to stay focuss" Alice joked though she knew the anserw was everyone.

"Well maybe I don't drink five gallons a day but it'd pretty close" he said.

"Your right!" he exclaimed. "Why would we need to stay focus? It isn't like this stuff is interesting." he said glancing up to Emmalynn to see if she was listening in to thier conversation

Mathew laughed. "Maybe than we should take over the classroom. We can lock her in a broom closet!" he shouted and than looked at Emmalynn again before turning back to Alice. "That might not be a good idea since my mom is friends with her."

"Nope" Mathew agreed. "I guess I could try to talk some yountger kid to do it. I wonder if they could pull it off without them being abke to trace it back to me?"

I dont know if there the relly knew first years from gryfindor then they wont you would not be able to trace it back because they try to be so brve and stuff uh oh i am being stereotypical." she appoligized .

"Yup" Mathew said as he looked down at his book and started to flip the pages not looking at what was on them. "This class seams to go on forever. We need to start on this potion" he said looking up. "I don't want to sit here all day pretending to read." he grinned

Mathew smiled. "We can both take the blame. That wa we'll get a lesser punishment hoefully" he laughed as he ran over to the cupbioard to gather the things he would need.

Alice did as instructed looking up every now and then to see if the teacher was watching them but she never was.

Mathew started to throw the ingriendents in as the book called for them and than turned to Alice. "Turn the potion clockwise for at least five minutes" He looked down at his watch and started to time her. "I remeber when I helped my mom to make this. It was fun"

"Believe me making it with mom was fun. When we tested to see if we get it right she would gather hair she got from a muggle and put it in the potion and drink it." Mathew laughed remebering back when the one time she looked like an old man with warts all over her face. "It was a ton of fun."

"CAuse she's been like the only person who I hanged out when i was gorwing up" Mathew said. "I never knew my dad and we were always in hiding so I spent a lot of time with mom and while we were hiding she would come up with fun games to keep me distracted. Not until I started Hogwarts i got to meet other people. You have got to be the first person that i met here." Mathew said smiling at her

"We were hiding from foes of my mom" Mathew said not really answering her question "She did something to them and they wanted revenge"

"We'll we we're hiding underground but we did stay in abandoned buildings" Mathew said. "Once we stayed in the shrieking shack. That was scarey"

"that sounds wicked awesome i would love to live someplace exotic like that even if i was in hiding i mean i have lived in lots of countrys but thats diffrent theres not that constant fear of adventure danger thats alittle odd isnt it?" She asked realizeing what she was saying was a little out of the ordinary even though most everthing she said was that way.

Mathew laughed. "Well we didn't stay there long. We we're foun which wasn;t a good thing." He shuddered. He remebered that day perfectly and wanted to tell Alice what happened but he knew she wouldn't believe him.

"well thats not good its also kind of sad i mean its like being in the military always moving staying out of ear shot because you dont know who could be after you and then the enemy ships invade and the hole thing is blown up in your face" Alice sped up her words the farther she got into it.

"Well not exactly but close enough" Mathew laughed. "Most of the time mom was smart enough to pick good places. Most places she found I was able to spend time outside."

"do you play an instrement because you could tottally pull of that whole guitar player thing oh thats something really bad to say isnt it well forget that lats just say i said only do you play an instrement" she said hitting herself in the head with her palm.
