Emmalynn's Advanced Potions Class

"ok even if you didnt want to know i am going to tell you i can place thoughts in peoples head and block myself from mind readers but i ccant read mind a defect and you moved around alot it sucks doesnt it. i have been in an orphanage about twenty times and adopted about twenty times" Alice smiled "its kinda cool fanaly meeting someone who is not a vampire that moves around alot. Alice giggled "so do you have a nick name."

"like a milion i change names alot so i get nick names ya i guess that happened when you just hang around all the time. But there was only a cuple that stuck. Tinkerbell or tink, mouse and Alllie Allie for my name mouse because i live with wrestlers so i was as small as a mouse and tinkerbell because i was like always happy and bounce and stuff" Alice giggled.
"ya so how do you know shadow?" Alice asked remebering that one fight in the forest with her and her group.

"thats fine if you wont to call me that" she giggled"thats kinda like cudos for her but sad that you two havent talked you know" Alice smiled "so anything awsome going on?" she asked not able to think of anything to say.

"great another accedent pron friend what am i going to do" Alice giggled.
"whats your fave class here?" She asked remebering that they were in a postions class she added more ingrediants and then waited for her anserw.

"it would be care of magical creatures but they dont let me in that class anymore so i would say the actiant ruens one whatever it is called i cant remeber" Alice giggled
"so why dont people call you just your first name?" she asked still slightly giggling.

"oh ok and it would not be unfair because like i kinda ate my project last quarter so i get were there comeing from " she smiled "ya so?" she asked hopeing her friend would comeup with something to say.

"ok sure why not i have done worse stuff" alice laughed.
"you start" she insisted not wanting to be the first one.

Alice doged and quikly turned around and threw the first ingrediant she saw.
"its not exactly fair" she stated.

"ello" Alice called to the girl who just walked in.
"who are you" she asked still dodging potion ingrediants while she talked.

Emmalynn had walked out only for a few minutes, thinking that an advanced potions class could stay out of trouble. She was dead wrong. There were potions ingredients on the floor and desks, and people were chatting like first years! She sighed and magically magnified her voice.

"Stop!" she yelled over the noise. Severus would be proud of what she did next. She made her voice normal before continuing. "Twenty points from Gryffindor and ten from Ravenclaw for being utterly irresponsible and immature. Detention for two months for each of you, and you will all clean my classroom without magic. Now."

She took a seat at her desk to watch the reactions.

"dont listen to her i went along with it its only fair to punish us both event hough i dredfully went along with it regreting everything i have done and apparently so does Torren we are so verry sorry and chose to exsept any punishment you deside to give us hey your the boss" she said as senseryly as she could.
dont say a word i am getting us out of truble Alice comanded in side Torrens head .

sorry usally i could get you off of detention or the other person but i guess to many tricks have been plaied on her sorry Alice thought in torrens head with sincere appology.
"yes mam" Alice said polightly to her teacher and started tto clean up the botles.

Alice giggled alittle.
"torren do you just go around explaining everything to people who just walk in that you dont even know" she asked playfuly.

"oh ok that true ello i am alice and for the record it wasnt her fault it was mine" she said.
"your not getting blamed for this torren" she said still giggling.

"yes what "you did" air quotes intended" Alice said playfully.
"face the facts its my fault and you know it so just let me take the fall" Alice said dramatically making it seem like a soap opera.

"It's both of your faults, now shut up and clean..." Emmalynn muttered before she heard Mathew introduce himself.

Emmalynn sat upright and smiled at Matt. She, forgetting that she was his professor, got up and ran to her friend's son and engulfed him in a hug.

"Matt! How are you?" she asked as she released him. "How's Oddie?"

"i would take that class but iv got kicked out of alot of those classes and i am done trying to get or stay in that class. i absolutly love deffense aginst the dark arts and it is kind of funny how those teachers cant manage to stand us for to long huh?" she asked continueing to clean folowing the orders the teacher had barked out.

Alice giggled at the two exchanging thoughts on the curse of the defense aginst the dark arts .
"i dont think there is a curse i think that people just dont like teaching people how to hurt people." she said thinking about it.

Emmalynn listened to the chatter of her students. She almost laughed when Torren suggested that Salazar Slytherin had put the curse on the defence job.

"That's preposterous. The job wasn't cursed until my first year in 1991; the year Harry Potter got here..." she said, remembering Quirrel. "He was an idiot, that one."

She turned to Matt. "I've been ditching the staff meetings, so I must've missed your mom's introduction. I should drop by... I do need ingredients that she could get me..." Emmalynn started to think about what animal ingredients she was out of or running low on.

Emmalynn looked curiously at Torren. "Yes, I went to school with Potter. He was... not very bright, but very lucky and talented beyond measure on a broom," she said, trying not to bash him like she wanted to.

"Severus wasn't very fond of him either... so of course I didn't like him much. Anyway, I was in Slytherin, and he in Gryffindor, so we weren't what you'd call 'friends'," Emmalynn thought out loud.

torren could see by her face she wanted to say something mean, but refrained from doing so. "oh, i heard the headmasters fancied him a bit. i also heard the reason that severus didn't like him was because he reminded him of james. he protected harry until the end though, because of lilly. that's so sad, yet heart warming all at the same time. he must have loved lilly so much."

she said smiling a little at the thought. she wondered if ryan was that devoted to her. "i also heard awful stories about what they did to poor serverus in school, i wouldn't like james too much either if i was him." she stopped and thought for a minute, "why does what house your in affect who you can be friends with though?" torren asked her more seriously, "i was really good friends with a slytherin girl about a year ago."

Emmalynn took a seat near the girl and smiled slightly. "Severus was in love with Lily, that much is certain. Dumbledore wanted to be a parent to Harry, but still be a headmaster... Yes, Sev resented Harry for what James did to him, and so would I. In fact, sometimes I do," she said. She always jumped at a chance to explain her father-figure's situation.

"It was a completely different time when I was in school, Miss Evans... Even when Voldemort wasn't back, the times were dark. Inter-house unity barely exsisted at all... In my seventh year, Sev was headmaster, but he couldn't be fair. He had a spy job to keep," she said. She took a deep breath. "I was a traitor by then... and I was punished for it, believe me... I'm a blood traitor. Which is why I changed my surname from Malfoy to Snape: in honor of the only father I ever really had."
