Polly hobbled down towards the changing room her heavy bag slung loosly over her shoulder. The blisters on her feet stining every time she walked. Thanking god that quidditch was in the air and she didn't have to walk Polly entered the Ravenclaw changing room and a small smile spread across her whole face. The familiar colours hung on all the walls the benches adored in blue. It was like a warm friendly hug before the excitment of the match.
Pulling of her clothes Polly sat on the floor and gently massarged her feet being careful not the do any harm to her blisters she dressed herself slowly and deliberaty placing each of her clothing on perfectly. She wanted to look great for her new shows. Glancing down at her feet Polly smiled at the All wear Quidditch wear trainers which were specially designed for a firm grip and flexablity. Polly had also taken it in her liberty to sew two small Ravenclaw crests onto the sides of the black trainers.
After admiring her trainers for some time Polly grabbed her broom and walked out onto the pitch being the first one there Polly began her usual warm up exercises doing a few broom bounces where she goes up and down to get familiar with movement and speeding across the pitch. Polly continued to do things like broom bounces, spinning twirl and some of her old keeper movements to warm up ready for the match.

321 blared on her alarm clock. "321 I'm feeling everythings about to blow!!!"Kim rolled over and pushed the off button on her alarm clock. She loved Disciple's new song, but not that early in the morning.
Kim yawned as she thought about the Quidditch game. SHe pulled on some jeans, a tank top and her blue Converse. She brushed her hair and clipped it back in a twist.
Kim was still tired from last night. She went to Starbucks and got one size too big. She was waaay hyper and crazy al night- then she crashed. She couldn't sleep with all that caffine in her. Kim shook her head trying not to think about how good her pillow felt.
Walking into the locker rooms, Kim grabbed her robes and threw them over her head, then pulled her broom out of her locker. SHe walked onto the pitch and realized, a little late, how hot it was. It's October, it's supposed to be cold!!! Kim whined to herself. SHe looked in the air and saw that Polly was the only player on time.
"Whoops," Kim whispered to herself. SHe hopped on her broom and flew into the air with a cool burst of air. She wished it could feel like that, she was already sweaty....eew.
Kim knew it'd be a good match, as it always was when they played Slytherin. SHe started doing some warm ups, because she knew this game would require her all.

| (Ravenclaw Seeker) Elladora strected slowly and yawned, waking up fron her comforting slumber. She attempted to comb through her mostly knotted hair and changed into whatever she found to make her way down to the pitch. As soon as Elladora stepped out of the castle, she groaned. "Ugh! It's too hot!!" Elladora trotted down to the locker room and stripped before putting on her light Seeker robes. Elladora smiled at their loose-fitting-ness and strapped on the protecting pads to her knees and elbows. She grabbed her Firebolt and resisted stepping into the heat. After drinking an entire bottle of water, Elladora stepped out onto the pitch and mounted her broom quickly to get the air rushing towards her. She went around the pitch several times to warm-up and waved hello to Polly and Kim before practicing her dives and sharp turns. Elladora stopped moving in the shade of a nearby stand and watched as her peers came out of the castle and into the stands. She smiled and hoped someone would spray her with one of those misty-fans. | |

Gemma sat on her bed with a smug smile on her face. She was pleased, no extremely pleased with herself: just for once, she would actually manage to be on the pitch in time. She patted the alarm clock that went off once more tweaking a Muggle rock song, and gently stopped it. Surely the poor thing would have gone insane, had it had the ability to think, for the only touch it was used to was the violent throwing against the nearest wall that it was usually exposed to. But not today, no.
The bright red letters saying "Quidditch Match" right above her for once didn't look threatening, and the atmosphere was the normal quiet and slightly sad one yet it didn't matter for the time being. She got up and looked for her extraordinary modified duelling jeans, planning to wear them to the match just for once - it was an extremely good day, after all. A quick gaze out of the window - how do they do that in dungeons, anyway? - confirmed her suspicions raised by the warm air, and she went for a shirt and light sweatjacket only.
"I'm just a snakey-doo, everywhere I go, People know the part I'm playing. Calculating every word, Cutting like a sword, Every day some chum betraying..."
She sang light-heartedly and danced a little to the next changed song - God but she loved her alarm clock to pieces! This was just the right kind of warming up for an important match, and she was positive this was one. Ravens were probably the most ambitious enemies to be encountered at school, and she wasn't about to be shown up by some bloody brainiac. Intending to not be on the pitch all alone, Gemma banged on every single dorm door as she hopped away to the Great Hall.
Once there, she sighed dreamily at the smell of fresh bread, muffins, jam and pumpkin juice. Surely this was some kind of paradise! She sat down and ate for a rather long time, forgetting where she was and what she had been about to do - this was her personal heaven. Every now and then, she glanced up at the ceiling and grinned at the nice weather. All those thing this morning - they just have to be some kind of omen..., she concluded and went back to tucking in. Obviously things wouldn't go wrong, so why not take some time to be good and happy on the pitch?
When she'd finally finished she strode out proudly, a smile lingering on her face - yes an actual smile on a Slytherin's features! - and every cell absorbing the good mood in the air. As she opened the castle's front doors, the grass looked exceptionally green and the sky wonderously blue, and she could have sworn any person who'd consumed Felix Felicis couldn't be happier than she was right then.
"Feel The Rush! ooooooh! Feel It Everywhere! Keep On Movin’ It Forward And Look With No Dare!"
Once more she sang, doubting the lyrics where right that way but she'd picked them up at some Muggle competition called soccer and loved the way people went crazy hearing it. Obviously those lesser beings had found their subsitute for Quidditch and valued it about as much as the wizarding folk loved their prime sport. Gemma entered the locker rooms happily, slipped on her gear and grinned as she headed for Asmodin in the broom closet. The moment she spied a stuffed snake that decorated a locker (for unknown reason!), her face lit up even more. One swish of her wand and a muttered word later, she wrapped a stuffed yet very much alive-like moving animal around her neck to adorn the outfit and took a hold of her lovely broom.
Out on the pitch, the glow radiating from her faded somewhat, and her striding step faltered for a second. So far, there were three of those darn birdies, and a negatively amazing zero Slytherins. A huff escaped her lips - why did this stuff happen anyway? They'd been superior the term before...well, they were superior still, but concerning Quidditch not so much. Figuring she'd end up having to do something about it soon, Gemma mounted her broom and pushed herself off the ground. No time to muse and mull over unpleasant things!
"Heya, you three! Wish you a pleasant game, I hope you'll like losing against our awesomeness!"
At the same time, she winked and stuck out her tongue to show she was just making a little fun. The next moment she shot off and flew laps around the pitch at risky speed to release some pressure. This would be an interesting match, so much was for sure. To raise the adrenaline level, she pushed down the tip of the handle precisely, enjoying the rush in her stomach as she found herself shooting downwards and getting quicker. The grass was only so far when she finally turned the wood so she shot forward horizontally again, her toes almost brushing the tips of green. Definitely more adrenaline after that Snake Shot!, she thought grinning. Now to wait for something to happen...

Kim smiled as other players started to arrive. One of them happened to be a Slytherin...ugh. Kim mustered up a smile for her, but decided not to talk to her, she needed to focus, and not torment to early in the morning.
Kim flew over and gave Ella a high-five hello and then continued to practice and warm up. She wondered where the referee was...

Katherine heard the distant blowing of a whistle on a quidditch pitch, and sat up with a start. She was late! That was unacceptable! She pulled on her quidditch robes, and threw her hair in a ponytail. Breakfast would have to be skipped. She was so mad at herself, not having time to properly get ready. She had had a plan for really cute but intimidating make up! Ah well. Katherine grabbed her broom and ran up the stairs from the Slytherin Dorm. She finally reached the great hall, ran in, grabbed a peice of toast, and ran back out. Putting the peice of toast in her mouth, she took off running as fast as she could towards the pitch. Through the locker room, out on the pitch, and a quick kick off. Once in the air, she flew to the goal posts and caught her breath. She must have set a new record at getting down to the pitch. She was winded though, badly. She only hoped no one advanced on her goal before she caught her breath again. Katherine took one hand off of her broom and quickly ate her toast. The balls had just been released, and the game was starting. She couldn't wait.

Shausto rushed down the dormitory stairs, tripping down a few in her haste. She was late. again. How had she completely forgotten about quidditch? She really needed to learn how to balance her life—she had been so caught up in schoolwork… She heard a whistle and cheering from somewhere outside and groaned..so the game had started already. She paused in the middle of the stairs and turned to a wall, banging her forehead against the cold stone. After a few minutes, she realized she should probably be getting down to the pitch, so she turned and continued her awkward decent down the stairs. She had woken up late, thinking she had the morning to sleep in, before realizing she was supposed to be playing in the game. As she rushed out, she didn’t even realize she had still been wearing her blue striped pajama pants and plain black t-shirt, trying to get down to the changing rooms as fast as possible.
She sprinted down the hallways, worried about how empty they seemed, before reaching the great hall with delicious scents wafting out of the open doors. Her stomach forced her in and she grabbed a few pieces of bacon before her mind reminded her that she was supposed to be on the pitch right now. Shausto continued her sprint to the Ravenclaw changing rooms, pausing to wipe the grease from the bacon on her pants before reaching for her robes. As she drew on the robes, she realized her pajama pants were still visible, showing off her blue stripes down her legs. She pulled the bottom of her robes in front of her to hide the pants, knowing full well that it would be of no use when flying on a broom. She reached up to pull her fingers through her hair, too lazy to find her hair brush, and pulled it back into a tight ponytail, keeping the dark hair out of her face. Before she left the changing rooms in a rush, she paused before a mirror, inspecting her face. A large redish-blue lump was forming on her forehead from her fit of inanity earlier. Shausto rubbed it gently, hoping nobody would notice the bump nor the bright pj’s sticking out from the bottom of her uniform. She started to leave the room, but didn’t get more than a few steps before she realized she was missing something rather important. Also known as her broom stick. She retraced her steps to pick it up, averting her eyes from the mirror, and walked back to the door, pushing it open to go outside. A rush of warm air hit her in the face, and she suddenly regretted wearing her fleece pants. She knew she was late though, so she swung her leg over her broom and kicked off, swerving a bit from tiredness. She turned to see who all was there, three other ravies she noticed, looking around her to get her bearings and locate the different balls.

The balls were released and Polly flew straight into the middle grabbing hold of the ball under her arm. Sitting up on her broom she cried loudly 'LETS PLAY SOME QUIDDITCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!' at the top of her voice. Keeping her body low she soared ahead until she was infront of the other two Ravenclaw chasers. Taking a quick look behind her she prepaired herself to do a reverse pass. Sitting up on her broom she raised her arm and the quaffle and leaned back as if to throw it leavering her arm forward on the last moment she let it drop sending the quaffle behind her. Turning her broom round sharply Polly waited to see if one of the Ravenclaws would get the quaffle. This tactic was supposed to be used to confuse the opponent.

| [Slytherin Captain & Chaser]
"All this time, oohh all this time, you have had it in you - just sometimes need a push...."
A dreamy gaze had settled on the Slytherin girl's face as she let her thoughts wander to all the great songs in the world while practicing some manoeuvres. Unfortunately, this had led to her stop concentrating and missing the arrival of several - well, two - players, she realized once finally focussing again. Gemma wasn't exactly sure what had made her snap back to reality, but then she felt the tug around her neck. The little snake was actually paying more attention than she was!
She patted the head of the animal in a haste while already leaning forward. She wasn't sure - okay, she had no idea at all of where to head and what to do, but she could only guess the little thing was intelligent and had tried choking her for a reason. Her eyes scanned the pitch in a speed that made her look more than just insane, but at least she was able to spot red. Round red. Round red under a blue-robed arm.
Oh for the Penguins' sake, must you always miss out on those things? Balls released, Quaffle snatched. Of course your Keeper is there - you might want to greet her, Darling, by the way - but maybe you should do something about that stolen lovely baby, shouldn't you?
She growled at the voice, but gave a curt nod at her fellow teammate before pressing flat onto her broom and heading towards the Ravie. Polly, that was, and she was wearing a rather determined look on her face. She was also heading forward at not exactly low speed and getting ready to throw the greatest treasure on all the pitch... GO!, she heard the screech inside her head, and a second later she would have made it to the other, however plan-deprived, hadn't it been for a sudden and unexpected move: the Chaser threw the Quaffle. Backwards. Thank the Giraffe Heavens! A Reverse Pass...
"Ha! You really shouldn't have done that, my dear...now come here, Quaffle dear!"
As she talked, she pulled the shiny dark wood up and to the left sharply, clinging onto it for dear life with her legs. If she fell off now, she could as well send herself right to Pomfrey - no need for that, she decided. Instead the tight clutching helped her enough, she merely felt the air blowing almost violently, stinging her eyes, but at that moment her right hand left the handle and closed around what it had sought, the red pleasure.
Now I see, now I see. Seekers must really be getting a rush out of doing this each and every match...So what do we do now?
She couldn't quite answer her own question, and the snake didn't seem to have come up with a great plan either. Therefore, Gemma stuck to the easy and obvious. She didn't have a fellow Chaser from her own team on the pitch, but neither did she find a Keeper anywhere to block her from scoring. Why bother with greatness, then? There were after all times in a match when it all came down to scores. And this, the Slytherin figured with a smirk, is one of the times.
With the ball tucked safely under her arm, she made her way towards the goal posts on the far end of the pitch. She could make it: there was no Keeper to guard the hoops, no Beater to throw her off course, and the Chasers alone couldn't do anything to prevent her from scoring. This was her time, it had to be! The air, still and warm as it was, whipped against her face like icy gas, and she felt sweat trickling down her spine as she tried to focus all concentration on the task at hand. Seconds stretched into an eternity before she reached the Ravenclaw half, and she still had to go so far...
"It's the eye of the Basilisk, It's the thrill of the match. Flying up to the defence of our rivals! And the last known Salazar stalks Muggles in the night, And he's watching us all with the eyyyeee - of the basilisk!"
Her voice filled the air flitting past her, the melody helping her to let go of the surroundings and the nervousness. It was all about her and her pride to be a Slytherin, the leader of their team even - there was no chance she wasn't going to score this goal! Her face showed none of the emotion inside as she approached, flew farther, came closer, was almost there.
Gemma raised her arm, Quaffle in hand. This was the moment. The limb stretched behind her and shot forward in less than a second, fingers letting go of the ball at what would hopefully prove to be just the right moment. She had put all her power into this one throw, and there was no chance it wasn't going to go home! Regardless, she couldn't bear the anxiety and drew her broom handle towards the stands to enjoy the view of cheering Slytherins, all sure they'd win this match.

"Shoot" Polly cried as she watched the quaffle fall softly into Gemma's hands. Sulking slightly she began to sing out load 'GET YOUR HEAD IN THE GAME' and smiled as all the crowed joined in with her High school musical sining. After just watching the new movie she was in a high school muscial mood.
Watching as Gemma headed towards the goal. Polly nodded to her fellow Ravenclaws to follow her up the pitch. Hoping they would follow her so they could do a Triangle attack where they could trap the slytherin between all three of them and one of them get the quaffle of her.
If not Polly new that she would have to do a simple grab attack where as it states you have to just grab for the quaffle. Coming level with Gemma. Polly looked round for her fellow Ravenclaws. The quaffle was heading straight towards the middle goal and Polly winced. Pushing hard on her broom she headed towards it preparing to do a nose dive an old keeper move where you hit the quaffle with the tip of the broom and 'butt' it out of the way.
Polly knew that her chances of getting the quaffle out of the way were slim but at least she was trying.

| (Ravenclaw Chaser)
Kim groaned as the Quaffle was easily taken by the Slytherin Chaser. She should have been there to receive Polly’s pass. Kim knew she shouldn’t have been daydreaming….*sigh* It was so hard to focus with him on her mind.
No! Kim shook her head. This day was about Quidditch, not her lame love life. She pushed those thoughts out of her mind. Her eyes narrowed down on her target-Gemma Cullen. Kim took off with her mind fully focused on the task at hand, getting the Quaffle out of Raven territory.
Flying down the pitch on her Firebolt broom, Kim decided she would try to make Gemma drop the ball, then she would shoot towards the ground after it. Nodding in agreement at her own plan, Kim veered off to the left side of the Chaser with the ball. She swerved in suddenly, hoping the force would make her drop the Quaffle.
Kim knew this move wasn’t particularly polite, but whoever said Quidditch was? She waited impatiently to see what Gemma would do in response to her little move…

| [Slytherin Chaser]
No matter how hard she wanted to escape from watching the Quaffle making its way and instead just wait for the awesome ringing noise to tell her she had done it, Gemma couldn't help but turn around at the sudden arrival of two Ravies at either side. She wondered whether they would be able to prevent her move, as neither of them was a Keeper but both were indeed Chasers, but then again with Quidditch and those nerds you never knew and she chose to scowl in annoyance already - just in case.
"Hey...." She'd barely gotten around to saying something when the weirdness suddenly increased. What had been a possible attack she had prevented just in time by throwing shiny Quaffly-poo suddenly turned into insanity right before her. The one girl, which she knew was Polly, actually dove after the ball as if to retrieve it.
Isn't that a Keeper's job? Wait, are Chasers actually allowed to perform as another position? That's what she does, isn't it? Oh my Penguin, this is confusing, I didn't even do it when I thought it was illegal. Come ON, this can't be allowed. Why doesn't Amy blow that lovely whistle? Darn Ravie, you bet it was a loophole in the rules she found somewhere. Bloo-
"WOAH!"
It happened rarely, but the Slytherin had actually cut her own thought off by squeaking in surprise. Out of nowhere, the other Chaser girl suddenly came from the left and flew right towards her. What was that moron thinking? 'Yay, let's go scare the Slytherin off the broom and continue between almost just us birdies?'
"Excuse me?????" Gemma hoped the girl would somehow just hear the amount of question marks she put behind those two words. "What the heck do you think you were just doing? I'm just hovering harmlessly in the air here, this is not even a game situation but just me in the air, on my broom, waiting for something to happen. What ARE you, a human Bludger? Crazy nutter...."
Finally her little rant drifted off into angry muttering as she hoped to have screamed some sense into the other. Hadn't someone said that Ravenclaws were supposed to be intelligent, clever, maybe a little tricky, but always goody-two-shoes people? Why the candy cane did they suddenly decide to break all rules? Gemma couldn't help but huff again in annoyance as she waited for anything to happen, most hopefully Amy giving some signal that things were going majorly wrong here before she'd have to resort to the more Slytherin measures...
