| (Gryffindor Chaser)
Erika woke to the sound of her alarm, the sound continuing to ring in her ears. Yawning she rolled out of bed sliding into her slippers. Light peaked through the window, as she pulled the curtains open Erika smiled. For the first time, perfect weather. Looking around the room she spotted a faded red uniform. Once dressed she ran down the winding stairs.
"Morning." She greeted the passing Gryffindors in the corridor, she felt so alive and ready to play. Everyone waved and several cheered. As they did she shouted back in agreement followed by a par of thumbs. Across the stone bridge to the Eastern Courtyard she ran onto the pitch, broom in hand. Erika held tight and kicked into the air, no need for the lockers.
"Oh thank God!" She shouted thankful for the sun and not a single cloud in sight. "I would DIE if it rained." Erika flew high and scanned the skies for players. She took the time to practice her speed and stretch her arm for the throws to make. Kicking she flew forward several yards, after which she tucked in her body and dropped in mid air. As she fell she geared into motion, she called this 'The Escape' used to escape from the enemy as a target and the target of a sent Bludger.
The trauma from her previous attack scarred her for life and she felt she needed to be prepared. To fall hundreds of feet in the air would be certain of devastating injury. The second move she needed to practice was her speed. Though she had perfected her usual run she needed to practice how to hold the ball safely at that moment, this by the name of The Lion's Prowl. Later, she would throw the ball to an assuring ten points.

She was royally annoyed as she sat up in her bed, biting her lip to supress an unpleasant fit of rage. Each and every time she had a bloody match with her team, she would sleep in and arrive on the pitch late, and this one time she was to go to a match for another reason, she was well awake far too early. Something like an hour left until the match would start, and here she sat ready to get dressed and leave. Ugh! With an annoyed huff, she got up and strode over to an armchair in the corner of the room.
Finally a more typical smirk changed the angry features of the Slytherin face as she checked out the clothes readily waiting for her: black trousers and a green and silver themed hoodie with her name embroidered onto the back. Nobody had said she wouldn't be allowed to represent her own team while commenting the match of two other ones.
Yeah, and even if somebody had said so you wouldn't care, would you? Now get your behind downstairs, you've got all the time in the world for a heavenly breakfast before you get onto the pitch. And take your wand, will you? You never know just what might happen in that Commentator Box....
She giggled at the voice inside her mind, giving the usual sweet advice. She did comply, though, and also remembered to grab some chocolate bars and peppermint candy in case either energy or her voice would not respond well to whatever possible weather circumstances would await her outside or the endless talking and maybe even shouting. After that, she walked out of the dorm and common room, glaring at a first year on her way and laughing quietly at his timid reaction. God, how she loved being a Slytherin!
The feeling just grew when she approached the Slytherin table in the Great Hall and a little girl scrambled away from the seat Gemma occupied at every lunch and dinner. Obviously people weren't used to her attending the first meal of the day and thought they could ignore the order at that time - pah. I'll show them, those little foolish youngens. Her hand was already closing around her wand as the smell of fresh muffins invaded her nostrils. Really, I will. Someday.
Her breakfast lasted more than an hour, in the end, and every now and then she threw glances at the ceiling, fearing that her lovely hoodie would make her feel horrible outside, if the blue and sunny sky was any indication of the temperature she was going to be greeted by. Of course good weather was always nice, but yeah, not quite always. She was right in her assumption, Gemma figured once stepping outside, and before she even stepped into the cabin she felt the first driplet of sweat running down her spine.
Eww, now this will be some stupid match...
She sat down in the chair with a small sigh and surveyed the pitch - one lonesome figure and some balls. Ideal for establishing the right vibes, but other than that no fun commenting probably. She was just very glad there was no teacher around so far and she could enjoy a little freedom. She grabbed the magical megaphone - wow, this thing is disgustingly Muggle when you could use a simple Sonorus - and lifted it to her lips to speak to the people in the stands. Of course before she could utter a word she felt someone staring at her, and indeed McGonagall stood in the doorway, lips the usual tight line indicating she was dealing with a Slytherin.
"Why hello Professor," Gemma mumbled with a fake smile - why lose the job before I ever started? - and then turned around again to focus on what she was here to do.
"Hello my fellow students, and welcome to the latest hila- ahem, interesting game. Today we will see the two id...i.." - she barely bit back the work idiotic - "well-respected teams Gryffindor and.....and Hufflepuff fighting each other for precious points!"
The Slytherin had spotted the figure once more just in time to notice she wore a red and gold uniform, but for the second team she had almost been unable to figure out whether it was Huffies or Ravies. Fortunately she'd noted it down the night before, knowing herself well, and slipped the note inside her own pocket, out of which she'd retrieved it to escape annoyed groans and a smug McGee.
"Then again, will we really be seeing that match? So far we only have one lone figure on the team, and if it's one it must be a brave Gryffie girl, mustn't it? Let's hear some for the girl who's on the pitch all on her own - enjoy your applause, Chaser!"
Naturally Gemma didn't know the name of the girl, but the arm-stretching movement combined with a lack of bat or special gloves had tipped her off enough to know this was a Chaser. A smirk adorned her lips - she was perfect. Behind her, she could feel the old hag glaring daggers into her bag, and she figured cat woman actually understood the concept of irony - who'd have guessed?
"Okay, this is not exactly the most exciting match, is it? We have the balls released, and the one person on the pitch doesn't even head for the Quaffle. What do you say, shouldn't we all have a little fun at least? Look at yourselves, slumped in your stands and waiting for something to happen. Lions, why don't you roar for your one single representator? Make some noise, Gryffindorks!"
As she had expected, the fans clad in the most royal of colours cheered and actually roared, not even noticing her little stab as it seemed. Of course kitty cat had heard it, and the noise she made was extremely reminiscent of Umbrige's unnerving harrumphing thingies. Not that Gemma would let her notice, though, since she found this job was actually quite funny.
"Well well well...now Badger boys and girls, surely you can do better than that?! I know your team is not even on the pitch, but let's see you've got it in you nontheless! On the count of three, cheer for your life my dears! One....twoo....THREE!"
Once more the pitch seemed to vibrate from the utter noise, but she had to admit the Gryffies had been true to their nature and had managed a definitely more impressive sound. Now she witnessed a fan battle between both camps, each trying to overpower the other in the boredom this match constituted. A giddy feeling of power flowed through her veins, and she happily unwrapped and devoured one of the bars while listening to the noise outside the cabin. McGonagall threw her annoyed glance after annoyed glance, but Gemma just smiled the fakest, sweetest way she could and waited for some more action to continue her commentator job in another satisfying way.

Erika smirked listening to the commentator high in the booths hugging her microphone. There was no hope on the horrizon. She searched deep knowing someone would come and fight. It wasn’t her fault she was alone, the match forgotten. The continuous applause and shouts from her fellow Gryffindors was a warming sound.
"Help..." She muttered leaning her head in her arms perfectly balanced on her broom. As she looked up towards the booth where once more professors sat as hopeless as anyone else.
"What now?" She shouted anger underneath her soft voice. "There is no one to play!"

Gemma watched the Gryffindor sitting all alone on her broom, head buried in her arms and muttering with a mixture of anger and sadness painted onto what could be seen of her face. For a second, she was ready to feel sympathy for the other, but luckily that moment passed early enough to keep her from acting on it.
Pitying a Gryffie, really what would that have made Slytherin look like? I can't believe you'd even consider any such thing for a second! Now let's see, anything worth commenting on happening? Uuh, no. No such luck. So what now, huh? Well, be a good commentator nontheless I say. Do something, for Giraffe's sake!
"What now? There is no one to play!"
Just as the exclamation had left the Chaser's lips, a figure showed up at the Huffie entrance, a girl carrying the all-telling bat. A Beater meant action, the Slytherin knew and a smirk crept onto her features once more. And indeed, it wasn't even a minute before she shot towards a black ball and shot it right at the enemy. Unfortunately, said enemy needed equally as few time to escape the Bludger safely, using a move that looked complicated and confusing - however it was successful.
"And there we see some action. Huffies, make some noise for your new arrival, she might just have saved your ... well... your reputation." The words '...if you have one!' were just spinning through her mind, unspoken but probably understood by the crowd anyway. Nontheless, the Badgers almost went wild in their stands, obviously overjoyed to find some representation in the hopeless match. "We already saw the beginning of that, there flies a Bludger but hey, dodged already and...what shall happen now? Hufflepuff fighting to hurt, Gryffindor fighting to score? Well, I doubt there's another option, so let's hear some more and wait for whatever the Quidditch Gods meant for us to happen!"

"No, you 1975 Gibson Marauder, that's silly! Don't poke me!" Skie mumbled vaguely in her sleep as she dreamed of beautiful guitars. "Oh, Les Paul Flying V!" Her dreams, though, unfortunately ended in the guitar being smashed by a rabid monkey with three heads and eight arms. Sitting upright in a cold sweat, Skie began to breathe again when she realized that no guitars were being smashed in her presence. "Thank the Gods of Music!" Falling back into depression, though, because there were no nice guitars for her to play, Skie suddenly realized that there was something else on her mind, something that had been poking at the back of her head for the last few days. "HOLEY FLIPPING PIGS ON BROOMSTICKS! I HAVE A GAME!" Jumping up from her bed as if stung by a bee, Skie quickly traded her warm night clothes for a quidditch outfit and dashed down the stairs like a cat fleeing from a rabid doberman.
"NO! MOVE YOU DARN USELESS SACKS OF BROKEN WANDS WITH LESS MAGIC THAN THE TAIL OF A TADPOLE!" Literally pushing past the hordes of people that seemed to have gravitated into the spot right in front of her, Skie took out her wand and brandished it menacingly while still running. "Next one to get in my way is... well, they're in trouble!" Finally, the hormone raging teens that littered the halls and stairways dispersed, trying to avoid the psychotic girl in Hufflepuff robes. Laughing evilly to herself, Skie ran through the locker room, grabbed her quidditch silks and pulled Timothy off the rack crooning a love song to her beloved broom. "I love you more than I love life itself, but still not as much as Martin acoustic guitar," Skie whispered to her Timothy. Mounting up, Skie lifted herself in the air and saw with dismay that Gryffindor already had a hold on the pitch. Well, at least Rosie's here
