I'm going to start off suggesting that Stephy be elected captain. If I'm not mistaken, she is the most experienced player. Also, she was the one who did the work assembling the team. If I get a burst of creativity, I will suggest an idea for a team name. Perhaps I'll get really crazy and suggest other ideas.

Okay, so I say we start off with a list in this thread here on which we can cross off whatever things we finished and post the respective results as well.

Elect a Team Captain
Decide which player gets which position? (There should be at least 3 formations, you won't all play the same position the entire Cup)
Pick a name for the Team
Chose a mascot (purple hippo and her offspring are out of bounds)
Design your Quidditch Robes (present an image/graphic for each team player.
Get a Sponsor (provide the sponsor logo as well as a brief letter saying why they decided to support you as a team)
Carefully pick your brooms and explain why you decided on those particular brooms, the entire team does not need to have the same broom (warning: a team with Firebolts only claiming they're the best brooms will lack in originality points)

As for the formations, I'm happy to play Chaser most of the time, then Beater as well and probably Keeper, but I would be pretty happy if I didn't have to be the Seeker. I'm just, well, not exactly the most detail-oriented person, you could say, so I'd probably totally forget about the little Snitchy-poo xD

Of course our name, mascot, uniforms and sponsors should all fit together, and the name will probably be the place to start. I'm just gonna give some key words that come to my mind, maybe we can make something of it xD

cages, poking, house unity, randomness, craziness, fun, penguins xD, the team of eight ^_^

, aspiring, experienced (I do believe all of us played at least some games, right?), unique, mixed (for there be no other team with a guy TEAM 1 Aayes

), freak-ish, creative, trouble XD

I think that was my input for now, I don't want my brain to explode all over the compy grin

I prefer beater first and foremost. Especially if it means that I can use the bat on my boyfriend. Ha ha.

Anyway, I've been seeker before and it wasn't half bad. I could also do chaser. I've never played keeper, so I don't know if I'd be any good. I suppose there's only one way to find out.

DUCK!! We must have a duck XD... It can be a green/ blue/ red/ yellow duck for all of the house colors XD

and we can be called the Patomigos Its pato and amigos put together which pato means duck and amigos mean friends XD... Well be the duck friends XD

now onto what positions I shall be. I would like Beater, Chaser and maybe a seeker. I might be okay with that. I would enable me to be super random a lot XD

So I say lets decide on a Captain. I say we should also pick someone to be team captain and than we can agree on a name and mascot and I think the rest will come easily afterwards

I know that. We just have to pick three positisons that we would perfer. So pick anything and whatever one you really want just shout that as well and I guess I could make it more organized and put the one that people really want first XD

I say that we wait til the end of this week to decide on team captain TEAM 1 436937

and I agree with the color. We could have yellow for the duck but we might want to throw in other colors. I believe we have people from every house. Why not try to combine them together??

Ummm....brown = uber ugly??

I like the two colours combination including purple, but brown is just so....ewww. Kinda don't like it at all.

And I love the idea of having different sets of Quidditch wear, and also that of off-pitch clothing to sell and raise money - it's something cool and new :D

Oh, and I believe we shouldn't just google outfits and then colour them differently, that's lame and I guess it'd make us look real lazy. And uncaring. And just not trying hard enough. I say we design our own outfits, and then colour them on the compy.
And maybe we could all have individual outfits that show our personalities, like one might opt for the short skirt and tight top and someone else might go all out with a hoodie and sweat pants or such.
Since Rai demanded an image for every player anyway, ya know xD

Oh I could do colouring, by the way. I'm not perfect, but I do believe I'm pretty good, and I like to do colouring stuff :D

As for the sponsor, when we use a duck mascot maybe we could get Scrooge McDuck to invest his precious money to help our team, or else Donald & Daisy might be willing to scrape together their last dimes. Hey, the whole town of Duckburg might feel like helping xD

Or we might look to Michael Bedard for support, who draws these fun cartoon duck painting things xD -> Like this one! <-

I'm with Gemma. I really don't like the idea of brown. Actually, I liked the Patomigos idea. I especially like doing all the house colors. It shows unity and I like that a lot. Also, I like the thought of individualized uniforms, but I'd like to see them have a common thread. It seems so unorganized for everyone to wear their own thing.

I thought that maybe the colours could be the thing that links them, as well as the duckie that'd be somewhere on there. Maybe a huge duck on the back and a small one above the chest or something, and as said the colour scheme we'd all have in common.

I'd also like to add that as I'm up there as a suggested Captain (thanks Stephy TEAM 1 436937

), I got some experience with it but not too much, and I'd happily see you take over that position ^_^

I'd like to be Co-Cap or something, of course, but I don't have to be, I'd be just as glad to simply be part of our coooool team :D

I love who our sponser are going to be XD It goes well with our mascot but i don't think Scrooge would give up his money. We'll just send people out with tin cans and gather some money around duckburg XD

and I think that our outfits should all have the same colors on it and we could even create a logo that they all could have that way if they have the logo than we can make each of our outfits as different as possible. I like the idea of trying to put all of the house colors in there since we have a member from each house. Like Pamela said it will how house unity

As for the fancy saying we'll think of something if we have some time left. How does that sound Rose?

As far as co-captain, my vote goes for Gemma.

A color idea I had was a neon green, purple, and black combo. I'm not sure how that would really work, though. It's kind of Halloween-tastic and a bit pseudo-goth. My thinking was yellow (Hufflepuff) + blue (Ravenclaw) = green (Slytherin), blue + red (Gryffie) = purple. Black is just thrown in to be a base. It's a stretch, but it represents all houses without being predictable. I have a feeling other teams are probably considering the idea of going with the house unity idea.

Ummmm, I know that the houses unite idea is great and a classic and all, but is there any way we can be penalized for use of 'over-color'? Maybe someone should spy *cough* on another team's thread ONLY to make sure the aren't doing that to. I mean, it's a good idea, but if everyone on the pitch is flying around in red, yellow, blue, and green, I know my eyes are going to hurt! XD

So I vote stephy for Catain, and Gemma for Co because I have been in more matches with her than Vi and have seen her post action more ^^

So here's what I'm thinking, why don't we draw away from from those colors and pick our own colors. Make our team different and not go with the house colors.

and Rose I dont think we can be penalyzed for other color... if so Rai will just have to deal with it XD

well we want our outfits to have something in common. I say we come up with a logo that will go on each of our outfits and than we can have the basic colors and maybe if you want you can add colors to your own but we don't want to make them too different nor do we want they all to be the same. How about we each try to design what we want and than we'll try to combine them or vote on them or something. Just try to create it and if you can;t create it than just try to describe it as well as possible to paint a picture in our heads.

I'd suggest we keep purple as one of the common colours, it is after all the colour of the HE soemhow and all that xD And maybe we can combine that with black? Because it's pretty close to brown (which is the ugly Nazi colour therefore I don't like it TEAM 1 Aayes

), it's a basic colour, and I guess if we just had black and purple people wouldn't jump to the conclusion that black is Hufflepuff-y :D

And I think it'd be cool if everyone who's got a digital camera or a scanner or something could maybe design their own outfit, and then one of us could colour them all. And for those who couldn't get their designs online, they'd just tell us or post some pics similar to their idea, and then we could still try and draw it for them.

I vote for myself as the Co-Captain, if I can that is - if that's not allowed I'm just gonna abstain from voting TEAM 1 410894

Oh, by the way if we keep our outfits pretty plain we could still make the duck somewhat more colourful, like use the same base colours of rit as for the outfits, but colour the details in the house colours or something like that, ya know? :D

I designed something for myself. It's not great, but it suits me. As soon as I can get it uploaded to photobucket (I can't do so at work), I'll pop it up. I did one for summer, then I modified it for spring/fall and a second time for winter. It mostly looks pathetic, especially the Paint modifications.
