2ND ROUND TEAM DUELS Team C .V. Team D

2nd round duels - instructions tells you which teams you are in. Please ONLY team members post here.

Please put your team in brackets on EVERY post!

This will last 5 days and each person will duel for their side in as many posts as they can (no double posting!)

This duel can be both known spells and made up ones, remembering to put in brackets what the made up ones do!

Points will be awarded for both the individual and also team work!

TEAM D

::Kitkat walked to her place in the room::

"Protego maximus"

::At least she was ready, now all she had to do was wait for the others

(Team C)

::Jennifer walked into the dueling hall."I suppose we're the only ones here today KitKat. Well good luck." She smiled at Kitkat and held up her wand. "Protego!" [shield spell] She then pointed the wand at KitKat."Ferreus Profusum Unda!" [a hard steady stream of water streamed straight at her opponent. This was a much stronger version of aguementa.::

(Team D)

::Pad walk in the room and takes a spot next to kitkat.
"Not the only two here." He smiles and whipps out his wand::

(Team C)

"So right on that one, Pad" added Marie, coming into the room at the same moment

She quickly grabbed her wand and whispered something in Jen's ear

(TEAM D)
::"You guys ready?!?" Pad says as he crouches down to the ground slightly::

(Team C)

::Jen notices that Padfoot did not put a shield spell up.::

"Relashio !" she shouted sending a stream of hot boiling water right at Padfoot.::

(Team D)

::Pad does a non-verbal spell and blocked the water. It also directed the water back towards Jen::

(GOOD JOB JEN!)

(Team C)

"Thanks!" she instantly held out her wand. "Protego." The hot water fell away from her. She decided to use the same spell she used in her last duel with WL. "Graviso Mitis!" The white glittering anti- gravity mist surrounded KitKat and Padfoot. Now it wouldn't move until someone stepped into it.::

(Thanks alot Padfoot! You're not bad either! LoL)

(Team D)

::Kitkat blinked as the mist surrounded her. She could barely see the oposing team.::

"anti caliga deleo....sepulchrum traho"
(anti mist wiper)...(Gravity pull)

::She wasnt sure whether it has cleared the mist for the others, but at least she could see the other team and keep her feet on the floor::

"Accio team C wands"

(TEAM D)

::Pad grabs one wand and drops it to the ground. Wind-gar-de-am leveosa!" (Did i spell that riihgt?) then Jen flew up into the air...::

(Team C)

::As Jen flew into the air, she reached out for her wand. "Accio wand." The wand that Padfoot dropped flew into her hand. While she was in the air she decided to take advantage of the fact that she was over their heads.::


"Pluvia Luxlucis," she said with a swish of her wand. [a rain of silvery fire lighting came raining down on Padfoot and KitKat.]

::She twirled around in the air over them.::

(Team C)

:Since the spell had been casted on Jen only, Marie remained on her two feet, firm on the ground. She then noticed that her wand hadn't been grabbed by anybody and was still lying on the floor, a few inches away from Kitkat. She quickly rushed toward it, falling on the ground, but succeding into taking her wand in the process. As Jen was attacking Kit and Pad from the roof, Marie decided to attack them in the position she was. She pointed her want at her opponents and used the same spell that Jen has used:

"Pluvia Luxlucis"

:She then rolled on the side to avoid the spell that had been sent by Jen, and which was coming toward her too, since she was under her:

::Pad was hit by a spell and went flying back. He hit the back wall and blood slwooly came out from his head. He got up though. "That won't stop Padie!" He then fell to the ground. "It willl just slow me down..."::

"Accio umbreller"

::The umbreller sores into kitkats hand just in time to protect her from the silver lightning. ::

"Time to play defensive...infragilis contego" (unbreakable shield)

"Tidal undo" (tidal wave)

::Kitkat watches as the huge wave of water rushes towards the oposing team::

::"Good Job Kitkat!" Pad said as his head hit the ground agin.::

(Team C)

::Roman rushed into the room and up towards his teammates, still fiddling with the clasp of his robes::

"Sorry I'm late girls, it was only when I entered the common room that I realised I had put on a pink shirt again. What did I miss?"

::Turning away from his teammates and towards his opponents, Roman saw the wall of water hurriedly moving towards them::

"Oh bother ... Well, I'd say a bit of teamwork is in order to stop this one. Shields up now."

::Muttering up a magical shield as strong as it could possibly be, he aimed it in front of them and watched as it joined together with his combined teams protegos and with a bit of a struggle they were able to keep back the massive tidal wave until the spell against them was exhausted::[/i]

(Team C)

::Jen smiled gratefully at Roman.::

"How many times do I have to tell you? Pink is so not your color." She said with a laugh. She suddenly noticed all the water still on the ground. "What a waste of water. Let's do something with it shall we? Glace Poignards!" She said with a swish of her wand. The water suddenly became ice on Padfoot and Kitkat's side making it very slippery. While all the water on Team C's side became ice daggers that flew toward team D dangerously.::

(TEAM D)
::Pad gets up and says "GOOD Job Lily!!!" Pad then fell back down. "Yeah if some one new a healing charm..." He said from the ground.Then Pad uses a nonverbial spell and a shield pops up.

(team C)

::Stuck up in the air, Jen reached out wand cast the only spell she could think of. "Alica Laxo!" [means spell undone]. As all her teammates hit the ground hard, she gave a grimace. "Sorry guys." she said with concern. She jumped up quickly, trying to ignore the stinging pain in her knees. She raised her wand at team D and chanted "Saeta Incrementum!" She watched as the hair on Team D's bodies started to grow uncontrollably, their hair, eyebrows..everywhere!::

(TEAM D)

::Pad then used the spell "Alica Laxo!" Then his hair stopped growing::

[Team C]

::Roman and his the rest of his team dropped to the ground with a thud. He winced as his shoulder connected with the hard floor and he was able to see his supposed queen wandered over to Padfoot looking far too pleased with herself::

(Thanks Lily, I'm really feeling the love right now, my darling.)

::Struggling free of the stupid ropes Roman quickly helped his team out of their own binds and got back to his feet, wand in hand. Thinking quickly he turned his wand towards his chest::

"Validus Spiritus." He muttered and felt his chest expand. (I know I'm supposed to be quitting, but this is a special occassion.)

::The moment his lungs were full to near bursting point, Roman held his wand in front of his face, remembering his training under his Italian instructor and trying his hardest to remember the language, he quietly said, "Sigaretta Nuvola."

::Roman watched as the sickly white-grey smoke came whirling from the tip of his wand very quickly until a large cloud was just above his head. The putrid smell almost made him vomit. (Why ever did I smoke this stuff?) Remembering his plan he used the loaded breath in his chest and blew the cloud of cigarette smoke over towards the other team::

::In moments it was surrounding them until he could only see fuzzy outlines of team D inside, coughing and gagging inside the whirling cloud. Making out the form of Lily still near Padfoot, Roman sent a stinging hex her way, knowing he'd regretted it and being slightly relieved when he heard Pads cry of pain instead of Lilys::

(TEAM D!!)
::"PROTEGO MAXIMAS!!" Then a bright shelid pops up around pad::

(Team C)

"Man there's no mercy in these duels anymore are there?" Jen asked Roman with a faint smile. She raised her wand again and asked the others. "Might as well make this to our own advantage shall we?" She casted a spell on her teammates and herself. "Fio Recedo! [become invisble] Velox Lulucis! [become as fast as lighting] Now we could be fast, invisble, and they won't be able to jinx us well because we're so small and fast. It'll be hard to aim!"

::As an test, Jen quickly ran to Padfoot and Lily and casted a boogey bat hex on them and ran away. Just as she thought, they didn't see her coming and tiny little bats started flapping their wings on their faces. She ran up to them again and placed the Total Body Bind on their wand hand (because of her tiny magic she couldn't do it to their whole body). Running fast around the room, she motioned the rest of the team to join her.::

(team C)

::Rip did some quick thinking and told her plan to the rest of Team C::

"So, here's what we do. Two hours ago, before we started the duel, i came into the room and placed the key to this cage on the floor"

::All of team C looked down at the ground and saw a large metal key appear::

"How did i know that it would be there i hear you ask? Well, i'll tell you shall I. I used Bill and Ted's time travel machine which I conjured, and went forwards in time and saw us in a cage. I then went back to the beginning of the duel and secretly hid the key. Now, all we have to do is open the cage"

::Rip picked up the key and unlocked the cage::

"When travelling forwards in time two hours ago, i also saw our next move, and let me just say," she gave team D, who were looking rather confuzzled, a mocking stare,"That i wouldn't want to be in your shoes right now."

::Team C prepared for their next attack. They pointed their wands behind team D and shouted "Conjurus Farmus Gilesus and hisus mucketh spredeth"

::An elderly farmer sitting atop a hulk of machinery, grinned toothily, pulled a lever and all of team D were covered in sloppy cow and horse manure::

"Oo-arrrr" team C cried like famers in victory.::

(Team C)

::Lily spun the cage round so much, that each member of team C flew out of the gaps in the bars.::

::Rip grimaced as she hit the hard, stone floor. She quickly got to her feet and shouted "Engorgio!" Team C were now back to normal size. They prepared themsleves and went to their next spell::

"Fleas!" they shouted in unison, and all of team D started scratching as they got covered in teeny weeny fleas::

(TEAM D!)

::Pad does a non-verbal spell and the fleas left his team and him!! He then did a non-verbal and the other team started torar. Pad made them think they where tigers::

(Team C)

::Jen let out a loud roar and pounced on Padfoot and Lily, pushing them to the ground. Able to keep her wits about her, Jenn decided to conjure up a few lions for the other team to play with. "Leo Videor!" [Lions appear] Six feriocious lions erupted from the end of her wand and pounded over to Team D with their shiney sharp claws outstretched glinting in the sunlight.::

"Rooar Roshhh!!" Jen roared. lol [Lion for Pin them down!]::

(team D)

::kitkats eyes widened as the lions began to near her team. Thinking quickly she shouted::

"conjure los osos hungy" (conjure hungry bears in spanish)

::Grinning five hungry bears appeared in front of her and began to fight the lions. Whilst that was happening, kitkat figured she needed to make up for lost time::

"Frost und Trümmer" (freeze and shatter in german)
::Kitkat said as she pointed her wand towards jennifer::

(Team C)

::While Team D were distracted by the lion/bear fight, Team C crept round to behind Team D, and took them unawares.

She conjured a record player, and set it going. The warbling voice of Neil Diamond singing "Sweet Caroline", followed by "Crackling Rose" filled the auditorium. Team D fell to the floor in pain.

Two of the members of Team C then conjure a tank of water, while the other two members levitated Team D and put them in the tank. The tank was full of sharks and piranhas.::
