Now I'm still workign on mine and I have come to the conclusion that I cannot draw XD

well since we're all busy designing our outfits lets start on coming up with our brooms.

We all wanted to have a differnt broom for the different positions:

Keeper
Seeker
Beater
Chaser

Now all we have to do it come up with a name and what makes them so special. Any suggestions??

I think an ideal keeper's broom would make it easy for them to make sudden course corrections without being too risky. It wouldn't necessarily have to be too fast. Rather, it should be easy to control. Since keeper's don't travel far, it might be worse to have it go naught to 60 in .5 seconds.

Seekers' brooms should be fast, on the other hand. Fast and agile, like the Firebolt.

Beaters and chasers could probably have the same or a similar sort of broom. They would both need sturdy braking charms. The beaters often need to stop suddenly, and sometimes the chasers do too. Both should be fast, but they wouldn't necessarily be as fast as the Seeker's broom.

The names should reflect the traits. Lame example being The Cheetah for a Seeker's broom.

Also...here's my design. I actually lost the fall/spring and winter versions. The fall/spring is nearly identical, but it's short sleeve instead of halter style. The shorts are now pants (still with the color at the bottom), and it's a jumpsuit style. The winter one is just the fall one with a black long sleeve shirt beneath. The white bits are not an attempt to make it look sparkly. That was the use of airbrush. It would be made of a Lycra-like material. I went with purple/black because that's my favorite of the color options offered so far. I was thinking the logo could go on the belly part.

I'm currently trying to design my uniform thingos, but well I'm also trying to do about a thousand other things, so you might have to wait a while xD I do have some ideas pinned down in my head, though :D

Pamela I like the ideas you cam up for the brooms.

So the Keeper's broom would be more control and less speed. As for a name. Umm... what about The Controller, Director, Keepoller... I dunno. XD

And the Seekers broom should fast and agile. Name: Nimble, Thunderslash, Viper, maybe something else

Beaters and Chaser: Sturdy braking charms, fast but not as fast as Seeker's, Might also need to be able to make sharp turns and be able to acclerate quickly. Names: The boomsling, Quickfire (took that one from my phone XD), Oblivator, I dunno. Thats my suggestions XD

But really, I would like to do that. And I have some ideas for winter outfits.

I think that Seeker should have a Firebolt (for shiznet! XD), Keeper should have maybe...I don't know XD, Chasers should maybe have a Nimbus 2000, nothing horribly fancy and you can't go wring with it ^^, and the Beaters should have a Nimbus 2001? They look fast and furious to me....

Yea I wanted to go simple cause I ddin't want a whole bunch of change... AND I GOT A CAPE!!! I'm like super women.., but i won't wear it during a match. Juyst to wear as I get to the pitch than I'll take it off. I don't want the other team choking me or something. That would be horrible. My dying cause my cape choked me to death. XD

My Ideas:

Seeker's broom - Able to move very fast. High acceleration in general. Easy to control at top speeds. Good turn radius. Name - The Cheetah.

Keeper's broom - Able to make quick course corrections. Not too fast, more agile. Sturdy. Easy to control. Good cushion charm (they don't see as much action, so they'd be less likely to be distracted from the discomfort). Name - The Gazelle (because they are agile, make quick course corrections, and are fast) or Wildebeast (sp?).

Chaser & Beaters' brooms - Good braking charm. Fast, but not extremely so. Good turn radius for quick change-overs in the case of Chasers. Name - The Serval (they're a medium African cat. They remind me of a smaller, but still very efficient version of a cheetah)

I like the thought of all the brooms having a common thread, such as animals native to Africa.

Honestly, if someone could come up with a better name than the serval, that would be good. I thought it was kind of lame, but I couldn't find anything that fit better. I don't know that many people will know what it is.

I think the serval sounds like a good canidate for the Seeker's broom and I also think that the Gazelle is perfect for the Kepper's.
