Thierry sighed, pushing her hair back some. She made sure the curls in her hair stayed in place as she as she placed her white and sapphire mask on. Her dressed was long but puffy at the waist and she slipped her shoes on, wondering why the hell she was going anyway.

Thierry held her hand out for him, looking down at him. She didnt want to talk, it would give her away. She swallowed the fear of rejection back and turned her head to the side, waiting. "Come on." She said softly. She looked around for a few seconds before looking back at him.

it seemed like he kept staring at her hand forever, but it couldn't ahve been more then a handful of seconds, could it

when he heard her insistance he swalowed and resigned himself to go have a dance. sitting here didn't help him anyhow

he took her hand and got to his feet

Thierry smiled at him, leading him to the dance floor. She laid her hand on his shoulder before looking down at her feet. And thats where she plan ended. She just realised, she didnt know how to dance and she felt her face grow a bit hot before she shook her head and looked back at him.

he let himself being led to the dance floor and felt how she was positioning them to start a dance, but then she stopped and they just stood there for a while until

''Oh yeah, boys are supposed to lead huh. forgot for a moment, sorry'' and with that he started them off in a dance

Violet watched over her wine glass at Mar and Thierry. Of course, she knew it was her. It would take more then what she had used to cover that blood scent. She growled softly before pushing her glass into someone's hand. Thierry smiled sheepishly and followed along with him. After the song had stopped, she moved back, looking down. Violet smirked before standing up on the stage. "It's almost midnight...everyone is to stay where they are...and the mask and spells are to come off." She said, staring right into Thierry's widen eyes.

they had a nice dance where neither said anything, they merely enjoyed the dance

he was a bit surprised when the dance ended and violet anounced they had to stay put and remove their masks. he had no idea that was supposed to happen but seeing as everyone around started doing so he just shrugged and complied, most here knew each other anyway

Thierry licked her lips nervously, but didnt move. "Everyone..." Violet hissed towards her. Thierry shook her head, tears building in her eyes again. She knew she was over reacting, but she didnt want to.

even with the masks and charms off, for those that had them, there were plenty off people he couldn't recognise. The more obvious once were known by everyone off course

he heard violet get ticked off and when he turned he noticed that his mistery dance partner still had her mask on

''something wrong?'' he asked her

Thierry narrowed her eyes before ripping her mask off. She snapped her fingers once and her brown hair changed back to the shocking red it was. She looked at Mar for a few seconds before walking away from him, wiping her eyes.

the whole room seemed to have stopped and look at them

he just looked at her curiously, time seemed to have freezed
then suddenly she tore her mask away and canceled the charms

he was dumbfounded, there she stood and they had just shared a dance
why didn't she tell him it was her? did she think he wouldn't have danced with her if she had?

she started to walk away from him...again

'wait'' he pleaded at her retreating back

Thierry didnt listen to him and she stormed off to the stairs, only to trip as she did so. She growled, tearing her shoes off and sitting there, glaring at the wall. Violet smirked before clapping. "Conitue" She said to the band who started off where they left off.

she didn't stop nor did she say anything, she just kept running

so he started after her, he didn't want to lose her again now that they had met again
and there was the mystery of their missing link

after a few turns he found her on the stairs, sitting
he stopped his pursuit and leaned against the wall, waiting for her to speak

"You ignored me again." She said, looking down at her feet. Her hair hung around her face as she hung her head down. "I called and you ignored me." She whispered before looking back at him. "Why? Why do you keep ignoring me? Dont you want me?" She asked him softly.

''What?'' he splurted in surprise ''you called me again? I-I did't hear you'' he said defeated, why couldn't he hear her
''but I didn't ignore you, I wouldn't, I swear. I've been wanting you to call on me ever since you left that day. Something seems to be interfering with our link. Call me'' he asked her

Thierry closed her eyes and called his name threw the link they had. After a few seconds, she opened her eyes. "You dont answer..." She whispered, wiping at her eyes again. She looked up to see if someone had followed him. When she didnt see anyone, she laid back on the stairs, looking up.

he looked at her with wide eyes, she was right he didn't hear a thing but there was something else

''I don't hear you but can you do that one more time, please''

Thierry sat back up and nodded. She closed her eyes, calling him once again. When he didnt answer, her eyes opened. "See, you dont want me! You dont ever answer me!" she shouted, standing up.

''NOno!! he exclaimed excited. he had just tested something and was over the moon with what he found. he held up his hands to keep her from running away

''See, it's true I can't hear you, but it seems that whenever you call me I get this weird shiver over my body. So our link is still their but it seems jammed or something and I want it back, I want you back'' he said hoping to convince her

Thierry glared at him. "It took you...this long to realize that?" She hissed at him, tears still in her eyes. She just shook her head, looking down at him. "I..I cant leave Luke...he is the only one I have." She told him. "I spent two years trying to reach you and you never answered." She whispered.

"well...yeah" he admitted sheepishly "How was I to know our link wasn't working anymore and that it was replaced by a weird shivering sensation." he tried to make her see his point, which is why he didn't say anything on the subject of Luke

"Why didnt you ask your sire? Apprently, she likes you." She mumbled, sitting back down. "And you are still my sire...you gave me the choice of free will last time, you can make me stay or take my free will." She mumbled softly.

he harumphed at that
""well she sure likes me to suffer. I asked if she had heard anything about you and if she could help me find you. But she just laughed at me and said that she wasn't going to interfere in my private business"

he nodded when she said he was still her sire, but he didn't want to play that card, not then and not now

Thierry stood back up, walking to him. "You knew where I had went. You knew I was going back to him, I told you I was." She hissed softly in his ear. "And you didnt bother to look to damn hard." She hissed again./

he nodded sadly
"yeah; I knew where you had went. I also remember telling you I zould never seek you out again unless you called for me. " he held up a hand to stop her from interrupting him "I never realised you did and I couldn't hear you, and for that I'm more sorry then you'll ever know. But when I called out to you last year you never responded either, did you hear me? there was never any news of you, not of you being dead, not of a female vampire prisoner, nothing. Luke kept you very well hidden"

"I never heard you. No one called me. Nothing. Luke didnt keep my hidden, he kept me in sight. Violet knew I was there. They became...lovers...over the time. " She whispered, shuddering. "I left so many times, only to be found and beaten again." she said to him.

"no shiver or anything?" he asked with a little hope

the news of Luke and violet becomming lovers dropped like a bombshell

"they what? They put so many people through tons of pain and misery to end up as 'lovers' ? They are pahtetic"

he was at a loss for words when she tolld him how she was beaten time and again

"It doesnt matter to me. As long as Luke isnt touching me, I'm happy." She said, walking up the stairs. "Coming?" She asked him, not turning around.

he could see her points though it pained him that it had come to that

great was his surprise when she asked if he was going with her

he quickly got to his feet and wordlessly followed her

Thierry walked into the room she was staying in with James, but she doubted he would come back while he was with Evanna. She sat donw on the bed and looked at the nigt gown o the floor with disgust. "Can you undo this damn thing so I can go find some real clothes?" She asked, turning around.

she led him back to the room he had followed her to earlier and he stepped inside behind her.

she sat down on the bed and he wasn't sure what to do or say, but she saved him the trouble when she asked him to help her zith her clothing

he nodded and walked over to her and started undoing the strings on her dress

Thierry sat there, eyes adverted to the ground. When he finished, she stood up, holding the dress to her and walked back to the drawer, pulling out a t-shirt and some shorts before walking to the bathroom.

they just sat there as he undid the ties of her dress, neither saying anything as if afraid to disturb the delicate balance there was at the moment

he gave her a tap on her shoulder when all the strings were undone and she stood up and went into another room. the bathroom, most likely

Thierry walked from the bathroom, walking back to the bed. Her hair was pulled back into a ponytail and out of her face. As she laid on the bed, she looked at Mar, looking back down. "How much trouble would I be in for killing a muggle.." She asked him softy.

he sat there lost in thoughts for a couple of minutes before she walked back in

she lay down on the bed and looked up at him
the question she asked him was not one he had expected

"depends on the muggle I guess and on how you killed him. the wizarding world doesn't think much of muggles so they won't care much. Unless the muggle was a knozn person off course and his or her death causes the muggles to be suspicious. what happened?"

"I..I didnt know how to control it. I tried to...that was the first time I called you. But you didnt help me....Luke had to get rid of the body and the first time he..he locked me in my room." She mumbled, grabbing his hand.

"you drank someone dry" he said knowingly and a bit dissapointed, not for her doing so, though he had warned her that first time, but for him not being able to be there for her in such a time

"did it happen again after that one time?" he asked

Thierry shook her head, drawing small cricles on the palm of his hand. "Luke watched me and saved the other people to make it look like he done something good." She whispered softly

"Can you control it now? or do you still need someone watching over your shoulder?" he sure hoped she knew now, it isn't a good thing for a two year old vampire to not be able to feed on her own. Why they didn't have one of their vampires help her was beyond him, maybe they kept her depended on purpose, or maybe she refused all help

"Yes..." She said softly. She turned to lap her head in his lap when she heard someone coming down the hall. She sighed, sitting up. "Either your group is looking for you or Violet made everyone go to bed." She mumbled

"that's good"" was all he replied

he looked down at her again when she moved to sit up

"Oh, well knowing Edward he isn't finished partying just yet. I doubt I'll see him again before we leave again. Unless something was to happen off course, he doesn't act like it but he is very reliable. As for Sally, she might get worried but I'm her alpha she doesn't question me, nor will she come seek me."

"I dont like it. I should be the only one at your side. No one else." She mumbled softly, pulling her legs to her chest. "Why do you have them anyway? You dont know how painfully it is seeing your sire with another person that isnt you...unless you like Violet." She mumbled.

was she jealous of Edward and Sally?

"it's not like I conciously decided to start my own little group of vampires. In a twisted turn of events violet thrusted me into it. I stood up to her when she wanted to kill Sally, the situqtion reminded me too much of my sister so I stood up to her. She said the only way she would spare her was if she became my shadow kin. After a lot of shouting we complied and I was suddenly a alpha vampire. Sally found Edward on one of her first sole feeding trips, he lived in the muggle world, lost in drugs and alcohol. She convinced me to save him by giving him a place to stay, he never left since. But no shadow kin can replace a blood kin, you are more special then them to me. Though don't ask me to abandon them cause I can't, they are my responsability now. And no, I don't like violet, never have and never will"

Thierry nodded, but still felt hurt. "But it's not fair." She whispered, pushing some of her hair back that had fallen from the ponytail. "I didnt want to leave...but I did..and I was afraid to go back. And then when I needed to, I couldnt." She said, looking at her hands.

"I know" he responded softly "I had pictured things differently as well. I wanted to stop you so desperately but I couldn't""

Thierry nodded, swallowing back the tears that tried to make their way to her eyes. "I..I shouldnt have left...I should have stayed...and I'm sorry." She whisepered, playing with the ends of her hair.

"it's okay" he said holding her "we were both wrong, both stubborn and both right. Did you ever remember the night I turned you?"this time his tone was hopeful

"Only bits of it." She said, laying her head against his shoulder. "I..I can remember some parts but not all of it. I remember being bit but thats about it." She said, looking at her hands.

"oh. well, it's better then nothing, right" it was more a statement then a question

"did anything good happened to you in the past two years?"

Thierry shook her head. "Not that I can think of.." She said, standing up. She walked over to the door, opening it a bit. "I need to get my wand from Violet...will you come with me?" She asked him.

"I'm sorry to hear that" he replied

he watched as she got up again and walked over to the door and opened it a bit. for a moment he thought she was going to send him away, so he was a bit relieved at her request

"sure, I'll accompany you" he stood and walked over to the door as well
