First topic message reminder :

Corbus, a very pale, dark haired man standing around 6 feet tall was walking down the streets. It was dark outside, the time of night that he perfered and at the moment he was looking for someone, someone who was hiding form him.

Show yourself he thought. Just than a voice appeared in his head, a womens saying No, we are suppose to seperate ourselves. Be gone brother

Corbus grinned but continued walking down the streets. He knew his sister was nearby and he was determiend to find her. He made his way out of the town and into a nearby forrest. He looked at the trees thinking How strange. I perfer the ones at home. THey look so much better than these green things protuding from this ugly brown bark. Pathetic how humans enjoy this. He ripped a few leaves off of a nearby branch and held them in his palm. The leaves caught in fire than fell to the ground. He sighed and turned around back to the town. I'll find you later sister. The sun is about to come up and I'm planning on finding some friends.

Corbus waited until the sun appeared before he enerted the first store that opened. It was a coffee shop. Coffee? What is this stuff? He asked himself as he walked into the store. He ordered a cup and sat down on a table

"That was mean, Corbus...very very mean..." Larkson told him, turning to him.

Corbus didn't say anything and just sat there waiting for the next person came before he was to meet with the Prophet.

Larkson yawned but done nothing as she sat tehre.

After waiting about half an hour another man walked in with a women. He approuched Corbus and took a quick glance at Larkson who was sitting on his lap. He didn;t say anything but Corbus could see that he was wondering what she was there.

"My Lord" the man said. "I wish to speak to only you."

"You shall speak to me now as things are" Corbus said. The man glanced at Larkson. "She will not speak a word of our conversation to anyone" Corbus said.

"If you say my Lord" the man said bowing.

Larkson sat up, but pulled her legs into Corbus lap so she could rest against him like a baby would to it mother. She laid her head back on his shoulder and sighed.

The man glared at Larkson was she moved but didn't say a word.

"I have been waiting to speak to you abotu what it about to happen" the man said

"And what of it?" Corbus asked

"Is there anyway to stop it." the man said. "My family is frighten"

Corbus gritted his teeth and said "Do you not fear for it is the ways of our beliefs. The old goes and the new comes. Rejoice for it should be for happy times."

The man stared at Corbus for a bit than sighed, :If you say so my Lord" he bowed once more than rose to his feet. "We will hide"

"Hide if you wish" Corbus simply said. The man turned on his heels and left the room.

"Oh..." Larkson mumbled, moving closer to him. She closed her eyes, sighing again.

Corbus looked down at his watch. "I will have to be seeing the Prophet in about an hour. Is there anything you need before we go? Would you like some food? Surely your hungry?"

"Okay" Corbus saud sounding worried. He knew that Larkson had to be hiungry. He didn't remeber her eating at all since she got here and only two days passed, four days if they were still at Earth

Larkson was almost asleep when she felt a slight pain in her stomach. "Ow..." She mumbled, sitting up.

"Hunger pains." She mumbled, laying her head abck down.

Corbus sighed and than shouted "Waiter" In appeared a man. "Please bring lots of food" The man noded to Corbus's request and left only to return minutes later with a tray covered in food.

"Eat" Corbus said

Corbus got up and carried Larkson over to the food, "Please eat" he said

Larkson looked back at the food and glared slightly, eating until she got full.

Larkson glared at him before wrapping her arms back around him. "I'm still attached." She mumbled into his back.

Corbus chuckled and looked down at his wtach. "Well we better be off. Waiter take this food away, Come Larkson we shall go to the Prophet but may i ask that you do not cling to me when we get to his room?"

Corbus grinned but didn;t say anything as he made his way down the hall that lead to the Prophet's room. Once he was standing in front of his room, Corbus turned to Larkson and said "Here we are, this is the prophet's room"

Larkson cursed under her breath as her arms unwrapped from around him.

"It shouldn'ttake long" Corbus told her as he knocked on the door. He stood there waiting.

The door opened to show the old man. he was leaning heavily on his cane. he looked at Corbus before his eyes swep down to Larkson. "Corbus why did you bring her?" he asked him.

"She wanted to come along." Corbus said bowing. The Prophet stared at Larkson deeply. After a few minutes of silence he said "She can come and join in our meeting. I have not much to discuss with you except what you already know. I would however like to ask the young girl some questions."

"Thank you sure" Corbus said bowing once more. He did not stand back up until the Prophet turned and walked into his room. "Come Larkson" Corbus said as he followed behind the Prophet into his room. His room was quiet empty. There was a few chairs in the main room with a table in the middle of the room. Corbus sat down in one of the chairs across from the Prophet. Behind the Prophet were many doors that were all closed leading to other rooms

Larkson followed Corbus, keeping to herself and saying nothing.

The prophet first turned to Corbus and said "How are the other villages doing?"

"Fine for now but many are compliaing" Corbus replied.

"They do every year. They must learn to stick with teh custom. To change our beliefs would cause the God's to be raged and there would be more death and disease than what there are." Corbus nodded but didn;t reply. "Well if there is nothing to report I will say that helena is almost finished. Maybe in a day or two we'll move onto the next stage."

The Prophet than turned to Larkson and said "Welcome child to our planet. I see that you are able to do strange things with only a stick. Do you have this strange and powerful stick with you?" he asked her

Larkson shook her head, looking back down. "I broke it." She told him.

"Oh I am sorry to hear that dear." the Prophet said not sounding sad at all but relieved. Corbus had to hide a grin. "Where exactly do you come from. Corbus does not give me a direct answer sayign your from a blue planet. What is the name of the place?"

Larkson didnt want to say she came from Earth so she said the first planet to her mind. "PLuto." She siad, nodding.

"Pluto?" the Prophet asked. "How does your species manage to live somewehre so cold?"

"We are very....immune to the coldness." She told him. "But sometimes we have to leave in which we go to our sister planet, Venus. Well, its not really a sister planet, but all the others there are very kind and take us in when it gets to cold." She told him.

"Ah" the Prophet said. He sat ther quiet for a bit than said "You both may leave. Corbus check on Helena and see how far she is." Corbus got to his feet and bowed before turing and leaving the room.

Larkson followed behind Corbus and when they got outside, she wrapped her arms around him again. "Still attached." She told him.

Corbus smiled and said "Now we're heading off to the Picking room to meet with helena. Hopefully she won't be busy and be able to ,talk"
