Last Icon Maker Standing Round Three: Voting

Apologies for the delay!

Welcome to the voting for the third round of Last Icon Maker Standing. Please read how the voting works:

-In the following post, I will create a table with all the submitted icons.

-You then need to name three icons in your post: you must give two icons a positive vote, and one icon a negative vote. You should also give a reason why - commenting on an aspect of the icon you liked (for the positive votes) and what you felt could be better (for the negative vote). This is to help icon makers in further rounds.

Positive vote: Icon 8 :: I love the way it looks like he wants to hurt her XD and how she looks scared. Very well done.

Positive vote: Icon 7:: I love the brown tone to it and the moon in the corner although...I dont like how the moon is being able to show the edge of the graphic. But otherwise, it's really really good.

Negative vote: Icon 3 :: I dont like the EDWARD WHO and the splat thingys in the corner and its a bit to dark for my liking.

Positive Vote: Icon 7 because it's really just well made and has a great use of texture and font ^.^
Positive Vote: Icon 4 because although I don't like the ship it's really well put together and just looks cute ^.^
Negative Vote: Icon 6 because I'm not crazy about the coloring of it and I don't really like how part of Spike is pink and part is gray and then the inside of his ear is off too. Good idea I think but just could have used some more touching up.

Positive: #4 - A really great layout, background perfect - everything presented well.

Positive: #6 - Im not sure what it is, but something just stands out well with this icon - perhaps the well chosen background?

Negative: #2 - The text going over the image doesnt sit right, and the font itself is a little offputting. Sorry...I hate negatives!

Pos - 3: I love the text and I definitely love the black spots.

Pos - 5: I like how the font was worked.

Neg: 9: Sorry but black and white mixed with colored background doesn't do it for me.

Positive for #5: Simple, yet adorable. :D

Negative for #9: It looks a bit, newspapery. But, I'm not liking the crop, maybe if you have put an outline around them I could have liked it better. *shrugs*

Negative Vote: Icon 5 because the text and arrows...gah, how to say this XD I think that perhaps in a larger space with a different font it could've worked a lot better, a bit crowded in the icon.

Positive: #1: Simple, but pretty, nice warm colours. To put it in my art teacher's words, "there's actually nothing there ... and yet, there is something." :D

Positive: #4: The elements (pic, text, texture) are combined in a harmonious way, making the composition well-balanced. :D

Negative: #2: Notice how the same pic is used as in 1, but what a different effect? It's a bit too sharpened or zoomed in, which makes Bella's face traits look too strong for my own taste and the colours are too cold and dark. And the test doesn't fit at all - the font is hardly readable, and the colour is too contrasting.

Positive #1 - Number 8 = The scene in the icon is very good. I like it!xD

Positive #2 - Number 4 = The editing is good and it has sense. I like it also.

Negative #1 - Number 3 = I don't know what is its meaning.

Positive Vote: 4 – Is amazing. Love the colour and sharpness of the image.
Positive Vote: 7 – Nice blending and the colourization is great.
Negative Vote: 2 – The colour is ok but the font is way to blurry and to bright

Positive Vote: Icon 7, because it's really nicely done and really pretty, and it unique compared to all the other..
Positive Vote: Icon 2, because it's simple and while the text is too bright, it's a bold statement in regards to Edward and Bella.
Negative Vote: Icon 3, because I'm not at all fond of Buffy the Vampire slayer, and even though RPattz fails as Edward in the looks department, Edward's pretty darn sexy text wise. XD
