Last Icon Maker Standing Round Two: Voting

Welcome to the voting for the second round of Last Icon Maker Standing. Please read how the voting works:

-In the following post, I will create a table with all the submitted icons.

-You then need to name three icons in your post: you must give two icons a positive vote, and one icon a negative vote. You should also give a reason why - commenting on an aspect of the icon you liked (for the positive votes) and what you felt could be better (for the negative vote). This is to help icon makers in further rounds.

-Both participants and non-participants can vote. Voting will stay open for around a week!

Positive Vote: Icon 2, because I like the texture on the mask, the coloring, and the text is legible.
Positive Vote: Icon 12, because I like the texture, color, and overall feel of the icon.
Negative Vote: Icon 1, because the picture doesn't fill the whole icon, the text is illegible, and it doesn't look like much was even done to the image used.

Positive: 5 I love the color and the way the text was put.
Positive: 11 I loved the concept, nicely done!
NEgative: 6 the idea was good but unfortunatly not well achieved, the cutting of the mask is... well we can all see.

Positive: Icon 4 has a really great blend of textures and I really like how the picture fades into them and the text is slightly covered.
Positive: Icon 5 has a unique coloring that I really like, and everything about the text works great!
Negative: Icon 1's text is illegible because of its placement, and the brown behind the picture...not a fan XD Next time, try using only a portion of the picture given to fill the space.

Positive: Icon 7. i like the overall purpleosh color to it
Positive: Icon 3. I like the effects added to it. Super creative I think
Negative: Icon 1. I can't reall read what it says.

Pos: 5...i lik the mirror theme...the yellowish tone and the wordings
Pos: 12....nice texture...beautiful...gorgeous...
Neg: 9...sorry...I dont like the purple...to blurry...I dont like the wording..no offence. I think you should have made it either a lighter purple or added some textures to advert the eyes from the face.

Positive: 5 - I love the cropping, colour and text.
Positive: 2 - Love the texture in the background, also the font brush fits really well with the icon.
Negative: 1 - The image doesn't fit within the 100 x 100 icon. Also the font is a bit blurry.

Positive Vote: Icon 7 - I like the whole idea of the icon and the coloring to it.
Positive Vote: Icon 2 - Great idea and even better execution to it, good cropping and texture on the mask ^.^
Negative Vote: Icon 9 - It's blurry and I'm not to crazy about the font chosen or the cropping angle, something about it just looks a bit odd to meh.

Positive: #2 - Icon really stands out and is topped off wonderfully by the text
Positive: #12 - Colourisation is a simple change though works really well
Negative: #1 - I hate giving negatives sad

I chose this for the text being too hidden within the main picture

Positive Vote: Icon 12 - The background and effects work really well on this one.
Positive Vote: Icon 2 - I like the fact that despite everyone's given the same pictures, this one looks different and original in it's own way.
Negative Vote: Icon 9 - It's not bad but it's just a bit blurred.

Positive: 5. It's the fairest of them all. XD Color, cut, text, perfecto.

Positive: 2. Added thingy on the mask, plus a very witty quote. Nice.

Negative: 13. It's a Fashion Editorial, I'm kinda looking for some text. I dunno, but it somehow don't tell any, except that it seems to be bloody. XD (No offense anyways.)

Positive vote: 8 --->The added use of the text and brushes in this really make it stand out

Positive vote: 12 ---> Colour is great as is brush in bottom corner - finishes it off perfectly

Negative vote: 9 ---> Although good, I had to choose one and I chose this one for the fact it had least changes from original

Positive: Icon 2: the contrast and cropping in the picture makes it look amazingly intense, and the text just adds beautifully to the feeling.

Positive: Icon 4: the positioning of the picture is great, and I love how the textures seem to draw your eye into the image. I also love how it's all slightly faded out.

Negative: Icon 9: I actually don't mind the colors and cropping, but the expression on the face doesn't quite seem to fit the text for some reason. And the blurriness kind of throws me off.
