Round 8 - I Like Laughing

Welcome to the eight round of Best Icon Maker Standing! As with all of the rounds in this competition, you are making only one icon, using the images provided below (pick one).

Rules:
-Create an icon using ONLY the image provided. Add no other images.
-You may add your own text, textures, colouring, brushes or patterns.
-Be as creative as possible.
-Icon must be 100x100 in size (including any borders!)
-No animation.

You have one month to send your icons to me by PM. Please upload them to an image host which will not identify you, such as imageshack, tinypic or servimg (not photobucket).

Let's vote for the eigth round of the Best Icon Maker Standing. Please read how the voting works:

-In the following post, I will create a table with all the submitted icons.

-You then need to name three icons in your post: you must give two icons a positive vote, and one icon a negative vote. You should also give a reason why - commenting on an aspect of the icon you liked (for the positive votes) and what you felt could be better (for the negative vote). This is to help icon makers in further rounds.

Positive Vote: Icon 5 - Great use of texture and coloring. Simple in design, but beautiful all the same.
Positive Vote: Icon 6 - I love the way that the text adds so much to the icon without controlling it still.

Negative Vote: Icon 4 - I get the idea behind the icon, it's just that the execution didn't come out well. There was too much color added that it swallowed the rest of the image.

Positive #1- I like the coloring, and the background, it's very cute.

Negative #4 - I appreciate the attempt, it just didn't really turn out.

Negative vote: #8 like, seriously, no. there's no work put into it, just a nice cropping of the picture untouched XD

Negative vote: #8- the colors on this just makes her look like a mass of flesh that could be sneezing while laughing, although I do like the softening of the picture it just doesn't work.

Pos #2: 6. I like the colouring and the subtle text. Sparkleh (not literally, just that it's sparkleh!)

Positive vote for #5: I like the coloring here as well and so is the background. Negative vote for #2: I do not fancy the text put in that much, it's like, they don't match. *shrugs*

As you can see, the table presents how many positive and negative votes you had, the total votes which is the positive votes minus the negatives votes and it's the number that will be used to the overall standings and to find the winner at the end of the tournament.

There's a column for the housepoints you won in this round, the total of points is made of participating points, voting points and votes points (25 points per total votes column).
