Round 12 - Witch of the Witches

Welcome to the nine round of Best Icon Maker Standing! As with all of the rounds in this competition, you are making only one icon, using the images provided below (pick one).

Rules:
-Create an icon using ONLY the image provided. Add no other images.
-You may add your own text, textures, colouring, brushes or patterns.
-Be as creative as possible.
-Icon must be 100x100 in size (including any borders!)
-Animation (optional).

You have one month to send your icons to me by PM. Please upload them to an image host which will not identify you, such as imageshack, tinypic or servimg (not photobucket).

Let's vote for the first round of the Best Icon Maker Standing. Please read how the voting works:

-In the following post, I will create a table with all the submitted icons.

-You then need to name three icons in your post: you must give two icons a positive vote, and one icon a negative vote.
You should also give a reason why - commenting on an aspect of the icon
you liked (for the positive votes) and what you felt could be better
(for the negative vote). This is to help icon makers in further rounds.

Pos: #5 - Love the coloring! It looks awesome! And the little lines for the texture are great as well as the sparks. Very nice!

Pos: #1 - I like the simplicity, and the coloring looks good. I also like the symbol rather than any texts or nothing at all.

Neg: #7 - I don't like how it gave her green looking shadows and the design looks a little too faded.

Positive: Icon 6. It looks really nice, although a bit more could have been done with it, the overall product is still good.
Positive: Icon 5. The cropping drives me simply insane, I have to admit it, I felt it could have been better cropped. However, if it weren't for the cropping the icon would be very beautiful, so I have to up vote it.

Negative: Icon 2. The choice of dulling the image and using the blurring in the background hurts my eyes.

Pos: #1 Kudos for using the charmed symbol!
Pos: #4 I like the faded borders and the colour, though I could live without that font xD

Neg: #3 Oh boy Hermione looks like she's sickly green! And the font? No bueno!

Positive # 1: I like the coloring and I like that you used the symbol. It's simple and pretty.

Positive # 6: The coloring is nice and warm, my favorite of the Piper coloring, and though I don't really care for the font, it is easy to read

Negative # 3: I can barely read that it says Hermione, and she looks ill

Positive #5: I love love love the coloring and texture.

Positive #1: Like the addition of the "Charmed" insignia.

Negative #4: Kinda looks like they just cropped it and wrote Willow.

Positive votes: Icon #4 - I love the colors here. One thing, though...It sorta has that Charmed feel in it, I know, but I'm not a fan of the text font you used. TBH it'll stand out even without the text.

Positive vote: Icon #1 - I love the softness of this one, plus the addition of the symbol. Great job!

Negative vote: Icon #3 - The blended colors all over it just doesn't go with my liking, as well as the typography.

As you can see, the table presents how many positive and negative votes you had, the total votes which is the positive votes minus the negatives votes and it's the number that will be used to the overall standings and to find the winner at the end of the tournament.

There's a column for the housepoints you won in this round, the total of points is made of participating points, voting points and votes points (25 points per total votes column).
