(Gryff Beater)

::After the long break, WL flew up into the air and sighed in relief. There was nothing better than a good Quidditch game! She grabbed one of the bludgers and started to hitting it towards the Ravenclaw Chasers, forcing them out of formation and then going back for the rebound.

She hit again and saw the bludger strike Lily, the closest chaser.

WL STRIKES AGAIN!!!!!!!!!::

(Hmm...need to get another bludger attack...)

(Ravenclaw Beater - It's my 31st, so I'm getting into it)

::Just as Roman took to the sky he saw WL's attack. Watching his beloved queen get injured always turned Roman into a protective caveman. Swooping in, his bat firmly in hand and ready to strike for the first time in far too long, Roman swung. The force of bludger and bat connected made his entire arm shake as he sent it sailing back to WL.

Not even watching it's progress, he flew over, reached out and steadied Lilys broom. He needed to make sure she was alright so he could get his mind back into the game. She gave him a determined nod and powered on back into the game. Their Head of House back into the action, and with that dangerous glint in her eye, Roman knew their opposition was in a bit of trouble.

He turned back as Lily left, partially glad to see his bludger had hit it's mark and WL was painfully trying to lift herself off the ground, her broom lying a distance from her, her bat even further::

::Mcfly watches as her head of house gains her balance, and wonders if she is hurt. But, she must keep her attention to the game so she starts to fly up above the pitch to catch any sign of the snitch::

(Ravenclaw Beater)

::Seeing Lily with the bludger tucked firmly under her arm once more inspired Roman. He flew in positioning himself a distance in front of her, enough room for both of them to work. His job was clear from the look he gave her, clear the way.

The Gryffindor chaser line were moving in, prepared to steal the quaffle. A quick bludger through their ranks tore the formation apart and Roman dived a few meters, allowing Lily to zoom above him. He could be ready now to not only keep her path free of obstruction, but also protect her from any ill-attemtped moves against her by the two Gryffindor beaters::

(Ravenclaw Beater)

::Roman chuckled at Lilys passing comment, I don't know, luv, but I'll try. Her flight in front of him threw him off slightly, but a quick course correction had him following close on her tail, staying withing close proximity, but not even attempting to do all of her tricks. He was much better with a bat than a broom.

As she leveled her broom, Romans eyes spotted an incoming bludger and he quickly moved to intercept, knocking the bludger away easily then turning back to the task at hand. Lily was nearing the goals, it was almost time for him to act. He threw a quick signal to Herby, who went straight to work.

Lily had already thrown off the Gryffindor keeper, but he had to make sure they would score without a doubt. Herby sent a bludger straight for him and he whacked it directly at the confused keeper, wincing as it traveled a little too close over the top of Lilys head for his comfort. The keeper saw the incoming ball and quickly dived away. The goal was clear for his queen to score and then hopefully do that little victory dance he enjoyed so much::

::Mcfly stops looking for the snitch to watch lily and Roman:

WOOT! GO RAVENCLAW

::But by leaving her attention from the game she misses the snitch flying straight infront of her face.::

Ooops!

::Mcfly pulled her broom handle left and sped after the golden blur that was the snitch, it was zigzagging in front of her when it did a sharp jerk and it dissapeared from her view.
She had lost it. Mcfly then started circling the pitch in hope she would find the snitch again::

NOOO

::Mcfly stops searching for the snitch as she see's lily falling to the ground, but what's that? The snitch the opposite side of the pitch! Mcfly had to make a choice, to try and save Lily or to get the snitch an win the game. She decided on the first opption. Mcfly turned her broom to face Lily and soared forward dodging bludgers in her way...::

I hope I make it!

(ravenclaw Seeker)

::Lily is still falling, wow she is taking a long time to reach the ground, mcfly swoops under lily and leans to the side and catches her arm, then flying with mcfly holding on to lily's arm, mcfly tries to fly lily over to her broom. As lily mounts her broom mcfly asks if she is ok, she nods her head determindly and flies off to continue with the game. Mcfly admires lilys stamina and determination then flies off in the opposite direstion where she last saw the snitch in hope of some sighting::

::Roman celebration was premature as Lily began her decent to the ground. McFly was closer than he was, but as the worry pushed through his mind he couldn't help but fly for her as well. He wouldn't make it, but he'd try.

He breathed a sigh of relief as McFly grabbed her and helped her to her broom. Though he was still immensly worried, that had to have shaken her up. As she took to her broom again, he grabbed her before she took off to make sure she was okay. He could tell his concern was frustrating her a bit, but as she flew back into the air and followed at a distance he kept a watchful eye on her, as he would for the rest of the game.

Exhanging a glance and a shrug with McFly as they both flew up to take their positions he hollered, "Straight back into it then." As the game resumed, one of Romans eyes was on incoming bludgers, but the other was firmly watching Lily for any sign of distress. She'd be angry he wasn't fully focused on the game, but he didn't care::

::Having one eye on his captain ended up being worth it. The blown kiss weakened his worry some, and then the quick signal allowed him to take his mind off her status and focus on the game. Rip had the quaffle and was heading down the other end of the pitch, something the Ravenclaw beater wasn't going to allow.

It was a simple matter, really, an act he had performed many times in training and in games. Working with Herb to line up a bludger it was all a game of Ready, Aim, Fire. His bat connected with the bludger and the little ball zoomed off in the right direction, a point directly in front of Rip.

Since he was sort of behind her she flew right into the bludger, the quaffle dropping from her hands as her arms instinctively released it when the bludger impacted her. His team was ready when it fell::

::Mcfly wonders where all the gryffindor players are? But this gives her a little less pressure to find the snitch before the gryffindors wake up. She soars off in the direction she saw the snitch before saving lily from the ground.::

::But, a bludger is coming at her from no where, not wanting to be knocked off her broom, mcfly quickly pulls up on the handle of her broom and flies in a big loop as the bludger passes underneath her as she is upside down goes off to bother someone else. Mcfly the pulls up straight, and a little dazed from the blood rushing to her head while upside down for that small second. "That was close" She though and continued her search "Where is that darn snitch!"::

::Rip recovered quickly, and flew in a small loop, dodging another Bludger, and snatched the Quaffle just befroe it reached the Ravenclaw's chasrer's hands. She did another loop-de-loop to avoid another chaser and sped off towards the goal posts. She bent flat over her broom, and was nearly there, when an unexpected chaser blocked her path::

::Seeing a blur of red, she tossed the red ball to her right into the arms of a fellow Gryffindor chaser::

Thanks LILY! I will find that snitch and win the game!

::With new found confidence from lily, mcfly suddenly saw the snitch again::

this time I will not loose it!

::Chasing after the snitch it swooped in and out of the Ravenclaw goal posts, mcfly didn't take her eyes off it, not even when it swooped up over the stands, mcfly followed it skimming the tall people in the stands heads, "oops" she thought. Swooping back onto the pitch mcfly reached forward to catch the snitch, but it slipped out of her hand and she did a somersault type thing on her broom::

DARN! Why can't I catch that thing!

::Mcfly soared up, way above the pitch in search of the snitch...again::

(Gryff chaser)

::Rip turned sharply and surveyed the pitch layed out before her. Where in merlin's name is everyone? she thought, slightly panich-stricken. She dodged an oncoming bludger, eyes still scouring the pitch for fellow lions::

"Well, i'm not gonna just sit here and wait for those crows to win!" she said this to herself and zoomed after the quaffle. Being the only chaser who seemed to be participating in the game, she was determined to do her best, and slaughter the Ravenclaw's, whether or not the rest of the team joined in::

::The other team were so oblivious to the lone-gryffindor chaser, that their chasers did not see her attack. Rip flew beneath the Ravenclaw chaser, and steadily flew upwards. She was now directly below Lily. She quickly stuck up her hand and with one finger, prised the ball slowly form her grasp::

"YES!!" Rip cried as she turned around and headed back towards the goal posts. She heard a surprised gasp form Lily, and went pell-mell to the other end of the pitch::

::But, trouble was coming, as the other two chasers were heading straight for her. She managed to dodge them, but a bludger was now hurtling towards her. She promptly conjured her own bat, for the gryffindor beaters seemed to have dissapeared, and hit the ball away from her. Glad i played rounders in primary school she said with a smile::

::By now, she had arrived at the posts, she feinted to throw it to the left, and the keeper fell for it, so she hurtled it to the right, and SCORE!!::

(Ravenclaw seeker)

"Lily quick! chase after her!"

::The lone Gryffindor was speeding down the pitch with the quaffle she had stolen from lily!::

"What!? Conjuring your own bat!? that has GOT to be a foul!?" mcfly yelled at the referee,

::but, Rip scored anyway, the crowds were cheering for Gryffindor, mcfly sped up to Roman and said,

"She's on her own, we can win this," Then she yelled,

"come on Ravenclaw! remember, Eagles can fly! Lions cannot!!"

::Mcfly then realised she had spent too much time worrying about the chasers and the gryffindors that she hadn't been looking for the snitch, so she quickly started searching around the pitch for the small golden ball that could lead to their victory::

(Gryff Beater)

“AAAARRRGGHHH! I’m sooo sorry!!!!!! I didn’t read it properly and I heard a whistle in my ears so I thought that the match had started so I hit the stupid bludgers and I’m really sorry because I’m going mad!”

“WL! Shut up and play…the match has actually started now!”

::WL slumped and turned to see who yelled at her. Swift was waving her hands madly and pointing at a bludgers heading towards her and Lily with the quaffle also heading to her after recovering from her slight fall::

“Oh. Ok. Sorry”

::She flew over to the bludgers and randomly hit it away from swift, so she could save the quaffle without being hit.::

(ravenclaw chaser)

:Lifey caught the quaffle easily and sped off towards the gryffindor keeper. As she reached the midway point of the field, a bludger came tearing at her forcing Lifey to make a swift spiraling roll before dodging an oncomming oppontent and making a quick pass to Lily:

LILY WATCH OUT!!!

:Lifey yelled as a bludger came tearing towards the other chaser. Lily quickly dived and made a pass back to Lifey to took the quaffle and used every ounce of her energy to urge her broom to go as fast as possible.

As she neared the goal posts she did not cut her speed at all, but made to fly up and towards the right post, but flew over, down, and to the left goal post in a smooth arce before tossing the quaffle past the confused keeper and scoring a goal for Ravenclaw:

"YES!"

::Rip took possesion of the ball quickly, and sped off before any of the Ravenclaw chasers realised. When she got to the middle of the pitch she glanced over her shoulder, and saw that the oppostion had finaly cottoned on to what was happening. Where ARE the other chasers!!! Rip thought. She was starting to worry, three on one was not good::

:She turned back to fly onwards, but WHAM! A bludger hit her right in the chest, and she fell backwards off her broom, all the wind knocked out of her. She could her the gryffindors in the stands screaming, but what could she do?::

(Ravenclaw Beater)

::Rip continued to fall as Roman was torn. She wasn't his teammate, but he couldn't stand by and watch her fall. He saw Lily take the dropped quaffle and made a decision. Pushing down on his broom he flew for Rip.

As he got to her, not far from the ground, he dropped his bat, reached out and grabbed her by the quidditch robes. He struggled with his broom, holding it with only one hand and eventually lost the fight.

Falling with Rip the few meters left, Roman hit the ground pretty hard, Rip beside him. The good news was Ravenclaw was on their way to another goal, and both he and Rip were okay. After helping the Gryffindor to her feet, he made his way to his broom and bat, getting ready to get back in the game::

(ravenclaw seeker)

::Too busy looking for the snitch, she completely missed her sister, rip, falling from the sky. She heard the crowd gasp and looked around! Both Roman and Rip was falling!

She let out a sigh of relief to see them both stand up unharmed. She flew down to her sister,

"Are you ok?" She asked, Rip nodded and looked, for some reason, surprised::

:Lifey gasped when she saw Rip and Roman hurtling for the ground, but as soon as she saw Lily with the quaffle, she knew she had to keep playing.:

:Lifey flew up slightly and sped to catch up with Lily. Just as Lifey was about to call out to Lily that she was open, a bludger shot up from underneath her and tossed her back wards through the air:

:Clining tightly to her broom with both her arms and legs, Lifey managed to pull her broom in a loop and regained her balence.:

:Shaken but otherwise unharmed, Lifey caught up with Lily, ready to exacute an plays necassary:

:Lifey swooped in front of the goal posts JUST in time to catch the quaffle and toss it smoothly through the center goal and finishing Lily's Al-le-oop:

"YES!" :She yelled punching her fist in the air and flying over to Lily to give her a high five:

"C'mon Ravenclaw! we OWN this!"

:Feeling pumped and ready to go Lifey soared through the air next to Lily, ready to win:

:Lifey gasped as she saw the bludger hurtling towards Lily:

"LILY!!!! BLUDGER!!! DIVE!!!!" :she called:

:Lifey looked up just intime to see the other gryfindor beater aiming another bludger towards Lily. With out pausing a second, Lifey flew straight at the beater and dived, barely avoiding a collision.:

:The startled beater missed the swing, and the bat hit air. Lifey giggled to herself, happy with her successful manuver:

"Hey...where are all the gryfindor players?" :Lifey wondered out loud:

(Ravenclaw Beater)

::Seeing the bludger heading for Lily, Roman moved into action. In a moment he was behind her, bat ready. As the bludger neared, he adjusted himself so his aim was perfect. With a crack bat and bludger connected, sending it straight back to the Gryffindor beater, WL.

She hadn't been expecting him to move so fast and the sound of bludger hitting bone gave him a sadistic grin. The heavy ball also managed to jolt her from her broom, but he didn't waste time watching her fall.

Out of the corner of his eye he caught sight of Lifey pulling off one hell of a mid-air tackle to make sure Lily didn't face another bludger threat and was thankful.

He'd just not five minutes ago saved one of the Gryffindors from what could have been a painful injury and he is repaid by an attack on his queen. Well if they wanted to play that way, then so be it, but he had thought Gryffindors above such things. Roman was no longer going to play friendly.

Turning back he laughed as he saw Lily still doing her victory dance, completely oblivious to the near serious incident. She quickly stopped however, much to Romans disappointment, as the game got back into play and resumed::

:Lifey saw two opposing chasers flying her way tossing the quaffle back and forth. She flew towards the chasers and managed to catch the quaffle during a mid-toss. It began to slip from her grasp, but she clung to it.:

:Lifey looked up from the quaffle she was preparing to throw to see the two chasers flying towards her from behind, lifey then noticed the bludger comming towards her quickly. Thinking on her feet ...well broom actually...she tossed the quaffle half way across the field to Lily as the chasers and bludger came closer:

::Rip got to her feet, and looked at her hand. She had landed it on it and it was bent in a weird way. She muttered a quick Episky, grabbed her broom an tried to find the quaffle. She saw Lily doing some crazy rolling dive thing, so Rip sped off to try and retrieve the quaffle::

:Rip thought that the only way to get the Quaffle would be to mimick Lily's movement in the opposite direction, and somehow punch the ball from Lily's grasp. She didn't see how this was going to work, but she had to try something. They were losing badly, and needed to bring up the score::

::She flew so she was opposite Lily, and started to roll, like Lily, heading towards her. They were a few metres apart, so Rip threw out her arm. She was close now, when Lily finally looked up and saw Rip approaching, but it was too late. Rip had punched the ball through her arm, arm carried on flying towards the opposite end of the pitch. She dodged some bludgers, a couple of chasers, occasionally looking around for the other Gryffndor chasers. She circled the goal posts as to confuse the keeper who was looking around confusedly, then promptly shoved the ball through the middle hoop.::

"Ha!!" Rip said as the keeper was still looking confuzzled, so was Lily who thought her plan couldn't be foiled, "put that in your pipe and smoke it!!"[/b]

(Gryffindor beater)

::Amy realised that she hadn't yet participated in the quidditch match as she'd been so busy doing essays in the library.

She circled the pitch, looking at the state of play. She cheered as she saw Rip scoring, and then grimaced as she saw a bludger heading towards Rip.

"Look out!" She yelled, at the same time flying towards that end of the pitch.

::She used her bat to hit the bludger away and towards Lifey.::

CRACK!!!!

:a bludger smacked Lifey in the back of the head, knocking her off her broom. Lifey noticed bright shining lights as she fell to the ground before slipping out of consiousness:

:a few minutes later Lifey awoke lying on the grass with a splitting headache and a huge bump on the head. Groaning as she tried to lift her head, she muttered a spell to relieve the pain, mounted her broom, and flew to join her teammates.:

::mcfly flies overto lifey::

"Are you ok? you sure you can keep playing?"

::Mcfly was worried but she knew lifey would want to keep playing, after all, she was a Ravenclaws, and Ravenclaws never give up!::

(ravenclaw Chaser)

:Lifey waved to Mcfly to signal she was ok:

"Just find that Snitch! I'm fine"
:She called to Mcfly:
"Thank GOD for magic though"
:she muttered to herself as she cast another pain relieving spell on her head:

:As she regain altitude again, Lifey noticed that Rip had scored again and glared at Duck, who had sent the bludger at her. Duck grinned and waved.:

:Getting possesion of the quaffle, Lifey raced towards the gryffindor keeper who seemed prefer protecting the left and center post.:
"hmm": thought Lifey. and a split second later she had faked a pass to the right and smoothly passed the quaffle through the left goal post as the keeper blindly flew to protect the right side and scored for Ravenclaw.:

:Lifey flew over tho Mcfly, Lily, and Roman and tried to start a conga line in mid-air...the bludger must have caused more damage that had originally appeared.:

::WL hit a blludger right at the congo line that had started. Well...Congo line...what more can I say...DOMINOES!!!!!!!!!!!!!

All three poor little souls fell right off their brooms...::

(Sorry...my computer's nv4_disp driver broke...and it kept on crashing and only worked in safe mode which doesn''t have Internet connection...so now it's fixed...slightly too late but still fixed!!!!)

::Mcfly started to fall off her broom, but flung up her hand and caught the handle::

"Oh god, this is where I wish I worked my upper-body streghth more!"

::Lily, lifey and roman were all falling and mcfly just hanging, mid air holding onto her broom. Just as rip started speeding off down the pitch with the quaffle Mcfly found new source of energy and hauled herself onto her broom, how the hell she did it she did not know! But too much time had been wasted, all three falling members of the Ravenclaw team were spiraling in different directions, this was going to take some handy broom work::

"Hang on!"

::Mcfly sped down to the nearest falling ravenclaw which was lifey, she grabbed hold of lifeys arm and sped, flying her broom with one had, towards lily. Lifey then knew what my plan was and grabbed hold of lilys arm. Mcfly the sped off to save roman. Lily grabbed Roman by the arm. Mcfly didn't know if the broom would hold everyone, but she had to try. She flew down to the ground and dropped lifey close to where their brooms had landed::

"Wow, I cannot believe I did that, that had to be too good to be true,"

::Mcfly the kickedoff hard from the ground, with the broom feeling alot lighter she sped off faster then she thought and almost crashed into the stands::

"oops,"

::But now she really needed to find that snitch::

:The fog of conga was slowly clearing from Lifey's mind thanks to Mcfly's quick thinking.:
'grr' :thought lifey.: "I can't let injuries stand in my way"

:Lifey kicked off and flew side by side with Lily and together they pulled off another A-le-Oop, scoring once more for Ravenclaw. As tempting as it was, Lifey did not begin another conga line:
