16th HOUSE QUIDDITCH: SLYTHERIN V HUFFLEPUFF: TUE 6TH JUNE

(Hufflepuff Chaser)

::Jen hums a little tune as she flies out to the quidditch pitch. She scanned the field and noticed that it was completely empty so far.::

"That's odd." She mumbled to herself. "I'm, usually so busy I'm late for everything!" She busied herself by flying in loops and praticing her diversion tactic before her other teammates arrive.::

(Hufflepuff Seeker)

:Etta walked onto the pitch singing "I wish i was apunk rocker with flowers in my hair." Her trusty broom was tucked under her arm as she stepped onto the picth.

"HI JENN!" Etta shouted as she mounted her broom, divined into her robe pockets and pulled out a small picture, she kissed the picture. "Ohhh my darling DT, where are you now!"

Etta tucked the picture safely away and began to ride past the crowds waving.

"I'm not late!" flisan shouts at jenny, jumping onto her nimbus 2000 and flying up to her. "I am NOT late! you're early, way early, seriously, i am never late, you must have come here ages ago if you were here before me..."

(Hufflepuff Seeker)

:Etta shook her head at Flissy and laughed.

"Can we realse the balls?" Etta shouted thinking she was presenting the national lottery.

(Hufflepuff Chaser)

::Jen laughed as Flisan rambled on and on about not being late. "It's okay Flisan! No need to panick!" Jen laughed as Madamn Hooch released the balls onto the field. She watched as the glittering Snitch fluttered right in front of Etta's face as though taunting her to dare and catch it. It then streaked across the field before Etta could react and disappeared in the clouds.::

"Quick little bugger that thing is," Jen muttered to herself. "I'm lucky I'm not the Seeker." Reaching out her fingertips to catch the thrown Quaffle, she failed to notice the Bludger coming right her way! Too late it hit the end of her broomstick spinning her in a complete 180 circle. Grabbing onto the handle tightly, Jen closed her eyes and waited for the spinning to stop. The tail of her broom hit the quaffle that she dropped tightly through the air and into the arms of her fellow Chaser!::

"Oh," Jen moaned with her hand on her forehead. "Maybe I should have kept Herb's lucky tutu from the duel on." Shaking her head slightly, she flew toward her teammate who held the quaffle tightly in her arms.::

(Hufflepuff Chaser)

::Ginny ran like a maniac out onto the Quidditch field, not waiting until she stopped to hop on her broom and kick off. Before she knew it, she was weightless-or very near to it. Carefully, making sure she didn't kill herself during her lightning burst of speed, she flew over to Jenn and Flissy, a smile on her face.::

"Hey, sorry I'm late. Someone kicked my Quidditch stuff under my bed and it got buried under a mound of acorns." ::She rolled her eyes as she thought of how she had jumped onto the pile, nearly breaking her ribs in the process.::

"Apparently, jumping on acorns is not recommended-who knew?"::The red head happily shrugged her shoulders, simply glad to be out and flying around the pitch. She glanced down the field and saw that no Slytherins had appeared. How perfectly opportunistic.::

"So, anyone have any brilliant ideas on what our first move should be?" ::inquired Ginny, her brown eyes sparkled with excitement. She noticed the Quaffle tucked under Flissy's arm.::

"Yes...I have an idea." ::she replied to herself slowly, watching her teammates fly about and noting the slytherin absence with questioning eyes.::

(Hufflepuff Seeker)

"Hey Gin! Sorry about kicking your robes under the bed! But i needed your potions homework!" Etta shouted as she flew after the Snitch, she had saw it speed off into the clouds and was doing so herself, not realsing that it was a rain cloud. "Oh bugger."

(Hufflepuff beater)

:Marie laughed as she got on the Quidditch pitch. She jumped on her broom, kicked the ground and smiled at the familiar sensation of flying.:

"Sorry girls, I'm late," she shouted at the other team members. "I had to clean my broom... lots of dust, haven't been using it for a while..."

:She then noticed a bludger which was heading for Etta and she flew right to her, hitting the bludger as hard as she could and sending it away.:

"Wow, that felt good. I missed hitting thing," she said with a smile.

:Still singing to herself Etta emerged from the inside of the raincloud slight soaked. She did not care though because she had the snitch in sight and was chasing after it.

(Hufflepuff Beater)

:Marie saw the bludger going toward Etta and didn't have time to make it go away. She flew to Etta, whose broom was now spinning on itself, and grabbed her broom to make it stop before Etta fell.:

"Are you attracting the bludgers today or what?" said Marie with a small smile before hitting a bludger back at Jess.

(Hufflepuff Seeker)

:Etta smiled gratefully at Marie. Having lost sight of the snitch Etta flew over to Jess just after the bludger had connected with her face, blood splurted from what used to be Jess's nose.

"Hard work is something your team doesn't understand, or time keeping, or even manors, but never mind, at least we," Etta said indicating to the Hufflepuff team. "are here."

Etta flew off and high fived Marie for a beuatiful attack on the SLytherin Beater before speeding off in search of the snitch.

(Hufflepuff Beater)

:Marie nodded to Etta before flying to Jess.:

"Sorry," she mumbled. "Didn't mean it to hit you in the face. Episkey!" she said as she took out her wand, healing Jess' nose. "There you go."

:She flew away, deciding that maybe keeping bludgers away from her teammate would be enough for today.:

:flisan grinned, as she caught the quaffle and gave jenn a thumbs up, before turning to ginny, who had a strange, but determined grin on her face.

"What now?" she asked and raised her eyebrows at her team captain.:

(slytherin beater)

snape rushes onto the pitch, broomstick in hand.
"sorry - just got back from corfu!" he shouts wondering if that excuse will still pass (lol)

Straight away, he mounts his broom and circles the pitch, finally grabbing a bludger that he intercepted. Turning around swiftly, he noticed Lisa with the quaffle, signalling to Ginny. "time to act" he thought.

Hitting the bludger into the air three times until it span, he backhanded it towards lisa and followed its path...

:flisan noticed jenn shouting and pointing and turned around, noticing the bludger fly straight at her.

she closed her eyes and di the badger drop, hanging upside down on her broom stick, and heard the bludger zoom past only inches above her knees, before she came back up, her hair completely out of order.

"Thanks, jenn!" she shouted and threw the quaffle at her.:

snape, who was speeding along following the bludger, didnt have time to break. He had expected it to knock lisa from her broom...instead he collided right into her, knocking both her and the quaffle from the broom, (and also himself but we dont talk of that lol)

::zooms over to Snapey::

"We are in trouble, did you know our seeker quit yesterday! and I dont even know who our chasers our!"

::hits an oncoming bludger towards Flssy using the spiral push::

"I mean we really need to get ahold of our team!"</center>

(HUfflepuff Chaser)

::Jen grinned at Flisan as she caught the quaffle. "No problem!" She then started to fly toward goals with her teammates on each side of her. She tossed the quaffle to ginny as they started to fly in different formations toward the goals. A line, a triangle, a circle... With each different formation they formed they tossed the quaffle to a different chaser.Finally Jen held the quaffle in her hands again.::

::Dodging a bludger that flew her way, Jen ducked her head to the left, accidentally tipping the broomstick to far, causing her to twirl upside down. She threw the quaffle up (although since she was upside down for her this was up) and kicked the quaffle high up into the air.::

:flisan followed the quaffle with her eyes and when it came back down she did a neat 360 degree spin and kicked the ball with the end of her broom, watching it soar towards the empty goal posts, where it flew happily and wihtout a keeper in the way through the middle one.

"Score!" she shouted and flew over to hug her teammates.:

snape couldnt understand how they scored as lisa was just collided into by him, but he pulled himself together and flew to the oposite side of the pitch where him and romance took stance for the doppleganger sidelong approach

(Hufflepuff Seeker)

::Etta, who had no idea what was happening below her or in the stadium for that matter as she was off chasnig the snitch around the north tower of the Castle.

"Im getting dizzy!" She yelled at the snitch and she could have sworn it laughed before zooming off to the south tower. "Charming."

(Hufflepuff Chaser)

::She laughed at the mad antics of her team.::

"Now that's what I'm talking about!" ::the red head bellowed out in a loud voice that did not much her short stature. Ginny caught the quaffle in her hands, and looked around. She decided to place the ball in the nook between her ankle and shin, and kicked the quaffle towards the goal.::

"Just a bit to the right..." ::The brown eyed girl directed the ball-as if that could be done. However, it was unnecessary because moments later, it had scored the goal. Ginny happily flew over to her teammates, determined to not let up and hoping to secure a few more goals for Hufflepuff.::

Snape and romance backhanded the bludger to one anothe across the pitch, tailing the hufflepuff chasers closing in bit by bit until they were near enough to perform the double dopleganger backhander twist

(hufflepuff Seeker)

::Etta was now spinning around the top of the south tower, her robes were caught on the hippo wind vane which was Elfies pride and joy. closing her eyes Etta shouted an apologcy and snapped the hippo off the top of the tower, she race dback inot the stadium and dropped the wind vane in front of Elfie before speeding off after the snitch, a new found determination with her.

*Slytherin Chaser*

"OHhhhhhhh my gosh sorry I'm late I was at the Cuddly Kitty Charity ball!!" Kitty hurries over and jumps on her broom and flies up to the air and then she catches it as the ball is thrown back into play. She flies to the hufflepuff goal and throws the quaffle into the lowest hoop and scores for Slytherin* Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaay!!

*smiles at Tiffany* "about time you got here"

(Slytherin chaser)

*smiles back to jessica* "Well I can't let my team down, can I?"

And then just as she is about to speak again Kitty is suddenly distracted by the quaffle being thrown into play towards Ginny. She does a sweeping manuver up under the soaring quaffle -called the Cat's Crawl'- and catches the quaffle with one hand. She doesn't stop for now she turns around and flies towards the hufflepuff goal and tries to get a good aim to throw it at the lowest hoop but now the keeper is blocking her. And seeing no other slytherin chasers to pass the quaffle to, kitty has to move quickly. She pauses only a moment to focus up at the second tallest hoop and flies up towards it, pulling her arm back and sending the quaffle into that ring with all of her might, scoring again for slytherin. But that throw hurt and she winces as she feels she pulled a muscle in her arm. She looks around hoping that some more of her team mates will show up::

Snape and romance watched as their move hit the hufflepuff chasers square, knocking them to the ground, the quaffle sailing into the air.

snape motioned for kitty and watched as she flew straight towards the quaffle.

Slytherins are coming back!!

:Marie saw Kitty flying toward the Quaffle at an amazing speed. Reacting quickly, she grabbed her bat tightly and aimed with precision as a bludger was coming toward her. She hit it with all her strenght and looked at the bludger soaring in the air toward the Quaffle, knocking it off course and sending it to fly toward the Hufflepuff chasers:

"Yay!" said Marie, trying to do a little victory dance as she forgot she was on a broom.

::Jen, still confused and not knowing whether Slytherin scored or not, moved to cath the quaffle as it soared through the air. Lundging to one side, she was able to catch the ball with her fingertips and nails. Thankfullythey didn't break because she used Madamn Scarlos's nail strengthening polish earlier that day.::

::Bringing her mind back to the game, Jen swooped down toward the Slytherin goals with Ginny and Flisan on each side. As they approached the goals, Ginny and Flisan kicked up their heels and flew diagonally across Jen at the exact time to fly to her opposite side. The second they parted in front of Jen, the quaffle she threw burst through them and went aquarely through the center hoop!::

"Score for Hufflepuff! With the Bader Cross!"

Mandragora rushes onto the pitch, late again...
"sorry i'm late"she yelled to her teammates as she hurried to get opnto her broom "I was in a muggle exam... well,i want to keep your options open so ill take some GCSEs as well as OWLS..."

Mandragora kicks off the ground just in time to see Wytchkitty wince before the hufflepuff chasers scored. Hoping that kitty was not hurt badly, mandragora flies quickly over to the slytherin goalposts and gains possession of the quaffle (where is our keeper?). she gracefully doges the hufflepuff chasers with a few switchback turns, and then makes them rather dizzy by doing a few loop the loops. unfortunately, she was now rather dizzy herself and was seeing double,. she knew taht she had no hope of scoring until she could see straight so she flew closer to the hufflepuff goalposts and quickly passed the quaffle to Kitty, who was waiting near the goalposts...

(Hufflepuff Chaser)

"Ah ah! Not so fast!" ::Ginny said as she put on a burst of speed that took her in between Kitty and the Quaffle. She veered towards her fellow Chasers, and let her muscles relax. The red head looked over to Jenn and smiled.::

"Try the new one." ::The Chaser whispered into Jenn's ear as she gradually handed her the Quaffle. Then, Ginny sped as fast as she could into position-over near the Slytherin goal posts. She dodged a bludger along the way, and pushed past other players to get to her destination.::

(Hufflepuff Chaser)

::Grabbing hold of the quaffle Ginny passed her, Jen nodded slightly in Flisan's direction and joined her in the center of the field. A slight wind blew as the two Chasers took their positions. Laying exactly horizantal on their broomsticks, they kicked up their heels and started toward the Slytherin Goalpost. Switching positions quickly like a screw, they became a blur as they swept across the field in the move they called the Huff Swirl. Jen leaned in closer to her broomstick as the wind dried her eyes and swept her hair out of her face.::

"When they reached the goal posts, Jen took position on the far left goal as Flisan took position on the far right hoop. Jen held the quaffle in one palm and swung around in circles to gain power as she slammed the quaffle in Flisan's direction. Just then a Bludger came streaking past as planned, and connected with the quaffle, making it plummet toward the ground...right into Ginny's waiting hands.::

::Jen waved a thumbs up toward Marie's great bludger slam.::

(Hufflepuff Chaser)

"Very nice moves girls!" :Ginny called as she caught the Quaffle. Moving with extremely acute dexterity she managed to lob the Quaffle through the hoops. She kicked her feet happily, just the play had worked.:

"Hey Jenn, Flissy, nice moves!" ::The red head gave her friends a peace sign and then decided Marie needed a bit of rescogniztion too. With a huge smile on her face, Ginny flew over and attacked Marie with a hug.::

"You're doing great for the only beater! Ha!" ::She pulled herself away from poor Marie, and flew off, looking for more opportunities to increase the Hufflepuff point value.::

Slytherin Seeker :twisted:

~Our devilishly handsome Slytherin seeker finally arrives for the game. His shimmering blue eyes filled with great determination he mounts his sparkling shining expensive Nimbus 2006 and takes to the air. In a burst of speed he is off, flying in search of the snitch~~~~

*Slytherin Chaser*
Kitty gasps as the quaffle flies into the hoops and hufflepuff scores. She sees then that the seeker who is verrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrry late and still in trouble grrr- arrive. "Jesse, go find that snitch" she shouts then she looks around to see where the quaffle is

~Yells back to Jess~ "There's no way I'd leave my team. I am the Slytherin Seeker and I never miss a game!! HAHAHAHAHA!!"~~~

~Then as Fated sees Kitty he turns his head and nearly gets hit with a whirling bludger~

He dives down and then up executing a well rehearsed dying swan dive and recovering with a protoplasmic flightful sizzler a nice recovery move for vertical flying. He then stop as he sees that the quaffle is being thrown back in. He signals to kitty but then seeing how close he is to it and how easy it would be, he flies up looking for the snitch conveniently in the same area of the quaffle and as it flies his way he 'accidentally' swats the quaffle with the back of his broom and conventiently enough it flies towards Kitty's open hands~

::Kitty looks to see what Fated is up to and she giggles at his rather interesting way of being "conveniant" lol! She catches the Quaffle in her hands and turns and flies towards the hufflepuff goals:: "Okay, let's see if I can do this without hurting my arm again" she says then she throws it hard towards the middle hoop but it starts to fall short and is falling downwards::

::smiles at all the accidents her team is making and heads towards the bludger that just barely hit Jesse::

"Come on Slytherins !!! Lets get it going!!!" ::smiles and throws her pompoms up and catching them:: "heh"

::zooms after the bludger and hits it towards Etta whos all wet::[/cente

::Blonde quickly dives to the quaffle after it falls short on Kitty, She brings it up back to the hoop. Blonde fiens left the throws it in the center hoop! ten points for Slytherin!::

~Slytherin Seeker~

~Back on his course seeking the snitch, Fated sees it for the first time and zooms after it, with an imense burst of speed he zig zags through players chasing it. Then with an outstretched arm he grabs for it but misses and it flies out of sight. Steering his broom around to look for it again he spots hufflepuff now with the quaffle. He is certain that they have something planned so best to distract them. He flies over in front of them and 'accidentally' bumps into one of them-a dirty move he calls the 'Justified Jessemeter'- causing the quaffle to fall and hopes one of his team mates can catch it~

::Kitty catches the quaffle that bounces off of Roma's head. "Omg are you okay!" she calls to her then she flies up over towards blonde and throws it to her "Here, score another one for us!"

:: Kitty passes the Quaffle to Blonde, she rushes to the hoops.....almost there...she drops the quaffle as a hufflepuff rams in to her..::
