the final battle

i thought this might be an interesting RPG to do and elfie ok'd it so here you go - the final rpg battle - remember the use of your characters!

(time I started rp'ing i think lol)

Mcgonagall walked into the corridor at the top of Hogwarts main stairway. She could hear distant shouts and cries as the bloodbegan to rush to her head. It had started...

~Hidden and laying in wait, Draco's eyes stared coldly at the ground. *I can feel it.* He thought with a heavy sigh. *The Dark Lord will strike soon.*
His pale, pointed face remained emotionless. The final battle was to come a lot sooner than he thought...~

::Lavender slowly peeked out from behind a blue tapestry. So far, she couldn't see anything happening in this part of the castle. Taking a deep breath, the brunette decided to step out from behind her hiding spot. Her eyes scanned all around her, ready to hex anything and anyone.::

"Okay, so far so good."

(Can I be Pad in this? Or do I need to be Fred? Both are cool witn me so what ever one.)

:"..M-m-malfoy?" Katie whispered behind him, trembling in fear. She grabbed his sleeve gently and tugged at it abit:

~Draco gasped and spun around to see Katie~

"What do you want?" he sneered.

:Jilly fled from the scene, after stunning two deatheaters. She dashed into the shadows, hoping to hide for while and catch her breath. As she peered around the corner, her wand was shout out of her hand. She let out a loud scream of surprise and fell to the ground defensless.:

OC: hehe, a little action gets right to the point! :D

::Lavender spun around, a girl fell to the ground in front of her. A death eater marched forward menacingly. She swallowed hard and pointed her wand in his face.::

"Accio...uh...uh...flower pot!" ::A flower pot on the window sill behind the death eater's head crashed into it. Lavender quickly ended the charm, so that the bits and pieces wouldn't hit her. She bent down to face the girl and said::

"Are you okay?"

~Draco moved away from Katie and stepped back as the first Death Eater attacked. At that moment he was torn. Unsure of whose side to be fighting on, Draco slowly pulled out his wand~

~He looked to the fallen girl then to the Death Eater who'd been attacked by a plant from Lavander~

~His grayish-blue eyes shimmering with both fear and confusion, he wondered what to do.~

::She heard a noise and jerked her head up. It was Draco, she opened her mouth to speak, but then stopped. Whose side would he be on. Her one hand on the girl's shoulder, the other tightly gripping her wand, she said::

"Hello, Malfoy."

"Well well, if it isn't Lavander Brown." Draco sneered, lifting his wand and pointing it at her.~

~His eyes narrowed at her then shifted to the Death Eater that lay on the ground.~

~Many confusing thoughts were racing through his head~

::The brunette inhaled sharply, but she wouldn't let her fear show.::

"Watch where you point that thing, you might hurt someone." ::her own wand felt hot under her tight grip. Her reflexes were good, but she wondered if they'd be good enough::

~He shifted his gaze back to Lavander and slowly walked closer to her.~

~He slowly looked around~ "Where's Potter? and Weasel? Shouldn't they be here to help with the fight?" He asked lowering his voice as he leaned closer to her.~

::Her blue eyes narrowed, and her grip on her wand relaxed, but only slightly.::

"I don't know, somewhere else. Shouldn't you be trailing after your father hoping no big bag curses hit you?" ::Lavender spat in his face::

~He blinked but blew her snide comment off as two Death Eaters broke in.~

"Come on!" He sneered grabbing her hand and pulling her with him as he began to run away~

::Lavender gasped as he suddenly pulled her up.::

"Of course, running away...Goodness! Slow down!!" ::she looked back behind her and saw the Death Eaters.:: "No keep running keep running!"

~Draco continued pulling Lavander with him as the Death Eaters raced after them. But just as they rounded the corner, two more Death Eaters suddenly appeared in front of them. Draco came to an abrupt stop and turned to Lavander.~

"I think we've got a problem." He mumbled.~

::She looked around him and saw the two Death Eaters, and then behind her and saw the two others.::

"On the count of three, stun the one on the right and then duck. Then, cast a leg locker jinx, got it?" ::she whispered leaning up so that she could whisper in his ear.::

"One...two...three! Stupefy!"

~He nodded~

"Stupefy!"
~He shouted blasting the Death Eater who was on the right. Then he cast the leg locker jinx on the other.~

"They've gotten into Hogwarts! If we stay here on the first floor we're bound to be surrounded in no time! Come on, up the staircases!" He said sharply.~

::Lavender rolled out of the way of the falling death eater she had just cast the leg locker jinx on. She dusted herself off, making sure her robes weren't dirty for such prolonged contact with the floor.::

"I'm coming I'm coming keep your pants on. Actually, please do keep your pants on, for the sake of both of us..." ::she shuddered at the horrible mind image.::

"Ha ha very funny" he snapped sarcastically. "You're lucky that I'm on your side otherwise..."

~Suddenly he was cut off as a blast from below hit him and he flipped over the staircase. Luckily, he managed to grab onto the side of the moving staircase. "Agh!" He shouted as he dangled there.~

"Otherwise I wouldn't have to save your arse like this..." (pardon my french hehe) ::Lavender ran over to the edge of the stair case and grabbed one of his hands.::

"Now give me the other one, I've got to pull you over before this stair case connects with the rest or otherwise...well... the house elves will be cleaning off pancakes."

"Argh!"
~ He grabbed both her hands and tried to pull himself up with her help~

"Hurry, the staircase is moving again!" He shouted with a hint of panic in his tone~

"Well pardon me but I'm not exactly used to hoisting a Slytherin git who's pure dead weight over a staircase!" ::Lavender snapped, putting one of her feet on the hand rail of the stair case as she tried to pull him up.::

"You know, treacle tart isn't all that important, Malfoy. Maybe you should skip a couple servings at the next meal!" ::she panted.::

::Suddenly a hand reached out from behind Lavender and grabbed Draco's other arm. Blaise stepped into view as he tucked his wand in his waistband and struggled to help pull Draco to safety.::

"Stop flinging your legs about and pull yourself up!" Blaise commanded as he checked behind him for any Death Eaters. "You would think a lion would be stronger than this." He muttered at Lavender.::

::Lavender nearly dropped Malfoy in surprise when Blaise came out of nowhere. However, she sniffed in annoyance at his lion comment.::

"It's lioness and you'd think a snake would be a lot lighter! Oh lighter, right!" ::Lavender pulled out her wand, and performed a feather light charm. Of course, she could've possibly jabbed Malfoy harder than she needed to but...no matter::

"Okay, this should be easier"

::Blaise smirked at Lavender's snake comment.::

"Yeah, well this is Draco. He's been eatting too much of those rich desserts his mother sends him." Blaise glanced at Draco and his eyes hardened. "Well, I suppose I should go now..." He started to move back into the shadows.::

"Okay..." ::Lavender gave one last heave and pulled Malfoy over. She nudged his shoulder with her foot.::

"Get up, we've gotta keep moving." ::Just as she said that, a loud, heavy scraping noise could be heard as the staircases rejoined each other. The brunette looked down at the Slytherin boy on the floor in front of her, and shuddered. That was a bit close...::

::Blaise pulled his wand out of his cloak and moved out the door. Taking one last look at Draco and Lavender, he quickened his pace. He seached the corridors for people, although who he did not know. He was determined not to join the Death Eaters, but being a proud Slytherin for so many years, he didn't know how to interact with members of the other houses without distain or a smirk on his face.::

::Hearing footsteps ahead of him, he dove into another passage way. Looking behind him for the dark figure, he accidentally ran into a wall that creaked and flipped open, causing him to trip on the curtain on the other side. Two figures looked at him curiously. He blinked a few times before realizing he was back where he had started. Wincing at the throb on his head he motioned Lavender and Draco down the staircase.::

"Quick! Someone's coming!" He frantically muttered as tried to find a way to block the passageway he just came through.::

(sorry for the long post...I miss rping...lol)

"Off your rear, Malfoy," ::Lavender said, grabbing his arm and dragging him to his feet.::

"Which way should we go?" ::she asked, not yet dropping Malfoy's hand. The brunette's nerves were on end, and her deep blue eyes were darting to each dark corner. Every whisper of wind was a curse being launched at them, every ghost floating by was a Dementor, every shadow was a Death Eater, ready to kill them. Lavender trembled slightly, she had never felt so afraid, and so alone, in a castle that had once made her feel so safe.::

~Draco finally snapped out of his sudden trance he'd been in. He'd nearly been crushed but thankfully Blaise and Lavander had helped him.~

~Quickly, he jumped to his feet.~

"We have to keep heading up! Up the stairs!"

::Katie was rushing down a dark hallway, rushing towards the stairs then suddenly bumping into another scared girl. She gasped for air and looked up at the girl's face,"...Lavender..?" She whispered. Katie looked around and saw another person, she drew her wand," Who are you?" she muttered.::

"Put your wand down, Bell" snorted Draco irratably as he rushed down the third floor corridor. "Incase you didn't know, there are Death Eaters here!" He growled at Katie. "So you'd better come with us unless you want to deal with them on your own!"
Just then two Death Eaters came rushing towards them.~
"DUCKKKKKKKKKK!!" Draco yelled pulling both Lavander and Katie down as one of the Death Eaters fired a red blast over their heads.~

~Draco pointed his wand at the two Death Eaters~
"Serpensortia!" A huge black snake this size of an anaconda shot out of his wand and attacked the two DE's.~
"Let's go!" he snapped at Lavander and Katie as he turned and rushed down the dark corridor.~

"WAIT FOR ME!" ::Lavender cried out as she helped Katie up and began running after Malfoy. She screamed when another death eater came out of nowhere. In her mind's eye she saw Ginny Weasley casting the bat bogey hex during a DA meetings, and she quickly performed the same spell.::

"Keep running Katie!" ::the brunette cried out as she kicked the now very incapacitated DE in the stomach.::

~Draco made it to the end of the corridor and stopped dead in his tracks~ I don't believe this...

~Strewn across the floor was castle debris and dead-looking and injured bodies of several students.~

~He stood frozen with the look of fear on his face as his surroundings suddenly began to grow cold and freeze as his breath became visable.~

"What's going on?" He wondered and then he looked up and gasped seeing a dementor descending down towards him~

"Uh Brown...Bell...I....I think we've got a p-problem!" he squeaked as the dementor continued to descend at a hauntingly slowly pace~

"Understatement of the year!" ::Lavender gasped as she saw the Death Eaters. She pushed Draco behind him, and waved her wand, focusing in her mind on the moment during which she found out she was going to be a Gryffindor and shouted::

"Expecto Patronum!!" ::An otter made of white silver mist came out from her wand and began tripping up the dementors. She turned to Katie and Draco::

"Run!"

~Draco's eyes were wide in disbelief as he heard Lavander shout out the words of the Patronus Charm.~
*Expecto...Patronum?* he wondered And he was even more shocked to see an otter form from a silvery mist that flew from the tip of her wand~
He watched the otter repel the dementor and raised a brow. *I wonder how she did that...* He thought but Lavander's voice shouting "Run!" jolted him out of his thoughts and he turned and did just that~
~He looked back to see if Lavander and Katie were behind him.~

OC: am i allowed to be Hermione or do i have to be myself?

:Hermione was running, searching for either Ron or Harry, but it seemed that neither of them were around. She disarmed a few deatheaters in her path and stopped when she saw the light and the shouts of Expecto Patronum. She ran in that direction, and was immediatly run into by Lavender Brown:

"Lavender?!" She chocked out as she stood to help her friend.

~Draco hurried down one corridor then another no longer worrying if the girls were following him for he was just trying to escape. He'd done his good deed of helping them earlier now they were on their own. He had to save his own skin now for he was in danger~

Jessica Riddle ran through her bedroom at hogwarts packing her things. She had already been told by her Father to get out of the castle pronto. So she was doing just that. She wasnt sure if she was on Harrys side or her fathers. She thought and wayed out the options...

If Harry wins I loose a father and if daddy wins I loose an ex-boyfriend... hmm... GO DADDY!

She wasnt really sure if she really felt that way but she couldnt be sure. She grabbed her nike tote back that she had just threwn a few belongings (and accessories) in and rushed out the door and down the stairs.

as she came to the bottom of the stairs she bolted to the right hoping it was towards the exit. But she wasnt looking were she was giong and immediatly slammed into someone. She looked up to see Non other than Draco Malfoy. She faltered for a second. Which side was he on?

"Draco?"


(she might as well be Hermione because the sighn ups are all screwed up Im still suposed to be Blaise *glares at Jenny* but someone stole my charachter *grins* but I would rather be Jessica Riddle anyways soo..)

~As Draco was fleeing down the corridor he suddenly collided with someone and staggered back, grabbing onto the wall to keep from falling~

~Breathing hard, and with a panicked look on his pale face, his eyes widened as he recognized who'd run into him~

~Instinctively he drew his wand and pointed it at her, though he wasn't sure why for he was still undecided about whose side he was on~

"whoa slow down.. no need for the wand..."

She slowly stood up and grabbed her tote back.

"May I ask whos side The great Malfoy decided to be on? I myself am indecisive." She said gesturing to her tote.

~Draco lowered his wand, his eyes gleaming with confusion and indecisiveness~ "I don't....I haven't made up my mind..." He mumbled now tearing his eyes from her and scanning around the corridor.~

~ He could hear the ear-shattering screams of students, the shouts of Death Eaters down stairs and the spells that were being fired off simultaniously. He knew that the war had indeed begun.~

Jess could care less who came around the corner no way in hell would any Death Eater take a shot at her.. and Harry and the others would leave her alone. AS long as she got out nothing would happen to her.. she didnt need to pick a side.. she had friends on both.. she just was curios as of what Draco was going to choose.

~Draco noticed that Jess had nothing to worry and that he was the one that had to decide what side he was on~

~He suddenly heard people coming down the corridor and so he grabbed Jess's hand and began running back towards the moving staircases and started going up them~

Jess followed him "Draco what are you doing! The Exti is the other way!" She whispered to him as she followed him up the stairs,

~He stopped and got off the stairs~

"I'm not going that way, I'm staying out of sight until I can figure out what I'm going to do!" He called back to her assuming she was still behind him~

"Well fine Ill go with you! Could I pursuade you to join my new found side! its called the Gray!! because theres always got to be a gray and you know what we do we RUN!"
She screamed as a Death Eater grabbed her around her waist. "DRACO!"

~He spun around, as he heard Jess scream.~

~He saw a Death Eater holding her and glared.~

"I thought you said your father's Death Eaters wouldn't hurt you!" He said to her panicked as another Death Eater appeared behind him as well.~
