A story of a lost childhood in America when a young girl's mother dies of an awful disease. She and her older brother are left with their dad who then becomes married again to a cult loving insane mother of four.
This is such a sad childhood with many twists and turns, an autobiography of the author.

Robin Jarvis
England has been divided into islands floating in the Outer Darkness, connected by massive chains and only accessible by airborne ships called nightboats. Brindle's nightboat crashes into one of the islands, and by doing so he sets off an incredible chain of events that culminate in him having to reveal a secret he wished to keep safe. (This summary doesn't justify the book by any means)

Twilight
Author- Stephanie Meyer.

A young girl moves to a the small town where she was born,
the rainiest place in the country. Forks Washington.
To live with her father, Police Chief, Charlie Swan.
Bella soon discovers that the small town has a secret,
that only one family knows. And in that Family she falls in
love with the youngest member Edward Cullen,
and she soon finds out that her life, and their secret,were put
in danger, as soon as she came to town. Because Edward and his family
are vampires, and Edward, is drawn to her blood.

Warriors Series

This series is about a cat who lives in a house with humans and is then invited to join a clan in the forest. He has fun learning how to be a warrior with his friend Graypaw. This series does not sound so good when I summarize it, but it is the second best book series I have ever read. (Harry Poetter being the first)

Spirit Gate by Kate Elliott

In the spirit of true epic fantasy, Spirit Gate follows the lives of four individuals as they are forced into strange environs of The Hundred and beyond, and to hold to what they know in the fight for justice in uncertain times, they must follow paths better left untread. This land is one of merciless gods, slaves, and the forgotten realm of justice, and a must-read for the epic fantasy fan.

That's about the most general summary ever. It starts slow, but really starts to pick up about 100 pages into its 630 page mass. Love it!
