2nd QUIDDITCH MATCH: Ravenclaw vs Slytherin: SAT 16TH - 20TH

Jess Yawned seeing Lifey come onto the pitch she gasped. "aww darn and I thought we were going to have an almost ravenclaw free game"

She looked around for any bludgers and saw one wooshing by the Ravenclaw Stands she whooshed over to it and swung her bat hard sending the bludger towards the newly awake Ravenclaw player...

Etta startled screaming into her mic.

"Come on Ravenclaw!" She screamed but the glares from the Slytherin crowd made her calm down. "Sorry about that folks anyway, another Ravenclaw on the pitch and Slytherin look slighty unhappy with the new arrival, they must have expected a Ravenclaw free game!"

(Slytherin chaserr)

::Dealer flew over and got the quarffle as it was thrown in. He tried to do a fancy spin on his broom as he flew in the air. He saw the Ravenclaws and then he looked around:: He saw the clouds up above getting dark and it looked like rain:
"I think there's a storm coming up. But rain shouldn't wash out this game!" He said flying. He looked up ahead where the Ravenclaws goal was and tried to decide on what hoop he could throw the quaffle in. He dodged the chaser on the other team and did a whirly dive towards the goal hoop that was lower to the ground.::
When he got close enough he slam dunked the ball sideways into the hoop and heard the bell ding saying Slytherin scored 10 more points!::

"YES!!!!!!!!!!" He cheered waving to his team mates.:

::Spotting Lifey walk on to the Pitch, Elana swooped down to her until she was only a few feet above Lifey's head.::

"Hey Lifers, glad you came!" she yelled. "Well, so far Slytherin's beating us, but now that you're here that'll stop." She smiled. "Oh, and it looks like rain," she said, shrugging. "But that shouldn't be a problem."

snape paused for a moment and stuck some extra thick earplugs in his ears. He didnt want to be blown off his broom by the commentators voice (lol which by the way is doing a great job)

Snape turned around and saw life enter the pitch. Giving Jess the thumbs up, they flew along side the chaser, hitting the bludger back and forth hoping to make life anxious enough to forget what she was doing...

(Ravenclaw Beater)

::Hearing the rush of an oncoming Bludger, Elana turned and hit it before it got to Lifey. Close one.::

"Gotta go," she called to Lifey and flew back up. She began circling the Pitch, looking for Ravenclaw's in trouble or an annoying Slytherin that needed to be- er- forcably taken from the game.::

::Lifey grinned and waved to Lana and Jesse. Upon hearing jesse's remark she smiled innocently and waved a...er...distinctive gesture as she kicked off.::

::completely unfased by the bludgers, lifey made sure to take more care to avoid them, but not be distracted by them.::

::Realizing that she was the only Ravenclaw chaser there at the moment, Lifey decided that plans slmans, she was going in for the score on her own.::

::Grabbing the quaffle with her left arm she tossed it behind her back and across, reaching back with her right arm and catching it, all the while approching the slytherin goals.::

::Lifey tossed the quaffle up in the air once before catching and immeadiatly when it touched her hand throwing it towards the slytherin keeper.::

::The quaffle was a perfect curve, heading towards the left goal before swerving, in through the right.::

"Yeah! Ye-ah! 10 to us! Bow down to us! bow down to the eagles! "

::Lifey cheered with lana, raising her fists in celebration::

"Ra Ra RAVENCLAW!" ::she yelled as they swooped back into the game.::

"Ravenclaws are back and ready to fight and win! "

(Ravenclaw Beater)

::Elana let out a loud victory whoop as Lifers won ten points for Ravenclaw.::

"Wooooo!!!" she called. "Only a few more of those and the game's in the bag."

(Slytherin Beater)

Jess became put of at the lack of a hello from one of her favorite people and hit a bludger towards lifey because... she scored points.. and not because she didnt say hit o her too.. dont think that it was because she scored points and she needed to go!(lol)

Jess watched the bludger hit the end of lifeys broom spinning her out of control..

::Lifey's broom was nudged by jess's bludger, but no serious harm was done.::

::Lifey was able to regain control and continue on her path::

"hey jess" :: she waved::

(Slytherin Chaser)

~With a burst of speed Fated zoomed up and captured the quaffle as it was thrown in and he zoomed down the field towards Ravenclaw's goal.~

~Perfectly performing a Quadra-loop he zig zagged across the field making his way to his destination~

(Ravenclaw Beater)

::Elana grinned, seeing Lily step on to the pitch. Feeling that it was about time for her to perform one of her perfected Beater plays, she quickly spotted a Bludger, flew up to it. She hit it so that the Bludger went a few feet above her and slightly to the right. Elana flew up, urging her broom to go faster, faster until she was as fast as the Bludger itself. She came up to it suddenly and swung as hard as she could towards the Slytherin chaser below her. Sorry Jesse!::

::As jesse was hit by the bludger and dropped the quaffle, lifey sped , dived, and caught it.::

::Quickly glancing o ver the pitch, she spoted lily, signaled to her, and tossed the quaffle to her which she caught.::

Slytherin chaser)

~Being whacked by the bludger, he shook off the pain and zoomed over double flipping upwards and quickly snatched the quaffle from Lily's grasp~

~He zoomed off towards Ravenclaw's goal~

::Lifey sped to the quaffle, caught it swiftly, flew the final yards to the goals, and tossed it smoothing through the left hoop.::

::Elana followed Lily and Lifey, keeping an eye on a nearby Bludger. As they soared towards the goal posts, she accelerated, speeding towards the Bludger. She came level with it, swung the bat back behind her head and forwards until it hit the Bludger with a satisfying CRACK! It soared to the Slytherin Keeper, who was caught off guard, as was the plan. Lily and Lifey kept the Keeper busy, while the Beater hit him or her off of their broom. She grinned down at Lily and Lifey, signaling them that it was their time.::

~He flew up making a grab for the quaffle but missed it completely and nearly catapulted off his broom as he came to a sharp turn~

~He watched Lily throw the quaffle in front of her and suspicion played upon his face~
Sure enough Lifey recovered it and threw it into the hoop~

~He thought a moment and an idea suddenly hit him...~

::Lifey couldn't resist throwing in a quick celabratory midair dance::

::She high fived her team all around and grinned::

::she was proud of them::

Grumbeling Jess woke up on her broom and glared at everyone on the quidditch pitch! "Ok which one of you took my ipod!!" She zoomed for the closest bludger and saw that if she hit ti to the left it would be in perfect line to hit Lily. So She did just that.

(Ravenclaw Beater)

::Elana laughed, flying down to her team-mates and joining Lifey in her dance.::

"Nice work ladies!" she said happily, grinning from ear to ear. "Wonderful play, drinks all around!" she yelled, quoting one of her favorite movies and swaying on her broom, laughing to hard to be too steady. "Just kidding," she added. "Well, gotta go."

::She flew off, still laughing, and hit a speeding Bludger towards the center of the pitch. Elana kept flying until she had reached the Ravenclaw goal posts, where she looked around the pitch to see where eveyrone was.::

(Slytherin Chaser)

~Fated sat ready on his broom as the quaffle was thrown in. Beads of perspiration formed on his forehead. He certainly was enjoying this game though he was greatly outnumbered and possibly out classed, he was still going to give it his all. He wasn't going down without a fight. He brushed back his sweaty blond hair and his blue eyes shone with determination~

"Bring it on, Ravenclaw!" He shouted. "I'm ready for you!"

::Lifey caught the quaffle as it was thrown in and signaled to Lily::

::Just as in practice, Lifey and Lily began to fly towards eacher other, and met half way down in the middle of the field as they made their way towards the slytherin goals.::

::Flying so close their knees and sides looked as if they had been stuck together with a permanent sticking charms, they flew up towards the slytherin goals.::

::So quickly that the crowd and jesse couldn't see, Lifey handed the quaffle to Lily and the both broke away, Lifey distracting the Slytherin team who stilll thought she had the quaffle.::

::Lifey pumped her fist and high fived lily!::

::they had pulled off the perfect Tar-and-Feather:

::Lifey raced towards the center of the pitch, Lily doing the same from the other site. The quaffle tucked away safely under her right arm, Lifey continued to speed towards the center. She knew what to do, she had it almost perfect in practice. They have pulled it off before, she could definitely do it in a match::

::The gap
between the two chasers was closed and soon Lily was flying just behind Trish. Trish looked at Lily behind her.::

“Lets do this!” ::she cried out::

::Lifey threw the quaffle over her shoulders to Lily. Immediately after throwing the quaffle, Lifey dived so that Lily could get to the goal and positioned herself right under her.::

"Go Lily!!!!!!!"

::Lifey caught the quaffle immediately after it left lily’s possesion. The Slytherin keeper was confused and didn’t see Lifey making a swift move towards the farthest right goal and scoring with the quaffle.

::Lifey saw what lily had done and with her heart and adrenilen pumping, she raced towards the quaffle, grabbed it, and dodging hte other players, tossed the quaffle through the slytherin goal.::

~With all his might and flight, Jesse flew up catching the quaffle as it was thrown back in. He did and corkscrew dive as he saw Lily coming towards him and could hear Lifey accelarating behind him. He kicked his broom into a faster speed- unfortunately too fast for he missed Ravenclaw's goal and knew that would cost him.~

~Diving down he saw Lifey reaching for the quaffle but fortunately he was able to zoom downward, perform a diagnal "Snake of Salazar' manuever and flying upside down, he caught the quaffle. He looked around and then seeing Ravenclaw chasers after him he sped towards Ravenclaw's goal. He hoped he'd make it~

(Ravenclaw Chaser)

::Jesse recovered the quaffle, and thought he had avoided Lily and Lifey for good, but no such luck on his part. Speeding over him, Lifey dropped in front of him, scaring and startling him so that he dropped the quaffle as Lifey swooped in front of him, blocking his path. Lily caught it and looked for Lifey, who nodded to Lily. Lifey braced herself and knew what to do. Lily passed the quaffle to Lifey, who caught it and turned her broom to face the slytherin goals. ::

::Quickly checking to make sure Lily was still with her Lifey counted off.:: “One! Two! THREE!”

::They were off like bullets, only bullets who twisted in midair like corkscrews or drills. Lifey was curving downwards to the left, still hugging the quaffle to her body, Lily was curving upwards to the right, both still spinning tightly and quickly.::

::As there was only one slytherin, Jesse, and he had no clue who was in possession their play was working brilliantly.::

::Lifey passed quickly to Lily and watched her finish::

::Lifey highfived back and gave a whooping cheer::


"go us! go us! i'ts our bday ! it's our bday!"

::She sang quietly to herself, but loud enough for slytherin to hear.::

~Jesse flew up and performed his quadra-loop spinzig manuever trying to limber himself up and hopefully get back into his game. He saw Ravenclaw was fighting back- and hard. And with him being the only chaser, he knew he had his work cut out for him~

"And it started out so easy..." He chuckled to himself~

::Lifey felt flattered that ravenclaw was considered a threat, not that she didn't already know.::

::She nodded to her brother as she flew by::

"Good game so far, eh?" ::she said, performing a sloth grip roll as a bludger soared passed her left shoulder.::

"But jesse, you do know that as a birds, we have the natural ability to fly right?"

Etta felt somone proding her in the back.

"I'm awake i'm awake!" she shouted sleepily into the mic then her eyes buldged. "Good GRIEF! RAVENCLAW HAVE A TEAM ONT HE PITCH NOW!"

Etta watched the passing and zooming and felt dizzy.

"Looks like Lily of Ravenclaw is determinded to make Slytherin work, good going girl! Now we have a game! Lets hope the ravenclaws stay on the pitch and hot things up! Does anyone know the score?"

(Ravenclaw Beater)

::Elana watched Lily and Lifey perform their best happily from her perch above the Gryffindors. She saw Lifey fly over to Jesse and decided to go talk to him too. She sped over, cherishing the feel of the wind rushing by, grinning ear to ear. She slowed to a stop next to Lifey.::

"Hey Jesse, sorry about the Bludgers, but it's my job. Rough game, Quidditch." She smiled smugly, and said proudly, "Yeah, like Lifey said, we Eagles are born to soar, you of all people should've known that."

::Lifey nodded to Lana. Then thought::

'hmmm....Lifey, Lily, Lana....LLL...' ::she giggled to herself in her head. she was being silly today.::

"C'mon Claws! lets get playing here!" :she cried to her team mates, eager to get moving again.::

Etta was drifting back to sleep.

"One cup of hot chocolate, fluffied with milk and nop sugar, a large mocha with flake, um cheese toastie, a pair of winter socksa coat and oh my blanket ..." Etta said with a yawn to a fellow Hufflepuff who nodded and ran off.

"Its the last day of play and who will win? Will the Eagles claw their way back, no pun intened, or will the SLytherins beat them down into submission? Oh thanks cookie, um nice and toastycosy, As winter comes in, will our teams remember that sometimes commentaters get very cold and are opnly warmed up by their vigarus play, i've been livier wakes then this game, come guys pull up our socks and play."

~Dropping far behind was not one of Fated's things and so now he shook himself out of his daze, gripped his broom and sped forward very fast. The disgruntled Slytherin keeper was throwing the quaffle right back in~

~Fated wasted not even a second speeding up snatching the quaffle out of the air~

~He swooped down spiraling through Lifey and Lily with a clever 'slithering' move that could get any snake out of a tight situation.~

~He held the quaffle tightly and flew off towards Ravenclaw's goal.~He heard the two Ravenclaws tailing after him closing in on him~

::Dealer waved to Fated as he came back from a bathroom break [okay a lonnng bathroom break] and was back now and in control of his bladder once agin. He saw that his teammmate had the quafle now and saw he was getting chased by the chasers from the other team. Dealer got an idea and flew in front of the Ravenclaw goal~

"Pass it HERE!! I'm open J!" Dealer yelled~Lily got the quaffle but Dealer dove down and crashed into her making her drop it~

(Slytherin Chaser)

~Fated opened his hands and let the quaffle fall into his grip~

"I got it!" He shouted and flew over sending it through the lower Ravenclaw goal~

"WOOHOOO!!"

"Yes good job!

He flew up and waited to see what would happen now
