HEBB: The Kitchen

"Why, what's wrong with me?" He looked at Jenn, leaning on his elbow, quirking a brow.

::Lifey laughed, grabbed a pancake, and sat on a kitchen stool, munching happily::

::streams was tense. the smells of food were making her hungry again, but she didn't dare eat the food if she didn't watch it being prepared::

"Exactly what was wrong with me." She joked. Noticing Seamus was waiting for a real answer, she turned around quickly and pretended to busy herself with cleaning up::

"Er...now where did I leave that...." She trailed off as she tried to think of a chore to do.::

"spatula?" ::Lifey offered::

::Jenn smiled gratefully at Lifey, "Yes, my spatula!" She picked it up and started toward the sink. "I suppose I'll, er, wash it now."

::streams rolled her eyes. whatever happened to subtlety? she wondered. maybe these people weren't sharp enough to be spies after all...::

::Lifey giggled, then looked over at streams who was still looking on edge::

"are you okay? maybe you should ask for a calming draught to be sent up...you know?"

"no! I'm fine!" ::streams shuddered at the thought of having to drink a potion that she hadn't watched being prepared...it could be anything!

"thanks for asking though, lifey," she said grudgingly.

"Okay, I've heard that big brother has a profesional motions master and a team of healers here for us though."

Seamus frowned and stood, walking over and poking Jenn. "Hey, don't think that you can avoid the question!"

"that's the last thing I needed to hear," streams muttered. "a potions master overseen by Big Brother himself. "can this get any worse??"

"Is there something wrong with big brother?"

:Lifey wondered aloud::

"of course not!" streams said, laughing. "there's nothing to worry about,nothing at all!"

::now I've done it, she groaned inwardly. if BB finds out that I'm onto him, I'll be killed for sure...::

::Jenn raised up her hand and avoided Seamus's gaze.::

"Shhh! I'm busy...cleaning." She said as she looked around the kitchen. "There's gotta be some dirty dishes somewhere..." Jenn muttered to herself.

"Fine, I'll get you later, Jenn." He smirked and followed Drake out of the kitchen.

::Lifey conjured a HUGE pile of dirty dishes to land in the sink::

"happy? or too late" ::Lifey raised her wand again::::she sighed. It was getting late.::

::Jenn peeked behind them and breathe a huge sigh of relief.::

"Why am I hiding from him?" She asked Lifey. "He insulted me first!" Looking down at the pile of dishes, she grimaced. "Now I actually have to clean." She said with a laugh.::

::streams listened carefully, her eyes darting between the people in the room and the exit.::

::Lifey smiled::

"here let me help"

moony walked into the kitchen just in time to see streams acting very suspicious. Her mind began to wonder if she was big brothers spy. She decided to follow her carefully.

::WL stepped into the kitchen and looked around for the fridge...it was lunchtime and she was hungry and she wanted to know where EXACTLY the FOOD had GONE!!!!::

"Hey everyone," Elana said groggily from her position under the table. So tired, she had fallen asleep and hadn't woken up till just now. She rubbed her eyes, sitting up. "What did I miss?"

::She crawled out and sat on a stool, covering a yawn with her hand.::

::Jenn smiled at the newcomers and pulled out another pan from the cupboard.::

"Apparently just all the food." Jenn joked. "I made some breakfast but took so long it ended up being lunch! What do you guys feel like eatting? I'll see if I coulod whip something up for you."

*Etta emerges from a cupboard above the sink.*

"Theres no more food in that there cupboard," she groans as she chucks a box full of tins down onto the bench below.

::streams grew even more uneasy than she already was when she realized Moony was keeping a close eye on her::

Oh no, she thought. Does BB suspect me already? I didn't realize how obvious I was being.

::streams began cheerily whistling and tapping her foot against the floor in time to the beat, hoping this would throw Moony off her scent.::

::then she put some food and water which she had tested for poison, into bowls for her dogs, which they sniffed suspiciously before eating and drinking eagerly.::

::Amber followed prinny into the kitcen.::

"Are you sure the painkillers are in here?"

::prinny began raiding the cupboards::

"hey guys!" ::she said with her head in the cupboard:: "um jenn...i'd love something to eat...if the offers still going"

::moving on to the next cupboard she hoped she'd find them soon::

::Amber sat down.::

"Great I'm going to be known as the wet blanket of the group now," ::she sighed.::

"huh? whats a wet blanket?" ::prinny paused, waiting for a reply before yelling:: "got it!" ::she got up and handed the painkillers to amber:: "yeah so...whats a wet blanket?"

::Amber laughed.::

"Its someone that kind of abides by all the rules, and doesn't party or drags down teh parties."

"oooo...well your ill! come on...have some tablets and lets go explore!" ::she said, prinny was feeling very hyper...it was just a shame no-one wanted to share it with her"

::Amber took the advil.::

"Whats the rush?" ::she asked.::

"well..i dunno...lets just go!" ::she said and ran into the dining room::

::streams wiped the floor where Spike had splashed some of his drinking water. Then Stab pricked his ears and streams knew something was up. "Let's get out of here!" she exclaimed, running out with her two dogs behind her.::

~Jesse wandered into the kitchen and then grinned seeing the stove and had the urge to cook.~

"Hey I'm going to make Kung pao chicken with veggies and chow mein noodles! Does anyone else want some!" he shouted~

Illy looked suspiciously at Jesse before slowly raising her hand.

"Im up for it - I'll take on any challenge" she said laughing and preparing her spelll to test for poison

kitkat walked into the kitchen to see the mess that everyone else had left from cooking. They had only been in the house a couple of days and already it looked like a bomb had hit it.

Taking out her wand, she waved it towards the mess and uttered some words. All the rubbish flew across the room towards the bin as the mop and bucket began work on the floor.

Illy ducked as tins and other rubbish flew across the room, banana skins nearly hitting her head.

To avoid the magical clean up, she ran for cover underneith the table

Jess loooked over and felt hungry, "Cheesy corn," She grabbed the corn out of the freezer and placed it in a bowl microwaving it for two minnutes, Then she grabbed the chhese from the fridge and poured it into the yummy bowl of corn. She looked through the pantry and grabbed a bag of chips and then ran into the dinng room

::prinny walked into the kitchen:: "mmm...jesse....that smells good!i want some!" ::prinny said as she walked into the kitchen. too hungry to wait for jesse to make her some noodles she began raiding the cupboards:: "mmm..." ::she said finding a packet of chocolate fudge brownies she ran out of the kitchen, not wanting to share them with anyone::

"I think I"m gonna go..." Elana said, rising sleepily from her stool. "Nice seeing you all."

::She gave a wave to everyone in the kitchen, walked unsteadily out and began making her way to her bed.::

"Hey, Jesse! Cooking asian food is supposed to be MY specialty!" Jenn grabbed a plate of nodles and chopsticks. "Although I'll admit these are quite good." She said with a grin.::

::streams became excited when she caught sight of Illy. Why was she preparing to test the food for poison? Did she KNOW?? Maybe streams and Illy could somehow talk about *it*...but nah. there was no proof that Illy was on the side against BB. and anyway, there were listening devices all over...there was nowhere safe for them to talk. Feeling guilty for even THINKING traitorous thoughts, streams began to mumble over and over again, "BB is Best, BB is Best, BB is Best..."

~Jesse grinned and finished his food and then dished out some of the noodles to all who wanted to have some~ "Well jenn, I am a chef in secret" he said not remembering to turn the stove off~

::Amber walked back in.::

"Who ever was cooking you forgot to turn off the stove." ::she said lazily ploping into a chair, after grabbing a Sprite from the fridge.::

~Jesse walked past amby and suddenly got a whiff of her weird smelling perfume and.."ACHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" sneezed right on her. Then he sniffled. "Amby, did you bathe in that stuff this morning?" he asked as he walked to the otherside of the table and plopped down. he grabbed her can of sprite, took a sip then gave it back to her and got back up and walked away.~

::Amber glared.::

"I don't wear perfume! And that was my Sprite!" ::she yelled after him.::

~Jesse walked to the fridge and pulled out a Dr Pepper and then left the fridge open as he stood there drinking it. Then he tossed the can over his shoulder and grabbed the gallon of milk, pulled off the top and started drinking right from the container~

:Alyssa walked into the kitchen to see a bunch of people. She smiled, twisting her hair around her finger:

"Hey Amb! Whatcha cooking?" she asked, plopping down onto a stool
