HEBB 2 : Kitchen

Katie walked into the kitchen tentativley. No one else was in here and she was a bit nervous to say the least. It was really nerve racking in this house with no one to cater to her every whim. Quietly she took a seat on a bar stool hoping she would be joined by a house mate soon.

Streams bounced into the kitchen, her hands waving like windmills. "Wooow! Wow! It's great to be back! Helloo Hello Hello everyone! I'm Streams! What's your name? Do you like toast? Do you like tea? Do you think you'll win? Is there any food in these cabinets?"

Streams wandered jauntily over to the cabinets, opening them at random and peering at the various jars and boxes inside.

Chris walked into the kitchen and opened the fridge and took out a water. He hadn't had anything to drink since he had gotten here.

Kaitlyn walked into the Kitchen and smiled.. She looked in the Ice Box and frowned.. She than decided to put on some tea. " Does anyone else want any hot tea?" She asked.

"Ooh, I do." CHris said.

" Okay." Kaitlyn said as she put on the tea.. " It will be a couple of minuets." She said.

"OK." Chris said. He walked into the pantry and grabed a bag of cookies. HE sat down at the table and started to eat the cookies.

Kaitlyn walked over to the tea pitcher again and pored two cups of tea. She walked one back over to Chris and than sat one down on the bar stool ,where she was sitting. " If any one else wants tea it will be sitting over there" she said to the people there.

"Thank you." Chris said. He picked up the cup and took a sip.

" No problem." Kaitlyn said.

Chris ate some more of the cookies and took a sip of his tea.

Kaitlyn smiled at Chris and drank her tea. ( Bye)

Chris finished off his tea and the cookies. "That was good Kaitlyn."

"Hello, I am Chris. Welcome to the Big Brother House." Chris said.

"No, I will stay here and enjoy my tea and cookies." Chris answered Jessica.

"Bye." Chris said as he watched Jessica giggle. Already flirting with someone. And the game begins. Chris thought.

Chris got up and poored him some more tea.

"Hmm food food I want something to eat!" Streams muttered to herself, bustling around the kitchen and grabbing jars, utensils and bread as she walked around, never standing still. About four minutes later, she was holding a peanut butter, jelly and banana sandwich.

She tucked the jars back into the cabinets, the utensils in the sink, and pushed herself up onto the counter, gazing down at everyone as she took a large bite of her sandwich.

Pamela walked into the kitchen. She saw Streams eating what appeared to be a PB&J. That gave Pamela an idea. Rummaging through the cabinets she found a small skillet. Then she got the appropriate jars and grabbed some margarine from the fridge.

She made the PB&J the usually way, then she spread margarine on the outside of both pieces of bread. Then she popped it on the skillet and grilled it up. Her Aunt Cathy had taught her that this was the only way to eat a PB&J when she was just 8 or so. Leaning against the counter, she took a bite.

"Ouch!" She said, cursing her forgetfullness. These things got even hotter than grilled cheese. "So Streams," Pamela began. "Getting settled in?"

"CORNCAKE!" Dragon burst into the room and spying the food on the counter she grabbed it greedily and munched on it with an innocent look on her face. Waving to Pamela and Streams she found a stood and with a twirl she was going 'round and 'round and 'round - faster and faster...

Pamela watched as Dragon ran in and began to spin on a stool. If Pamela had done that, she would have done one of two things--fallen or thrown up. Pamela decided to watch and see if Dragon did either of those herself.

Chris finished off his second cup of tea and then carried it over to the sink and washed it.

Caro skipped into the kitchen, and waved to everyone.

"Hiiiii!" she greeted, and leaned down to get out a bowl from one of the cupboards - ending up with fifteen bowls crashing on the floor as she did so. "Today, you will all be witnesses to Caro's Amazing Cooking - deal with it! This is Yummie!Chanel, everyone!" she said cheerfully, and started to pile ingredients on the table. "First... we take RUMMMMMM!!!!!" Caro announced loudly, and poured the entire bottle in the bowl. "...why is the rum always gone!?" she grumbled, and frowned. "Anywhoo!" she said, shaking her head. "Then... we add, um... ICE CREAM!!!!!!" Caro said and ran to the freezer, and pulled out three boxes of ice cream - chocolate, vanilla and strawberry.

"Who wants to be my partner in crime today?" she asked, looking around at the others.

As Katie remained stationary on her bar stool the kitchen started to fill up with both people she knew and complete strangers who would hopefully turn into allies. With a glance around the large, open room, she decided it would be best to introduce herself. "Hey everyone. My name's Katie."

Katie smiled in return to Cat and replied, "I'm good. A little tired, a little nervous though. How about you?"

Streams ate her sandwich placidly for a few minutes.

"So Streams," Pamela began. "Getting settled in?"

"Sure! I absolutely LOVE it here!" Streams exclaimed, swallowing before she continued. "I mean, it's so eerie and awesome all at the same time!!! And --"

She paused, inspecting her sandwich. She stopped chewing in the middle of a bite, then she rushed to the rubbish bin and spit her sandwich into it. "That was a bad banana!" she squeaked sadly. "That banana was awful! Why is my life such an utter mess? Why can't even something stupid like a banana go right?!"

A tear slid down her cheek as she looked distractedly down at her sandwich, then she left it on the counter and walked out of the kitchen, sobbing.

Caro eyed the girl in front of her, who had just offered to help out with the cooking - and had actually said a name too!

"Kaylee, you say?" Caro said and grinned. "Can I call ya Kay? Or Lee? I'm very bad with memorizing long names, mwehh... I'm so old and all. But now, let's make some cookin', all right?" she said, and pulled Kaylee to the fridge, and started to pile food into the poor girl's arms. "You take these... and that... ooh! And we need these too! OH M GOD LOOK!!!!! Here's more! Hey, take that one too..." she muttered as the pile grew larger and larger.
