8th House Quidditch: SLYTHERIN V GRYFFINDOR: 28th - 1st

(Slytherin Beater)

Jess yawned coming out onto the feild in her Slytherin cheer outfit. Im ready to play she said flying up into the air on her broom then finaly noaticing no one was there yet. So she pulled her Ipod out and began jamming wiating for everyone to show up!

(Slytherin captain and chaser)

~He yawned as he strode out onto the field carrying his broom. He saw Jess was there and waved to her. "Morning Jess, ready for a good match?"

He then looked around slowly to find that not a single Gryffindor had arrived.~

(gryffindor chaser)

Traci finally able to make a match proudly kiced of the ground and zoomed around waiting for the people to come she saw jess and jesse and went down to talk to them full of energy "HI guys ready for the match. I am soo excited. she said rather fast.

(Slytherin Seeker)

It was Seamus' first match ever, well against people who wern't a bunch of hyperactive Irishmen. He strode out onto the Pitch with his broom over his shoulder. "Oy Jesse! Jess!" He waved as he approached the two. "Good day for a match, eh?"

(Slytherin chaser)

~Jesse grinned then nodded to Traci~ "Hey Traci, we're going to have a good game today huh?" He asked as he jumped on his broom and took to the air getting ready for the game to start~

(Gryffindor Seeker)

Drake finished putting on his Quiccitch gear and made his way out to the Pitch, Firebolt propped against his shoulder. He refused to be late for this match. "Brilliant." He smiled as he walked out onto the open grass of the Pitch. He was actually early this time. He looked about and waved at Traci. "Oi, Traci!" He began to walk over when his eyes met the members of the Slyhterin team already there. "Jesse, Jess." He nodded to the two, but then his eyes fell upon the face of none other than his brother, Seamus. "Seamus." He glared slightly at his brother, tilting his head slightly in a defiant manner.

(Slytherin chaser)

"It's a great day for a match, Seamus!" He called to him. Then he nodded to Drake. "Good luck today, Drake cuz against us, you will NEED it!"

And then as soon as he said this, the quaffle was tossed in~

(Slyterin Seeker)

"That it is!" He smirked and looked over at his brother. "Oh its you." He glared back and then a smirk spread his features. "Yes, good luck Drakei boy...you'll need it." And with that, Seamus mounted his broom and kicked off, starting his rounds of the pitch.

"Thanks...I think." He nodded to Jesse and the turned his emerald gaze on his brother. "Don't be so sure of that Seamus." He shook his head. Cocky little prat. He took a deep breath and mounted his Firebolt, taking off on the green tail of Seamus.

(Slytherin Chaser)

~Jesse swooped down, and then back up as the quaffle began its rapid descent towards the ground. He performed a mini version of the 'snake of salazar' manuever and swept up under the ball, catching it. His broom then swerved and he found himself sharply turning and flying towards Gryffindor's goal area.~

Seamus weaved in and out of the Slytherin goal posts, dark eyes keeping a watch out for the Snitch. "GO JESSE!" He grinned as Jesse sped off down the Pitch with the Quaffle.

(Slytherin Chaser)

~Jesse saw Seamus in the distance in search of the snitch and then as he was approaching Gryffindor's goal area, he saw that he had a clear shot at the lowest hoop and as he approached it, he aimed and with accurate precision he threw the quaffle right through the hoop. He scored the first goal of the game and slytherin earned slytherin 10 points~

(Slytherin Beater)

Jess who had fallen asleep on her broom with the ipod on heard a loud whistle and woke up "WHO says you cant go home!" She sang just waking up and then she noaticed the game had started.... "oh crudnuckles," She grabbed the ipod and stowed it away. Aww its only traci and Drake I dont want to beat up either of them with a bludger, She swerved to the left seeing the first bludger, she steadeid her broom and hit it towards Drake, "sorry Drake" she whispered under her breath, but its quidditch.

(Gryffindor Beater)

::Amber ran into the field slightly late, but she had beeten some others so she didn't feel so bad about it. She immedately jumped on her broom and headed into the air. She looked ahead of her and saw Seamus and looked behind and saw Jesse.::

"Alright I can do this," ::she told herself. She used the Bludger Backbeat and sent the bludger flying in the direction of Jesse.::

"Sorry Jesse, nothing personal," ::she mumbled.::

(Gryffindor Beater)

::Amber laughed at Ginny's commentating.::

"I miss commentating," ::she said a loud to the air.:: "Maybe I'll get to again!"

::She looked around wondering where the rest of her team was.::

Traci laughed at her sister commentary ways but got the quaffle away from jesse and stricked towards the slytherin hoop aimed and made a goale for gryffindore. She cheered for herself and flew by jesse who looked stunned "yes i am good" shhe sad to him the smiled at her twinny for wacking him

(Gryff Keeper)

Swift was tired. No, she was ill, didn't get back to her dorm because her parents had kept her working until 1am, she had REALLY BAD cramps, AND she was tired.

So it was with this extremely foul mood she dragged herself towards the Quidditch pitch from the Gryffindor locker room. Needless to say, she was far from pleased to see that the match had already started... however, two of the team's important people were on the pitch, which somehow put a smile on her face.

Kicking off from the ground was just what she needed, as she sped towards her goalposts, unaware of the goal already scored by Jesse. But, she was there and ready to prevent any more goals from going in!

(I'm sick... how did you guess? XD)

(Gryffindor Beater)

::Amber cheered loudly for her twinny. And the fact that swiftie had arived.::

"Hey Swiftie you don't look to good."

(gryffindor chaser)

"Hey mum" she yelled as Traci zoomed by her "you dont look to good." she called "it's nice to see you." she was now on a way to find who has that quaffle

(Slytherin Chaser)

~Thankfully Jesse had been able to get the quaffle that had been thrown in earlier and was now zooming down the pitch, zig-zagging this way and that trying to get to the Gryffindor goal. He saw swifters ahead and did a quick dive right under her and came up on the other side throwing the quaffle into the right hoop.~

(Gryffindor Beater)

::Amber watched as Jesse headed toward the Gryffindor hoops. She quickly hit a bludger toward Jesse but he still scored.::

"Oh well you can't win them all," ::she said.:: "Or in our case any."

(Slytherin Chaser)

~He flipped upside down on his broom as the quaffle was thrown in again. And just before Traci could get it, Jesse performed the move called the 'Serpent Snatch' and caught the quaffle with one hand. He went into a rolling nose dive which then turned into the "Arrow of Accuracy" flying manuever that allowed him to zoom up with a great burst of speed. He swooped back down again, his broom whistling and howling against the air currents as he just barely missed swifter's head who luckily had ducked. He spiraled towards the right hoop but unfortunately swifters flew up and blocked him.~
"Awww swifters, aren't you going to let me throw this in?"
~He smirked at her irritated glare.~

~He shrugged then chuckled. "Okay, have it your way." He pulled the handle of his broom back and sped way up towards the highest hoop and slam dunked the quaffle right into the middle of it~

"Woohooo!" He cheered as he turned and flew back to get ready for it to be thrown in again.~

(Gryffindor Beater)

::Amber sighed irrataded.::

"My goodness!" ::She said before hitting the bludger directly at the quaffle sending it flying into a gryffindor chasers arms.::

(Slytherin Chaser)

~Jesse watched as amber swatted the quaffle to a gryffindor chaser and immediately he began to give chase after them. He kicked his broom into a faster speed as he hurried to catch up with them.~

Drake cursed under his breath as Slytherin scored. "Bloody..." He gurmbled as he rounded the other end of the pitch, emerald eyes out for the Snitch. Where was everyone anyway? The match was in full swing now...he sighed. At least he managed to be on time THIS time. He smriked, seeing Seamus making his way down the pitch. "Perfect." He mocked a triumphant grin and sped into a Wronski Feint. The wind whizzing past his ears and his robes billowing behind him were like music to his ears and he grinned broadly, hoping that Seamus would follow. CRACK! He heard the sickening noise before he felt it, which was suprising seeing as though he had just taken a Bludger from Jess in the ribcage. He doubled over on his broom and held his breath as if he were afraid to again. The handle of his Firebolt met the ground...hard and he was flipped from it and as he tumbled rather painfully across the grass, he heard an even more sickening crack than the one in his ribs and he looked in horror at his broom a few years away, snapped clean in two. He closed his eyes tightly and let out the breath he had been holding slowly and painfully. He lay his head back on the grass and cursed himself in his head. This was bloody brilliant...Seamus had him this time and he supposed Ginny got that crash she wanted...though he suspected that Seamus wished he were the cause of it. (Unfortunately, I have to go out of town until the 31 so, I don't know that I'll have the time to post, so...yeah Drake's out of the match! But, you'll still have Seamus!)

(Gryffindor Chaser)

::Amy flew onto the pitch, smiling sheepishly at her team mates.::

"Sorry, sorry!" She called, "I overslept! I'm here now though!"

::She flew into the melée and caught the quaffle amber threw. She then zoomed away from the approaching Jesse, and hurried towards the goalposts, hopefully to score her first goal of the match.::

Traci smirked as she had the quaffle she zoomed to the slytherin goal posts and scord took out her wand yell "accio quaffle" caught it and scored again
she repeat ed the process till they were two scores up and turned around to see the stuned look on jesse's face beforezooming up by her twinny to see who got the quaffle next.

(gryffindor chaser)

::prinny stumbled out on t o the pitch. she grinned at her teammates "sorry i'm late" then she kicked off...eager to get started. catching the quaffle that traci threw to her she and her fellow chasers got into the haxkshead attacking formation. zooming toward the goalposts their opponents scattrered out of the way. she quickly passed to amy who scored::

"us gryyfindores rock" traci yelled over the crowd." she loved quiddtch and was happy how well they/she was playing.

"mhm...we sure do" ::she said as she high fived traci. then grabbing the quaffle amy threw to her she uickl passed to traci::

(Slytherin Seeker)

Seamus was thorughly enjoying himself, zigging and zagging about the Pitch and watching Jesse score. His eyes darted down the field as a flash od scarlet caught his eye. Drake was diving for the Snitch. "Bollocks..." He sped off down the Pitch and began to follow his brother in the dive when a Bludger whizzed past him. He pulled back on his broom and hovered there, watching the Bludger hit Drake hard in the ribs. Much to his suprise, he winced and watched as Drake tumbled to the ground, his Firebolt snapping in two. That's when he saw it...a glint of gold out of the corner of his eye and he followed it a moment as he hovered there. He looked around the pitch helplessly and finally found Jesse and looked at his as if asking waht to do.

(gryff chaser)

::prinny watched as drake was falling to the ground. tucking the quaffle between her knees she flew, full speed, toward drake and managed to catch him before he hit the ground. unfortunately she was still plumetting downward. leavinng drake to steady himself ahe grabbed her broom and slowed it down - landing safetly. she called over the rest of the team::[/i]

(Gryff Keeper)

::Swift saw that her team's three chasers were busy with the Quaffle, and after reassurance at their actions that the Quaffle wouldn't be going near her goalposts anytime soon, she flew down to where Prinny was tending to Drake.

"Go, we need you up there," she said to her granddaughter, "I'll take it from here."

Swift looked down at their Seeker, doubled over in agony. She glanced at his broom, lying splintered on the floor, whipped her wand out of her robes, and concentrated. I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, she thought to Mother Nature, as an exact replica of the Firebolt materialised out of thin air. It may not have been the same, charm and magic-wise, but it was a broom that Drake needed... once she got him mended.

Looking up, she saw that Jesse had the Quaffle, and was making his way towards the Gryffindor goalposts, EXTREMELY quickly.

Think, think, think....think! .... No. She wasn't going to try something she hadn't done before. Her chakra wasn't ready. (Hey, she's a ninja too. If magic can happen, so can this XD) Shaking slightly, she put her hand over Drake's chest. Sweat began to form on her forehead, and she closed her eyes, knowing she had little time.

Pushing energy out of a body wasn't easy, you know. Putting it into one was another thing.

Concentrating on her hand, Swift opened her eyes. Yes! As it started to glow, she glanced upwards again, relieved that it was Traci who now had the Quaffle. Below her, Drake began to stir, and she knew that she had managed to help his ribs function until at least the end of the match.

Good-o! "Sorry, can't stay, get yourself up there quick, okay?" She grinned at him, mounted her broom, and kicked off to the goalposts.::

(Is it just me, or do I make REALLY long posts....)

::prinny glanced around. she couldnt focus properly, she was worried about drake AND their keeper was out of play. she was watching as swifty did some unusual magic to drake. then as she saw drake had been revived she trusted that he was ok and continued with the match. suddenly she heard traci yell her name. then as the quaffle came flying to her she caught it and sped toward the goalposts. dodging a bludger that the slytherin beater hit her way she quicky scored::

::traci watched as prinny scored We got this in the bag she thought "Oi Prinny over here" she yelled as the quaffle came flying at her she zoomed past alot of the slytherin team and scored agin caught the quaffle and looked around for someone to throw it to.

(Slytherin Seeker)

Seeing that Drake was in the hands of his teammates, Seamus' dark eyes drated about, searching for where the elusive golden Snitch had gotten to. "Bollocks." He had lost it while he was busy being concerned with Drake and he bit the inside of his cheek, sighing with irritation. He rounded his broom about and started his rounds about the pitch once more. He dodged a Bludger coming his way by performing a rather shaky handstand on his broom, looking back at the ground as Drake stood up. He settled back on his broom and let his dark eyes wander about for the Snitch.

(Gryffindor Seeker...trip got cancelled! I'm BACK!)

Drake felt rather strange as he lay there on the gras...he heard the voices of Prinny and Swifty, but he didn't really pay much mind to what they were saying...the only thing he could think about was that his ribs hurt...a lot...and that his Firebolt was laying in pieces not that far away. Bloody brilliant... He hit thr ground with his fast as the other still stood around him. Swifty was telling Prinny to go back to the game now. What about the posts? He let out a painful sigh and opened one eye, seeing Swifty kneeling near him. "Wha..." He had no idea what she was doing, but he suddenly found that he could breathe quite a bit less painfully, though he still felt a bit sore. "Thanks..." He sat up slowly as she took off back to the game. "Get back to the game? How?" His emerald eyes looked about him and he saw a replica of his Firebolt sitting near the broken up one. It may not be the real Firebolt, but it would get him through the game."I love you Swifty." He smiled ecstatically and got to his feet, seizing the broom and mounting it, kicking off from the ground and back into the game. "Woo hoo!" He waved to Priny and Swifty, his mood improving by the minute. "Thanks!" He was still sore, but he had a sudden rush of adreneline and pride, Gryffindor was going to win this one if it killed him...which it almost had already. He spied Seamus at the far end of the Pitch and he took off in that direction, pulling up alongside his brother. "Love how you came to see if I was alright." He glared and shook his head. "Talk more later." He shook off the urge to knock the boy down and took off back in the other direction, going high above the pitch to see if he could spy the snitch.

::glad that drake was back in the air prinny was finally able to fully concentrate. noticing that traci needed back up she flew up close to her and caught the quaffle that was thrown her way. then passing back to traci she watched as she went on to score a spectacluar goal that the slytherin kepper didnt even try to save::

(Slytherin Chaser)

::Enter the Magnificent Iritzsipv Salazar! Finally making her way into the game! >.>;

Iritzsipv mounted her broom and sped off up into the air. She zoomed past Prinny and Traci and grabbed the Quaffle as it was thrown back into play. It was time to show these Gryffindors who was the boss of things.

Holding tight and fast to the Quaffle, Iritzsipv waved at Jesse and flipped her broom upside down. One of the opposing Beaters hit a bludger her way, but she only dove steeply downwards to avoid being hit.

When she was near the goals, Iritzsipv flipped back upright, zoomed upwards, faked a score, then shot the Quaffle right past the baffled Keeper to make her first score of the game.

It would certainly not be her last.

Iritzsipv sped off and greeted her teammates.::

~Jesse smirked at Traci. Whipping her wand out in a game was certainly going to show the judges her blatant breaking of the rules. He then turned his attention to his team and cheered as Ritzy made a spectacular goal.~

~Now the quaffle was back into play and not a moment too soon for Jesse zoomed up in and caught it with his out stretched hands as his legs held his broom tightly. And then he swerved his broom, cradling the quaffle in his arms and ducked a bludger as he set off in the direction of the Gryffindor goal. He could see the keeper looked disgruntled as he approached but that was just fine cuz he anticipated swift would be a rough keeper.~
~He doubled back just as he was approaching and spiraled diagnally up then down taking care to keep away from prinny and traci who were seemed ready to make a move at any time. He breathed slowly, plotting out his strategic move. After all, he did feel that this game was too important to make a fatal error. And as he circled around the goal he watch swift cut him off at each pass until he'd noticed her pattern. She was too protective of that tall hoop and the right one which meant the left one would be open if he timed it just right he'd be able to have a 4 second lead on her and get a chance to score. And so he pushed on his broom handle down, and noticed the keeper inching between the tall hoop and the right one like he'd predicted. His blue eyes narrowed and he then pulled the broom handle upwards rising slowly up in the air until he was level with the tallest hoop. Swift seemed to be playing right into his hands and he tried to hide the smug look on his face as he quickly backflipped then dove straight down towards the low hoop. Unfortunately, as he tossed it, the quaffle was not centered and bounced off the side of the hoop.
Luckily it fell right into Ritzy's hands.~

~Jesse could hear swift's roar of laughter but he didn't let it bother him for as he swooped down Ritzy tossed the quaffle back to him and just as swift was closing in on blocking it, Jesse slammed the quaffle right into the hoop and flew away feeling swift's burning annoyance behind him. He knew her face must be red as she had failed at her block attempt and thus he had scored another 10 for Slytherin.

But he didn't celebrate for the quaffle was thrown towards a gryffindor player and Jesse motioned for Ritzy to follow him which she did. They got on either side of the gryffindors and jesse distracted them while ritzy was able to somehow get the quaffle and fly off with it.~

~Jesse left the gryffindor chasers in a cloud of confusion and zoomed off after Ritzy. "Ritzy, go for it!" He shouted but swift was back and fuming mad at her keeper position and jesse knew ritzy would need his help. He zoomed right over and motioned to Ritzy~
She must have seen his signal for she passed the quaffle to him which he took and gladly sent through the left hoop scoring yet again for Slytherin.~

::prinny grabbed the quaffle that swifty threw to her, looking around fors ome back up she noticed that her fellow chasers were all preoccupied and so she attempted it on her own. holding the quaffle tight she flew straight down the middle ofthe pitch, feinting to the left she shot the ball into the middle hoop::

Drake frowned as Jesse scored. "Bloody hell." But his frown soon turned to a wide grin as he spotted his brother hovering not too far from him...with the Snitch hovering just behind his right shoulder, taunting him. "Oi! Seamus!" Drake swppoed over and smiled at his brother. "Good game Seamus, well played for your first game." He nodded slowly and put his arm around his dear brother, performing the Plumpton Pass. "You missed a golden opportunity when I was nearly dead down there you know." He smirked and patted Seamus' shoulder. "REALLY good game Seamus." With that, he flew away in the opposite direction, grinning all the while as he winked at a passing Prinny

(Still the commentator you all know and love...so now I'm going to give you some fun stuff to...:read!:hehe)

::Ginny rocked back and forth in her seat, unable to contain her excitement.::

"It appears as though Prinny has caught Drake ! Ooh, and now she's tending to him but-what's this? Oh, Mum 's told her to go help the other chasers. And off Prinny goes. But what's Mum doing now? Oooh...she's healed Drake's wounds! Fantastical Mum. You'll have to teach me how to do that sometime. Anyhoo, she's made him a broom too. Drake's basically set to go." ::she nodded with a smile, obviously impressed by her mother's abilities.::

"Prinny scores! The Gryffindors now lead 40-10. Traci's got possession of the quaffle once more, what's she going to do with it this time?" ::But then Ginny perceptively caught sight of Seamus' obvious joy at his brother's safe recovery.::

"Oh will you look at that! Seamus is all happy to know his brother's okay!!" ::she shouted into the microphone.:: "And looks like they're having a brotherly moment and-" ::a loud roar from the Gryffindor supporters alerted her to Prinny's other goal.::

"Tarnation, can't a woman comment and embarass people without-Woo! My Jujubean is on fire tonight! 50-10, Gryffindors!" ::A familiar face entering the pitch made the red head cry out happily.::

"Ritzy's back! Ritzy's back! Ritzy is a Slytherin Chaser AND another one of my daughters, for those of you who are slightly insane and don't know her. And after some fancy flying-WATCH OUT FOR THAT BLUDGER and-yes, she's scored! The Slytherins now have 20 points, but the Gryffindors still have the lead. Those snakes will have to keep fighting if they hope to catch up!" ::A streak of green flying by the commentators box illicited a grin from her.::

"There goes Jesse with the Quaffle and-werewolves alive, those flying maneuvers are making me dizzy...Ooh, bad luck there, after all of that he missed the goal! Huh?? What??? Ritzy's got the Quaffle?! Oh, never mind, I lied, she passed it to Jesse and he scored." ::Ginny laughed, waving to him as he passed.::

"And he and Ritzy are going after the Gryffindor chasers...and...wooo! He scored again! That's 50-40, with the snakes biting the lions butts in the score. Wow, that was quite the comment to make...ANYHOO...Prinny, just scored for Gryffindor! Atta girl! Just like her mum, never letting those Slytherins get her down. 60-40, Gryffindor."

(Nope, no McGonagall in this one ^.^)
