Let the match begin!

Weather: It's late into the night on the quidditch pitch on this spooky night - the ghosts are out and haunting the night! The full moon can be seen out tonight through streaked clouds which gives the quidditch pitch a unique light that the bright lights just can't compare with. Halloween is upon us and the temperature is cool bringing with it a strange chill in the air but there's no wind. Temperature in the low 60s, with the clouds are hanging low giving off a mystical fog making it difficult to see!

Notes: Welcome to the seventh match of the Quidditch Cup! Good luck to all players! Please forgive Lily for posting this late - she has been busy with work and also might be getting sick. Therefore this game will begin on Sunday and end on Thursday. Happy Halloween!

(Ravenclaw Beater)

:: Walking towards the mirror, Herby smirks well putting on her last piece of whiskers. She was quite satisfied with the results of her costume considering it was picked at the last possible moment. It wasn’t a huge surprise that Herby was always preparing right at the last second. There were several close calls but make no mistake she was always ready when the time came. ::

:: Herby grabbed her broom and beaters bat as she headed towards the Ravenclaws change room. Adjusting her tail, Herby glanced around and noticed several other team members dressed to the nile with all sorts of costumes. ::

:: Taking one last look at her team mates who were busy organizing their costumes, Herby headed out towards the pitch. Gasping Herby couldn’t believe the site that was now the pitch. It was completely different then she had ever seen. Total darkness was already setted in, and weird ghost and goblins continued to fly around. The air was chilly but to Herbys surprise there wasn’t a blow of wind. This gave Herby the creepy geebsey. Hairs started to stand on end on the back of Herbys neck. ::

:: Smirking a bit, Herby knew this was going to be the best Halloween Quidditch ever!! Jumping on her broom and being careful of her magical tail, Herby lifted off the ground. A few times Herby was scared by the ghost, but shrugged it off as she took her position.::

(Ravenclaw Seeker)

Rigby hopped into the locker room. She was desperate to get into her quidditch robes. After the rather unsuccessful Medusa transfiguration she had decided instead on a simple mermaid spell. The only problem is that she had to keep the tail wet, but she had installed a misting devise on the inside of her quidditch robes. She could not wait to get on her broom and into the air, hopping on a tail was not for her!

Shrugging into her robes she activated her misting device. Instant relief. Her scales had started to get dry and uncomfortable. She glanced in her locker mirror and shook her long blue locks. Her seaweed barrettes flew every which way. She dabbed on some extra blue glitter, and re-applied her blue lipstick. This would be the first time she had played quidditch in a costume, but at least she has scratched her earlier idea of dressing up in a straight jacket. It would have been a little more challenging to catch the snitch.

She bounded over to her broom, hopping on gracefully. Flying onto the pitch, the autumn scented wind whirled around her. Her eyes water briefly in the brisk air, quickly adjusting in order to start the snitch searching immediatly. She had failed to catch the snitch in the last game, making her hungry for the winning move.

Ra-Ra-Ravenclaws, Happy Halloween, Unsheath Your Claws!

(Ravenclaw Keeper)

Nancy walked out of Hogwarts and took a deep breath of the fresh night air. It was slightly chilly out but there was no breeze blowing what-so-ever. She took a look around the grounds, emerald eyes scanning all around her. The outside area looked almost spooky and there was a full moon out. The perfect conditions for a game that would be going into Halloween!!

She sported a devil's costume for the occasion. She figured that dressing up for the game would be fun and she thought a devil suited her well enough. Those that knew her well would know why.

She took a moment to readjust the horns on her head and then gripped her broom tightly in her right hand and began sprinting toward the pitch, very earger to get up into the air and start playing the game. Once she had reached the quidditch game area she mounted her broom and kicked off hard from the ground. An instant smile was brought on her lips as she felt that all too familiar but never tiring rush take over her body of being up in the air, flying fast on her broom.

She reached the goal posts within a matter of moments and carefully chose a position in front of the middle hoop. A quick glance around would show her that she wasn't the first to arrive at the match. She saw Herby and Kate flying around and waved to them and gave them a warm smile. All she had to do now was sit and wait for the others to arrive and the action to begin.

In light of the holiday's she decided to sing a little song to pass the time until the actual game started.

"Come little children, I'll take thee away
Into a land of enchantment.
Come little children, the times come to play,
Here in my garden of magic."

(Slytherin Keeper and Captain)

Raistlin left the dungeons and walked through the castle towards the grounds. He couldn't have asked for a better vibe, night, chilly and halloween vibe.

Raistlin wasn't wearing any costume, his dark green robes and semblance were scary enough, though his face could remember the one of a sweet gentil boy, his aura and look was as agressive, tough and imponent as a being from immemorial times.

He walked passing his hand in the castles walls. Finally reaching the hall door he opened it wide and inhaled the fresh breeze. Without closing the door he continued his path to the quidditch pitch.

Despite the darkness he could see some figures already in the air. Quickly he grabbed his broom in the locker room and moved himself to the pitch. Mounting his broom it was before nothing he was flying around his goalpoast.

Raistlin gazed at the people there "Some unsuall choices for customs" he thought. Briefly he waved to the other players. No Slytherins were to be seen. This no longer surprised or angered Raistlin. The Quidditch cup seem to shine no interest in Slytherins this year. Nevertheless he was Captain and a responsability.

Now he only had to wait for the game to start and try to 'lessen the blow'.

"Time to fight" he whispered.

(Slytherin Beater)

Rocky walked out onto the Quidditch field, his false fangs gleaming in the bright moonlight. He'd taken some pains this year with his costume. He wanted to use magic, but he wasn't confident enough to attempt Transfiguring himself. The muzzle wasn't all that comfortable, but liquid latex was a bit lighter than the paper mache he tried first, though the frame still was annoying either way.

Mounting his broom, he grins under the werewolf mask, glad that his Quidditch uniform covered most of his body. It saved him from having to wear more than the facial disguise, though he thought about wearing a tail, too, and finally decided against it. Kicking off from the ground, he shoots up to hover over Raisty.

"Glad to see ya again, Raisty! Hopefully this time you don't trance out on me like last time!"

Flicking his right hand up, he snatches his club in his hand, waiting for the Game to get started. Looking around, he watches for the Bludgers he's had so much fun playing with.

"Let's hope not Rock, let's hope not" Raistlin said.

His body was being shocked with tension. He wanted to play he wanted action. Unable to keep still Raistlin flew around the goalposts in maximum speed, people could only see a dark cloud around them.

After a few minutes he stopped, the adreneline was a bit peaced now. In his his eyes a mad glitter was shining.

"It's a good thing i'm not a beater this game, I might have let myself go too far." he thought evily to himself.

"Dark clouds,

Spectral night,

Evil wishes,

Unleashed beasts,

Let the horro began!"

Raistlin was humming these lines almost like a chanting.

(Slytherin Beater)

Rocky laughed as soon as Raisty had replied, and he watched Raisty's antics with amusement. I can't blame him, I'm pretty psyched, myself, he mentally commented.

Zipping around on his broom, Rocky swerves from one side of the field to the other, eyes open for any Bludgers to play with. This is going to be a fun game, he thinks to himself while grinning under his muzzle. Good thing I've trained on playing at night. Now, where are all the Chasers?

Shifting his weight, he begins to spiral around. Noticing movement off to his right, he snaps his attention towards the incoming object. Pointing himself directly at the focal point of his attention, he swings his arm about in a circle. Judging by the inability to actually see it, he assumes the inbound thing is a Bludger, but he's not exactly willing to swing blindly at what could be another player.

As he focuses directly on the moving article, a ghost flits back and forth in his peripheral vision. Urging his broom forward, he readies his club for action when the ghost decides to get a bit more active, flying through his body to shoot up higher into the sky. Gasping at the chills flowing through his body, Rocky blinks furiously to regain his night sight, hoping the Supposed Bludger wasn't going to slam into him while he was seeing nothing but brightness.

His vision just beginning to clear, he notices a small dark thing flitting straight for his head. With a yelp, he leans to the left while lashing out with his club with all his might. A loud crack resounds from his bat as he bashes the intruder, noticing with some relief that it is indeed a Bludger flying away from him with a good bit of velocity. Sighing, Rocky rights himself on his broomstick, silently hoping that the game isn't going to be fraught with dangerous situations like the one he just avoided.

Halloween...AND Quidditch?!

What more perfect night could there be?

As she adjusted her light grey mouse ears headband, Elana sprinted into the locker room. She quickly opened her locker, grabbed her bat, broom, and strapped on her guards. While her locker was open, she took a peek at herself in the mirror. She dabbed some more pink facepaint on her nose, and wiggled it to make sure the whiskers would stick. Triumphant, Elana clipped her bat to her belt along with her tail, and headed outside into the pitch lit by the bright light of the full moon.

Taking in the other players costumes, she kicked off and flew into the air. True, hers wasn't that complex- jeans with a light wash, a few layering grey shirts, whiskers, ears, tail, and gloves -but she had had trouble finding a costume suitable for playing Quidditch in! So, a cat and devil on her side against a werewolf and a...Slytherin? Well that was disappointing. Ah well. Shivering because of the chill in the air (why hadn't she added another layer?) she rubbed her grey-gloved hands together, hoping for the game to start soon so she could warm up- and beat Slytherin, of course.

{Ravenclaw Seeker}

I really should've practised this! thought Rigby as she flew through the air. Sitting on a broom with a mermaids tail was like riding side saddle, another thing she had never done before. It took some skill to balance, and with the now crowded pitch her speeds were all over the place, forcing her to correct her balance minutely almost constantly. Still, when was the last time she had played a normal game? Either illness, injury or a head full of snakes were always popping up. Overcoming the obstacales was practically her favorite part.

Her hazel eyes scanned the horizon, and she brushed a stray piece of seaweed off her cheek (once again automatically adjusting her balance). She couldn't wait to catch the snitch and then celebrate with some pumpkin carving. She loved Halloween! It was just too brilliant that they were getting to play a game during her second favorite holiday- Christmas was first and then St. Patricks day a solid third.

Suddenly a glint of golden light caught her eye. Could that be her treasured snitch? Swinging her tail, the momentum swung her broom to the left effortlessly. She was getting used to the darn thing after all. Zooming off, she let out a traditional witches cackle that would have frozen the blood of a muggle.

(Slytherin Beater)

Rocky slowly circled above Raisty's head, still blinking a bit faster than normal to regain his night sight. Grumbling slightly at the ghost who wrecked his vision, Rocky shakes his head, hoping the spots of light will finally clear from his retinas. Well, that's the price I pay for not being nicer to the ghosts, I guess. I just wish we weren't playing at night. I'm so used to being able to see all around me, not having to transition being the light and the dark like this, he thinks to himself.

Grinning to himself, Rocky lets out a great whoop of joy. "Let's go, SLYTHERIN!!"

Raistlin was getting a hard time to control himself. The darkness, the child, the thrill it was too much perfect for him. He was in his environment.

"C'mon will we please get this over with?!"

Raistlin looked at the commentors cabinet.

"Seriously not even the commentor do distract me!"

Raistlin looked to rocky flying above him

"Go get them rocky give them a good halloween souvenir. Let's say Blugers á la BROKEN TEETH!"

Raistlin moved himself right, then left, up and down. It looked like he had some kind of bug in his back making him move senseless.

{Ravenclaw Seeker}

Rigby grinned when she heard Raisty's rant. His prescence always made for a more enjoyable quidditch game. The golden glint she had spotted had turned out to be a high flying fire fly. But at least her eyes were sharp, if she could spot a tiny bug in the darkened skies, the snitch should be easy to spot once it decided to make its appearance.

Swishing her tail, she weaved in and out of the flying quidditch players. Her robes continued to mist her glittery mermaid's tale, and she could only hope that the light reflected off it was bugging her competition. Then again, she didn't want a Slytherin trying to catch her tale instead of the snitch.

Rigby shivered slightly, the air was cool and crisp and she was dressed better for trick or treating than flying in high altitudes with a self misting system. Swooping in close to the stands she snatched a fresh, steaming cup of cocoa from a Ravenclaw first year.

"Thanks for your support!" she yelled cheerily, taking a dreamy sip of creamy hot chocolate. The warmth spread from her belly to her frozen finger tips, within minutes she was encased in a warm glow. Hot Chocolate, number 5 on the list of Best Things About Fall. Rigby dug out a pen and quickly signed the cup, returning it to the duly impressed first year.

Back to the hunt! Her newly warmed body raced through the air, her eyes scanning left and right, searching for the snitch she knew was out there waiting for her.

(Slytherin Chaser)

Kitty arrived at the game rather late but at least she had made it there. She was shivering as she should be, for she was not dressed for the chilly weather.Although she had on her Quidditch attire, she was wearing a short, black leather skirt, a black halter top with a series of thin chain links draped across the upper portion, sweeping downward connecting to the thin silver belt around her waist. Her dark purple eyeshadow was spread thickly over her lids, sparkling with a hint of silver hue. Her eyeliner and mascara both black and rich, accented her eyes. Her black cat ears and tail were enchanted to move on their own for her special feline costume effect. With a a half smile, she mounted her broom and flew up into the air.

She looked around only seeing Raistlin and Rocky; the only two Slytherins on the field.

It seemed that this might be a rather rough game for her house. It was dark, and she wasn't so sure she would be all that good playing Quidditch at night, but she'd have to try to do her best for her team.

Kitty had only been in the air merely a few moments before something red was released into the air.

The Quaffle!

The game had started and as the ball began descending, Kitty flew up to meet it.

She opened her hands, letting the ball slide easily into her grip.

(Slytherin Beater)

Rocky let out a whoop of joy as he saw Kitty ascending from the ground. He zipped over her head, and rolled himself upside down over her head, clinging on to his broom with the strength of his legs.

"Hello, gorgeous!" Rocky yelled to the love of his life just as she grabbed the Quaffle in her hands.

Rolling himself back on to his broom, he zoomed up to take a closer look at something he saw out of the corner of his eye. Banking hard to his left, he begins to pull a gaint 'S' in the air as he searches intently for the whatever-it-was that caught his attention.

Feeling more than seeing the Bludger streaking towards his Chaser, he rolls directly into the Bludger's path, shifting his weight to the back of his broom. Slipping his right leg over his broom, he turns his broom slightly and slows down. Grabbing his broomstick tightly with both hands, one on either side of his body, he lifts his body up slightly off his broom. Sliding his feet out from underneath him, he quickly flips down under his broom, using his momentum to flip up and kick the iron orb away.

Pulling hard, he regains his seating, letting out a loud "Oomph!" as he lands hard on his broomstick. That hurt, Rocky thought. Good thing this time I wore a cup.

Rasitlin saw Kitty arriving in the field and his eyes sparkled with pure mischieviousness.

"Well done Kitty now go score something! But don't forget to let them take the quaffle a bit too I want action too!"

Three Slytherins already in the field Raistlin was expecting only one more "Where are you!?" he asked himself angrily.

With nothing else to do Raistlin practive his "Starfish and Stick" move, holding the broom horizontally with one hand and one foot curled around the handle, while keeping all limbs outstretched Raistlin waved his free limbs to see how far and fast they'd go.

"I wonder when I'll be able to use this."

COMMENTATOR

"Hello, hello, did I hear someone calling me?" Streams shouted, her voice magically enhanced. "Welcome one and all to the 7th House Quidditch game, Ravenclaw vs. Slytherin!"

She took a moment to adjust her electric blue wig, shaking the fringe out of her eyes.

"Well, let's have a look at the players, shall we? From Slytherin, we have a beater, ROCKY! a chaser, KITTY! and the keeper and captian, RAI!" She paused a moment as the green-clad crowd cheered.

"From Ravenclaw, the beaters, HERBY and ELANA!, the seeker, RIGBY! and the keeper, NANCY!" The blue-clad side of the crowd cheered.

She tilted her head as she surveyed the players whooshing about. "You will observe that neither of the teams is here in entirety...ah well, we have one seeker and chaser, so hopefully the game won't be TOO hopeless." She grinned and then continued.

"The Slytherin beater hit a bludger, though it almost seemed like an accident, and I don't blame him! I can barely see a thing, even with enhanced vision. The mist swirling about is confusing things even more...

"What is the Ravenclaw seeker doing? She's flying entirely too close to the crowds...she's gonna crash! She's crashing!!! No..." Streams gasped as Rigby flew very close to the crowds, but then she swerved off suddenly, something in her hand. Streams watched closely as she raised what appeared to be a mug and drowned the contents. "Well..." streams giggled, "Rigby seems to have snatched someone's drink!

"And our favorite Slytherin, the wickedly handsome Rai, appears rather disgruntled. I don't blame him, seeing as half his team's still missing...cheer up, Rai! At least the Slythies have a chaser present!" Streams motioned towards Kitty as she arrived.

"Rocky seems glad to see Kitty, and look! He's just hit another bludger, this time with his foot! Is that even legal? Not to mention extremely painful! Remember your bat, Rocky! And now, Rai is making a spectacle of himself for apparently no reason other than boredom, though perhaps he is practicing. Not the time to practice during the game, Rai! But it's not like there's much else to do...

Well this game is pretty quiet so far, let's take a moment to admire the costumes! I see a mermaid, a mouse, a werewolf, a cat...and Rai is masquerading as a Slythie quidditch captain! Oh wait...he IS the Slythie captain...nevermind."

Stream paused for breath, sweeping her gaze over the pitch. "And well things may perhaps become more exciting, since visibility is still very low and this eerie mist pervades the pitch...maybe some players will collide..." she added hopefully, and then suddenly shrieked. "EEEK! Was that the GRIM??!!"

(Slytherin Keeper and Captain)

Raistlin got back to his normal position above the broom. The commentor had finally arrived.

"Took you long enough" Raistlin shouted.

Raistlin was oddly impacient this game e wanted action. Then suddenly an idea stroke him. He had read something about it. About a move which was not consideraded illegally as long as no actual physicall contact was made.

Raistlin looked at the Ravenclaw players "Ah yes. rigby! I still haven't avenged myself from the last game where she pretend to colide with me so the quaffle would get in."

Quickly Raistlin sped up leaving the Slytherin Goalposts totally unguarded.

Raistlin spoted Rigby she was now mere feet away. Raistlin aimed his punch at her nose and shouted "TRANSYLVANIAN TACKLE!" the shout echoed through the dark night. It looked like Raistlin was actually going to punch Rigby in the face though few second before the punch he moved his fist left so he only passed through her left at great speed with his arm stretched.

"Payback is dirty lover!" he screamed through evil laughs.

COMMENTATOR

"And now our Slytherin captain seems to have realized the benefits of the Ravie chasers being absent, as he's completely abandoned the goal posts and is heading off to wreak havoc! And he's...he's...going to collide with Rigby!" Streams gasped audibly, her eyes riveted on the speeding keeper.

"Or perhaps not," she said disappointedly, as Rai's shout echoed through the stadium. "It would appear that he was just pretending, however, with excellent use of the Transylvanian Tackle, though it is unclear whether or not Rigby was injured. I hope she was, purely for entertainment's sake," she added in a loud whisper, and the green-clad crowd laughed.

Seeing that McGonagall was frowning at her, she shrugged, a little smile on her face. "Sorry, sorry! My violent beater tendencies come out whenever I'm on the pitch..."

(Slytherin Chaser)

"Hello, cutie pie!" She shouted back to Rocky with a sassy smile.

Then she looked towards her destination that lay at the end of the other side of the field. The Ravenclaw goal seemed so far away but she knew she'd reach it.

With the quaffle still in her grip, Kitty flew towards the Ravenclaw goal area. Swaying to and fro on the currents of air, she could see Ravenclaw's goal area coming into sight. The chilly breeze began tickling her neck as she weaved her way through the other players, but she tried to keep focused.

While she was the only chaser on the field, she still knew she couldn't relax and had to stay on guard.

She glanced over seeing that Rocky was handling the bludgers for the moment and so she knew that her objective was to make the score.

The tallest of the hoops looked like the best one to make the score through, so she held tightly to the quaffle as she corkscrewed upwards in a vertical arch. She got ready to through the quaffle through the hoop, but was going faster than she had wanted and passed it.

She stopped herself and turned back around now descending in a corkscrew dive towards the tall hoop. She really couldn't believe that she had overshot the goal but this time she was determined not to.

She held the quaffle tightly and as she neared the large hoop, she drew her arm back and then thrust it forward, releasing the quaffle.

The quaffle glided through the air and sailed through the middle of the hoop followed by the welcoming sound of the bell. It was a beautiful sound that indicated that Slytherin had scored a goal.

"Yaaaaaaay!" Kitty cheered happily.

(Slytherin Beater)

Rocky whooped with joy as Kitty scored, almost losing his grip on his broomstick. Righting himself, he begins zig-zagging through the air again, constantly keeping his eyes moving while trying to pay attention to Kitty and Raisty.

Suddenly spotting a Bludger, Rocky cuts in to intercept, then banks up and to the left to get the Bludger to chase him. Flying in loose spirals, he constantly watches the Bludger to make sure it's still chasing him as he comes up with a plan.

Dropping into a barrel roll, Rocky descends, occasionally glancing at the Ravenclaw players. Pulling out of the barrel roll, he speeds up as he shakes his head to clear away the dizziness. Grinning slightly as he decides exactly what he's going to do, he nudges his broomstick to the right slightly, and speeds up even more.

Almost ignoring everything else going on around him, Rocky heads straight for his target, looking back every now and then to ensure the Bludger is still hot on his tail. Pointing his broomstick directly at the Ravenclaw goals, he aims directly at the Ravenclaw Keeper, ducking down into a Sloth Grip Roll as he's about to collide with Nancy. As he passes underneath her, Rocky yells out, "BLUDGER!"

Righting himself, he doesn't even bother to look back, he simply checks to see how his teammates are doing.

(RAVENCLAW BEATER)

A score for Slytherin and a Bludger racing at Nancy? Eeks! Seeing Herby zoom off to save their lovely Keeper, Elana busied herself with finding the other Bludger. Spying it circling around the base of the Huffie stand, she dove down, hit it up, and raced after it. She flew off towards the Ravenclaw goals, and as she flew by Herby, yelled, "Up for a game of cat and mouse?"

Elana grinned mischeviously. The classic (and fitting) chase should prove great fun- and hopefully prevent Kitty from scoring for a bit. Now, where had said target zoomed off to? She wrinkled her nose, mouse whiskers scratching her cheeks, as she looked around, trying to find her amongst the chaos of zooming players. Keeping the Bludger with her while trying to find a specific streak of green wasn't as easy as it may sound. The Bludgers were made to misbehave, always trying to get away and bang into someone. Sigh. And then she saw her- hopefully they would be able to get to her before Rocky could protect her...

::Herby gasped as she saw what happened. Something strange of going on here. Who knew that Halloween would bring about tricks and cheaters? Herby glared and wondered how the game started without her. Surely there would have been a whistle blown, but unfortunately Herby watched in horror as Kitty scored.::

::Grumbling Herby watched as her fellow teammate Elana looked more infuriated then Herby. Herby did a little group huddle and nodded to Elana, for she knew what to do and what must be done.::

::Gripping her broom tight Herby looked around for a bludger but noticed that Elana was going for it and was surprised to see that Rocky had the other one. Feeling like now was the time to stock him, Herby soared towards his direction in search of getting that bludger.::

::Herby drafted a bit a noticed his "Sloth Grip Roll", as she started to laugh. What a newbie move thought Herby as he sent the bludger straight for her teammate Nancy.::

::There was no way Herby was going to let that bludger hit her. Glaring a bit Herby started to chase after it, faster and faster. Her eyes started to water and it looked like tears were forming in her eyes. Just at the split of the second of impact, Herby cracked her bat and heard the familiar sound of her bat echoing on the bludger. She knew right away that her bat make contact, and noticed that Nancy was unharmed and continued on her way.::

::Herby noticed that the bludger was now soaring in the direction that she wanted. Perfect she thought as she got a hold of it with her bat, taping it ever so lightly. Wiping her eyes, Herby noticed that Elana got the second bludger and nodded towards Herbys direction. This meant the plan was not in full swing.::

(RAVENCLAW BEATER)

Lying flat on her broom, Elana took off towards Kitty, zig-zagging through the air with the Bludger. Herby on her tail, the game of cat and mouse should work out as planned. Both Bludgers would be focused at the Chaser, instead of the usual one, which would make their chances of hitting her...well, it was even more likely. She took a sharp turn, loose hair whipping into her face, to dodge their cackling Kate.

Then they had made it, the Chaser was unguarded in front of them. Elana slowed, hit up the Bludger, and gave it a whack. It zoomed towards Kitty, but Elana had to duck down, and fast, before she could see if it had hit her. If she didn't get out of the way of Herby's Bludger...well, she wanted to stay in the game for as long as she could, and that wouldn't help. She already felt like she was getting a cold, but couldn't care less. Quidditch, at any given moment, was amazing. But on Halloween? PERFECT! What a way to spend Halloween night- even with a cold.

(Ravenclaw Beater)

Herby tailed behind Elana knowing that their plan was starting. Elana in front of her started to chase Kitty. A few times during this cat and mouse play Herby could see Elana smirking with pride. When the chase continued over to the Slytherin side, Elana went in position which signalled to Herby to do the same.

Floating opposite of Elana, Herby noticed that Kitty was in the open which meant fair game. Elana cracked her bludger first and Herby did the same. Watching as the two bludger crept closer and closer to Kitty; a smile of success flooded Herby s face. Nothing in the world could change this moment or feeling Herby had. Flying towards Elana, Herby gave her a high-five and waited to see if their plan worked.

“Who knew that Quidditch Halloween would be so much fun?” Yelled Herby.

(RAVENCLAW BEATER)

Huzzah! It had worked! The Bludgers had hopefully whacked into Kitty, which in any other situation wouldn't be good...but it was Quidditch, and they were Beaters. Couldn't go against their job!

“Who knew that Quidditch Halloween would be so much fun?”

"Well, I do now! Nice work," she said.

She looked around, hoping that the Quaffle would be thrown into play soon so that her Chasers would have an easier time of scoring. Speaking of Chasers...where were they? The looking around became frantic as her eyes darted around the pitch, searching for one of their Chasers. But the only Ravens she saw were Herby, Kate, and Nancy. Elana let out a frightened squeak (rather like one made by mice) as she bit her bottom lip. No need to be worried, she reminded herself. They'll be here...no need for worry, none at all...

(Ravenclaw Beater)

Who knew that Quidditch Halloween would be so much fun?”

No sooner did Herby get the words out of her mouth did one of the bludgers hit Kitty. Shocked sounds could be heard from the audience, as a smirk of satisfaction formed on both Herbys and Elana’s face.

"Well, I do now! Nice work," she said, beaming. Replied Elana

Herby couldn’t help but notice Elana seemed to be searching for someone or looking for something. After a few seconds Herby decided it was time to get her head back in the game. Glancing down Kitty seemed to be a bit unconscious as Madam Pomfrey was taking care of her.

The ghost and goblins seemed to floating around her as if hoping they might have a new ghost to play with, but unfortunately for them Kitty seemed to be well alive but was just a bit incapacitated. Towards the distance one of the bludgers where flying around as Herby took chase and finally caught up to it.

(Herby and Elana *frowns sternly at you both* please read this. I don't think it is fair of you to say that the bludgers hit kitty before she had a chance to react. Granted, there is a 99% chance that they were going to hit her. But it isn't up to you to decide that she is injured, or indeed the extent of her injuries, as deliciously entertaining they might be.)

COMMENTATOR

"Awww and just look at Kitty making eyes at Rocky, her mind's obviously not on Quidditch as she overshoots the goal! Come on Kitty! Focus on the game! Plenty of time to make out later..." Streams chuckled and grinned, glancing hesitantly at McGonagall and she wondered if she had gone too far. But McGonagall was smiling dreamily, so Streams continued happily.

"And now we see Kitty circling around again...no tricks or maneuvers, she seems to be going for the straight shot...and Nancy, don't let her--! KITTY SCORES! Slytherin Score 10 - 0!" Streams kept talking loudly, over the shouts of the Slythie supporters.

"And Rocky, the Slytherin beater seems quite happy that Kitty has scored...WHOA! He nearly fell off his broom! And now he's got his head back in the game, thanks very much, and he's intercepted a bludger...he's exhibiting quite a few fancy moves now! The barrel roll, that bludger's well on his tail now...and oh! He's dropped into the Sloth Grip Roll, as the Bludger heads straight for Nancy, who is looking a little dazed."

Streams paused for a moment to swig from her butterbeer, narrowing her eyes as she observed the game. "WELL! Some silent signal has apparently gone off, as the Ravies are showing some exemplary teamwork! Herby cracks the bludger away from Nancy at the very last second--Nancy's face is rather white, I can see it shining through the dark quite apparently--" Streams nearly choked on a giggle, then continued, "Ooh, Herby is smirking over at Elana...they seem to be shouting...exchanging tactics...Elana's got hold of the other bludger! Now how did I not see that before?

"And Elana's heading towards Kitty..." Streams spoke faster and faster as the game accelerated. "She slams it at Kitty from barely five feet away...that's gonna hurt unless Kitty moves REALLY fast! And now she's ducking--why is she ducking??

"Oh Merlin, Herby's got the other bludger, and she's sending it straight after Elana's! No fancy maneuvers from those two, but really good teamwork...That's gonna be nasty," streams said with apparent relish, pausing to gulp some more butterbeer.

(Slytherin Keeper and Captain)

Raistlin hadn't returned to his position yet. He was still cheering on Kitty's goal.

Then to his horror he noticed the Ravenclaw's beater doing some trange moves. "What are they up to?" their eyes were always on either the bludger or kitty.

"Oh no!" he thought "I cant let that happen, Kitty's more important in this game then me, we need a Chaser!"

Raistlin raced to Kitty "Kitty WATCH OUT!" He was going as fast as he could. Kitty was still unaware of the beaters move and rocky was too far he was almost getting to her when he saw both bludgers begin wacked "I have no choice" he thought.

Right on time Raistlin put himself in front of Kitty and recieved both bludgers on his back he let out a wild scream "AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH" his eyes went white and he started to fall unconscious.

(Slytherin Seeker)

Cat hurried to the field. She was late for a very important date, well actually it was a Quidditch game, but it was still important. She was to play seeker this game and he didn't want to disappoint her team.

When she got to the field she noticed something green falling from the sky. It was Raisty! Quickley she hoped on the broom and flew right beneath his falling body, a bit to the left. When he neared she used all her strength to move his body to her broom as to keep him from falling.

He was unconscious. "Raisty, can you here me? Someone get a medi-witch!"

(Slytherin Keeper and Captain)

Cat layed Raistlin in the grass. Madam Pompfrey came running to him. She started to feel his back "Oh Merlin, 3.. hum no 4 broken ribs..." she turned to McGonagall which had came running too.

"Sorry Minverva, but this boy can no longer play, I need to take him to the ward right way or his lungs will fill wih blood."

Raistlin woke up in time to hear her

"I'm no...ouch...boy...ouch...Cat...ouch go back..ouch... to the game...ouch... you have... ouch... a snitch to catch"

Raistlin was making all he could not to scream. Another strike of pain hit him and he fell unconscious again. Quickly Madam Pompfrey levitated him and took him to the infirmary.

(Slytherin Seeker)

Cat wouldn't let her captain down. She quickly flew up again and kept her eyes peeled for that flicker of gold. She would catch it no matter what.

For what seemed like forever, she waited, eyes searching the field. Eventually, after about ten or so minutes, Cat saw something move quickly by the corner of her eye. The Snitch! She sped toward it, flying around other players as she went.

Soon she was close to it, within reach. She stretched out her arms, her fingers barely there and...she had the snitch! She had ended the game.

(Ravenclaw Beater)

(Apparently now we get to make stuff up after stuff has already happened. And for the recorded your opinion if fully noted. *rolls eyes*)

"Wow, whats this?" To Herbys surprise Kittys body turned into Raistlin. Shock and amazed Herby was left in a confused state.

It was pretty amazing to see Cat flying at full speed from the other end of the pitch; just in time to catch the falling Kitty/Raistlin.

And to see her catch the snitch on her second post? What was happening to this game? Herby didn't know but was happy to finish it, for the amount of cheating was unbelievable.

(Slytherin Chaser)

Kitty was thankful for Raistlin's help and cheered happily as Cat caught the snitch. "YAAAAAAAAAAAY CAT!" She cheered as she rushed over to her. "That was a great catch!"

(Slytherin Beater)

Rocky groaned as he watched both Beaters heading straight at Kitty. He still wasn't quite sure what had happened. He'd had the Bludger mere moments away from striking Nancy, apparantly he hadn't planned well enough, and the next thing he knew the Ravenclaw Beaters had each captured a Bludger and started heading straight for the Slytherin Chaser.

Knowing there was no chance he could stop the play, he rushed over to hopefully find some way of salvaging the disaster happening in front of his eyes. Before he could get even halfway there, however, he watched as Raisty intercepted both Bludgers in the back. Still urging his broom on faster, he saw Cat catch Raisty in mid-air. Letting out a wild whoop, Rocky proceeds on to doing his job.

Swooping in huge zig-zags, Rocky starts looking for a Bludger, payback on the fore of his mind. Noticing almost as an afterthought that Raisty was getting medical attention, Rocky was fully intent on both Herby and Elana, watching both of them to make sure he could intercept any move either one of them made. Seeing Cat kick off into the air, Rocky smirks. The game was getting more interesting.

Seeing Cat speeding off, Rocky crosses his fingers, speeding off after her to make sure she had a clear path to the Snitch. He watched her catch the golden orb, howling with joy as the game had finally ended. Zipping over to Cat, he joyously gave her a big bearhug.
7th House Quidditch: Ravenclaw vs Slytherin: 28th-1st Slytheri

(Herby, it is up to each individual player to react. I'm sorry. I do think the Quidditch rules are not clear enough though...that will have to be fixed sometime soon.)

Streams put down her butterbeer, watching the game avidly as the three seconds before the bludgers would inevitably hit Kitty seemed interminable. "WHOA!" she shouted as with a sudden whoosh of air, a blurred figure raced in front of kitty, and there was a firm thump, followed by a loud groan.

"MERLIN! Are you people following this?? Rai has apparently taken the bludgers for Kitty, both bludgers, at the very last second. I guess he figured since there was no need to guard the goal posts, he might as well entertain me a bit...or maybe he had his chaser in mind. I really don't know. In either case, he seems to have fallen unconscious, and he's dropping off his broom...OY! That's a really good broom! Someone get that broom!"

Streams looked anxiously over at the slythie supporters, who were all standing, trying to catch the broom. Meanwhile..."CAT, they Slythie seeker has arrived! That's cutting it really close, girl! And what's she doing? She's accelerating...she's trying to catch Rai! Foolish girl, you'll break your broom...that's what McGonagall is here for! She wouldn't let him hit the ground! ...And she's actually done it!" Streams shouted in disbelief. "She's flown directly under Rai and he's slammed onto her broomstick...that can't have been too good for his injuries..."

"And now...yes...Madam Pomfrey is hurrying over as Cat and Rai reach the ground." Streams paused for a minute as McGonagall whispered in her ear. "Rai is being taken to the infirmary," she announced with grim relish. "The game is over for the valiant Slythie captain! And as Rai is being carried off the field, lying there looking quite pathetic, though I'm sure he'll have scores of visitors after the game is over, Cat is headed back up into the air!

"Cat seems to have spotted the snitch! Surely she can't have...so soon...but, but SHE HAS GOTTEN HOLD OF THE SNITCH! Slytherin win, 160 - 0!"

Streams popped a mint into her mouth as the Slythering supporters screamed their joy. "And the Ravies are of course devastated...a few of them even look angry...and the Slytherins are exuberant!

And so ends this really short 7th House Quidditch Game. Thank you all for coming!"

Streams tapped her wand to her throat, returning her voice to normal, though she kept her enhanced vision for a bit as it wasn't every day that she was able to see so far and so clearly.

The match is now over. Judges, please send your scores ASAP!
