1st House Quidditch: SLYTHERIN V GRYFFINDOR: 24th-28th

(Gryffie Chaser)

::Swift zoomed onto the pitch, her hair flying behind her as she exited the changing room on her Firebolt. This was a fresh start, a new start, and Gryffindor's Quidditch team were better than ever. It was her first time playing Chaser, but she had been practising - hopefully enough.

Grinning at the large crowd, Swift did a quick lap of the pitch before anyone else arrived.

Come on, team... it's time to rock!::

(SLYTHERIN CO-CAPTAIN AND CHASER)

Nancy walked out onto the quidditch pitch with a huge smile on her face. She was dresed in her bloved Slytherin quidditch robes. She would be playing quidditch again. She really missed the feeling of being up in the air on her broom, the wind blowing through her long blonde hair, the rush and excitememnt of the competitveness of the game.

She quickly mounted her firebolt and kicked off hard from the ground. It was quite chilly out but she didn't care. All the feelings of the cold air seemed to melt away as she became airbourne. She took a good look around the pitch and saw that Whitney had already arrived. She waved to her and quickly flew over to her. "Whitney! Glad you made it! You will do great!"

(Slytherin chaser)

Today was the first Quidditch match of the term, and words could not describe how Jessie felt. She was excited, nervous, hopeful, pretty much just a big glob of emotions. Rushing towards the pitch, she almost passed the broom closet. She quickly grabbed her new sparkly broom and raced onward towards the pitch.

"I'm not late, I'm not late, I'm not late..." Jessie told herself over and over again as she ran onto the pitch, mounted her broom, and pushed off into the air. She had a habbit of showing up late to games... and didn't want to make that same impression for the new term. "Hey, I really am not late." She smiled, seeing Whitney, Nancy, and Swifty warming up.

Smiling, she flew over to her fellow chaser, Nancy, and said "Hey twinny! What a way to start of the term! Slytherin vs. Gryffindor.... we'll kill 'em." She said with a smirk.

(slytherin keeper)

Cat walked to the quidditch pitch to play her first game of quidditch as Slytherin keeper. She mounted onto her broom and flew up towards Nancy.

Cat smiled, "Hey Nancy."

Val fixed her robes up in the mirror and her short, dyed blonde hair. Though this wasn't her first time playing Quidditch, she was nervous all the same. She sighed, and stepped her way out onto the pitch with her Nimbus 2004, it wasn't the greatest broom, but it flew. She got into her position on the field, noticing it was nearly full now.

"Heya guys!! Ready to kick some Gryffie butt?"

She grinned, feeling already more into the game as the wind blew through her hair and she flew around a bit.

(Slytherin Captain and Chaser)

~The new Quidditch term was here and for Slytherin it was to be one of many matches to come. Jesse approached the pitch, dressed in his flowing Quidditch robes and looking like his devilishly-handsome self- even more so than usual. He was filled with determination and looking forward to this term with great anticipation~

~He waved to his team mates and jumped on his sparkling Nimbus 2007 1st luxury edition broom and took to the air~

"Are we all here?" He asked as he flashed them all a proud beaming smile. "Never fear, your captain is here. Sorry I'm late." He said ~

Cat saw Jesse and waved.

"Hey Jesse."

(SLYTHERIN CO-CAPTAIN AND CHASER)

Nancy looked around the pitch and saw Jessie heading up to the sky and flew to meet her. "Twinny!! Wooohoooo quiditch!!" Nancy shouted and then listened as her fellow chaser spoke to her. She nodded at her friends words. "Yes, lets show them Gryffies how hard we have been working." She sneered and then darted off to look for the quaffle and then spotted Cat and Zexion. "Hey guys, let's show them who's boss!" She sneered and then looked for the quaffle.

She then saw Jesse fly onto the pitch and smiled widely. "Hubby! Glad to see you! Let's get em!" She shouted and then set her eyes back onto the field.

She spotted the quaffle that had just been thrown into play. Nancy swooped down on her broom and grabbed the quaffle. She pulled her broom up hard and spun herself around quickly and headed towards the goal posts. She dashed past Jessie and shouted to her, "follow me!" And she tucked her head down, grabbing onto the quaffle tightly and made a mad dash towards the goals.

She carefully avoided a bludger that was knocked towards her and looked over her shoulder to see Jessie behind. "Catch!" She screamed and then passed the quaffle behind her towards her twinny.

(Slytherin Beater)

Whitney smiled seeing the game start and went in search for a bludger. She saw one a little ways away and flew towards it. Swift seemed to have gotten distracted so she decided to make her move hitting the bludger with full force and sending it towards the Gryffindor.

(Gryffie Chaser)

::Swift rolled her eyes. Talk about punctuality. Grinning at the Slytherins, she snatched the Quaffle from the ground where it lay.

"Let's just start the game without them, eh?"

Speeding away from the bunch of Slytherins, Swift laughed out loud, seeing that their goalposts were unguarded. SHe made a quick, easy goal as she flew past them, hoping against hope that her team would be arriving at some time.

Cat flew to her position in front of the goal posts, but she did not make it in time to guard them from Swift.

"Darn it," she muttered.

(Slytherin Chaser)

Jessie saw Nancy’s eyes flash to the quaffle and her snap into action. That’s my twinny for ya. She thought. Hearing Nancy’s ‘follow me’ Jessie gripped the front of her broom tightly and shot off. Trailing shortly behind her, Jessie saw Nancy grab a hold on the precious quaffle.

After missing Nancy, that same bludger headed off towards Jessie. “eek!” She said as she wrapped her legs around the broom tighly and swerved herself under, that way the bludger went straight above her. "Catch!" She heard her twinny shout. “Momentum… Momentum…” Jessie muttered as she hurriedly tried to swing herself back over. “Big word!” She cheered as she finally made it over. “Big quaffle!!” She screamed when she saw the big red ball flying towards her. Smiling, Jessie caught the ball safely in her arms. “At last… we meet again. It’s been far to long.” She spoke to quaffle. Incase you weren’t here last term… she has a problem with that.

“Oh hey, yeah, game.” She said, snapping back. “Hmm… first play of the game… should be fancy…” she whispered to herself. “OH!” She yelled out loud, remembering a play from last term. Jessie smiled as she passed Nancy and focused on the distance between her and the goal posts. She started rocking back and forth and the broom and she neared the hoops… this was going to take momentum… and a lot more than that wimpy spin thing she did earlier. “Aaaaaaaaaaaaand now!” She said to herself as she leaned all the way forward on her broom, causing it to tip over in a cartwheel-ish motion. Gripping the quaffle even tighter, she held it out infront her. Within moments the broom (and Jessie) came back around and she released the quaffle and it went soaring through the middle hoop. She quickly placed her hands firmly around the front of the broom in attempt to keep her balance. “Woohoo!” She hollered, feeling the world stop spinning around her.

(Gryffie Chaser)

This is getting too much for my head... Swift thought, frowning as she went to retrieve the Quaffle once it had been thrown back into play.

She didn't think it possible for her to be able to score, what with so many Slytherins on the pitch. Glancing up, she saw Jesse keeping a watchful eye on her, ready to move when she did. Nancy and Jessie were both facing her, and she was absolutely certain that there were bludgers about to come her way at any second.

Thinkng quickly, Swift dived, flying at breakneck speeds towards the ground at a slight angle, knowing that she needed to travel the length of the pitch in order for this to work. She could feel the Slytherins' eyes on her as she zoomed along the bottom of the pitch; some were even following her. Above, there were hovering blobs of green, ready to catch her out when she pulled up from the dive.

Okay, so T DD has been accomplished, she thought to hserlf, thanking June for creating it. Now what?

Groaning, she realised that she was too near to the end of the pitch to pull up in front of the posts. Darn it...

She pulled up way too late - it took all her strength to even try to stay on the pitch. Wheeling around, she arced back towards the front of the goalposts, hoping that the keeper hadn't noticed her. She grimaced as blood rushed to her head from the steep pull, and made an aim for the right hoop.

Go in, go in, go in...

Cat sped to the right hoop and hit the quaffle away with her broom.

Cat smirked.

(Slytherin Beater)

Whitney looked over and saw Swift. She was a little frusturated at the failed attempt that her last bludger had to dislodge the Gryffindor Chaser so she went in search for a bludger. When one appeared to her she flew too it and hit it again with all her force towards the Gryffindor. The bludger hit her broom.

(SLYTHERIN CO-CAPTAIN AND CHASER)

Nancy cheered as her fellow chaser scored. Jessie was quick on her broom and quite an excellent flier. "WOOOHOO TWINNY!!" She screamed at her friend.

Nancy watched in amazement as Swifty grabbed the quaffle right after it was thrown into play. She sped her broom up to her and flew close to keep a good eye on her. She then watched as Cat, the newly appointed keeper for Slytherin blocked the attempted goal by Swifty. "Nice job Cat!" Nancy cheered and then her eyes lit up as she saw Whitney knock a bludger at the Gryffindor chaser. "My daughters are doing great!" She smiled at both of them quickly and then watched as the quaffle was thrown back into play by Cat's nice move.

She did a nosedive towards the airborn quaffle that was slowly drifting downward. She got underneath it and then pulled up on her broom. She gripped her firebolt tightly between her legs and reached both hands out to snatch the quaffle. She then turned her broom around hard and tucked the quaffle tightly under her left arm. Her eyes scanned the field to where Jesse and Jessie were and then she made her way towards the Gryffindor goal posts.

(Slytherin Chaser)

“Way to go Cat! You’re doing great!” Jessie cheered on her fellow Slytherin, and her half-sister as she blocked the Gryffindor’s attempt at a goal. This game was turning out great so far! And it had only been going on for 2 hours! “We’re on a roll tonight!” She cheered out to all her fellow teammates… or anyone willing to listen, either worked in her mind.

Jessie saw Nancy nosedive after the quaffle, pull up, and catch it safely. Deciding to trail not to far behind her, Jessie gripped the front of her broom and soared off after her twinny. Out of the corner of her eye, Jessie spotted a bludger coming her way. “BLUDGER AT 10 O’CLOCK!!” She shouted. She grabbed hold even tighter and pulled herself and her broom straight upwards to avoid the collision. “Phew.” She said, wiping her forehead. “Nancy… Nancy… where for art thou Nancy…” Jessie said to herself as she searched the pitch for where her fellow chaser got off to while she was avoiding that darn bludger. “Aha.” She said after spotting her racing towards the goal posts.

Swooping down, and towards her twinny, Jessie called out “I got your back!”

(SLYTHERIN CO-CAPTAIN AND CHASER)

Nancy quickly looked behind her and saw that Jessie, her Twinny and step daughter was picking up speed and catching up to her. She then saw that a bludger came flying out of nowhere and almost hit Jessie! Luckily Jessie was able to avoid getting whacked by it, but Nancy lost sight of her quickly afterwards. "No worries, Twinny shall be fine!"She thought to herself.

Nancy then focused her attention back on her target, the goal posts. The faster she flew towards them the more her heart danced with excitement. She loved quidditch more than anything, well maybe not quite everything but she did have a passion for the game. She quickly turned her head to the left and spotted Jesse flying near her, picking up speed. She flashed a quick smile at her devilishly handsome HE Hubby and then focused once more on making a goal for her Slytherin team.

Just as Nancy was very close to the posts she spotted Jessie was on her tail again. "Welcome back!" She shouted to her over her shoulder. "Watch this!" She laughed.

Nancy held the quaffle tightly, it was still tucked tightly under her arm. She gripped her broom tightly with her legs and grasped the front of the broom tightly with her free hand. She pushed downwards with her hand on her broom and started to do a nosedive. Nancy then, while falling in a verticle direction towards the ground let go of the quaffle, tossed it up into the air and then quickly pulled up on her broom with all of her strength. She shot upwards fast and when she was eye level with the quaffle she turned her broom in a 365 degree angle several times. She spun herself around fast and then whacked the quaffle hard with the tail end of her broom pelting it towards Jessie's direction.

(Slytherin Chaser)

Jessie heard Nancy’s “watch this” focused her attention completely on her twinny. By the time Nancy threw the quaffle up into the air she had already recognized the move. That was another fun one…. Once the quaffle was sent off in her direction, Jessie aligned herself up with the ball. “Al-ee-oop.” She said as the quaffle dropped safely into her loving arms. Thinking of the next play, she quickly tucked the quaffle under her left arm and tightly grabbed the broom with the other. Swerving her broom around, she flew at extremely fast speeds towards the other end of the pitch.

After flying pretty far across she thought for a moment then said, “Next stop, Val!” Jessie zoomed over to her fellow Slytherin and began to circle around him. “Hi…Val" She panted as she began to get dizzy. Stopping for a moment she told her to cover Nancy before zooming full speed back at Nancy.

“A little closer…. A little closer….now!” she thought. Just as she thought the word now, she tossed the quaffle above her head, much like Nancy did just moments ago. With all her might, she leaned forward on her broom until it began to swing down. “Here we go…” She whispered. When the broom finally made contact with the quaffle it was sent straight over to Nancy. “Go Nancy Go!” Jessie cheered, after taking a moment to regain her balance.

Val followed Jessie with her eyes and screwed her eyes up, trying to hear what she was saying. It was tough over the cheering and the wind, but she managed.

"Go cover Nancy!" She managed to make out, she nodded and gave a shout, "Righto, Jessie!!" Bat in hand, she soared over to Nancy at the fast pace.

"Heya Nancy, having fun yet?" She winked, taking care to protect her from any in coming bludgers.

(SLYTHERIN CO-CAPTAIN AND CHASER)

Nancy hovered in the spot where she had whacked the quaffle and watched Jessie like a hawk as she made her next step in their play. She spotted Jessie circle Val and knew that the quaffle would soon be coming at her again.

Val flew over towards Nancy and she smiled as she sopke to her. "Oh yes, I am having fun now but just wait until the game really gets started." She spoke and then that trademark smirk appeared on her red lips. She then brought her attention back to the middle of the field and then fixed her eyes on her Twinny.

She watched as Jessie made her brilliant moves and then saw her come sprinting fast toards her. Nancy reached her hands out and grabbed the quaffle with ease as Jessie had aimed it perfectly in her direction.

Nancy then held her broom hard with her right hand and the quaffle with the left. She was close to the right goal post now and she had Val there to protect her from any oncoming bludgers.

She quickly pulled up her broom and soared a few feet up so she was looking the goal post dead on. She reached her left hand out, still holding the quaffle and then gripped her broom tighlty with her legs. She brought her right hand up to meet the left and then tossed the ball with all her might through the goal post.

She watched it as it sailed through with ease and she squeeeee'd when she scored! She then took a quick victory lap around the right side of the stands and smiled at a few of her house members that were there watching the game.

She then focused her attention back towards the middle of the field and waited with her eyes focused for the quaffle to be thrown back into play.

(Slytherin Chaser)

“Woohoo!” Jessie cheered. “We are so winning this game!” So far Slytherin was doing great, and hopefull they would only get better. What a way to start out the term! Lost in her thoughts, Jessie barely noticed the quaffle being thrown into play. Somewhat lucky for her, she was flying near the Slytherin stands, and if it wasn’t for the second year shoving their wand at her back she might not have noticed the quaffle at all!

“Quaffle! Oh Quaffly-Quaffly-Quaffly!” She called as she zoomed after the large red ball. Swooping her arm out, she swiftly caught it. “Now that your mine again… what play should we do?” She whispered to the quaffle. Holding it up to her ear, as if it was talking she said, “uh huh… yeah… ok… alright… got it!” She then tucked the quaffle under her left arm and called out to Nancy, “Poisonous Pairing!”

Grabbing hold of her broom she soared downward towards the ground.

(SLYTHERIN CO-CAPTAIN AND CHASER)

Nancy smiled wickedly when she saw her twinny regain possesion of the quaffle. She watched her closely and flew over near her. She watched her as she appeared to be talking to the quaffle. To others, this may seem a bit strange, but to Nancy she knew it was Jessie becomimg one with the quaffle. When Jessie talked to the quaffle, it was like it was actually listening to her. Everytime this happened, a great plan or play was being cooked up in the sly mind of her fellow Slytherin.

Nancy waited and watched while hovering in the air near her Twinny and when she heard her speak the words poisonous pairing, Nancy's eyes lit up. This was a brand new play that the two of them had just written tonight. A sly smirk played on the corner of her lips as she spoke back to Jessie. "Wickedness is the way to a better game." She told her and then got ready for the play to take effect.

Nancy knew what she had to do. She pushed down hard on her broom and sped towards the ground, her long blonde hair flowing behind her and her robes billowing in the February winds. She flew until she reached the ground and then trotted over ot the stands, handing her broom to her Head of house, potions master and Father in law, none other than Mick, AKA Severus Snape! "Would you mind holding onto this for a while. I will not be needing it until our next play is over." She flashed him a sly smile and nodded to him. She then sprinted over the the middle of the field and waited for Jessie to make her next move.

(Slytherin Chaser)

Soaring lower… lower… lower… lower… and lower… Jessie’s feet finally hit the ground. With her broom in hand, and the quaffle in the other, she ran off towards Nancy. “Hey….twinny….broom…fly…quaffle…hoop…” She panted. Jessie never was very good with running… that’s why she much more preferred flying! Catching her breath, she managed to ask “What’d you do with your broom?” Just then she saw Nancy’s broom is the safe hands of none other than Mick. “Ah, I see.” She said. “Well…. We probably shouldn’t just stand here talking… you carriage awaits.” She said, mounting her broom and waiting for Nancy to join her.

(SLYTHERIN CO-CAPTAIN AND CHASER)

Nancy watched as her twinny came to join her on the ground. "Our fearless leader is holding onto my firebolt for safe keeping. I couldn't trust just anyone with my trusty broom!" She looked up into the sky and saw that the other members of their team were looking down at them. Probably wondering what the heck they were doing on the ground in the middle of the first quidditch game of the term.

Nancy smiled and she giggled at Jessie's carriage comment. "Well then my fine Slytherin maiden, I believe it is time to put this play into action!" She winked at Jessie and climbed onto the front of her broom and waited for the next move that was coming up. This would be a fun play to try, as it was fun thinking it up.

(Slytherin Chaser)

Jessie laughed and kicked off from the ground, zooming into the air, and ignoring the strange looks people were giving them. “I believe I can flyyyyyy, I believe I can touch the skyyyyyyyy.” She sang. Jessie began to swerve the broom from side to side to the song.

“Ahem,” Jessie faked coughed in true Delores Umbridge fashion. “I believe this is your stop. She said, handing Nancy the quaffle as they neared the hoops.

(SLYTHERIN CO-CAPTAIN AND CHASER)

Nancy felt herself be flown into the air on Jessie's broom. This was a strange feeling indeed. Nancy was always used to being the one in control of the broom but Twinny was a great flier and Nancy trusted her completely.

Nancy laughed as Jessie started to sing and she began singing the song with her. "I believe I can fly, I believe I can touch the sky. I think about it every night and day, spread my wings and fly away. I believe I can sore, I see me runnin through that open door, I believe I can fly I believe I can fly I believe I can fly" She turned her head around to look at Jessie and laughed. "Yes, I believe we have lost our minds, but it's all good."

Nancy then turned her head back around and watched as the goal posts got closer and closer and she knew her move was coming up.

"Why yes twinny, this is my stop indeed! Just make sure your reflexes are quick and you meet me on the other side." Nancy spoke in an excited tone. She took the quaffle from Jessie and carefully started to stand up on the broom which Jessie was holding stationary. She held her breath, the quaffle gripped tightly in her hands. She moved the quaffle to her right hand and spread her arms straight out on both sides. She leaned her body forward and then jumped into the air towards the hoop. She sailed through it with ease and then turned herself in mid air by arching her back forward doing a complete flip in mid air. She then waited for Jessie to get her as she quickly began falling downward. "Anytime now!" Nancy shouted, a bit of an impatient tone to her voice.

(Slytherin Chaser)

It’s a bird… It’s a plane… no! It’s Nancy! Jessie had to control her laughter so she wouldn’t fall off the broom. “Woohoo! I hope that legal…” Jessie thought out loud. “Hey look a bird… what are you doing out in such cold weather? Shouldn’t you be down south for the winter of something like that?” She asked the bird. "Anytime now!" Jessie heard Nancy shout. “Oh Yeah! Don’t worry Twinny! I’m coming!” She called.

Jessie tightly gripped the front of her broom and zoomed off towards Nancy. Swerving around the goal post, she safely got Nancy in her arms. “Hi Twinny!” She said. Carefully her and her twinny flew safely back down to the ground. “Woohoo Slytherin!” Jessie said, high-fiving Nancy.

(SLYTHERIN CO-CAPTAIN AND CHASER)

Nancy was relieved that Jessie caught her before she hit the gound. "Great team work!" Nancy told Jessie as they made their descent back to the ground. It had been a great and fun play but Nancy was looking forward to being back on her own trusty firebolt.

Once they hit the ground Nancy high fived Jessie back and then sprinted over to the stands. She got her firebolt back from Mick and thanked him for keeping an eye on it.

Once she had her trusty broom back in her hands she mounted it quickly and yelled over to Jessie, "To the skies!" And she kicked off hard from the ground and sped up into the air. She positioned herself in the middle of the pitch and watched and waited for the quaffle to be thrown into play.

Gryffindor Beater and Captain XD

Aliza flew on to the pitch, she wasnt that late but it seemed like a lot had happened while she was away. She clambered on to her broom and pushed off the ground. She looked around the pitch and only saw lisa, waving to her she looked around. Seeing nancy she swung her beaters bat and whacked the incoming bludger towards her. She flew to the left toward the other bludger and hit that toward her too...She heard a crack that meant that at least one of the bludgers had met its mark, grinning to herself she began scouring the pitch looking for the other bludgers.

I really hope we win this game she thought to herself. Eager for her other team members to show up she saw a bludger, this one had obviously missed Nancy and decided to whack this one toward jessie...

(Gryffindor Chaser)

June flew onto the pitch, hoping that she wasn't too late. She saw the quaffle being thrown into play and grabbed it before any of the Slytherin chasers could get to it. yes!she thought as she sped away with the quaffle. She saw the other opposing chasers closing in on her so June decided to execute a play, the Loop. June flew in a loop encircling the Slytherin chasers at a very high speed, until they were all dizzy. Laughing, June flew to the goalposts. She feinted to the right, and scored in the left hoop. "Yes!!!!!", she shouted as she highfived Aleeza.

(Gryffindor beater)

::Amber ran in extremely out of breath. She quickly flew into the air looking around to see what was happening. She grinned as she saw her team score.::

"Sorry I'm late!" ::she called to Aliza.::

(SLYTHERIN CO-CAPTAIN AND CHASER)

Nancy spotted Aliza coming onto the pitch and she waved to her. "Hiya Pretty Princess!" She called. Aliza was Nancy's step daughter and a great friend. Then without a moments notice Nancy saw Aliza wind up her bat and not only did she knock a bludger towards her, but she knocked two of them! She spotted Amby enter the game but didn't have time to wave to her.

Nancy did a quick nosedive and was able to avoid the first bludger that was sent her way, but the second one made contact with the tail end of her broom.

Nancy gripped her broom tightly as it began to spin out of control. As she was spinning she saw a new Gryffindor player fly onto the pitch and waste no time retrieving the quaffle. "She's gotta be a chaser." Nancy said outloud while she was still spinning around in circles on her broom. She saw the Gryffindor score and she cursed under her breath. But seeing this was enough for Nancy to regain her composure. She leaned forward on her broom and gripped the front end tightly and steered in the opposite direction in which she was spinning. Finally after several moments she was able to regain control of her broom.

She then darted off to the middle of the pitch and watched where the quaffle was thrown into play and leaned her body forward and sped up to get it. She caught it with ease, tucked it tightly under her arm and scanned the pitch with her eyes to find anyone on her team she could toss the quaffle too.

Gryffindor Beater

Aliza waved at amber and june as they came on to the pitch, when june scored she did a loop the loop, she was showing off but she didnt care, it was her first match of the season and she was estatic...she'd forgotten how much she missed quidditch.

Then she saw that nancy had retrieved the quaffle, she looked around for another bludger. While Nancy was distracted by the quaffle Aliza took another chance and pulled her bat back, ready to whack the bludger at her. Then she had an idea, she signalled to amber who flew down and both of them hit a bludger at nancy, both bludgers met their mark and dropped the quaffle. Grinning at amber aliza flew after another bludger.

Whitney looked at all the new Gryffindores that had joined and sighed somewhat. She looked at Nancy and sighed, She wasnt doing her job very well. She zoomed after the bludgers that just hit her and hit one at Amby and one at Prinny. The one sent towards Amby hit its target but the one for Prinny fell short. The bludger hit Ambys broom sending her spiriling out of control. Whitney smiled slightly and got back into the game.

Gryffindor Beater

Aliza flew after the bludger that WILL SMITH (lmao) hit after her....she saw that amber had been hit and frowned...that wasnt good. As she approached the bludger she looked up at whitney, her back was to her. Aliza hit the bludger at her back and as the bludger connected she lurched forward...she didnt want to hurt her but when it came to quidditch...all morals went out of the window. Hoping she hadnt hurt whitney too badly she turned to amber
"you alright?" she asked.

(Gryffindor Beater)

::Amber nodded. As she regained control of her broom.::

"Fine."

(Slytherin Captain and Chaser)

~From his perch above, Jesse had watched Jessie and Nancy score many times and had seen some great blocks by none other than Cat. It was clear, Slytherin had a full team and were really doing well. However, as more gryffindors began arriving, he realized that he'd done enough watching and it was time to get into the game~

~He tilted his broom down and whooshed over where Nancy and Jessie were.~ "Good job, ladies. Impressive as always." He said high-fiving them and then tilted his neck to the side letting it pop as he got himself flexed and ready for some game play.~

~Seeing that now Nancy was in the air and had the quaffle in her possesion, Jesse flew at a good distance just diagnally to the left of her. He looked across the way seeing that Jessie was on her right side just a bit behind her and smiled. He knew a good play for this formation. Luckily with the new moves he and his team had planned, they'd pay off in the rousing game.~

~The blustery wind whipped across his face as he continued flying along ready incase Nancy wanted to pass the quaffle to him. He gave Jessie a quick glance and knowing nod making sure she was ready for the next move and then glanced ahead and took a quick glance at the gryffindor players. They didn't seem to have a full team just yet, and that was a good thing.~

~His blue eyes shifted back to his team mate that had the quaffle and he kept a close watch in case for any reason that the play in motion was going to change~~

~Sure enough things took a change-for the worse!
Aliza had hit a bludger at Nancy and now the quaffle was loose!! Jesse flew down as fast as he could and caught it. Then he whooshed across the field knowing that he was Gryffindor's prime target now~

::Amber rushed toward a bludger heading a different way and intercepted it. Hitting it at Jesse, hoping it would work. She watched it sail toward him and smiled.::

(Slytherin Captain and Chaser)

"WHOA!"

~Jesse gasped as a bludger came soaring right towards him. He grabbed the neck of his broom tightly with one hand and did a backwards flip-diagnal roll0 in the air just barely escaping the oncoming bludger's wrath.
He swallowed hard as that had been a close call. TOO close. He felt as if his heart were lodged in his throat for the moment as he was a bit shaky now- though luckily his grip on the quaffle hadn't loosened and as he straightened himself back up he made an attempt to start flying across the field once more heading right towards Gryffindor's goal~

::Amber groaned, so close. If only she had been a second sooner. Oh well no use crying over spilled milk, she just hopped the Gryffindor Chasers would steal the quaffle.::

(Slytherin Beater)

Whitney groaned as a bludger collided with her back. "Ow, Oww, OWWWW!" She spun her broom around to see who had sent the bludger and saw that it was Prinny. She glared and looked for a bludger, She found one and groaning she hit it with all her might at Amby. Better to hit the sparrow than the hawk.

(Slytherin Captain and Chaser)

~Jesse was finally back on course and approaching Gryffindor's goal. He only had to avoid the Gryffindor chasers which he could do with not much of a problem at this point. Swerving to the left to keep things on the edge for the Gryffies, Jesse made a complete 180 degree turn and started flying back towards Slytherin's goal just a bit. He chuckled at the confused expressions on the gryffies faces, particularly swifters as she was already disgruntled earlier in the game thanks to Nancy and Jessie's quick tactics and manuovers.~

~Jesse then pulled up on his broom, made a dead stop, spun around and shot off in a quick burst of speed right back towards Gryffindors goal~

::Amber pulled her bat back, and whacked it hard hitting the bludger square on sending it hurling toward Jesse once more.::

"I guess this is what I get for being late." ::she muttered.::

(Slytherin Beater)

Whitney grinned watching the team captin make an excellent play. She took this time while the other teams thoughts were jambled to finaly send bludger towards the 'Hawk'. "Watch out Prinny" she whispered to herself and watched the bludger hit the gryffindor in the arm.

(Gryffie Chaser)

Swift grinned from her position above the game, thankful that her teammates had at last arrived. There was, unfortuantely, no time to think as Jesse was now heading towards Gryffindor's goals, even though he had been impedimented by Amby's bludger.

Laughing loudly as she moved, Swift went straight into a dive, looking as though she was on a collision with Jesse.

"Oh no you don't, you arrogant Slytherin!!" she shouted to him, still speeding towards him like a catapulted blur.

She wasn't going to do this wrong - one false move and she'd be in serious pain. Smiling cunningly, she swerved her broom slightly, still looking as though she about to hit HE's Death Eater straight on.

Her arm reached out for the Quaffle, loosely held in Jesse's hand. It slid easily into the crook of her arm, and as she passed him by barely an inch, whispered a small, and probably inaudible, "Thanks!"

She pulled swiftly (no pun intended... XD) out of the dive, and saw June watching her with a grin.

"Never tried THAT before, but it worked!!" she shouted to her, and threw the Quaffle towards her fellow chaser.
