The Winter Ball

"Well all of my family that went to hogwarts where all sorted into slytherin so I am not suprised to be here."

"I must admit, it is a great group to be in. We are all pretty tight nit and most will stick up for eachother no matter what it takes. And green is my favorite color and ...well, there is one reason I think I got sorted there, but it is something I don't tell anyone, not even my Parents." Sky smiled. She really didn't realize how much she loved Slytherin until she started talking about it.

*Scarlet laughed*
"I see, you were ment to be in slytherin."

"I guess, maybe you are right." Sky was glad to be talking to another member of her house. "So, why didn't you ask my secret? Most try to get it out of me, but I don't tell. I would consider it, if I knew I could trust the person that I told. It's something I would rather not get out."

Seems to phase back in from day dreaming

He shakes his head, some what confused

"Oh..right..we're still here."

Looks at Sky

"..Hi.."

"Eh..you know what? I'm leaving."

Walks out of the Ball

"Huh" she said a bit confused as zexion walked out and Sky was talking

"Bye," Dani waved wondering what had his wand in a knot. turning to Scarlet she said. "I still hate you,"

Sky looked a little confused. "Was it something I said?"

*Scarlet turned to Dani.*
"And I care because.."

"I don't know, just thought like reminding you." She said giving one of her small evil smiles.

"So Sky, how are you?"

"Great" Sky told Dani. "I see there is no love lost between you and Scarlet. But really, she is pretty nice when you get to know her."

"Trust me we can never get to know or like eachother," Her hand unwillingly went to her throat.

"I see. Well, anyway, how is it going with you? Nothing new and exciting here. Just trying to find someone to dance with."

"Same here," She looked around the hall for her boyfriend. "I was dancing earlier with Vale, but he went to his common room for something."

"Ohh, I met Vale. He is too cute. When did the two of you start dating?" Sky asked Dani.

"About a week ago," She blushed. "Yeah he's really hot."

"I never seem to meet any single guys as there are mostly girls at Hogwart's this year. I wonder why that is?" Sky had noticed hardly and boys at the ball.

She chuckled. "Maybe the prspect of to many girls scare them. The only trick is to think like a male." She tapped her head.

*Scarlet sat there playing with her hair.*
"I have no trouble finding boys it's just finding that right one really, most of the boys here are losers."

"No, I disagree their not losers, their meerly to immature to seize the oppertunity of a level of smartness."

"Huh?" she asked

"Honestly, you really couldn't figure that out?" She almost snapped.

"Oh shut up." she said getting up and walking out of the hall

"Wow, that went over well." Sky said to Dani.

"Better than I thought it would," She smiled and sipped her firewhisky. "Although, it's not the greatest thing to have her on your bad side..."

"I haven't known her long enough to get on her bad side. She seems OK to me. So, what happened between you two anyway?" Sky asked Dani.

Dani almost laughed. "Long story short, we've been on opposing sides for as long as I can rememeber. My parents were in the order and her's the deatheaters." She frowned and put her hand to her throat," Then there's the time she tried to kill me, and I've never gotten over the fact that's she's a vampire."

Sky stood there in shock. "I never knew she tried to kill you! No wonder the two of you don't get along. She has always been nice to me. I guess she has no reason not to be." Sky said to Dani.

Dani nodded, "You are in Slytherin," She pointed out.

"That could be and I never try to make enemies, especially in this time when you don't know who you can trust."

*Scarlet walked back into the hall see went off the feed of someone. Normally if dani had said that she would have not left but she was hungry and then she walked back over to Dani and Sky.*
"Hey" she said to Sky and just threw Dani a dirty look

Dani grinned she liked pissing off Scarlet. "Welcome back," She said with bitter distaste.

"Hmm whatever." she said smirking showing off her blood stained teeth

"Oh, no. What did you do?" Sky asked Scarlet. "Not here, not a student?"

"Noo I would ever kill a Student, thats just plan stupid what do you take me for hey? I go out of the school grounds away from here." she said cleaning her teeth with her finger as she pulled out a mirror

"Thankk God! You need to be careful. You don't want too many people to know about your condition." Sky handed Scarlet a cloth to help her clean her teeth.

Dani stared at Her teeth, "So who was it this time?"

"I don't know I don't Normally start up a conversation with the person I about to kill." she spat

"You do know that every time you kill," Dani began. "That your taking away someone's life, their future. You may be killing the only child that a poor widower has, have you ever thought of that?" She spat.

"Yes I have thank you But it's either thier life or mine and sorry I pick mine everytime! What would you pick hey?! I know you would probs pick their lifes but i am a vampire sometimes I trend to lack feelings." she shouted at dani
Scarlet could not beileve what she was hearing this girl was talking to her like she knew how it felt to be a vampire to have what she liked to call an illness but where did dani get off telling her about killing people.

"You know what?! I'd rather die than kill someone who hasn't done anything!" She stood and grabbed her goblet of firewhisky, and tossed the conntents on Scarlet. "I'm sick of your attitude."

*Scarlet stood there the angry in her body filling up inside her and without thinking she punch Dani in the face and then walked out the room scearming and shouting.*

Dani stumbled back and felt her jaw, "Levicorpus!" She yelled at the retreating figure.

Sky dived down under a table careful not to get hit by a jinx coming from Dani or Scarlet's wands. "Protego" She whispered and put the protection charm over herself.

*Scarlet moved to quick for Dani's spell to hit her in times like this her vampire speed was very handy. Scarlet walked up to the Slytherin common room she had bigger things to deal with than a fight with a silly little girl.*

Sky crawled out from underneath the table and brushed off her green dressrobes. "Wow, that was a little crazy, wasn't it?"

"She's being a biotch, and she's flaunting it," Dani said pushing some of her green hair out of her eye. "Damnit I hate Vampires,"

Zexi was just sitting outside the hall, reading, and saw Scarlet storm out twice, the first time, he ignored it. But the second time, he decided to go back in the hall to confront Dani and Sky why she stalked off.

He opens the door slowly, and takes a step in. He looks at the DJ booth the see if they were still there. They were. He began heading towards them, slightly hunched over, hands in his pocket.

Walks up, looks between the two then says,

"Er..Scarlet just sorta..yeah.."

Dani nodded a firy glare in her eyes, "Yes, she's being a terd." She rubbed her jaw where Scarlet had punched her.

" 'Terd'? "

Frowns, not used to todays..common way of speaking

"What'd she do?"
