The Winter Ball

"She punched me," She leaned back in her chair. "I had it coming of course but still..."

"Punched? She..stormed out because she punched you...Weird.."

He shrugs

"Sheesh I'm tired."

"There's more to it, but" She said with a wink. "That is another story."

"Tired, what, it's only 2."

"Ah.."

He yawns and blinks tiredly

"Didn't get any sleep last night..again.."

By the size that he is, it also doesn't look like he's been eating right. He's not disgustingly skinny..Just a little to thin for comfort.

Scans around the Dance room

"Haven't seen Vale around lately.."

"I know, I'm starting to worry about him," Gazes around the room also.

"He's still attending classes and spending time in the common room, he hasn't died. Don't worry...Though, he does have the stomach flu, it's been going on a little to long to...So, I guess that's why he hasn't been coming here."

Blinks a few more times, trying to stay awake

She sighed, "Tell him I'm worried about him..."

Seeing his problem of trying to stay away, Dani grabbed a glass and filled it with firewhisky. "Here drink this,"

"He'll be fine."

Takes a glance at the stuff, then shakes his head, slowly.

"Never drinking that stuff again."

Takes it, and dumps it out

Dani nodded, "Suit yourself," And filling her own glass she drained it.

He shudders, and shivers, sticking his hands in his pockets more

"Just don't get..intoxicated with it."

"You forget that I'm immune," She said yawing.

Shakes off the sleepiness for a moment, it will return shortly of course.

"Immune?..Yawns..Wh-yawn-why're you immune..?"

"It comes from three years of drinking the stuff," Dani frowned. "It's more like pumpkin juice now."

"Ah.."

"Well, enjoy your..pumpkin juice..thing..drink."

Lazily points over at the table and walks over, slamming his face down and snoozing.

"yes thanks I will," Dani said sipping from her goblet, she watched him fall asleep and sighed to herself *this party's dead* then giving an evil grin she grabbed a marker from her bag and walked over to him she wrote in big black ink I'M TAP DANCING WAKE ME LATER! across his forhead.

Being a light sleeper, he wakes up a few moments after she finished writting on his forehead.

"...What..did you do?"

He asks annoyedly, seeming perfectly awake after 5 minutes.

"Nothing, you've got something right here by the way." She pointed to her forhead and walked back to Sky.

Rubs his forehead, smudging it.

He frowns, looking down at his hands

"Sheesh.."

Wanders over to the bathroom to wash it off, returning with a faded, smudged mark on his head.

He glares at Dani

" 'Tap Dancing..' "

Dani stiffled a laugh, "Yep, tap dancing. All I could think of on short notice."

"Mmhmm.."

With no sarcasm in his voice he then says, "Remind me never to fall asleep around you."

"Sorry I was terribly bored, I think this party lost it's life."

"Indeed..Oh well, I think it's better..quiet..no dancing..ahh..perfect."

He crosses his arms in a Zexion-Fashion

"I know its boring, but you, being Zexion would find this all nice."

He smirks

"Right you are."

Dani smirks back.

"But right isn't always a good thing."

"Ehh..I see no reason why it's not."

Yawns

"So, why isn't it?"

"Because then you have so much to live up to!" Sky said from behind them.

Turns his head, glancing back at Sky

"Not..really."

He glances over at the buffet

"I think I'm going to eat soon..It's been awhile.."

"Ok, sounds good and the food looks great!" Sky grabbed a plate and loaded it with chicken wings and french fries.

Dani looked at the food disgustedly, turning away from it she headed back to their table deciding that she needed to go on a diet.

Sky carried her plate over to Dani's table and sat down. "Why aren't you eating Dani? It is really good!"

*Scarlet walked back into the Great hall and walked back over to the over to Sky and Zexion and sadly Dani. She didn't fell bad about punching Dani but she knew that Dani was going to try and to something back but honstly she didn't mind she knew that she she devised it.*

"Hey Scarlet, come sit here beside me."

*Scarlet walked over and sat nexts to Sky.*
"Hi" she said trying smiling after what she had just found out it was so hard for her to smile

Dani glared at Scarlet and before she could sit down she pulled out her chair with magic, and smiled when Scarlet fell right on the floor.

"Have a nice trip?" She said sarcasticly.

"Now really Dani, was that nescisary? She is my friend after all. You two should really just get along, it would be a lot easier for me." Sky got off her chair and leaned over to help Scarlet up off the floor.

Dani sighed, she didn't want to lose Skys friendship.

"Alright. So how is everyone doing on O.W.L. and N.E.W.T.?" Sky asked the the friends at the table.

"I'm afraid the O.W.L.S are gonna kill me," Dani said, being only a fifth year she was facing those difficult tests this year.

"Yes O.W.L.'s were a nightmare. I must have been up for a week straight in my 5th year studying. I have N.E.W.T. at the end of the year. That is the only bad part about being a 7th year." Sky said to Dani.

"Well good luck on them, good thing is their like just before school gets out."

"Exactly. Ater they are done I graduate! I think I might be a professor when I leave here. I was talking about it with Fred Weasley today. I didn't know wether to go the quidditch route or Teaching, but being a professor would be great. I was thinking either transfiguration or herbology. I do get top grade in those classes." Sky said to Dani

"I'm not sure what I'm doing been talking about professial qudditch myself with Sprout, she said I was one of the best Keepers she'd seen in a long while....But then I think about what to do after it, when the fame and glory's nothing more than memories, the rest of my life." Dani said.

"My Dad is in the department of magical games and sports. He used to be a champoin chaser for the cannons but he works for the ministry now. You can do something like that!"

"I know this will sound as a shock, but I disagree with the ministry entirly. Maybe I'll do some Mungo's work. or work with Animagi or something,"

"How about being the new Care of Magical Creatures professor. I know Hagrid id considering retiring when he marries Maxime." Sky thought this would be a great idea.

"But EVERYONE hates CoMC," Dani said but taking to the idea anyway.

"Ok, most do, nevermind that one. I just hope I still get to see you once you graduate here." Sky said to her friend.

Dani nodded, "I bet I'll be seeing alot of you if your gonna be a professor," She laughed. "I may go into dragon keeping." she thought suddenly

"Yes, dragon keeping! You can talk to Fred and George about that where their brother works with dragons in Romania. I love the sweedish shortsnout!" Sky told her.
