Aberforth Dumbledore

What does everyone think about Dumbledore's brother?

We know that he was a member of the Order in the first war (from Moody's photograph), and there's more than enough evidence to show him as being the barkeeper at The Hog's Head.

But is there more to him? What role will he play in the seventh book?

Well I think he will play some sort of part, though one thing that Ive often wondered at - was he actually at Dumbeldores funeral?

He's very mysterious and many (including me) beleive him to be the bartender at the Hog's Head. I think he's a spy fo rthe order and will help harry out in some way shape or form

A character we know little about but are all dying to get to know better.

I believe he will play a major role in the last book. He was Dumbledore's brother, so he would have to know a lot of things about him and be able to reveal things no one has a clue on.

Perhaps he holds the seret to the Snape/Dumbledore incident, because you know there is more to that story than what we have read so far.

DO we know he is the barman or is that a popular theory?

wat does EBF mean? I really don't remember anyone ever telling us.

I do not understand either and though I do not understand many of the words in the quote (my English is not so good lol)

Is aberforth as like albus in any way such as with power?

There is some speculation that Aberforth may have a more prominent role in book 7 because of his appearance when there is no film time planned for Mundungus Fletcher who had the key part in disguise in the Hog's Head Pub DA meeting. Are they planning to have Aberforth be the mole who tipped the Order off about the secret Defense Club or do they want him to be seen for another as yet unknown plot reason?

I really dont think he will be a mole like that though, although I do think his shady character will come into play somehow

Well it wouldn't really be bad if he tipped the order off its just to protect the kids (hem hem Harry!) but maybe he will, idk y they would cut him, all he had to do is sit there and then be talked about, ne1 could do it.

I do to Chris I think we will find out a lot more about his character and about his past. If I am right I think he is not as cleaver as Dumbledore which could be the reason why he could be the bar man of the hogs head. But then wouldn't Harry have reconised him? I think we will find out a lot more about his character in the next book.

Whoa! So much backstory. I think that he is really gruff on the outside because he doesn't want to show he cares because he's been hurt so many times. I think that he really does love Albus and Hogwarts and i was glad that he got to prove his worth in this book.

I like Aberforth overall but he was a bit depressing when he said, "It's over. Voldermort's won." I"m glad he was proved wrong though if any more time passed what he said probably would have been true. I think he's a good person though.
