Round Three: Team Three vs Team Four

TEAM THREE

Raistlin looked to the dense threatening look forest and then at the cloudy sky.

~I couldn’t have asked for a better weather and place. This will be perfect for ambushes and I shall have no problem mixing with the envrionment~ he thought and pointing to his robes murmered “WALDMUSTER (Forest Pattern in German)” Now his robes would adapt to the forest surroundings helping him to be more undetected.

~The proximity of the trees will also help prevent long distance attack~ Raistlin smirked.

~Now before I step into this devil’s mouth I need to take some precautions I don’t want to get ambushed myself.~ “AVERTISSEMENT DE L'AURA (Aura Warning in French)” he shouted pointing his wand to his forehead where we are led to believe is where our third eye is placed with this spell if anyone if bad intentions towards him got near he’d start glowing so bright his enemy’d be momentarily blind.

~This rain is annoying me~ “BRISA CALUROSA (Warm Breeze in Spanish)” he spelled pointing his wand above his head downside to him. He had now a warm air breeze surrounding him keeping him warm and dry.

Then he thought ~This will not protect me against any attacks though~ “Дзеркало Віддзеркалюючий Щит (Mirror Reflecting Shield in Ukrainian)” if any attacked passed undetected through his aura it would be sucked and sent back to its caster.

“That shall work for now let’s catch some rabbits!” So he entred the forest searching for his opponents.

Elly approached the forest, it had started to rain and was getting dark already. before she got anywhere near she decided to scan for anythign dangerous

"aftasten voor gevaar" (scan for danger) she muttered, she waved her wand out slowly infront of her. A clear image came itno her head. A boy casting a spell and suddenly he was gone , elly did not recognise the face but she new he wasnt on her team, she looked harder into the image in her head and saw he was still there. She smirked, his attempt at camouflage was pitiful.

the rain suddenly stopped and a warm breeze filled the air. but the darkness still grew.

~before I do anything~ she thought ~better start protecting myself~

"copertura della bolla"(bubble cover) Elly muttered, this spell meant a strong invisible bubble formed over her. It was almost unbreakable. Only the strongest of curses could burst it. the three worse curses of all. She felt safe inside her invisible bubble.

~right, now time for business~ Elly smirked, she walked into the forest and searched for the boy, but she saw ntohing. His camoflage was better then she expected. Or at least it was until it formed a shadow on the tree.

"Se vaya la protección!"(protection be gone) Elly said pointing her wand straight at the boy, his camouflage dissapeared and Elly saw rai standing there, shocked at how easily his spell had lifted. Elly felt very safe in her bubble.

TEAM THREE


Raistlin felt his camouflage being lifted and cursed himself ~Stupid! I forgot about indirect spells! My protection works only for direct attack spells! Guess my enemies are not so blunt this time~

Rasitlin observed his opponent ~Elly~ he realised. She had not yet entered the forest. Taking advantage of this he run deeper into the forest where it was more dark.

Here the trees were even thicker with big protuberant roots. Aiming his wand at them he shouted “ANIMANDO (Animating in Italian)!” anyone how pass there will be caught by the roots that will strangle the fool.

Moving a little forward he pointed his wand to a space between two trees and casted “קיר של כוס (Glass Wall in Hebrew)!” if the person got rid of the roots they’d come running straight to the wall crashing with it which would break and cut the person all over.

That done Raistlin climbed to a tree and waited for the first incautious.

Elly saw rai running and running. he was quick but she was not a bad runner herself. She was on his tail when she accidently stumbled. She lost sight of rai but saw something glint in the fading light. She followed it.

As she passed over the roots they started to move. trying to curl round her, crushing the air out her body, but all that happend was they curled round the bubble. Elly smiled and continued running. the roots retreated and elly smiled.

~nice try rai~

but then she hit soemthing invisible. The bubble bounced high into the air and as in slow motion Elly fell back to the ground. She new the bubble would protect her to a certain point but it still terrified her to be freefalling and she knew she'd come down quite hard.

"Blattabdeckung!"(leavescover in german) She yelled, leaves started forming into large piles an elly crashed into the biggest. It broke her fall but was still uncomfortable.

"ouch." Elly heard a chuckle from the tree and elly glared.

"rottend hout"(rotting wood in dutch) The wood turned from dark damp healthy brown to a horrible mix of black and green. the branch rai was sitting on creaked. His laugh stopped and fear struck his face. the tree collapsed and took rai with it.

TEAM THREE

Raistlin saw Elly approaching the roots and smiled but his smiled fade when she passed through them ~That stupid bubble! I have to break it!~

Then he saw her hitting the glass wall being sent backwardsl and laughed. Though when she got up she cast a spell which caused the tree where he was standing to rotten.

Thinking quickly Raistlin assumed a diving position pointed his wand to the ground and shouted "WATER SIMULATIE (Water Simulation in Dutch)!" this spell cause the dirt to be like water to him so he'd be able to swim through it. Therefore when he hit the ground instead of crashing he pass right through.

Below the ground he mentally casted the spell ~Wdzięk delfina (Dolphin Grace in Polish)~ he was now able to move like a dolphin.

He then make a jump leaving the ground while in the air he shouted to a rather surprised Elly "CRUCIO!" the curse hit her hard destroying the bloody bubble and sending her to the roots which could now touch her and didn't lost time in starting to strangle her.

Before he dived to the ground again he pointed the ground and said "FINITE INCANTATUM" landing safely Raistlin left Elly and went searching for another opponent.

(TEAM THREE)

Nancy walked into the dense forest. She smiled to herself. "What a perfect place for a duel." She said outloud. There was a warm breeze blowing, she could feel it surrounding her. Deeper and deeper she walked into the woods searching for one of her teammates. She was quite excited about who she saw was on her team.

Nancy pointed her wand at herself and muttered, "Exoskellatania" (exoskeleten protection) A white jet of light shot out of her holly wood wand and wrapped itself around her forming an invisible armor. "Perfect." She whispered to herself.

She then pointed her wand straight forward into the dark forest. She wanted to be ready if someone was up ahead. She stood very still, her breath shallow and her hand wrapped tightly around her wand.

She looked to her left and saw a pile of weeping willow tree branches with their greenery still attatched. She smiled in her trademark Slytherin grin and walked to the pile of branches. She knelt down on the mossy green floor of the forest and moved the branches so they would form a shelter around her. "Enviormentia blenderea" (enviorment blender) she whispered and her new shelter now blended in with the rest of her surroundings. She would be hidden quite well now, and should be able to jump out of her shelter to startle any opponent who might cross into her path.

Nancy sat there in her weeping willow tree shelter and decided one more spell may help her. She thought deeply, her mind trying to think up just the right spell she would need. Then she had it. A twinkle in her eyes formed as she pointed her wand forward and moved it around in large circles, around her and around her immediate surroundings, while chanting, "amplifigia sounderas" (amplify sounds) several times while still circling her wand around her. She would now be able to hear something, someone coming before they knew she was there, enabling her to plan for her attack.

She brought her wand back down and brought it back to her srtaight forward, pointed position. She sat quietly, as still as she could and listened as hard for any sounds that would clue her in to someone approaching. Her heart raced with the excitement of being able to surprise her opponent.

::Lifey entered and began muttering incantations under her breath that would allow her to sense the presense of enemies.::

::The sensors seemed to be leading her to a tree she crouched down and crawled over.....someone was there, but invisible!::

::Casing an illusment charm on herself, she looked over her body, satisfided that it had taken the pattern and texture of the grass she was crouched on.::

"Reveilio!" ::She hissed with a wave of her wand, and a figure was revealed under the tree.::

"Nancy!" ::Lifey smiled happily, then remembered that they were on opposing teams.::

:With a cough she said.:: "er...i mean...Impedio ignis!" (hinder with fire-latin):: and fire shot out of her wand and created a barriar between her and the slytherin. This was no ordinary fire though, this fire surrounded nancy and crept ever closer to the girl. It began to singe her robes, and if she didn't react soon it would be fried snake for Nancy.::

::Lifey felt rather guilty, but she knew nancy was a skilled dueler::

(TEAM THREE)

Nancy's amplifigia sounderas spell worked well and she could hear someone slinking into the forest towards her. She got her wand ready. Her heart raced with anticipation, wondering if it was someone from her team or from the oppisition.

She heard a farmiliar voice utter a Reveilio charm and she was found. "Nancy" She heard spoken and cracked a bit of a smile when she saw it was her great friend Lifey. She had dueled with Lifey before, just recently actually, and she had to admit she was quite good.

Nancy braced herself for whatever was thrown at her. Her eyes widended a bit as Lifey cast a fire charm on her and gasped as her robes began to catch fire. She pointed her wand towards them and shouted "aquario sheildious" (water sheild), and a shroud of water enveloped Nancy putting out the flames instantly. She then pointed her wand at the fire surrounding her and muttered an aguamenti spell and put the surrounding flames out with the jet of water from her wand. Lifey's fire wall protection was now gone and nothing but a puddle of water remained. "Lifey! Those robes were brand new and now look at them!" Nancy shouted, hey eyes narrowing on her friend.

Once Nancy had all the flames out it was now time to repay Lifey for her burst of creativity. Nancy pointed her wand at her but had to think of something creative. Something that would make her have to work a bit to get out of. Then an idea sprang to mind and Nancy smiled in her trademark evil Slytherin grin. Her eyes twinkled just a bit and she set her plan in motion.

"Whirlwindium!" (whirlwind) She shouted and sent a twisting wind towards Lifey. "Totallus Hysterious Gigglious" (total hysterical giggles) Nancy laughed and stood there and waited to see what the effects of the combined spells would do.

TEAM THREE

Raistlin was running in the forest inwards trying to find someone but it seemed no one had got that deeper in the forest. So he decided to return.

In the edge of the forest he found Snapey and Lifey dueling. After Snapey finished he stepped out of the shadows.

“Good job Snapey. Now let me finish her and we’ll look for others. Hopefully no more ravenclaws.”

Pointing his wand to the mud that surrounded Lifey after Snapey’s aguamenti spell Raistlin shouted “ TREIBSAND (Quicksand in German)!”. Lifey started to sunk but was giggling cause of Snapey’s last spell.

When she was almost total buried Raistlin stopped the charm and froze the mud “Заморозьте (Freeze in Russian)!” Lifey was now stuck to the ground and still incapable of stop laughing.

Then with no mercy Raistlin cursed her “SECTUMSEMPRA!” Deep wounds bursted in Lifey. “Don’t worry” he said to a horrified Snapey “I’m just making her week I won’t kill her. JOINT (Seam in French)” lifey’s wounds closed.

To finalize he pointed his wand to her again and casted “PROTEGO! The blood will attract all kind of beasts” he explained to Snapey “I don’t want her dead but now that she’s protected we can go some Healer watching the duells will come and rescue her.”

Not waiting for Snapey’s response he got into the forest womb again.

::Ginny slowly wandered through the forest, looking carefully around every tree to make sure no one would be sneaking up on her anytime soon. She cast a protective circle around herself, just in case.::

Círculo de la magia del bloque," (Magic Block Circle in Spanish) ::she continued her slow trek through the forest. Thinking she heard voices she rushed into another part of the forest, and with a surprise saw Rai whom she nodded to in greeting.::

((Im sooo tired XD))

Severus ran into the forest, his silencing charm holding fast around his body. He couldnt believe he slept in over the start of the duel!

Thinking quickly, he knew he hadnt much time and would play the defensive in order to survive. He already had a strong silencing charm around him but now he needed to prepare himself. Firstly he needed height in order to see his opponents easier, yet the trees were so high and he wasn't a brilliant climber. Thinking, he took out his wand and pointed it at his feet

"pieds collants" (sticky feet) He grinned and began to climb the tree, his feet sticking when needed to the trunk until he reached the topmost hidden branch. His sticky feet would also stop him tumbling off the tree.

"bouclier maximus" (shield maximum) he uttered as he felt a warmth surround him. Next he pointed at the tree trunk

"fiche" (slip) That would stop anyone try to climb the tree. Next he took out his glasses and uttered the words "regard perçant" (piercing gaze) Now he could see through anything except humans which gave him clear sight to the enemy.

Now all he had to do was wait...

(TEAM THREE)

Nancy had just finished her spells against Lifey when she spotted Raisty. Her eyes lit up. Finally she saw someone from her team. She nodded to him when he told her she had done a good job and watched him as he used the mud she made into a trap for the still giggling Lifey.

Nancy smiled in her wicked grin. "Raisty, I never thought of doing that! Excellent!"

She then watched as he used the sectumsempa spell against her and she was a little shocked to say the least, but then again, this was Raisty, he was evil like that. He then sealed her wounds and casted a protego on her and she knew Lifey would be safe. She followed Raisty into the forest and held her wand at the ready waiting for whatever they happened to come across. They both had excellent protection charms casted on them so they were both safe from harm.

(wow...love you too rai! *note sarcasm*)
::Lifey bit her lip to keep from screaming at wounds appeared all over her body. Deep deep wounds that poured blood all over the dirt around her and stained her ravenclaw blue robes maroonish purple brown.::

::Fortunatly rai didn't kill her, unfortunatly she was weak and thestrals were gathering around her menecingly...fortunatly they only wanted to lick the blood.::

::patting the largest thestral lifey got an idea and leaned over to the largest. It nodded in reply.::

THree...two...one..and...

THEIR OFF!!! a quick charging start by the thestrals taking the slytherin duo completely by suprise and hindering their reaction time but....oh they've started running away now, not wise folks at home as it encourages the thestrals to charge you.....the thestrals have a good head start..and their nearing the turn....OH! a nip in the pants from the big thestral to nancy...is she getting up...nooo she's down she's down pinned down! AND WHAT"S THIS? the second largest has rai by the scruff of the neck! and is dragging him...and now rai is pinned two and that's the race ladies and gents!!

::Lifey grinned, watching the two slytherins be chased by thestrals..worn out, and finally pinned down.::

"Accio nancy and rai's wands!" ::she cried, catching the thin sticks.::

"Bindo (binding charm in lifey-language) ::magical ropes tightly bound rai and nancy undear neath their thestrals.::

::Smiling lifey pointed her wand at herself.::

"Munio" (fortify in latin)::lifey felt stronger.::
