Duelling Round Three: Team One vs. Team Two

In this duel, Team One must duel against Team Two.

You may use both spells created by you and known spells from HP.

You will not be marked purely on how long your posts are, yet you will be marked on the following:

Dragon entered the room wearing her special lucky dragon hide outfit and her boots which she had dubbed Dray and Gon, since she did't have any good imagination. Tying her hair in a tight ponytail, she drew out her wand and glanced around the room then at the paper in her hand. 'Let's see, for my team, there are Polly and Stephy, and for the opposing team there is Zelda...or Kaitlyn whatever she calls herself nowadays, whose dueling Stephy.' snapping out of her little world, she pocketed the list and muttered ::invisble fascin :: invisibility charm on all three members of team 2. Nodding at the effect of her own work, Dragon walked to the entrance of the room and muttered :: schermo:: and crouched in th shadows with a not-notice-me charm on her. With her wand at ready, she being slightly parnoid casted a slight shield spell ::schermo:: on herself and waited for the next person to come through the door.

(Team 2)

Dragon rubbed her eyes and shook her head to clear it. Shifting for her invisble position near the wall she glanced at Stephy and Polly who had an orange glow surrounding them which meant the invisibility charm was still working. She grinned to herself as she reflected on the charm. It was designed specially for group battles so one group could be completely invisble but so the group could see each other. Flicking her wand and muttereding ::avvertimento:: she pointed her wand at the door she put a warning spell on it to alert herself if someone came through the door

(Team Two)

Streams walked quietly down the corridor, her hair swept up into a smooth twist and her dragonskin boots making only the slightest hint of a whisper as they brushed against the stone floors. Pausing as she reached the dueling room, Streams stopped for a moment to consider her options. The door was closed, but she heard a shout from inside so she assumed that at least one member from each team had already arrived; because if there weren't two opposing team members in there, they would probably try to keep quiet, no?

Stepping back until she was a few feet away from the door, she went through her mental checklist. "Vials..." she muttered, patting her pockets. "Wand." She tried a fun little spell just to double check that her wand was in good working order. One never knew with these borrowed wands. They had their moods... "Explosión colorida," she said expectantly, and with a small bang, a flurry of colorful confetti exploded out of the end of her wand.

Then she put up a basic Protego charm, along with the slightly more complicated Protector Contra Objetos Duros, which wouldn't let solid objects hit her unless she was distracted enough to drop the shield.

Figuring that she had already lost the element of surprise, she decided to go for a grand entrance instead. The door to the chamber was made of beautifully polished mahogany, and a curtain was pulled to one side of it. "Rotura violenta interna," Streams cried, and watched in satisfaction as the door blew open, shattering inwards. Tiny shards of wood shot across the room, not nasty enough to kill anyone, but definitely enough to cause extreme pain and perhaps slight damage.

"Hello everyone," Streams said cheerfully, peering into the room. She saw only Kaitlyn, who for some reason was smiling, her wand held loosely at her side; and three orange glowing blobs which she assumed were indicating her teammates, otherwise, why would she see them? Nobody would be that lax when setting an invisibility spell.

"Only one opposing team member...very good odds indeed." She smirked and lazily waved her wand at the floor directly inside the doorway. "Revele los rastros mágicos," she said, waiting to see if the sparks from her spell would change color. Yellow meant that there were no magical traces, red would indicate slight, weak magical traces, and blue meant that a highly powerful spell was present.

To her surprise, the sparks turned yellow. "How odd...nobody's set any traps at all?" Shrugging, Streams strode inside and pointed her wand at Kaitlyn, shouting, "Entrampe las manos." This would force her hands behind her back and into an immovable position. Judging by Kaitlyn's lack of diligence, the spell would probably work unless she had a shield up...

Then Streams turned towards the nearest orange blob. "Hey, can I get in on that color scheme you guys have got going?" she asked, grinning.

(Team 2)

"Hey Streams," Dragon called from her watch guard postion from the door. "The orange blobs surrounding us is an special kind of invisibilty spell so only the people on the same side are able to see each other." she told Streams as she waved her wand and muttered ::invisble fascin::. An orange glow spread on Streams as the spell activated.

"There you go," she smiled and started repairing her shield that the wood from the door had slighty scratched. "I was getting started on the traps and all," she told Streams and Polly, "You guys can help me set up or help Stephy over there, although I think she's doing a pretty good job."

She flicked her wand and muttered :: sabbia rapida:: and a little quicksand pile appeared by the door for a surprise for the newcomers. Muttering :: lista sicuro 2:: she glanced at her list that she had drew out of her pocket and put everyone on Team 2 on the 'safe' list, meaning the quicksand won't hurt them. Stepping away from her work she flicked her wand once more and the quicksand became invisbible with a mutter of :: sabbia invisble::.

(Team 2)

As soon as Kaitlyn disappeared she casted her own spell ::veda il unseen :: (see the unseen) but it seemed like Kaitlyn's invisibiltiy spell was strong since she could only see a hazy image of the girl. Eyes straining shehad lift her wand for a second spell when she felt a slight breeze in the room right after the room wen completely pitch black. She cursed lightly and muttered ::lumos:: and the tip of her wand lighted up.

She let out a small gasp. It seemed like here was a whirlwind coming her way. With a flick of her wand she muttered ::cambiamento del tempo:: which was a weather changing spell. At once the wind died and down and a gentle breeze replaced it. She squinted in the dark and held up her shining wand and curse again. She had forgotten that she was invisible and the light will give her location away. ::Nox:: she whispered and the light flickered out and she strained in the dark to see if her teammates needed any help. ::vista del blocco:: she held her wand and made a sweeping motion over her mouth an ears and clicked her tongue. Her mind was filled with pictures of the room as she used her echolocation spell once more and saw that her teammates were too confronted by mini hurricanes

Kaitlyn was utterly confused now seeing as there where so many attacks. She first since that she lost control of one of the tornado she had created because a opposing team member ( Dragon) had calmed the winds.

Than the tornado that was headed another member ( Stephy) switched directions. In Complete darkness Kaitlyn couldn't see the tornado she she decided on another plan... She was going to let the tornado hit her and somehow harness its powers. She waited when she noticed that another player entered the room. The little light emitting from the opening of the door caused her to see that it was another opposing team mate. Kaitlyn breathed deeply.. she would surly loose the duel seeing as there was so many opposing team mates. When the door shut she decided to give up the rest of the Tornado's and focus on the one coming her way. After shortly deciding this she heard a windy noise and than is dissapeared... " What was that?" She thought. She just knew that a gust of wind had came and her hair was now messed up.

Seeing as the gust of wind was just wind and it the spell had been canceled or something Kaitlyn felt a circular wind draw closer she put a protective charm on herself so that the tornado wouldn't hurt her to bad. After this she tightened up all her belongings her robes and her leather armor so it wouldn't fall out. If a opposing team member got her deluminator she didn't know what she was going to do. After a few seconds the wind ever got faster and the tornado hit her... The spell protected her from debree but she was quit sick to her stomach. She forced her breakfast down and said " imperium Ventus per somes ( control wind with body)." With caused her to be able to think with the tornado and move with the tornado. To make the tornado move all she had to do was walk inside of it. With Kaitlyn now not spinning and quit over her stomach sickness she looked out ,but couldn't see anything it was still dark. She took out her deluminator and thought. " If I go after them they can still see me coming with there magical charms and such ,but If I do something fast they will still see me ,but I might just have a advantage in getting them... They can see me as of now I am sure ,but if I use a counter spell that will cancel all of there seeing spells they are using to see me with I can sneak up on them until I relive myself... Surly they will try to get there my canceling spell as fast as they can thought.. I will have to work fast them." Kaitlyn thought as she smiled. This was going to be fun.. Kaitlyn raised her wand and said "cancer seeing alica ( cancel seeing spell)". After she she preformed another spell that would let her see one team member. She decided to see dragon she she pointed her wand out and said " ostendo Dragon ( reveal dragon). Kaitlyn saw a white light that appeared to be Dragon and she smiled. Kaitlyn held her deluminator in one hand and her wand in the other. She wiped her wand around in a circler motion and whispered a welsh spell " amsugna egni ( absorb energy). The whole power of the tornado filled her and she started to go around in circles again and the tornado disappeared. In the completely darkness Kaitlyn circled one more time and the tornado was gone. she speed towards Dragon with amazing force She held her deluminator and in 6 seconds she would surly be there. She raised her wand and screamed " AER VIS! ( atmosphere force)". This would cause a nateral shock wave like a earthquake ,but with no shacking to hit dragon. One second after yelling this Kaitlyn flicked her deluminator and turned her attention towards the person that she thought the tornado had come from , it was Stephy. She flew at her and presided to it her with the rest of the energy from the tornado. She used a protective shield on herself and braced herself for a fall. Hopefully she would catch Stephy by surprise and hit her strait on.

Team One

(Team One)

Raistlin, was still in the duel’s chamber, where we was supposed to have battled Marie but she had never showed up, when he heard the exploding sounds. Checking the time he realized he had stayed too long, the match was over, he had won for sure.

“Darn this. It’s not fun this way” he left the chamber quickly and headed towards the Duel Scoring Board, he was now 2^nd placed in the duel.

“Bloody Dragons” Mei had scored enough to take the 1^st place. He looked at the duels schedule, there was an ongoing duel at that right moment, a group duel, how he hated group duels, he preferred to fly solo.

“Oh no! You are not getting rid of me” he briefly glanced over the schedule to see the place where the battle was taking place and fast as lightening he headed towards there. Then he remembered he had wasted his bottle of Dead Man’s Blood.

“What a waste of money. Those things are not cheap, I can’t keep wasting them like that. Let’s make sure this time I get around to use it.” Raistlin took a short cut and passed through his chambers to grab another bottle after that one he’d be left with only one more.

He finally reached the corridor that led towards the chamber where the duel was happening. When he was halfway through he stopped. The door had been destroyed and from the room total darkness was being casted upon the floor and wall in front of it. Raistlin smiled.

“Well I couldn’t have asked for more.” Pointing the wand to himself he casted "Lengua de serpiente (Snake’s Tongue in Spanish)". His tongue took a black, thing, bi-furcated shape. Keeping the wand to himself he continued "Ojos de serpiente (Snake’s Eyes in Spanish)". His eye iris switched into two green cracks with yellow retinas. Thanks to this now he’d be able to see in the dark by catching the smells which would produce images in his eyes, just like snakes do to see. Fortunately smells are not hidden by invisible shields or charms so he’d able to see any invisible person’s inside. Well not exactly see but know where they were.

Grabbing the saddlebag containing Acacia leaves he grabbed a fist of them. Pointing his wand he spelled “пыль (Dust in Russian)" the leaves instantly turned into dust then Raistlin spread it all over him. It was a protection against something he was preparing. Next Raistlin quickly put a Disillusionment Charm on himself. He didn’t wanted to be seen at least while he was doing what he was about to. His robes with the protection runes should be able to protect him from any rebound spells that got casted.

Raistlin stepped into the room. After a few seconds of catching the scents in the room he could distinguish 7 figures, though he could not tell who was who. They were all oblivious to his presence. “Great” he thought, while they’re distracted I can carry my plans.

Raistlin moved closer towards the west wall. He took out his Dead Man’s Blood bottle and uncorked. With his fingers he designed a human-sized pentagram on the wall. He put the empty bottle back in one of his pockets “Let’s hope this time it wasn’t in vain” he thought silently.

Ignoring the surrounding sounds, Raistlin closed his eyes and whispering he chanted

The pentagram was a portal to the hell lands. Once it was opened an army of dead people will come out of it, trying to take the life of the living ones. Raistlin had protected himself with the Acacia leaves, plant of resurrection. The incantation would take time to work. For now he had to distract the others until it was completed.

Silently Raistlin ran towards out of the chamber, before he glanced back at the pentagram, it was now faintly gleaming. Raistlin stepped out of the shadows and took the disillusionment charm off. Then he shouted keeping his hood on, makin sure his eyes could not be seen, only form his nose below.

“You! OBSCURUS GRAVITAS (Darkness Pressure in Latin)” The spell was to cause the surrounding darkness to increase pressure like gravity, slowing down the movements of the duelers, and ultimately holding them to the ground. He hoped it’d buy him some good time before he had to think of another distraction.

“Now, now starting all the fun without me. Well no worries, I hope to have you all finished before lunch.” Raistlin laughed and waited to see the developments. He had spared no one, that included team members

(Team 2)

Dragon heard someone muttering something buy the door but no one was nearby. Frowning, she flicked her wand and with the echolocation sense spell she still had on her, she caught an image of a human shaped object by the door. Someone was standing there, invisible! With her attention at the newcomer, she didn't notice that Kaitlyn had casted some kind of spell at her and her invisibility charm was sliding off.

Cursing under her breath she swished her wand slightly and muttered ::invisble forte:: for another invisibilty spell, stronger of course and :: gruppi sani muti non:: to mute her sounds so other people that are not her team can't hear her. She slid next to Stephy and said "I think there's someone at the door, but I can't get their invisibilty spell off, and whoever it is, I don't think he or she is on our team." she told her team as she clicked her tougue and caught another image of a person moving around and her sensitive human turned bat ears caught some kind of sinster poem being chanted.

Making up her mind, she aimed her wand at the ground near the door and muttered :: gru a benna del ramo:: and a bunch of roots burst from the ground and started growing higher and higher. Underneath the roots, were patches of quicksand that she had created with :: sabbia rapida::. 'Better safe that sorry' she told herself and put extra heavy duty sheild on herself and told her teammates to do so too.

(Team One)

Quickening her pace, June clutched her wand tightly as she raced towards the room that housed the Group Duel. She couldn't believe that she could be so late! If there had been a desk at hand, June would have headdesked repeatedly. She rolled her eyes, exasperated at herself, and turned a corner. She stopped short, startled at the sight before her.

In front of her was a room that seemed to be inbetween the states of light and dark. Strange... she wondered what had happened there. Around the door, little bits of wood clung to the wall, and June assumed that the door had been blasted off its hinges. She wondered who had done that. The room couldn't have done all this damage to itself! Atleast two people had to be here, meaning that those people, or that larger group of people, were invisible. Crap.

Glancing towards the room with apprehension, June waved her wand at it and murmured, "Muffliato", one of her favorite spells. She needed a shield and, going with her current mood, June quickly decided on the element that would suit her needs. In her last duel with Dragon, June had utilized the element of ice. A small smirk played on her lips as June waved her wand around herself in a wide arc and said, "Contego de invisible incendia (shield of invisible fire)." The temperature rose, indicating that the spell had worked, creating a ring of flames around June that were invisible to the eye, and that June could cast out of. Whoever got near her would get a nasty surprise. That done, June double-checked that she had her items with her, and smiled as she touched a potion that healed some minor injuries, a necklace that could turn her invisible and vice versa, and an emerald bracelet that glowed when traps were near.

June bit her lip and shifted uncomfortably as the temperature around her began to get uncomfortably hot. She waved her wand at herself and said, "Suscipio frigus siccus (maintain cool temperature),", followed by " Ignifuga (fireproof)." Now, perhaps she was ready for whatever awaited her in that room. June took a step forward, but suddenly stopped as something moved in her peripheral vision. She snapped her head around and frowned. for a second there, she could have sworn that the wall had moved... June quickly shook her head. Chances were, she'd been hallucinating, considering the scarce amount of sleep that she'd had lately. June shrugged to herself and stepped into the room.

Immediately, crackling sounds reached her ears and June frowned as her feet wouldn't move. What was that? A disadvantage that June had with her invisible flames was that they couldn't light up the room, meaning that she couldn't see anything. She pointed her wand at her eyes and said, "Obscurum secui (darkness part)." Now, she was able to see through the dark, and June jumped back, at least she tried to, when she saw that a tangle of plantery was being burnt by her flames, and that her feet were stuck in quicksand. This was sooo not good.

Suddenly, June remembered that in her last duel with Dragon, her opponent had once turned the floor of the room into quicksand. She shuddered, remembering how she'd had to get out of that sticky situation, and, though not quite sure, chalked Dragon up as to being in the room. Meaning that she was invisible. June sighed and looked down at her feet. Fan-bloody-tastic. And this time, there was no dragon around that she could grab on to get out. It was at that moment that June realized that there were only patches of quicksand; the substance didn't stretch very far before it was met by floor. Slowly, agonizingly, June pulled her feet from the sand. Contrary to what some people believed, quicksand could be easily gotten out of if the person moved slowly out of it.

When her feet finally met floor, June decided that now would probably be a good time to go invisible. She touched the necklace that swung beneath her shirt and smiled as she looked down and could no longer see herself. Perfect. Not sure what to expect, June turned slowly around, taking in the scene around her. She couldn't see anyone, but it was obvious that plenty of people were there. Wait.... what was that?! Something caught her eye and June narrowed her eyes. On the wall, there was a large pentagram drawn in… something that June would rather not think about. Somehow emerging from the wall were human-shaped figures, but… they didn’t look very human… kind of like very very dead humans… Instantly upon realizing that fact, June’s mind jumped to one person. Rai. Only he would do something like this, likely through some ritual or other; he was famous for those. She shuddered as the human-like things slowly walked around the room.

June wasn’t sure if the results of Rai’s chant would avoid the members of his team, but she didn’t want to take any chances, not with him. She really didn’t want those near her, even though they would probably be stopped by her fire shield... but perhaps she could use Rai’s spell to her advantage. June pointed her wand at the creature’s general area, and whispered, “ Ipnosi (hypnosis).” Hoping her spell was now in place, she murmured soothingly in a voice that only the creatures would hear and obey, “You don’t want to come anywhere near me, or the members of my group. No, instead, you only want to attack our opponents, the members of the other team. You will then return to wherever you came from at my command.” June felt a strange rush of power flow through her and she found herself involuntarily savoring it and its heady sweetness. ‘This must be like the Imperius,’ she said to herself and tensed, determined to keep the spell’s influence from corrupting her for the short while that she would use it.

Team one

( Its Okay.)

Kaitlyn stumbled to get away from her broken energy from the tornado. She felt weak so she put up a protective charm and sat on the ground. While sitting she looked up to see if her spell had worked on Dragon. It seemed to fail or Dragon seemed to get out of it for she didn't know or see how she reacted.

After a few seconds of sitting she got up and looked around. The hole fight was starting to wear on her for she had been battling so many people. To her surprise she noticed something on the wall .. it couldn't be... She knew what it was ,but what has Rasilin going to do with it. She just looked at it until someone else came into the door. It was June.. Kaitlyn looked up at Raistlin one more time and smiled. After this she looked back at June and smiled ,but than she disappeared.. Now standing with her back strait she felt a something.. She had frozen in her place. Quit unable to move she tried to retrieve her wand ,but was slow at it. She thought to herself.. " Who on earth cast this spell.. maybe it was Jessica.. She hasn't done anything in a while.. " Kaitlyn thought as she just stayed there quit visible since she had flicked her deluminator right before she attack Stephy and Dragon.

(Team One)

June's eyes widened as she saw a metal box form around one of the dead things. She turned her head this way and that, but couldn't see anyone. So... invisible people... fun. Her eyes narrowed as slowly banging sounds could be heard from inside the metal box. The thing that Rai had caused to appear was trying to get out. Perhaps it needed a little help to chase down the members of the opposing group. She raised her wand, glad she was still invisible, and said, "Scolpire un buco (carve a hole)." June smiled in satisfaction as a hole appeared in the side of the box, allowing the creature an escape route.

She turned her head; now, onto the next order of business: invisible people. June waved her wand around in a wide arc and said, "Homenum revelio." There! In the room, a number of shadowy human-ish figures appeared. Before they could get away, and hoping that any team members of hers had protective shields around them, June waved her wand. "Rasoio foglie (razor leaves)," she cast and smiled as tons of leaves appeared, all thin, razor sharp, and all were hurtling through the room. June was protected by her fire shield, thank goodness.

(Team One)

June jumped slightly as the dead people disintegrated. She sighed slowly as she came down from her power-high and blinked for a few moments before putting her head in her hands. Ow... she had the most horrible headache... "Thanks Jessica," she whispered, glad to be rid of that sickly sweet feeling. June raised her head, her headache lessening. Looking around, she saw that the leaves still zipped around the room, never halting and ready to cut. Fantastic.

She scanned the room, searching for ideas for attacks. The walls were bare except for the now useless pentagram. Perhaps they needed a bit of ornamentation.... June directed her wand towards each of the walls surrounding the room and repeatedly cast, "Vite frusta (vine whip)." Creeping and taking hold in the stone walls, little green vines began to grow until they became incredibly long, almost stretching half across the room. For a little flourish, June whispered, "Venin épine (poison thorns)," and smiled as she watched little poisonous thorns sprouting along the vines that were erratically lashing throughout the room. She jumped back as a vine got a bit too close to her for comfort, but relaxed, remembering the invisible fire that surrounded her.

( Team one)

Kaitlyn watched as several vines appeared and cutting leaves went flying threw the air.Since the dead people had fallen apart this was the new attack. The other team was doing good at dodging them so Kaitlyn thought she would make it hard to see the leaves. She got out her deluminator again and flicked it. It was now pitch black and the leaves that June had created where making a scary noise.. " I'm going to make this a horror movie.. no physical attack." Kaitlyn thought as she drew her wand and said " mens micans ". This created glowing red balls to form all over the room. They would not hurt the other teammates ,but make them confused and scared. Kaitlyn laughed and thought.. " Well... I have enacted the sight now time to enact the music.. ". Kaitlyn raised her wand again and started swishing it around like a conductor.. Scary carnival music started to echo threw the room.

(Team2)

Oh darn. First dead people and now the room was pitch black and she had last saw some kind of pointy thorn thing coming out of the wall. With her 'bat senses' slightly fuzzy from the bright flash earlier, and her sheild popped from Kaitlyn's attack earlier, she could only go along with what she had at hand, or moer specifically in her hand: her wand. 'Let's see, the other team has Kaitlyn and June...and this invisible guy that just let out a bunch of dead people, great' she thought to herself and muttered another spell reinforcing her shield with :: sheild del metallo:: metal shield making the shield hard as metal...just as a weird red blob of light came bouncing off the shield accompanied by some scary music. "What the-" it seemd like someone was a fan of scary movies.

::estremita di musica:: music end she muttered and waved her wand at the general direction of when the music was coming from. She raised her wand and with a flick muttered ::flusso del ember:: ember stream making a jet of fire shoot out of streak out. Since she was pretty sure that all of her team members had an orange glow around them, and that she could see no orange any where (only red and black) she fired away, her jets of fire causing a burst of light in the air and crowed 'bullseyes' to herself as she heard a hiss of fire hit the vines on the walls. With a few more flicks here and there on the wall she dosed the whole room with ::piggoia:: rain and calmly put on an umbrella sheild ::schermo dell'ombrello:: over her metal shield.

'Now for some fun' she told herself. The other team had been sprouting off pretty original ideas, so what could she do to match that? Tapping her wand on her chin thoughtfully as she standed in the darkness with rain pouring down at her, she had no idea except this, ::Accio Dementer:: and putting a 'happy' charm around herself and directing the creature to June with her newly recovered echolocation.

Kaitlyn was happily conducting with her wand in a 3/4 pattern when all of the sudden the music stopped.. She giggled know that this was truly funny.. She had annoyed someone. After this the vines on the walls well off and it started to rain. She raised her wand and cast a piece of wood over her head. Now looking down at the ground she saw the dead people dust start to get wet. She had a cleaver idea and she picked up a handful. With a smile on her face she pointed her wand at the the dust and transformed it into a full size organ. Kaitlyn sat at the organ and smile. It wasn't music anymore. With her wand pointed again she protected the organ from the rain with a simple reflection spell. After this Kaitlyn started to play Tosca in D minor , which was a spooky minor song ( Bach). With the rain it started to lightning and Kaitlyn thought of all the members of the other team. Lightning bolts started to emit from the roof of the room and she smiled. These bolts where directed at the other team members. Knowing that the other team could not stop her music at least because she was playing it. They would have to get her off the Organ to play it. This made her happy. Kaitlyn started to play faster and the lightning got worse. Along with the rain spell and the dankness this was a scary place. "If only the dead people where still here." She thought as she played on. All of the sudden she felt something cold... no.. it couldn't be... A dementor... Naa.. How would they get it in here... ,but it had to be.. All the same Kaitlyn kept playing and the lightning kept coming.

June laughed softly as red balls of light appeared, corresponding to the music. She wasn't sure who had cast the spell, but she thought that perhaps it was someone on her team... The lights and the music helped to create a perfect atmosphere. Suddenly, June jumped as a burst of fire came spiralling towards her. Er... what?! She flinched, but remained where she was, knowing that when the flame hit her shield, it would become invisible and become part of it. As she watched with wide eyes, jets of fire flew across the room, and June's eyes narrowed, tracing those horrible plant-killing flames back to their source. They seemed to be coming from a spot over there...

June pointed her wand and hissed, "Occulto en humus (cover in dirt)." She watched with satisfaction as dirt surrounded her target and solidified, forming a sort of mound there. Her Homenum Revelio spell still in place, June knew that she had covered someone. With another flick of her wand, June said, "Runco (weeds)," and took note that thick green weeds were sprouting and entangling themselves in the dirt mound. They clung and twisted themselves into each other until they formed a mat over the dirt. One final step, now. With a wave of her wand, June cast "Aguamenti", dousing the mound with water, and uttered, "Congelo (freeze)." Instantly, the water congealed and froze into ice, encasing the mound and whoever happened to be inside there.

June shivered. Why had the temperature suddenly dropped? She was still inside her ring of fire... she turned around and her mouth gaped open into a large 'O'. A dementor?! This - this was impossible!!! Was it even allowed to summon dementors into this duel?! For heaven's sake, did people want them to lose their souls?! June turned her head this way and that and groaned in despair as she saw no help was coming. She could no longer feel the warmth of the flames, only the despair and chill that accompanied the creature before her.

She had to try a Patronus; it was the only way to get it to leave! But - but she couldn't, she was no good at magic, there was no way she'd succeed, the dementor would get to her before she could even lift her wand... She'd never be able to see Cris and Aliza and Amy and Swifty and Becca and Katie and Amby and Pamela and Izzy and Ettie and Streams and Elfie and... and... and everyone else again! June tightened her hand around her wand, and even that little movement took almost all of her energy. She shook with the cold. Not bothering even to raise her wand, June thought of all her friends, all the people who made HE what it was....

"Expecto Patronum...."

The whisper depleted June of the rest of her strength and, as she crumpled to the floor, a giant thing raced past her. It was glowing... and white... and pretty... It hit the dementor, sending it back to where it had come from, and June's breath hitched as the temperature suddenly rose by several degrees. Goosebumps raced up her arms, but went down again as her temperature spell restabilized itself. June stood shakily and stared in awe at what stood before it. It... it was so cute! June gave a little giggle at the panda cub in front of her. She couldn't believe that something like that had chased off a nasty dementor.

As she stretched out a hand to pet it, the panda cub disappeared, leaving June with a renewed sense of hope. Fire lit in her eyes and June turned once more to face the shadowy leftovers of the Homenum Revelio. Her eyes narrowed. So... someone thought they could send a bloody dementor after her and get away with it? A smirk formed on June's lips and for a moment, she felt positively Slytherin, though she could only imagine what that was truly like.

June's wand arm was firm as she scanned the room for any oncoming attacks. Wait... what was that?! She heard a strange rushing sound behind her and spun, her wand up and ready. Was that a... ball of fire? Interesting... it seemed to large to be created by a spell... and it was getting a bit too close for comfort. Yes, June had a fire shield around her and yes, she had spelled herself fireproof, but she really didn't want to take any chances with that great big thing... Pointing her wand straight at the ball, she made a slashing motion while saying, "Scindo per aer (split with air)." A jet of air escaped her wand, slashing towards the middle of the fireball.

Just as June hoped it would, the jet caused the fireball to split, and to go off in to separate directions, leaving June unscathed. She breathed a sigh of relief and cast another spell, not wanting to be so easily found, as she was on the floor. "Tabernus (hover)," June whispered, circling her wand around herself. She clenched her hand into a fist as she left the floor, struggling to keep her balance.

Kaitlyn was really getting into the music when she felt something hit the side of the Organ that she had conjured and it runt the tuning pegs. With the organ unable to play she ducked behind the bench for safety and looked. There was a huge dragon right above her. " Stephy.. her dragon form.. I wondered when she was going to use that." Kaitlyn though. she watched as the dragon went for June and she look out her wand... " What to do.." Kaitlyn though seeing as her fun was now over. " Protega Maxima!" Kaitlyn said and her strongest magical shield formed around her. She was still under the Organ and thinking of what to do. She decided that she was going to just go for the dragon. she stood up and pointed her wand at the broken Organ. I just seconds it formed into a fire proof shield and magical sword. This sword would not hurt Stephy ,but when she was hit with the sword it would simply put her to sleep until another member of the opposite team could come over to her aid. With the shield and sword in her hand she ran at Stephy who was now attacking June.

//Okay, I'm getting very curious here... How are you all able to know where I am when I'm invisible? I know that Dragon's got her echolocation... but... I 'm not sure if I missed something in these posts, because I've been under the impression that at the moment, everyone's either invisible or disillusioned...\\

( I'm not invisible now. I just turned out the lights so no one could see me. I can't see you ,but I followed Stephy in the area that she was attacking so there for I know what part of the room you are in. That is all I know.)

June took in a sudden breath as she felt raindrops fall on her. Around her, she could hear hissing sounds and winced slightly as she realized that her invisible fire was turning the raindrops into steam. June bit her lip and stretched her hand out, testing the rain. At the moment, it wasn’t heavy enough to really do anything to her shield, but June noted that it might prove to be a problem soon. She raised her wand and made a face as she saw that, though she could see shadowy forms of people, she couldn’t actually see them. June really didn’t want to accidentally curse a member of her team… and plus, not being able to recognize people was getting a bit on her nerves.

Biting her lip and deciding on an enchantment, June took in a deep breath. This would be hard, and she wasn’t even sure that it was magically possible, but she had to try. Exhaling slowly, June closed her eyes tight and concentrated on the combining of spells that she was about to enact.



While chanting, June moved her wand in gentle squiggly lines, as if coaxing something towards her. To finish the spell, June slashed diagonally through the air and whispered quickly, “ Modo (now).” June fell to her knees and slumped as energy rushed out of her and into the room. She panted and for a while afterwards, she could swear that the magic had literally been sucked out of her. Ughh… June placed a hand on her heart and wasn’t surprised to find that it was beating rapidly, probably trying to rejuvenate her. After a few moments sitting in the air (she was so glad she wasn’t on the ground at the moment), June slowly got to her feet. She felt so tired…

“HEY!” June cried as she finally opened her eyes and looked around her. Her first instinct was to clap a hand over her mouth, despite the fact that she wondered if she could even lift her wand, but remembered her Muffliato spell. Oh thank goodness. Diverted from that temporary distraction, June returned to what had caused her to exclaim in the first place. Around the room, people had suddenly appeared! … Though they did look a bit hazy… as if they were ghosts in color… Her spell must have kinda-sorta worked! June smiled in relief but her smile quickly faded as she saw a bloody dragon in the room! June would have recognized that dragon anywhere…. Stephy.

And there…. June turned her head around and gaped as she saw the… White Witch of Narnia?! Advancing on Kaitlyn. NO! The Chronicles of Narnia series was one of June’s favorite series, and she remembered the White Witch only too well… She shuddered as she recalled The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe. June knew that although Kaitlyn could defend herself quite well, she wasn’t just going to stand – well, float – around and do nothing!

June raised her wand and, though she knew that she couldn’t do very much magic after her incredibly exhausting charm, she could still do some small things that might help, especially if there weren’t actually there. “ Illusione di Aslan (illusion of Aslan),” June said quietly, pointing her wand between the witch and Kaitlyn. She smiled faintly as the illusion of a huge lion that almost seemed to be glowing, appeared, facing the White Witch. It roared and June shivered as the sound sent goosebumps up her arms.

Kaitlyn was about to plunge her magical sleeping sword into Stephy when she saw a flash of light and she turned around. The darkness was getting to her now... she took out the deluminator and flicked it. The lights appeared as they where when she was back in the room and she looked to see where the flash came from. A person dressed in white was running at her and than all of the sudden a lion appeared and roared. She looked at the dragon again and than back at the white woman. Guessing that June was trying to help her out she decided to go for the dragon and put her trust in the lion. She took her sword and made a attempt to attack Stephy ( The dragon) on the leg. She waited for the results.
