Godric's Hollow

I was surprised no one started this topic yet, maybe because JK hasn't revealed much about it, but then again she hasn't said much about Azkaban either, so...here goes.

Harry walked up the lonely road that led to his parents gravesites. He had left the others a little up the road on the pretense that he wanted to be alone. That was for the most part true, but a small part of him really wanted Ginny with him, and the farther away from them he got, the bigger that part of him became. He was just about to turn around to go get her when he saw the entrance to the cemetary. Within a minute he was stepping through the gate and searching for his parents' grave. Walking along row after row it took him around ten minutes to find them, and when he did he fell to his knees and broke down and cried.

He had been crying for nearly fifteen minutes when he heard the gate open and someone walking towards him. He looked up through blurry eyes at what was unmistakably Ginny. He watched her approach and sit next to him all the while still silently crying. She took him in her arms and held him as his grief grabbed ahold of him again. They sat there like that for another twenty minutes at the end of which Ginny was also silently crying. Crying for Harry's loss of his parent's, but also for Harry. She hated to see him upset, but she also knew he needed this. There was nothing else she could do for him at the moment.

Harry looked up at Ginny and saw the tears that were flowing out of her eyes. He wasn't surprised to see Ginny crying with him; that was the kind of person she was. He motioned for her to get up with him and after silently conjuring a boquet of flowers that he laid on the space between his parents grave, they began to make their way back to Ron and Hermione. They found them at the entrance to the graveyard. Ron saw the tear streaks on Harry's face and politely turned his head to give Harry a chance to clean himself up if he wanted to. Harry was thankful Ron did this and was about to mutter a cleaning charm on himself when Hermione grabbed him in a rather tight hug. She held onto him for a bit longer than he thought was necessary, but he didn't say anything to her about it. When she let go of him, he turned his wand to his face and muttered "Scourgify". Ron turned back to Harry when he was done and put his hand on his shoulder.

"Where to, next, Harry?"

"I think we should head to my parent's place next. I want to see whats left of it."

Ginny grabbed his hand and they turned towards the road and began walking.

Emmalynn pointed her wand at the ground and whispered, "Silencio!" so the leaves and twigs woul not give them away.

"Oddie, Does your cloak have a hood?" she asked.

Emmalynn shook her head.

"Here's the plan: put your hood up and wait here, just out of the shadows, and I'll go get Matt. I'll tell them that we need to breif him on the plan for tonight, no doubt they haven't said anything to him yet. He would recognize your voice, but I haven't seen him in years..." She pulled up her hood. "Okay?"

Emmalynn turned to glare at the Death Eater.

"As far as I know, you're working on orders right?" she snapped. "Well, so am I, so you better back off. I will not be tortured for not following orders because of a lowlife like you."

Emmalynn took Mathew by the arm and stepped towards the edge of the circle.

Once they reached the trees, Emmalynn let out the breath she hadn't realized she was holding. She put Mathew down in front of Oddie and whispered.

"Shhh, Matt. We got you, but you have to be quiet..."

Emmalynn nodded quickly while she looked over her shoulder at the Death Eaters. They were getting antsy, looking around for her and the boy.

"Come on. We need to leave. Now," she said, getting nervous herself.

Emmalynn also noticed the absence of two of the Death Eaters. She assumed the worst.

"Crap..." she muttered after a failed attemp to Apparate. "Oddie, they've blocked Apparition. Give me Mathew and run," she whispered, reaching for her friend's son.

Emmalynn lifted Matt onto her back. She started running when she heard Oddie yell to leave her behind.

"Oddie, don't be stupid! Who'll take care of Mathew if you get yourself killed?" she yelled back. "Come on!"

Emmalynn had safely deposited Matt at the Potters' cottage. She left her patronous with him to make him feel safe and ran back to the graveyard. She arrived just in time to see Oddie being thrown over the shoulder of a Death Eater. A Death Eater that looked very familiar. Her father...

"Stupefy!" she yelled. One of his cronies blocked it, but she kept firing at them. Come on, Oddie! Hit him, get loose!" she shouted as she stunned another Death Eater.

Emmalynn arrived at the Potter house seconds later and ran in. It just had to be the place where she had hid Matt, too! She quickly Disillusioned herself and entered the room where Oddie was.

"Stupefy!" she yelled, pointing her wand at her father. She hoped Matt would stay where he was and not follow the noise.

Emmalynn grinned when her father fell stunned. She briskly walked to Oddie and untied her.

"I'm fine, and you?" she said, holding out a hand to help her friend.

Emmalynn grinned at her friend's joke, but glowered when Oddie asked who the Death Eater was. She gritted her teeth as she untied Oddie's hands.

"He's my father... I'm sorry..." she said, seething as she moved to untie Oddie's feet as well.

Emmalynn nodded and beckoned for Oddie to follow her. She went to the upstairs bedroom. Probably where Harry slept. When she entered the room, Matt came rushing to her.

"Where's my mom? Is she okay?" he asked, frantic. Emmalynn smiled at him.

"Why don't you ask her?" she asked and stepped aside so Matt could see Oddie coming.

((He's yours again. (: Oh, and I know Harry's room was destroyed, but for RPs sake, let's pretend... lol.))

Emmalynn snarled at her father. He grinned savagely.

"My dear, sweet daughter. How are you, Emmalynn?"

Emmalynn raised her wand and pointed it at his chest. "Vindictive. Oddie, turn Matt away, this isn't something he should see." The killing curse was on the tip of her tounge.

((No problem. (: ))

Emmalynn's hand was shaking as she had it pointed at her father. She sorely wanted to kill him, but something was stopping her. Severus's voice came to her mind: "Revenge isn't all that satisfying, Emmalynn. Don't bother with it..."

"Come on, sweetheart. Do it. Kill me; you know you want to..." her father taunted.

"Oh, I know I want to, Arcturus, but I'm not like you. Stupefy!!!" she screamed, putting all of her power into that one spell. Her father crumpled to the ground and Emmalynn bound and gagged him. He wouldn't move again for a long time.

Emmalynn looked at Oddie, her expression tortured.

"Oddie... I really wanted- want to kill him... I couldn't do it. Why couldn't I do it?!" Emmalynn cried. "He deserves it, Oddie! He really does."

Emmalynn nodded and composed herself. "Okay, you're right. Now let's get Matt out of this place," she said.

She looked at her father, then around the room. She conjured a piece of parchment and a quill with ink and wrote a letter to Azkaban.
Emmalynn attached the note to her father's robes and pointed her wand at the quill she had just used. "Portus!" she said. She tucked the quill into Arcturus's collar and he vanished three seconds later.

"Okay, now we can go," she muttered, head held high.

Emmalynn nodded. Her own place was a complete mess...

"Sorry about the scene, but he's such a jerk..." she apologized. Anything concerning her father always pushed her off the edge.

Emmalynn leaned against a wal and nodded. "Yes, please. Something strong; it's been a long night..." she said.
