2nd House Quidditch: RAVENCLAW V HUFFLEPUFF: 3rd-7th

(Ravenclaw Chaser)


With the bludger closing in fast he had to keep the opposing chaser out of the know. Flying directly in front of them to keep the bludger from their sight. As the bludger came soring towards Anthony he sped up and as he suspected so did his opponnet behind him. The bludger bearing down quickly he would not move until the very last second. positoning the quaffle poised for the pass. The time was now or never the bludger was nearly upon him and he dipped underneath it with a quick push downwards. The huffie chaser had no idea what was happening. Repostitioning himself He saw Lily a ways up the pitch. Zooming towards her as fast as he could he gave the quaffle a heave hoping she would make the catch.

(Hufflepuff Chaser)

"The game isn't over," Marie said with a grin as the quaffle was thrown back into play.

She sped toward the ball, a little surprised at how far it went - obviously their keeper had a good arm - and caught it with her two arms, momentarily forgetting she was on her broom and almost loosing balance. She squeeze the broom handle between her thighs, allowing herself to stay on the right side up and tucked the quaffle under her right arm, grabbing the broom handle with her left hand and straightening herself up on the broom.

She tilted her broom slightly to put it back in the right direction and flew to the Ravenclaw goals once more, winking at Jenn as she saw the other Hufflepuff chaser coming toward her. Quickly, she took the quaffle in her hand and tossed it at Jenn, speeding off toward the goals.

(Hufflepuff Chaser)
Jenn flew directly beneath Marie as they started toward the Ravenclaw goal posts together. At the exact moment, Jenn moved to the top as Marie moved to the bottom. As they flew pass each other, they rapidly passed the quaffle. Gripping the quaffle tightly with both hands, Jenn glanced around and noticed with satisfaction that Dancing was nowhere to be seen just as they had planned it. Making a final switch of position, she reached out to pass the quaffle when a bludger flew right pass her arm, disorienting her for a moment.

Jenn stumbled a bit on her broomstick yet was able to stay ontop of her broom as well as still having a firm hand on the quaffle. Giving Marie a sheepish look, she tossed the quaffle to Marie in one swift movement and flew around to get out of Marie’s way to score. Tucking a strand of hair behind her ears, Jenn glanced around in cause there were any disturbance in the play. Not like there was something she couldn’t handle. After all not many people could survive playing quidditch with Elfie and live to tell the tale. XD

(Hufflepuff chaser)

Marie easily caught the quaffle when Jenn tossed it back to her and tucked it under her arm, flying toward the right hoop as fast as she could before abruptly coming to a stop, aiming with precision as she sent the quaffle flying in direction of the Ravenclaw goal… or so it seemed.

::Dani watched as Marie and Jenn passed the Qwaffle back and forth. She waited for a moment before following close behind and high above, Marie dropped the qwaffle and Dani who was waiting zoomed below and grabbed it before the Keeper could.

::Lily grabbed the qwaffle right infront of her, Dani swore and punched the ball under that was grasped in between lily's arm. She hoped that Marie or Jenn would grab the up in the air qwaffle

(Hufflepuff Chaser)

Jenn swooped forward and caught the quaffle as Dani thankfully saved it from being stolen. As her fingertips closed around the quaffle, Jenn swung her broomstick around and looked for someone to pass it to. As she spotted bludgers and Lily right behind her tail, Jenn swung around a few times and threw it with all her might across the field right into Marie's hands.

As the quaffle left her fingertips, Jenn felt another bludger hit her back as she plunged forward ontop of her broomstick. "That better have not come from Elana," Jenn joked as she grimaced at the soreness of her back. "Honestly, three bludgers in one game? And it's not even over yet!" Jenn sat up slowly in time to see Marie score a goal. "At least we kind of got something out of it. Although it wasn't worth it." She joked to Dani with a roll of her eyes.

(Hufflepuff Chaser)

Marie looked around nervously as she knew she was too far away to catch the quaffle when Dancing knocked it from Lily's grip. She sighed of relief as Jenn caught it and threw it at her. She grabbed it firmly with both hands... oops?

Soon enough she found herself dangling upside down from her broom.

"Don't look down, don't look down, don't look down," she muttered to herself, shutting her eyes tightly as she squeezed her thighs and locked her ankles over the broom handle.

Taking a deep breath, she opened her eyes and looked over at the goals, wondering if she would make it in that position. With all her strength, she threw the quaffle at the center hoop and cheered when it went in. Then she looked down and her eyes widened in horror.

"Help!"

(Hufflepuff Chaser)

As her back continued to throb and ache, Jenn sat up slowly and swore under her breath. "I feel like an old woman with my aching bones and joints." She joked to no one in particular. Looking around the field her eyes widened as she spotted Marie hanging by....her ankles? Shaking her head in disbelief, Jenn flew over to her fellow chaser and held out her hand for assistance to pull Marie back upright.

"You know us Hufflepuff are really showing how graceful we are in this match." She joked with a sarcastic smile as she rubbed her lower back.

(Hufflepuff Chaser)

"We sure are," Marie said with a grin. "Thanks," she added, looking down with a shudder. "Ugh, I really have to learn to catch that stupid quaffle with one hand," she said, shaking her head in disgust.

She sighed right before the quaffle went colliding with the back of her head. Apparently it had been put back into play, but not thrown in the right direction.

"Ow!" she cried, rubbing the back of her head. "It's really getting ridiculous!"

She sighed and shrugged it off as she dived to catch the quaffle.

(Ravenclaw Chaser)

"Man, you cant enjoy a score for a second out here" Anthony said to himself after what he thought was a magnifcent play he,Elana,and Lily just pulled off. For just as soon as it was over it seemed that the action picked right back up. But he knew this before he joined the team. No time to dwell on it he thought to himself and headed straight back in the midst of the action. By the time he got into postition Marie had already retrieved the quaffle and her and Jenn were making their way to try and score. In his haste to get into a defensive postion Anthony lost his concentrattion for just a moment,and with that split second loss it almost cost him his role in this game. As he was flying after Jenn and Marie Anthony thought that he saw the snitch speed by him for a quick second. As he turned to look in amazement of the speed that thing flys with he thought how anyone could ever catch it. And in that time Anthony wasn't paying attention to where he was going and before he relaized it he was flying straight towards the stands. Gripping his broom with both hands he pulled as hard as he could to the right and just barely avoiding the collision. But he didnt get away clean, banking hard to the right his whole side was being scraped against the stand. Ripping his robes and skinning his arm and knee to pieces. "AHHHH!" he screamed as the pain shot through his body, "pay attention the snitch isn't your job!" he yelled to himself. Ripping a strand off his torn robes he tied them around the gashes and headed back into play. Straight for Jenn and Marie as they were closing in on the goals. Racing as fast and hard as he could he wasn't gonna be able to catch them in time. It looked as if they were gonna score and Marie was the one who was gonna do it. Sighing in frustration Anthony was upset with his play just now. But wait!! Lily came charging in with rocket speed and stole the quaffle> Marie didn't throw for a score she passed it to Dani. Sneaky little Devils they are he thought. And with a renewed confidence he flew to aid his captain and teammate. "Nice one Lily!" he shouted but the celebration was short lived. An angry Dani was closing in on Lily and with a quick punch knocked the quaffle out or her grip And Jenn was there to catch it. Anthony saw a bludger heading straight for her. His friendship with Jenn compelled him to alert her but he knew he couldn't. This was quidditch no time for being nice. She saw it though and gave a pass to Marie who was in postion to score and just as she passed it the bludger struck. He was to late. Slamming his fist down on his broom in anger he was very upset. But he knew this was how things went out here. So he waited for the quaffle and when it was tossed back in play it hit Marie in the head. Suppressing a laugh Anthony dove for it stratight off and reached just before Marie got there. "Hope you're alright" he said to her and then left her in his dust. Racing down the pitch awaiting for his teammates to join him he would not lose this quaffle.

(Hufflepuff Chaser)

As Jenn helped Marie back onto her broom, her attention was caught at the sight of another bludger heading slightly in her direction. Jumping to action, she quickly pulled herself out of the way. Although the bludger was still a far distance away and didn’t even seem to be heading in her direction, getting hit three times taught Jenn to be overly cautious. She smiled gratefully as Mel flew around and aimed all the bludgers away from her. Snapping her attention back to the game at hand, she winced as the quaffle bounced off Marie’s head.

“First thing to do after this game, teach that keeper how to aim.” Jenn said outloud as she mentally took a note to herself. Seeing Anthony catch the fallen quaffle, she shook her head. “We can’t have that now can we?” Kicking up her heels, she flew in the direction to meet up in front of Anthony. Jenn stopped a few feet in front of him and jerked her broomstick in a quick circle to delay and distract him with the Badger Branded. At the same, she reached out and tapped the quaffle out of his hands. Loosening her grip, she dipped down and scooped up the quaffle with her left hand. Before sprinting off to the other side of the field, Jenn turn her head around and gave Anthony an innocent smile and wink as she mouthed the exact words he told her "On the field we're enemies." with a mischievious look in her eye. Flying across the field as fast as she could, Jenn squinted against the cold biting wind and tried to guide the broom toward the Ravenclaw goalposts.

Tossing the quaffle up in the air, she attempted to kick the quaffle into the goal with the back of her broom as her trademark play. She twirled her broomstick around expecting to kick it in soundly. Suddenly a fierce wind picked up the quaffle and blew it upwards. Acting quickly, Jenn lunged forward on her broomstick and volleyed it into the right hoop with her left hand. Letting out a sigh of relief as it narrowly flew through, she fell back onto her broomstick. “I swear I’m getting too old for this.” Jenn joked to Marie as she stretched before flying to the center once more.

(Ravenclaw Chaser)

Determined to keep possesion Anthony locked in on his destination. No one was gonna stop him this time. Flying hard across the pitch watching everything that moved in his direction making sure no bludger or opponet chaser was around. The pain in his arm and legs was throbbing but he would not let that get to him. holding the quaffle tightly he charged forward looking for the best way to get to the huffie's goal. The many debates he's had with a few of the people out here has kept his mind sharp. With a quick strategy formulating in his mind he saw one opening. Just as he banked to take it Jenn comes flying in and stops just a few feet in front of him. Stopping before he collided with her he welcomed this challenge. Just then she did some crazy move and ended up stealing the quaffle. And with a remark to him took off back towards his teams goals. "Not this time!" he shouted after her and imediately sped off after her. The quaffle was his this time and no one was gonna take it. Locking his ankles together he laid flat against his broom and picked up tremendous speed very quickly. Catching up th Jenn rather fast he slowed down to make his move. Just as she tossed the quaffle in the air the wind picked and blew it out of her range. This was Anthony's oppurtunity. Jenn retrieved the quaffle and sat there joking with her teammate. As she was doing this Anthony rolled his broom to where he ended up flying upside down. Once in this position he took off straight for Jenn and Marie, and with precision flying split the two of them and reached out and stole the quaffle back. Returning to his regular position atop his broom he made no comment but just winked back in return. Anthony sped off once more down the pitch but this time he wasn't gonna stop if anyone got in his way.

(Hufflepuff Beater)

Mel shook her head as the ravenclaw chaser stole the quaffle back and began to speed down the pitch, yet as Mel began to speed after him, her eye on a rogue bludger, she noticed that there were no ravenclaws around him to protect him.

"Bad move Anthony" Mel said grinning as the bludger made a path towards Jenn once again.

"Have you got a bludger magnet on you Jenn?" Mell said laughing as she used her signature move and tapped the bludger abover her, keeping it in control as she continued to speed down the pitch after the ravenclaw chaser.

Luckily, it seemed she had a much faster broom as she sped right past him and positioned herself between him and the hoops. Grinning, she noticed Anthony try to look for a way around, yet with the other ravenclaw chasers down the far side, there was no way out. With a double hit-backhanded smash of her bat onto the bludger, Mel saw his eyes widen as it was a direct hit.

The quaffle flew into the air as Mel regained control of the bludger again and hit it straight for the quaffle. Again, it hit straight on and made its way towards Jenn, the bludger coming back to Mel in the twizzle shot.

Grinning at Jenn, she doubled back and guarded Anthony once again, who didn't look too happy.

(Hufflepuff Chaser)

Spotting Anthony intercept the ball at the lat minute, Jenn snapped her fingers and got ready to somehow take it back. A gust of wind flew pass her face, obscuring her vision with bunches of leaves. As she waved them out of her face, Jenn was surprised to see the quaffle quickly sailing back toward her. Suddenly she stopped short and the quaffle hit her arm hard. Fumbling a bit with surprise at the bludger suddenly in her arms again, Jenn accidentally dropped the quaffle. She loosened her grip on the broomstick and flopped upside down to grab the quaffle before it fell too far. As she clung to the broomstick, Jenn managed to pull herself upright once more. She turned her broom around and looped the goals a few times. At the last loop, she suddenly jerked her broomstick around and nimbly tossed it into the right hoop farthest from Holly.

Hearing Mel’s comment about the bludger magnet. Jenn smiled at her beater. “It does seem like it doesn’t it? I think we need to investigate this matter, I sense a conspiracy.” She joked with a laugh.

(Hufflepuff Beater)

Streams walked out to the Quidditch pitch, adjusting her robes. She was terribly late for the game, but her Quidditch captain had been aware that she had been away so she was not too concerned. She flung her left leg over her broom and took off into the air, going into a spiral when a strong wind blasted at her.

When she had regained her balance, she held her broom still in midair to assess the game so far. Mel was doing an awesome job as a beater and Streams was glad about that.

More than one catcall came from the crowd when they realized she had arrived so late and Streams flushed slightly but otherwise ignored them. Telling herself that her face was flushed from the cold, Streams soared over to Mel, exchanged a high-five, and then began swooping about the pitch, her eyes glancing back and forth as she located the bludgers.

(ravenclaw seeker)

::Elly swooped round and round searching for any thing that looked like the snitch. She dodged a ravenclaw with the quaffle and continued flying, she pulled the tip of her broom up and climbed up high, she leveled out again and had a clear view of teh pitch. Lookign around she saw nothing, no sign.

"UGH!" she exclaimed. "Where are you?" She then mumbled. There wasno sign of the snitch but Elly saw a big call flying towards her. the bludger, Elly pushed her broom tip slightly to the left and swerved out the way, the bludger flew up into the air, elly looke dup and saw it start to descend. Quickly Elly tuipped the broom to the right, swerving the other way, the bludger missedher completely.

That wasw when she saw the glint of gold infront of her, Elly waved her hand infront of her but the sntch was too fast, even for Ellys sharp reflexes, but she zoomed forward and follwed the snitch, up down, left right, and finally a large drop, Elly follwed, she picked up speed, faster and faster, but suddenly she saw a large blurr of yellow. A HUFFLEPUFF! Elly didn;thave much time to react, the hufflepuff was only metres away, and atthe speed she was going she would be colliding with the huffle in a matter of seconds, but Elly pulled hard on the broom tip, harder then she needed, Elly's broom did a loop and then settled down. Elly let out a breath she didnlt know she was holding and looked down, teh hufflepuff looked up in horror. Elly scowled at her,

~Now I've lost the snitch~ she thought ~I shoudl've just kept going~

::When streams realized that the Quaffle was headed straight for Lily and Lifey, she knew she had to take action. Now is my chance to actually do something!

Pushing her hair out of her eyes, streams squinted around the pitch and saw that a bludger was headed towards Jenn. Streams zoomed over and intercepted it, whacking it off course. Then she followed it and gave it several light jabs, pushing it through the air and smacking it back into place until it was positioned exactly where she wanted it...which was fifteen feet away from lifey and Lily.

Streams raised her bat and gave the bludger a superhuge whack, making it head straight lily and lifey...::

(Ravenclaw Chaser)

Anthony with the quaffle back in hand was racing down the pitch looking for his teammates. Proud of his play in stealing back the quaflle he couldnt keep himself from smiling. Just then Mel comes between him and the goals. Not stopping for nothing this time he charged her with full force and speed hoping she would duck out of the way. But no she had a bludger and he got mashed yet again. The quaffle flew out of his hand and he had to regain control and and keep from falling. "Oy!!" he shouted after her, noticing a smile of accomplishment on her face. She had just hit the bludger at the quaffle sending back towards Jenn. The huffles have scored again. Waiting for Holly to throw the quaffle back in play he hovered in one spot shaking off the pain hes acrued in this came. Then he saw it. Holly tossed the quaffle over Jenn's and Mel's heads going towards Lily and Lifey. Then out of nowhere Streams was heading towards them both with a bludger!!. Anthony ignoring his pain flew towards her direction hoping to get her attention his way so as to give his teammates the time they needed to score a goal. Just before he got to her she had already slammed the bludger thier way. With an exasperated sigh Anthony said " I'm not gonna be able to get out of bed tomorrow.' and with that flew right in the path of the bludger. Hoping this sacrifice would give his fellow chasers time enough to react. With a menacing thud the bludger hit him square in the back and hunched over his broom he held back his tears.

(Ravenclaw Chaser)

::Lifey saw the quaffle headed her way, caught it swiftly and glanced towards Lily and Anthony to acess their possisions on the field and did a double take as she saw Anthony headed directly towards an oncoming bludger. They couldn't loose one of their chasers to a bludger!::

::Realizing however that if she didn't move his distraction would be in vain, Lifey pushed her broom forward towards Hufflepuff's hoops, hoping to reach them before the Hufflepuff beater's caught up to the bludgers, and before the Chasers could intervein.::

::Amazingly her path was clear as a nice sunny warm day in July, and Lifey was able to reach her destination quickly; must more quickly than if she had had to dogde opposing team members.::

::Her only obstical now was the keeper, someone Lifey wasn't quite sure how to get past now that she had used a fake pass, and a fake fake pass on.::

::Scrounging up all of her arm strenght, Lifey gave it her all, and let the quaffle loose from her grasp like a bullet straight through the center hoop; right through the keepers outstretched hands.::

:A risky shot, but it worked!!!::

::Swooping in victory, Lifey turned to highfive Lily and Anthony, but saw Anthony wincing, yet again.::

"Alright there?" ::She asked worriedly.:: "Bludger are no fun..but thanks for the distraction cover! it worked brilliantly!"

(Ravenclaw Chaser)

Finally able to sit up Anthony rubbed his back where the bludger hit him. "Alright there?" he heard over the ringing in his ears. Turning to see who it was he noticed it was Lifey. "I'll be alright just wont be able to walk tomorrow." he replied. He patted her on the shoulder in thanks for checking up on him and then flew off to get back in postion. Brusied and beaten all over his body wracked with pain with every movement he made. Watching and waiting for play to begin even the wind hurt him when it blew. Forcing it out of his thoughts he flew back and forth in a tight line. He would not be hit with a bludger again. Breaking off his route as to avoid an opposing beater getting a sight on him and a clean shot at him with a bludger Anthony dived down gaining speed and then pulled up hard and looped up and came back down in the center of the pitch. The quaffle was put back in play and he raced to get it. As he stretched out to catch it a pain shot through his body once again causing him to jerk back and let it go. Rubbing his back he took off and set up in a defensive position. He would help Holly and try and keep any Huffie chasers from getting close enough to score. Humming a tune to try and take his mind off the pain he dashed back and forth on his teams side of the pitch. Just as he was turning around a rogue bludger came heading his way. "Not again" he said to himsefl but luckily he had room to get out of this ones way. The bludger was coming towards him in a diagonal path. Gripping his broom he took off straight up in the air and rolling in circles the whole time. Up and up he went until he pulled back even harder and looping his position straight back down towards the pitch. Seeing that rogue bludger reminded him of all the damaged inflicted upon him this day and he didnt want to feel anymore. Relieved he avoided this one he knew in his bones that this would not be the only pain he feels in this game. Not as long as he stayed on the team. Back in his defensive postion wating he kept a keen eye out for bludgers huffie beaters and any of their chasers posessing the quaffle.

(Hufflepuff beater)

::Streams grinned and shook her head as she watched anthony do his best to dodge the bludgers. "No one asked him to be so darn noble," she muttered, the wind snatching her words before anyone could hear them. "One more bludger would finish him off..."

streams chuckled and chased a bludger up the pitch. Just when she had drawn even, the bludger suddenly went into reverse and was about to slam her right in the head. She yelled and whacked the bludger away from herself, but this caused it to go off the course she had wanted it to go...

Cursing under her breath, streams swooped after the bludger and snuck up behind it this time, smashing the bat into it before it could turn on her. She had hit it to her left which was her weaker side, so the bludger wasn't traveling with as much force as it was capable of, but it was heading for lifey.

I'll knock out anthony soon, streams decided, ducking her head so that nobody should see her laughing and wonder why.::

(Hufflepuff Beater)

Mel laughed inwardly as she saw the determination on streams' face. She knew just how she felt.

As she watched the bludger head straight for lifey, she began to fly after it to catch the rebound. Luckily, lifey didn't see the bludger coming, hitting her off-course and the bludger, as predicted, rebounded back to her.

Quick as a shot, she managed to do her signature hold on the bludger, her bat keeping it perfectly timed infront of her as she scanned the field for streams.

She saw her approaching and grinned, making her way towards her, her eyes peeled for the ravenclaw members as she continued to keep the bludger bouncing upon her back.

"Double move?" Mel whispered to streams as she passed her the bludger and motioned her bat towards anthony

(Hufflepuff Chaser)

::Jenn spotted the devilish looks on both Streams and Mel’s face as they glanced toward Anthony. Trying to hold back a smile, she coughed to cover her amusement and called out to her two beaters. “I know what you’re thinking and don’t worry there will be plenty of time for that.” She motioned toward Mel, “Why don’t we try that move we were working on at practice?”

Receiving an enthusiastic nod from her beater, Jenn nodded toward the goals. As she looped the field waiting for the best angle to grab the quaffle when it’s being thrown into play, she trusted Mel to do her part in the play. Just then, Jenn spotted the quaffle get thrown into play once more. Leaning low on her broomstick, she dipped down to fly underneath all the players. Approach the spot where the quaffle was falling, she pulled her broomstick 90 degrees up and charged upward. As her hands tightly closed around the quaffle, she felt6 scratches from other hands that were reaching for the quaffle at the same time.

Holding the ball close to her side, Jenn looped around a few players with a speed that made her slightly dizzy. She ducked down to her broomstick and twirled as a bludger passed over her head. Approaching the goals, she swooped to the side and threw the quaffle in the right goal where she knew the keeper would be guarding.

(Hufflepuff Beater)

Mel grinned at hearing Jenn's words and circled upwards motioning for streams to throw her the bludger. As she did, Mel hit the bludger high into the air and slightly forward towards the goals before chasing after it, looping over it and tapping it under control before scanning the goal where the ravenclaw keeper stood wide eyed, remembering their last play, yet Mel winked at Jenn and watched as she threw the quaffle straight for the keeper.

Mel saw the keeper gain on the quaffle and just before she caught it, Mell double handed hit the bludger with an average, yet fast pace straight towards the side of the quaffle. She watched as everything seemed to go in slow motion before the bludger hit the quaffle with a sharp crack, forcing it to the left and straight passed the keeper for another goal for Hufflepuff!

(Hufflepuff Beater)

::Streams cheered and then decided it was time for the huffie beaters to go on with their sneaky little devilish plan. Swooping over to Mel, she muttered in her ear, "Let's both whack the bludger at the same time, towards Anthony."

When Mel nodded, streams grinned widely and zoomed away when she saw the bludger on the opposite side of the pitch. She gradually brought it over to ten feet away from Anthony by juggling it midair with taps of her bat.

Then, still jabbing the bludger to prevent it from zooming away, she motioned to Mel. "You ready?" she called, preparing herself for a superhuge whack.::

(Ravenclaw Beater)

Jimmy gunned his broom forwards towards the small bludger and glanced around, noting player positions with a glance before he reached it. Streams was to the left, that was fine. He glanced at Lily and nodded, catching her eye before sending the bludger screaming towards the Hufflepuff beater before winging his way towards his Chaser, beginning the rapid spiral movement that he'd need to keep her safe from any errant or directed objects beaten towards her. She'd already grabbed the Quaffle, so it was a simple matter to simply start spinning around her, creating a perimeter of defence.

Feeling not more than a little nauseous, he just about managed to right his spin before he went into terminal velocity, blinking for a few moments.

"Wow, talk about out of practice." He muttered, making a note to try this move a lot more during the intervals between matches. Luckily, his eyes were still as keen as ever, and he noticed the shrill whistle of the bludger coming towards him. Well, that, and Lily's shouting to him. Whether it was hit or not, it didn't matter, he simply withdrew his bat and smashed it towards the Keeper.

Jimmy's head began to clear as he grinned, watching as Lily threw the Quaffle. He followed it as it soared towards the hoop, so wrapped up in its path that a sudden gust of wind almost unseated him. Streams was still juggling the bludger in midair, and decided there would be time to take care of anthony later. Meanwhile Lily had scored a goal, and streams had to stop her from getting another!

Shaking her head to get the hair out of her eyes, streams zoomed over to Lily and when she was less than two feet away she slammed the bludger right into Lily's right shoulder, the one she kept using to jab away the huffie chasers. The bludger connected with a painful crack and Streams soared away...::

"Darnit, how did she recover so quickly?" streams muttered. "That bludger should've dislocated her shoulder at the very least..."

Frowning to herself, streams decided to throw Lily off course before she went chasing after another bludger. Streams saw that Lily was heading for the goalposts and zoomed around to meet her from the other side. Lily was glancing down at the Quaffle in her arm, so she didn't see streams when she pulled to a stop directly in her path.

It only took an instant for Lily to slam into streams and they both lost control of their brooms for a moment, spiraling and bucking wildly.

Streams chuckled when she saw that Lily had dropped the Quaffle and she zoomed away to grab hold of a bludger, her chest and shoulders aching terribly.::

Elly was getting hot, the clouds from overhead split and there was bright sunshine, heat beat down on her and she quickly started to need water, but she couldn't just go down to the ground and get a bottle, she needed to keep going
