Spring Dance

Ginny Weasley walked into the great hall where the Spring dance was being held. Her long red hair was tumbling down around her shoulders. She wore a short black gown with spaghetti straps. The dress did wonders for her petite figure, accenting every curve. She wore black sandals that showed off her painted pink toenails.

She walked across the room and headed towards Krista who she saw talking with another girl. "Hi Krista." She said happily. "Have you seen Harry? He is supposed to be coming tonight." She smiled at the meer thought of him being here, dancing with her. She always had such a good time with him. So strong and so incredibly handsome.

Ignoring Yuki, he gives Dani a cheerful smile. "Sure! Lead the way."

'Just so long as I don't have to dance with anyone...' He thinks as an afterthought.

Dani rolled her eyes catching his last thought, "Yes this way," she said leading them both to the GH.

"Do either of you want to dance."

He grinned, shaking his head. "Not me, you go ahead, Kyo-Kyo." Smirking with the comment, knowing it made Kyo furious. He spotted an empty table, the old one they had been sitting on and looked back at them. "If you two get bored, I'll be waiting."

He shakes his head, "Not me, I can't dance. The refreshment table looks nice, though."

Kyo doesn't wait for Dani's answer before making his way over to the ornately-decorated food tables.

"Great I didn't want to dance anyway," She said.

He spins around and shouts at Yuki, who'd found a table, "Damnit, how many times do I have to tell you to NOT call me that?!"

Dani sighed, "Just get along," she said

He refrained from grinning and turned his mouth into a line again. "Sorry, Kyo-Kyo. I just couldn't resist. I won't call you that anymore, Cat." He didn't smile, but he looked kind of angry. What was so bad about a name? His eyes were shimmering at Kyo. Yuki became so cold when he got mad, or upset.

"Argh!" The angry redhead snatches up a plateful of just about everything, a large glass of punch, and stomps over to a table as far away from Yuki as possible.

He sighed and got up, moving to the same table as Kyo. "Kyo, if we're going to be going to the same school we're both going to have to start being more mature and fight less." He sat down and crossed his arms over his chest, almost apologizing for calling him Kyo Kyo.

"Well if you would stop being such a stuck-up snob, it'd be a whole lot easier!" snaps Kyo, fighting the urge to get up and move to another table.

Dani sighed and placed her elbow on the now empty table, "thanks for saying good bye," she muttered

"I'm not the one shouting. Keep your voice down, would you? Stop shouting like your king of the friggin' world. You're making my ears bleed and no one wants to hear it. Now could we just try not to argue for this /one/ night to make Dani-san happy?" He tilted his head, looking over at her. She was alone, and she didn't look very happy about it either. He sighed and turned back to Kyo. "Now if you can find it in your immature little mind to stop being a brat and join us. There's enough room for you there." He got up, and walked over to Dani-san. "Sorry about that Miss Goodsman." He smiled, appearing much more friendly now, then he did when he was scolding Kyo.

"You didn't have to come back," Dani said looking at Yuki. "Don't think I'm just someone to pity." Her temper took control. She took a deep shuddering breath, "Sorry about that, I..."

He quirked an eyebrow at Kyo's oddly loud breathing but refrained from saying anything about it, he looked back at Dani and turned her head to face him, he looked her straight in the eyes.

"I don't think of you as just someone to pity, Miss Dani." He looked almost...forgiving Shocked, and wanting to make things better at her. He wasn't smiling but he looked concerned. "You're my friend, Dani-chan." He let go of her face and mumbled an apologize, starring straight ahead. He was embarrassed at his actions now.

Dani rubbed her jaw where his hand had been, "When people pity me...just worse than pis*ing me off."

Did she not believe him? He thought he had gotten his point across pretty straight forward. "Miss...Dani, you're a friend. Not someone I want to pity." He looked at her, uncomfortably. She was nasty when she was angry.

"No don't worry I believe you," Dani growled her eyes were purple. "Excuse me," she said standing up. "I need...some air."

He didn't expect to get any support from Kyo, but he looked at towards where Dani had stood up and feebly mumbled out a little goodbye. He starred back at Kyo confused. After she had left he didn't bother trying to stop her or go after her. If air was what she needed, then, so be it.

He looked at the door to make sure she was gone, over all the noise there was no way even with amazing earing that she'd be able to hear them, then back over at Kyo.

"You didn't...say anything, did you? There's obviously something wrong." He frowned, glancing over at the door again.

Dani sighed and opened the GH's door, she frowned for some reason she was becoming pis*ed off. She let the cold air wrap around her body, and she transformed.

Letting the wolf body take over her, she ran around for a bit, and came back dressing quickly and coming back into the GH.

"Sorry...I had to burn off some stress." Dani said sitting down

"Of course not! What could I have done?!" he shouts angrily, "Before you blame me right away, figure it out a little better!"

He looks down, still clenching his fists and mutters, "It's probably your company that bothers her so much..."

Dani raised an eyebrow, "excuse me?"

"I didn't mean to blame you, I just wanted to know if you had said something." He frowned narrowing his eyes. "You don't have to take everything so offensively, you know." He looked back over at Dani and smiled. "Glad to see you've come back, Dani-chan."
Yuki couldn't ignore Kyo's rude little comment. "If it wasn't your shouting that scared her away first."

"Glad to be back," Dani said in a weirded out voice. "I think"

"Screw it..." He mutters, standing up and heading back over to the refreshment table, especially careful not to bump into anyone along the way.

Upon arriving, he lets out a sigh of relief upon being out of earshot of his awful cousin.

Sky stood there leaned up against the wall and watched as people entered and exited the great hall. Just then, out of the corner of her eye she spotted Fated leaning against the oppisite wall she was leaning on. She quickly began walking over to him. Her heart raced a bit as it always did when they were around each other. He was someone who really made her feel things she had never felt before, their connection was something she cherished.

She quickly walked over to where he stood, her long blonde hair flowing behind her. She walked right up to him and stood only a few in front of him. "Well hello." She said to him with that regular alluring smile she always had for him. "You look great." She scanned him up and down and then locked her green eyes onto his blue ones. She leaned in very close to him so only he could hear her. "Do we have orders?" She whispered. She asked her question but stayed close to him, her hand slowly coming up to his face and gently brushing the blonde bangs from his eyes.

Maeve grabbed a butterbeer and took a sip.

'So far one person recognizes me and she wasn't even a friend of mine by the way she put it. I wonder if I even had friends,' Maeve thought to herself.

Maeve sighed and got some more choclate. Dumbledore had been wrong. This dance didnt bring back memories all it did was make her feel miserable.

Dani looked away from Yuki's deep purple eyes, they were entrancing. So she began to speak, "You must realize that when I become angery or weakened, well my eyes change color. They become purple, so just for future refrence don't pi*s me off when they're purple, ever, or you might not live to see another day." She warned him

He frowned, that was certainly thinking highly of yourself. He spoke in almost an annoyed voice towards her now, "Oh? And that's a fact, is it?" She doubted his ability to fight. Yuki wasn't weak, and could hold his own quite well if it was a martial battle. He imagined, that if she lunged at him as a wolf, he could survive and attack back, but he didn't want to hurt Dani-san.

"I'll watch out then." He said, lightening his tone a bit so it was less cold and softer.

"I just don't want to repeat the past," she said looking equally annoyed.

"I'm sorry that you had to go through anything..." He frowned, searching his mind for a correct word. "...Tragic, in your past and I really hope you never have to again." He nodded, hoping to end this conversation.

Krista looked around bordly again..."Should of know i would of gotten ditched again." She sighed, then went over to the food table to raid the chocolate, trying to use it as an antidepressant.

Rhia ran into the Great Hall and saw Krista walking towards the chocolate. "Hey Krista!" she said as she grabbed a piece, as well.

"Hey..." Krista said surprised, nobody really ever talked ot her except for Ginny, butt hen she ditched her. "Um...how are you?" She said stupidly.

Rhia shrugged. "Okay, I guess. I'm sorry for ditching you earlier... I don't really have an excuse... Well, actually I do," she said laughing weakly. "There was a thing with Yuki, Dani, and his cousin, Kyo... but never mind that now. How are you?"

"It was...." Dani muttered. "I'm gonna get some punch, would you like anything?" she asked

He frowned, her response was sudden. She didn't want to talk about it. He shook his head, "No, no punch thank you, but would you mind if I walked with you?" He asked, standing up and pushing his chair in.

He glanced over at Rhia. He had kind of left her alone...again...he'd have to go see her again soon.

Krista looked at Rhia, "Um...I'm sort of ok i guess," She looked at Yuki, and saw him glance at Rhia, before he turned to leae with Dani. "Hey Rhia I need to ask you a question, a question you know between friends." She smiled mischivously.

Dani nodded, "You can come if you want," She tried to smile but it came as more of a grimance

Yuki caught the glance Krista had sent at him and sent it right back with a friendly smile. He looked back over at Dani and changed his smile to a concerned expression. "Are you sure you're okay? If you like, we could go sit outside for awhile, get some air...It might make you feel better." He frowned, keeping his tone soft and concerned. He really was worried about her. She seemed like a spunky person, but, right now...So down.

"No I'm just fine, I promise." She said but memories kept coming into her mind. "Actually freash air sounds great."

Rhia frowned at Krista's obviously mischievous smile. "Sure...I guess..."she said slowly in response to her friend's earlier question.

Maeve saw some other people walk over to the food table. They of course ignored her like everyone else seemed to. She grabbed another piece of chocolate and took a bite.

'Maybe I was an outcast.' Maeve thought to herself, 'No one seems to know me.'

He gave a glance at Maeve before looking back at Dani. "Alright then, Dani-san. Let's go for a walk outside. This room is stuffy and hot anyways." He smiled and offered her his hand.

Dani gently placed her hand in his, as they reached the great hall doors, she stopped. "Where would you like to go?" She asked looking out acrosss the grounds

He smiled and took it gently, and when they reached the doors, opened it for her. "I'm not sure..." He wondered momentarily. He was about to begin saying that he didn't know Hogwarts all that well, having just arrived this year, but stopped himself. Remembering he had told her that he had been here all along, she must've just never noticed him. He looked at her and gave a weak shrug. "I don't know...I never went outside much, I don't know very many of the nice spots." He smiled softly. "You pick."

"There is this spot by the lake," Dani began pulling him slowly forward by his hand with a soft grip, "That if you lay on your back and look up at the stars seems close to heaven." She smiled as they reached the place.

He nodded, taking it what she said. 'How beautiful. This girl could be a poet.' he smiled as they reached the place and lightly let go of her hand. It was, very nice.

He frowned, spotting Ginny and Harry, deciding to ignore them.

"Miss...Dani, I'm not trying to bring your temper back but you seem better already." He smiled, glancing at her then over the lake. He sat down, careful not to be in any snow then gestured for her to sit down as well.

"We kind of abandoned Rhia-chan and Kyo, though." He looked up at the stars, as Dani had said, they were beautiful. "Not that I care about Kyo, but, Rhia-san...I do."
